The hotel was lovely andthe reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly! The location was the highlight! Tucked just behind the Nyhavn strip of restaurants and only a short walk away from some of the sights it was a great base to explore the city. The room is small as expected in the city but it was designed well and was comfortable.

Lovely place. Very ‘hygge’ - warm and cozy. Nice room, lovely bathroom. Fab location. V walkable to shops bars and restaurants or 8 min walk to metro. Same line goes direct to airport. Couldn’t be easier. Free wine on Fridays 1700-1800. Only negatives were pillows too soft - probably should have asked for firmer ones and gym is tiny as they’re remodelling. Ask for a room with a city view if they’re quiet they’ll probably upgrade you. Breakfast looked nice but never bothered. Too many nice bakeries to try. Look for studio x kitchen for amazing savoury breakfasts. And Hart bakery for some of best buns and pastries ever.

After nearly three weeks in Sweden I spent the last two nights at Hotel SKT Annæ in Copenhagen before flying home to Australia.
The hotel is a modernised old world, warm and cosy family owned business. They had the best and freshest bed and bedsheets etc of any place I stayed in, and best of all, the room was quiet. Breakfast was extensive and healthy. They also showed good colour and decor sense so it was very appealing. All within walking distance of many of the towns major attractions. Good interactive staff. And as one of the staff said, “you can even hear the birds outside”. Hard to beat. I loved it.

Lovely, cosy and well appointed hotel. Staff super friendly and discreet. Hotel is a bit of a maze in a charming way, and has several small but very comfortable public spaces - including lobby with small bar, larger bar, restaurant, and roof terrace which looked beautiful with its Christmas decorations and had a surprise honesty bar. The room was slightly smaller than anticipated and the interior view was disappointing, however it was very well appointed, clean, comfortable and with a brand new compact bathroom.

Property is in excellent location. Perfect location for Nyhavn area. It is clean and well maintained. Common areas are lovely. BUT, Rooms are very small, a deluxe room hardly fits two people. Hallways are so narrow it’s claustrophobic feeling. Hallways are so narrow housekeeping staff cannot use a cleaning cart to service rooms. Though most properties have similar small rooms. Air conditioning could not be set below 21C so room was very warm and humid making comfortable sleep impossible. Bathroom was very very very small and had no exhaust fan.

We were never notified that the apartment is three flights of stairs without an elevator. There was nobody available even after we asked to help with taking our luggage up three flights of stairs. I want to add here that these are really narrow and short steps. She was very difficult for us to carry our luggage both while checking in as well as when checking out Also the last day apparently they were likely children staying in the apartment on the top of ours with unacceptable noise for most of the days duration very difficult circumstance to deal with especially when you’re traveling from overseas or a very tight meeting schedule, especially when you’re paying this kind of fee as a daily Value for the apartment in question

Next morning we asked about the other room and was moved to room 417. Great size, a lot of light , not even comfortable with the first one. If both rooms are at the same category, it is very strange. Nice Location, Bad Sleeping Experience

DO NOT STAY here if you are a ligth sleeper or need the room to be cold to sleep. The hotel only says the AC can get the room to 21 Celcius, or roughly 70F. My room never was able to get that cold, even with the windows open. So you have to hear a lot of construction or street noise also to chill your room at night. I moved rooms once and was trying my best to make it work (ear plugs, night mask) and overall this was the worst sleep I have ever had at a hotel.

The staff is really nice, and the location of the hotel is amazing, but overall I can't recommend staying here to anyone unless they like a really warm hotel room and are deep sleepers.

I got to the hotel at 7 am and the staff were so wonderful. They got me coffee and got a room ready for me by 10 am. They really bent over backwards.

Lovliest hotel in Copenhagen. My wife is from Copenhagen and we go every year for 30 years. Since we found Skt Annae we never stay anywhere else. The view is beautiful, the staff are very helpful and this is simply the best hotel we have found after sampling numerous other hotels in the same price range.

This is a lovely boutique hotel directly adjacent to the picturesque Nyhavn area, but on a quiet street. Perfect location for exploring the city via the metro or on foot. Middle of the road hotel

All in all an average hotel stay. Our room was quiet, the bed was comfortable with uncomfortable pillows. I had to ask for more pillows and the one that was brought had a strange smell so we didn’t use it. I felt like there was a lot of green washing in the way that the hotel would say it was to be eco conscious but it was clearly just to nickel and dime their customers. For example- they charge you for plastic bottle water rather than have a re-fillable bottle in the room like other Copenhagen hotels. They encourage you to drink from the tap but don’t make it easy. We didn’t like that we had to use our credit card to rent an umbrella rather than the hotel just loan us umbrellas like a hotel normally would. I understand that it’s free for the first 48hours but it’s just annoying and would be more convenient and chic to simply have umbrellas for the guests. The hotel itself is unremarkable in terms of dining and design. Feels like a business hotel with no character or charm. There was one women with a black bob and bangs at the front desk who had great customer service but other than her the customer service was non existent.

