Spacious accommodations with a kitchen and separate area with bed. It was in a good location and was clean and welcoming.

There was laundry available in a separate area downstairs from the courtyard. This was easy to use but busy.

Wifi worked well.

Couple things to note though:

Pull out couch is not comfortable and extra linens were not readily available so no extra duvet covers or pillow cases were stocked until after we made the request.

There are no elevators. So if you have anything that is heavy or have a mobility issue, I would suggest not staying here or checking to see if you can get a ground floor unit first.

In the mornings, there was quite a bit of noise from the garbage/recycling collection. Didn’t last long but woke us up much earlier than we planned.

The washroom is small as is the shower.

No air conditioning! Just a fan.

Found the hosts to be communicative and provided us check in info in lots of time before arrival which was nice.

We travelled with a baby and found these apartments had everything we needed for our stay. They are spacious, well maintained and in a perfect location - very central and close to the metro, lots of near by restaurants and cafes. Luggage storage is a great bonus.

However during the night and in the very early morning there was a lot of noise that disturbed sleep due to the bins next to the apartment. We kept the windows closed but they are not sound proof. We had seen the previous review regarding the noise but we were surprised by how loud it was. The stairs are quite steep, we requested a lower level apartment and the first floor was manageable but I think be in any higher up would be a struggle with a baby / children.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Excellent location, very close to both train and metro. Many restaurants and coffee places around. The only downside is that the hotel does not have an elevator and our room was on the last floor so it was a challenge to bring the luggage up.

Great stay in an excellent location. The area outside the hotel was perfect. Close to the train station but still in a beautiful square close to the main attractions but with a local charm to it. Having laundry facilities was a plus. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip in Copenhagen

The accommodation was great. Clean and with plenty of toiletries, kitchen equipment etc. Location is ideal for exploring the city being a couple of minutes from transport links and easily walkable to many attractions.

We estimated our arrival time based on the flight and oneard travel and the room was ready before we arrived so we could check in early.

The stairs are quite steep so we had a good workout to the third floor!

This location is perfect! We had a lovely few days in Denmark and this was our last stop. Highly recommend for families. Walking distance to multiple attractions and beautiful all around.
A lot of shops and restaurants nearby, can’t recommend this place enough.

Best location, clean, comfortable and secure

Compact apartment right in the city centre - clean, well equipped, secure, with included laundry facilities in the courtyard basement. Excellent location in comfortable walking distance to most of Copenhagen’s sights, plenty of cafes and restaurants close by, as well as a Netto supermarket around the corner (turn right out the front door, then right again). Walking distance from Norreport train/metro station which is the closest from the airport. Very easy self check in, fast and personal email response if you contact the apartment agents. Can be a bit noisy, especially on weekend nights, and people in the complex next door moving garbage bins around very early in the morning. Note that there is no lift/elevator, stairs only to upper floors. A bit pricey but the location is so good and you do feel you’re living a bit like a local might.

We were placed in a wheelchair-accessible room. That was fine. The bathroom was 4 times as large as any other on our trip but not super functional. There wasn’t a counter at the sink, a shelf anywhere to put dry clothes or anyplace in the shower to set toiletries.

In order to be comfortable at night, we opened the windows but the noise and cigarette smoke from the adjoining alley were nearly unbearable.

Finally, the hotel tried to gaslight us into checking out early by sending a ‘reminder’ the night before that checkout was 9 AM. I panicked and verified that all confirmations from both Hotels.com and the property stated checkout is 11 AM.

All fine however I’ve been waken up by bins being collected from the courtyard at 5:45am and dragged across the property to the entry gate. Very loud and I’m pretty sure everyone was awake. Later agin before 7am loud noises in the yard so not great if you are looking for a quiet place

Only problem we had was the 3 flights to top floor. Steps are quite high to carry heavy suitcases up and down. The onsite laundry was very clean and modern and much appreciated. The area is very walkable and only 350m to the metro station. So easy to come from airport. Great communication throughout our stay.

Centrally located, easy access to public transportation and major sights. Free laundry, early arrival luggage storage, excellent communication, and all of the espresso pods we needed(!) made this an excellent choice! Rooftop was only open 10am-10pm, which coincided with our times away from the hotel. Linens lacked a washcloth, so bring your own. Would absolutely stay here again!

