We family of 4 stayed here for 7 days. My two teens really love the kitchen. It’s spacious though sometimes a bit crowd. We paid 20dkk per person for our stay (same
price no matter how long you stay) and you have unlimited pasta and rice for free. We love the space on the ground floor where people could socialise and chill out. It’s the cheapest stay I can find which is not far from the city. Highly recommend this hostel!

Room was okay bit small, the locker in the room is extremely small though! There is locker facilities but think you need to pay. Bathroom in the room was fine but no real privacy as the door had a large gap. I therefore used the shower facilities out with the room, they were good but had to go a couple of floors down to access them. One hair dryer between the 5 showers and it would over heat after a minute or so. Didn’t have any interaction with any staff member as it’s all through an app but the cafe and pizza area looked pretty cool and was always busy. The hostel run lots of events but I guess as I didn’t have any interaction with the staff when checking in or that, I felt a bit nervous to join in as it appeared to all be big groups. Stayed in plenty of hostels and facilities wise with the gym etc, this is the best. The lobby looked more like a hotel but the shower and room facilities let it down a little. I would stay again though.

Amazing location, easy bus access and very walkable. Staff were absolutely amazing and kind, always willing to help. We stayed in a private double bed with a bathroom and though it was small it was good if you just needed a place to relax and sleep. Bathroom was a good size with heated flooring. Did find some hair in bed and mess left on the windowsill but an easy enough clean. One of the best hostels Ive stayed in for atmosphere, plenty of activities and amenities, my partner made use of the football game held on Wednesdays. Definitely will be back!

The entire place was very clean and 1000% worth the price! I love the activities they include for all sorts of travelers. I had quality time with a lot of nice people, even thought I’m on the shy side. The staff were very friendly and they seem to really enjoy the company of all travelers here. I would easily come back here again and recommend family/friends to come here as well!

We asked about early check-in from the beginning, but the front desk staff on Thursday, 11/27 simply said it was “not possible” without any explanation. She felt unfriendly and unhelpful, and honestly, for someone working at reception, she really needs proper customer service training.

We stayed for three days and were told we could only use one towel each with no replacements. Later, we also found out that requesting an extra towel costs additional money — something never mentioned on Expedia or during the booking process. It felt misleading and unfair.

Although the property details claim that luggage storage is available, we were told to pay and use a locker instead.

Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I would not return.

You could stay in the hostel and never leave and have a wonderful trip. It’s like a community center and bar all rolling together. I was worried that it would only be for young travelers, but that was not the case. There were families, there were seniors, couples, single travelers. Everyone was welcome.

Very well located right outside bus stops and close to all the attractions. However, our room was not very clean as the floor and sides of the bed were dusty and dirty in places. The fact that we had to pay to use the kitchen in a backpackers didn't go down well with us. Especially when the room had nothing in it for that purpose and you weren't allowed to eat or drink in it. Also, the cost to use the lockers was exorbitant considering there wasn't much space in our room.

Great value. It's in the red light district, so worth noting if you're trying to avoid this area. In terms of facilities, it's a bit lacking. It has a bed the toilets and showers, but no kitchen; rooms are tight. The staff is overall nice but they're not flexible. I had twisted my ankle a couple days before check in and they refused to give me a bottom bunk even though it was available. Dangerous climb every time but I survived

This is an incredible hostel. Stayed in a private 3 bed room with a private bathroom. The facilities are amazing, I’ve never stayed in a hostel with so many things to do. They have multiple bars, game and activities. Good energy and great location 10 minutes walk from the train station. Close by to the city center as well

The rooms have private bathrooms and I liked the way the bunk partially closed me in. Very clean. Staff friendly. Lively.

The even better would be that the check-in was confusing because it asked us to download an app to get the key but the key wasn't available in the app. So it was a waste of time.

The room (private double) was very small, but it was very clean and quiet.
We took advantage of the buffet breakfast and pizza and salad evening and they were really good value and nice food too.
We also used the laundry and the lockers.
We went on the walking tour, which was great.
We used Donkey Republic bikes to get around, which were good value and easy to use.

