We stayed here twice. First time everything was good. Second time the lift was broken and so was the toilet in our room. They moved us to another room without any bother. Overall we really liked this hotel despite no tea/coffee available in the room. Nice underfloor hearing was welcome and beds very comfortable.

I stayed in a standard double and didn't have breakfast at the venue. The positives include friendly staff, a beautifully designed cafe/bar area, and a wonderful location.

However, I don't think the hotel lives up to the hype.

The amenities in the room didn't justify the price tag. The standard double wasn't just small; it felt poorly designed. For example, why are there no coat hooks? A massive oversight, given the enormous winter coats most visitors need to wear. The clothing rail only had space for five coat hangers. There was a cupboard with shelves, but that isn't great if you have clothes that you don't want to crease.

There was no fridge in the room, under the guise of being eco-friendly, but this is likely more about the small square footage and poor use of space.

The bathroom was a decent size, but the shower felt relatively compact and had a 3/4 length fabric curtain instead of a screen, so the water got everywhere. The lack of underfloor heating and a single small bath mat meant standing water for a long time afterwards.

There was no safe, which made me uncomfortable leaving valuables while out for the day.

The mattress is very soft, which wasn't to my personal preference; however, the duvet was very comfortable.

The bar was nice; however, people using it as a place to work at all times of the day and night definitely changed the vibe - seeing laptops everywhere definitely affected the ambience.

In conclusion, I expected more.

Nice hotel right in the centre of Copenhagen so great for all that stuff. The reception area and staff are nice and very helpful and friendly.
I felt the room was a little basic but it’s modern enough and this appears to be quite an old hotel. Bed was comfy though and clean so all good.

The hotel itself is good and the staff are all friendly. The facilities in the room are not amazing (no tea or coffee making) and there was some noise during the night from the courtyard. The rooms was also really stuffy and does not have AC. We did complain to the front desk and they allowed us to switch to a quieter room which was really nice of them so no complaints overall. Would recommend booking a suite. The transport is so convenient and the bar and cafe are lovely.

We adored staying in this hotel. The rooms were lovely and it has a fab court yard in the middle for drinks. The only bad part was we felt it was a little understaffed so you need to queue at reception or wait a little while for drinks. This didn’t bother us too much though, and we highly recommend to others! The area is perfect too!

We would describe the Coco as \"chic\" and \"boutique\" in nature. Small and artsy, the Coco would probably more than hold its own in Los Angeles or Paris. Here are some things we particularly liked about Coco: warm, welcoming, and informative staff... location (particularly to the train station, meatpacking district, Tivoli, and Stroget Street)... some perfect hang out areas for doing some work or talking to other guests in the lobby and atrium...and bright and architecturally \"cool\" rooms. Here are some dislikes: we would skip adding breakfast to your reservation (very limited offerings and little to no variety from day to day)... you will have some pretty long and challenging walks to some of Copenhagen's attractions to the north and northeastern parts of the city... and no safe or closet in the rooms. All in all, a fun stay. We'd book it again...

I loved the design and general atmosphere. My room was super quiet, even with the window open. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Café was lovely and delicious.
The bed was comfortable. I missed a coffee maker and a safe in the room. Lots of great restaurants and shops close by. General area felt ok safe even late at night and as a woman traveling alone, (best when you stay on the main road however).

Nice hotel, although we were slightly underwhelmed compared to what we were expecting. Room was perfectly nice but not special, and bathroom/shower average. Unfortunately the offer they promote about discounts for 20 neighbouring hotels, and the free drink, isn’t an available unless you book direct. Check in was brief and to the point, no additional info. Breakfast looked good though we didn’t have it included so went to nice places nearby instead. Margot restaurant opposite was a great dinner choice.