The apartment was perfect for me. I had a ground floor so no bother at all with lack of lift. The entry/exit via the keypad made me feel very safe. The interior of the apartment was typically Danish and suited me. Every thing i needed was there. The bed was exceptionally comfy, the only thing I'd suggest would be more or larger pillows.

We loved this place!

The apartment was in a very good location, it was very clean and we had a great experience with their customer service. The apartment was just like in the photos. The building and courtyard was also very pretty and clean. You can leave your luggage at their storage room locker if you arrive before check in time. The only place to stay in Copenhagen!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Aperon apartments. There is reasonable space and very clean. The location is superb—5 minute walk to the central market where you can get everything you would ever want. My only suggestion is about lighting—in the living area by the sofa there is not light. It is therefore too dark for reading. There should be a lamp in that area. Check in and checkout was very easy.

I booked this place for its great location and ability to do laundry. After traveling for a week it was nice to be able to do laundry once I figured out how to work the machines. We were a group of three so we booked the one bedroom with the pull out sofa which worked out perfectly. Our only recommendation would be to have more functional furniture. While we greatly appreciated the nice table in the center of the apartment, there was very little area to place our suitcases. The cabinets that were available weren’t really worth emptying our suitcases into. The small closet which we could have hung clothes was occupied by a large vacuum. The bedside tables were tiny, barely enough room to charge your phone and a book to read. Our bathroom was very spacious but there was no table or shelf to place items on. Everything seemed new which was nice! Overall I would recommend staying here- it’s very safe, has a cute rooftop deck, and close to Rosenborg Castle and the around Tower. The lack of elevator with our suitcases was tough though, so definitely keep that in mind!

This was in a fabulous location in Copenhagen. It was a 2 minute walk from Norreport station - which is not only a metro station, but also a train station as well which makes it convenient for day trips likes Helingsor (Kronburg Castle) or Malmo. Around the corner is a grocery store (Netto) which is perfect to pick up some breakfast or snacks. It was right off a main street with lots of shops but still managed to be quiet and peaceful. This apartment is walkable to almost all of the main attractions. As a family of 4 this was a spacious one bedroom apartment and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Copenhagen.

Great choice for my second time in Copenhagen. My first visit was near Nyhavn which I found to be a tourist zoo. I would highly recommend this neighborhood; with a classic European square that is all-day more livable with coffee, bakery, shops, and dining and beer/wine options. Really enjoyed the small evening jazz bar with live music most nights (as American I wasn't expecting smoking inside). When I booked the hotel, I was a little concerned it was off the beaten path, but found the metro to be a 3 minute walk that quickly got me everywhere, plus an active pedestrian street with high end shops. On-line apps make it easy to figure out which train or metro to take, but did struggle figuring out which platform and/or track a particular train was on. Hotel was great; bedroom with a sliding glass door to close off from dining table, kitchen, and TV room. Lots of cabinet space. Unit was very clean. Windows open up to inside private area so very quiet and isolated from busy square, but garbage truck will wake you up in morning. Considering my only complaint is the knives were dull, then I highly recommend this place and would gladly return.

The bathroom was a bit small and needed some small repairs but overall it was a very comfortable stay. The lockers for luggage storage were also very convenient! We were on the 3rd floor so got our exercise on the stairs.

Aperon was a fantastic city-center accommodation for visiting Copenhagen. This was our second stay and would highly recommend. Great location - easy to walk, bike, or use public transport. Clean unit and very responsive. No elevator so got a good workout up to the 3rd (4th by US standards!) floor each return. Complimentary laundry, luggage storage, and everything you need to have meals at home after a day of exploring.

The apartment was very clean at the check in but lack of daily service, make it difficult to manage during our 6-night stay. The location is amazing and could be in quite part but still live part of the city. On the hand, the hotel itself was quite noisy make it difficult to get nice sleep.

We stayed as a family of 4 - children aged 12 and 8. It was a great base for the city and while we didn’t need any help the property owners were in touch regularly via email to see if we needed anything. There was a lovely courtyard and rooftop terrace and the laundry room and baggage storage were really useful. Only minor comment was there was not much space to store clothes staying for 5 days but would definitely recommend.