This is a hostel meant basically for young people and guess short stays. The rooms are not small.... they are tiny, no shelves, nowhere to put anything, I had a \"normal\" room but had a real sense of claustrophoby. In all honesty I did not really checked the rooms or amenities before I booked, so my fault, but not, this hotel is not for me.

Next House is absolutely huge, definitely the biggest hostel I've stayed at. It has a huge range of facilitirs, multiple bars and a restaurant. It's very social, and the hostel hosts a lot of events and does a good job of linking up solo travllers. Having said this, the flashy look of the place hides some of the biggest frustrations with this hostel.
The 4 person dorms are tiny - lockers dont fit a suitcase of any kind, and the hostel expects you to pay for suitcase/backpack sized lockers in the basement.
The ensuite is too small for 4 people to share, and would quickly get dirty and wet, particularly as the shower would leak onto what little of the bathroom floor there is. There was no storage, and very little hanging space, so it made having a shower and getting changed quite a chore.
The pod style bunks, whilst private, were hot and stuffy, even with the air con up to the max setting. If you have mobility issues I would reconsider booking this hostel as the top bunks are very difficult to get up to.
Finally, if you'd like to use the hostel Kitchen, you are forced to pay for the privilege.
It was also a requirement to pay for the gym and sports pitch, which are more understandable given they are above and beyond normal facilities, but for using a kitchen this seemed steep. I think this hostel sucks you in with the buzz of the facilities but lets you down on the dorms themselves.

It was overall a fine option. The room is too small compared to another hostel with the same service and operating style/system. Also there’s smell in the capsules bed. However the public space is a lot bigger with different areas like barsss, footballs room, gym and cinema. The location is good enough, less than 10mins walking distance to the train station.

Next House is an incredibly fun place to stay! The amenities and events are a wonderful way to meet other travelers, especially if you are traveling solo. There is a fitness gym, a sports area, cinema, and rooftop bar. Some of these incur a small fee but the cinema is free to use. There is a pizza buffet, which can be convenient if you arrive late at night and other places are closed. The location is great, very close to Tivoli Gardens and around 30 minutes to walk to Nyhaven or Rosenborg Castle. What I liked best about the room is that it was cool and quiet. The bathroom and linens were clean, but the walls of the room were dirty and there were cobwebs on the ceiling.

Haven't stayed in a hostel in a while, private room with 4 pods was very tight and we used one bed for luggage. Staff were amazing! Fun accessible and happy to offer suggestions, amenities were amazing including the rooftop patio! 3 adults all agreed we would definitely stay again! Thanks next house!

Stayed in a female only room for 4 women - it was unacceptably tiny. Hardly any room to move much less open a suitcase. Bathroom is also small, think airplane restroom with a tiny shower.

The rest of the facilities are nice, though party central for the youth. Do not recommend for more mature folks.

Horrible rooms, extremely small. Feels like a dungeon. Sink in bathroom doesn't have hot water. How can you shave with cold water?Hostel has all you can eat breakfast, and pizza for dinner. Extremely loud and crowded lobby and common areas. There's no quiet area to sit down, relax, read, or write your diary. Staff is extremely friendly and nice. Location is away from restaurants but close to transportation. The only supermarket is 3 blocks away. Bus #5 stops in front of the hostel and takes you to the airport. That's very convenient. I'll avoid this hostel in the future!

Amazing facilities, clean and very pleasant stay.

It was a good experience. I wouldn't stay here for long as sharing a room with other travellers made it hard to sleep since everyone has different schedules and would make noise at different times of the night/morning.

Do note: there is an additional locker charge of about 60 DKK for storage of luggage if you check-in early/check-out late.

Really noisy. The rooms were small but tidy. However it's a little offputting having a bathroom attached to the bedroom. one of the worst things for me, is body sprays and having a bathroom in the dorms meant someone spraying a lot of spray, after a shower. As an asthmatic, it's not very pleasant

My duvey under the cover, seemed to have a lot of red staining, which looked like blood, on it.

Really not nice at all. Thankfully the room was warm enough to not need it