My first day was as a solo traveller; the cafe was welcoming and a nice place to sit with a glass of wine and a book before exploring. The room was modern and clean with lush towels and toiletries. Perfectly Chic and Hygge

I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The building is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and attentive as needed, and the comfort was superb. When you enter, you're greeted with the smell of fresh coffee and warm smiles. Once you get your room key, you're invited to wander up the old grand staircase, or take an elevator to your floor. Turn the key, and open the door to your temporary, hygge space. Ours was politely small, as we wanted. The bathroom was immactulate with a heated floor. Our room boasted high ceilings and a pair of down douves on the pillowtop bed. A mini snack bar under our television enticed us as we opened the curtains to soak up our view of the København streets. Would love to stay here again.

very underwhelming, standard room is very very small, cheap furniture no tea or coffee facilities in the room, the attached caffe is very noisy and can be heard in the first floor room until late at night, left stood waiting for our hotel key most evenings, the cafe was filled with office workers during the day and other non hotel guests in the evening no rally place to relax for a hotel guest. the breakfast options are extremely limited and the evening food options even more limited. I have no idea how this hotel has received the star rating it currently has.

The hotel SHOULD be lovely, but it is trying too hard to live up the Coco preferred image of being \"cool\". There is also a lack of attention to detail in service that takes away from the experience.
The big problem is that the bar/ courtyard lounge/lobby plays mendacious techo-pop every night until 10 and turns into a DJ club on Friday and Saturday. This noise makes the hotel an impossible place to relax, work, or even have a quiet sit. There is nowhere in the hotel you can go to escape the racket.
We had to keep our windows open as it was warm with no AC. This meant that we were constantly subjected to the loud cacophony which averaged 65-75 decibels on the weeknights and 85-95 (with a peak of 109 decibels) during the ”disco” weekend. Staying there one night on a weekend (or even for a few days during the week) could realistically lead to hearing damage.
Even after the bar closed, noise was a problem. We were woken up a 5 am by staff moving furniture in the courtyard and yelling back and forth. One night we were also kept awake by couples having loud sex in the courtyard –which went off and on for some time. My assumption was that local hookers were bringing customers to the courtyard for trysts, but I don’t know. I do know that the night staff were not on top of the situation (unless they were in a different sense.)
I do hope they rethink their purpose and focus on being a good hotel instead of a disco bar. In trying to be both, they are failing to be either.

Very cool and trendy hotel in a great location for restaurants, bars and more. Super easy to get to from the central train station and convenient if cycling everywhere. Loved the decor and staff were also very helpful and friendly. Only small minus was the room key system (handing in your room key every time you leave the hotel) which sometimes meant waiting at reception for someone to come along.

Coco Hotel was such a charming place! Sitting in the courtyard with a glass of wine became a favorite end of day ritual while we were there. The decor was lovely and added to the charm of the place. The bed was super comfy! There was no AC - which I forgot to check before. But, we were able to comfortably sleep with the windows open. The bathroom is pretty small - especially the shower. But, this didn't take away from our experience. The discount at restaurants around town was such a great perk and we got to take advantage of it our first night! I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely great hotel and the staff are all welcoming and friendly. The room was decorated in a quirky manor and it was very clean. The courtyard is pretty and lovely to sit in an evening. There is a DJ on till 10pm and every room has a window facing the courtyard so if you go to bed earlier than that, bring ear plugs. The one negative is the bed. Is so soft and every movement vibrates through the whole bed so something as simple as my husband scratching his leg wobbles the full mattress. Dont expect a good sleep. The hotel is really close to the train station so its idea to get from the airport.

Hotel was ok, we were given a room on the top floor which didn't have regular windows, they were tilt windows through which you can see nothing. Not fun at all since it was a happening street. Felt like being caged.
The front desk guy was so disinterested in doing his job not a pleasing guy to deal with.

Absolutely charming hotel very close to Central Station. Incredibly special staff attending to our every need, and a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the hotel building with lovely plants. This is a charming retreat from the outside world. My husband who is an insomniac, really appreciated the fact that the bedrooms face onto the quiet courtyard, and even if some don't, the road outside is not a major thoroughfare. A huge thank you for an exceptional four day stay!