My wife and I (both in our 70's) were initially taken aback at the two-story hike up the turning staircase. However once we added up all the surprise benefits of the location of this property we agreed we had 'lucked out' on finding holiday accommodation at its most affordable finest.
Its generous interior courtyard provided peaceful sanctuary after a busy day shopping and sightseeing.
Kitchen facilities were limited yet adequate, and a damaged hot water kettle was replaced immediately.
If I am ever lucky enough to return to beautiful Copenhagen, the Aperon Apartment Hotel will be my first choice for friendly, affordable accommodation.

The property improved our stay in Copenhagen substantially. The staff were great at communication using the text message system, and onsite staff were friendly and gracious. The location is incomparable -- it's close to the train station and it's directly on a bustling plaza. We had a courtyard-facing room that was quiet and pleasant. There was Nespresso in the room (hello jet lag, how you doing). If we return we will almost srely stay here again.

This was just right for our family of 4 with kids age 2 and 4 the end of May 2024. A good playground diagonal across the street and an awesome one in Orstedsparken. Walking distance to metro to get to the airport and all around the area. Only downside was it was very warm (almost 80) and there is no AC and we were on the sunny afternoon side of the building.

The luggage room was also very handy!

Don’t stay anywhere else!

The apartment we had was spectacular! It was modern, roomy and very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. (My only wish would be for a microwave—spoken like a true American!). The location could not have been better! Less than a 10 minute walk from a direct train to the airport. and the market place close by has every gourmet thing you could want. The laundry room has 4 each of what seem like brand new washers and dryers—all free. The staff was very solicitous— checking in with us to see if we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again. It’s probably cheaper than a good hotel and so much better.

Secure building in great location

We stayed in a first floor apartment, and the experience was very good. You get a single access code that gets you past all the various gates and doors into your flat. Be warned; there is no lift.

Inside, furnishings were neutral and stylish. The sofa was comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with kettle, large saucepans, knives, scissors and usual crockery/cutlery. Smaller plates and glasses would have been helpful. There is no toaster or microwave, but there was a coffee maker, with pods supplied, which was thoughtful.

There was a useful table - although you have to watch the low-hanging light above it. My husband found the wooden chairs a bit hard to sit on, but there was a comfortable chair in the bedroom.

Be warned - there is very little space for storing your clothes. One thin cupboard will fit a few things on hangers; with one shelf above. No drawers or dressing table, so you will need to live out of your suitcase. One oddity; despite there being a double bed, you are given two single duvet covers for it.

The location is fantastic; Nørreport station/metro is a short walk away and links you to everywhere you might need to get to. There's a supermarket round the corner (and if that doesn't have what you want, two more a short walk away, along with a couple of bakeries). No problem finding somewhere to eat out; there's lots of options. Despite being so central, the apartment was pretty quiet. Very easy checking out at the end of our stay.

Appreciated the self check in & check out. Kitchen facilities met our needs, it was lovely to cook a roast after months of travel. Very handy to have luggage storage (again self serve) at the end of our stay too. Would happily stay here again

This is a beautiful property in the heart of Copenhagen, very convenient for shopping, dining and sightseeing. Beware that there are no elevators and that the ground floor is zero, so anything floor one and above requires moving luggage up at least one flight of stairs.

Property is newly renovated - beautiful condition. Although there is a not an in-person receptionist the staff are very responsive to questions remotely. Location is excellent - central for everything. Only thing missing is an elevator!

Great location for walking

Clean, modern space super convenient to restaurants and retail including the food hall. Lots of great windows that opened onto an interior courtyard. Worked well for our family of 3. Nearby construction sometimes started early in the morning but otherwise very quiet.

The apartment was nice and clean. Beds were comfy. It was a little smaller then pics but also when I reserved there were different rooms pictured. I was not exactly sure what I was getting. I thought there was a small couch but there was only one chair to relax besides sitting at dinner table with 4 people. The stairs to a bed were a little tricky in the dark. Also was not aware it was up 3 stores or 6 flights of stairs with no elevator so verify if you have trouble with stairs.

Perfect location and top convenience

We absolutely loved this apartment hotel. Perfect location close to many public transportation options. The apartment faces the inner court so it was very quiet. Very wide apartment, newly decorated. Perfectly equipped kitchen. Free lockers to keep luggage after check out. Quick answer for any question and request. Perfect also for stay with kids.