We do not recommend staying in the hotel’s junior suite. It is positioned underneath the rooftop bar and is incredibly noisy - chairs scraping and stomping of feet from breakfast service at 7:30am, until 10:30pm at night. Made even worse when the DJ performs.
Attempts to resolve the issue were made but there was no suitable solution for us at the time.
Family enjoyed their stay in the penthouse apartment, and in a room overlooking the street.
Many rooms are not external and face into the covered atrium. Some are totally internal facing reception or a brick wall.

We were incredibly unlucky with the junior suite and regret booking this room.

The area around the hotel is perfect and we were very happy with the location.
The breakfast was good.

Great find in boutique hotel

Hôtel is very nice in an excellent area for walking. Unexpected problem with airlines and they quickly accommodated us for another evening ( during fashion week) bent over to help us.

We only stayed one night at the hotel but we're very pleased with it. The location is great - very close to Nyhavn as well as several other tourist spots. There are many food choices around the area as well. The hotel itself was nice. We booked a larger room and it was plenty big for the 2 of us. Would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, but the ‘small’rooms are very small!

Lovely decor and vibe, good location. Our ‘small deluxe’ room was very small, so can’t open suitcases etc. Doors very heavy. Rooftop bar nice, and we enjoyed a few games of shuffleboard.

We stayed at the property in July, as a family, and had a really lovely time. The hotel is located on a beautiful fairly quiet street, very close to the harbor, shopping areas, and the harbor. The staff was excellent, and the Shrimp restaurant was really good. Highly recommend this property.

Good location, basic everything else

Don’t plan on getting any sleep between noisy bars and uncomfortable bed. Service is just okay. Pictures definitely oversell the quality of the hotel, dated and very basic.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. I’ve always had a pleasant experience: the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is very good, and the rooms are nice. However, during this last stay, I had an issue that left a bad impression. I had booked a room with a double bed more than six months in advance, but when I arrived, I was given a room with twin beds instead. No solution was offered— I was simply told the hotel was fully booked. It was quite frustrating, especially considering how far in advance I made the reservation, and I regret that the staff wasn’t able to handle the situation better.

An excellent location, easy walking distance to attractions, pretty hotel, tres chic. However, there is nothing like arriving at your hotel and having 3 front desk people watch you struggle to check in on the auto-check in machine - please can i just check in. Then the e-key didn't work getting me up the stairs, etc.

I would NOT recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The location is Excellent and the staff very nice but the rooms have many problems. All the light switches have to be pressed many times to work at all; I once counted 48 times that I had to press the switch to turn off the overhead light for the evening!! The air conditioning works when it feels like it; you have to lower it over and over and it works for a short time and then stops again. I had to ask for a fan so I could tolerate the room. It was cooler outside but the room itself was stuffy and hot. The toilet is on the same plan of needing to press the button over and over for it to flush.

An even bigger problem is all the steps in not normal places. You get off the elevator for your floor and halfway to your room you have to go up or down 3 steps. There is a step up to get in the door of your room and a step up and down going to and from the bathroom. This is a real middle of the night disaster waiting to happen. There is a tiny step coming out of the shower that you can barely see because the tile pattern stays the same but it is enough to potentially cause a fall.

Bed was ok, the room itself was fine but not notable (except for the flooding from the shower and lack of towels so you could deal with flooding. The common area downstairs was gorgeous and the breakfast was impressive. Might be the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had in Europe- maybe anywhere. The location to the Metro and Nyhavn was great. Was my first time in Copenhagen and I would definitely go back if I returned.

Boutique hotel with excellent location

The best thing about this hotel is its excellent location - jist next to Nyhavn and Amelienborg Palace. Very convenient for sightseeing. Room is spacious with eco friendly facilities and amenities. Breakfast is served either in the courtyard or in the salon. You can also dine outside the hotel al fresco.

The front desk was very kind and helpful. Easy walk to central Copenhagen, Nyhavn, and the waterfront where you’ll find the Little Mermaid statue. Breakfast was good.

From 10:30-1500 (I believe :)) there is a little cafe on the first floor with outdoor seating, it becomes a restaurant in the evening. The cafe makes the best cappuccino we had on our trip, especially if you get one of the cookies they make and dunk it in the drink. I think that’s what I miss most about Copenhagen.

Very nice property. The pillows were terrible, but the staff kindly found some decent pillows for us to use with no hassle. I have nothing but nice things to say about this hotel (except maybe vary your pillows in the rooms, all of the ones in the room to start were soft and flat, terrible pillows for side sleepers).