Pretty hotel and very nice staff. The day time staff are better than the night time staff in terms of local knowledge. We arrived late at night, around 9.30pm and asked where we can get food, we were told everywhere is shut. But there are places to get food within 5-10minutes walk. There is also a 24hr burger king within walking distance.

The room is quite warm and there is no AC. The court yard is pretty, but usually there is music playing with bass til 10pm, so you can't really take a peaceful rest. There is no kettle or fridge in the room

Hiring of bikes is very reasonable from the hotel.

The Coco Hotel is a boutique hotel that is conveniently located about a 5-10 minute walk from the Central station and a 20 minute walk to the main shopping area, Stroget. We were able to walk it with a 5 year old but the transit was well used as well. The rooms were clean and a good size. It was 20C during the day while we were in Copenhagen so the lack of air conditioning did not bother us as the nights were cool. We booked the triple room which had a double bed and a twin sofa bed although I would say the double was more like a North American queen size so plenty of room for us. There was no mini fridge and storage which was disappointing. The ping pong room on the 5th floor was fun and the happy hour from 5-6 pm was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included and it was definitely worth it, although note that it’s across the street at the Delphine restaurant. Food was delicious! If you are sensitive to noise, it does get a little noisy from passing by firetrucks/ambulances and late night people chatting loudly on the street if you are facing the Main Street. Otherwise, just the normal traffic sounds of a city. We were on the 4th floor and did not hear any noise from the music downstairs.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

We made a booking for a Junior Suite through Expedia months ago to ensure sufficient space and comfort for our trip here to Copenhagen. Upon check in on June 11th, we were informed that there had been a mistake and that we would need to move to a different room for the last night of our booking. Although annoyed, we were understanding of the issues that sometimes come up with busy weeks and online bookings. We were assured by your desk agent that the room we were to spend the beginning of our stay in was bigger than what we had booked, and that the last night would be spent in a junior suite, as we had paid for. When we arrived in our room, it was obvious that this was in fact not bigger than the junior suite. When we emailed the desk to ask about this, we were informed that we were currently in a family suite. This was not true, as we discovered on your website. The room that we were in was in fact one of your larger double rooms. On our last day, we had to pack up all of our belongings to move to the Junior Suite, which, upon seeing it, is definitely a major step up from the room we have spent the last few nights in. Understandably, we are disappointed to have been shuffled around and to have stayed in a smaller, less luxurious room for our stay.

The room was not comfortable for sitting and reading no overhead lights. No mini refrigerator .The bed was excellent and bedding. The bathroom was clean but no storage. The room had no storage, very limited TV. If you are staying a day or two and not spending time in the room it’s great but for a week stay I would not recommend. Excellent location to restaurants and train. The staff was excellent and friendly, restaurant food very good.

If there was one downside, I'd say the windows may need more double glazing as being a weekend stay, and street facing, it was a little noisier than hoped. But all in all, a lovely stay!

The people who worked were very nice. Our room was beside the elevator and there was no mention of a VIP upgrade or any benefit to Expedia member. The hotel has a great location and unique relationship with the many restaurants it owns. When paying by plastic, (in my case a debit card -tiny processing fees) I was charged a significant fee by their processor - they mention that they do not charge more- bottom line- its a piss off as I was not charged this \"fee\" anywhere else DM. Regardless, the place is situated nicely and the people are helpfull.

Big disappointment. I should have listened to the negative reviews . The only thing going for this hotel was its location and close proximity to the train station. Bathroom had mold, staff was not friendly at all especially the male receptionist, elevator didn’t feel safe , carpets were old and dirty. It really didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel . Will not recommend .

This is a cute boutique hotel in a convenient location but the service was pretty terrible. My husband literally cut his foot on a piece of broken glass in our room. Then the shower flooded the bathroom so we were unable to use it for the night. The shower was fixed the next day and bandaids were offered but beyond that, we were not offered any sort of compensation. A clean room and functioning bathroom should be baseline, esp at a nice boutique hotel??

I absolutely loved Coco Hotel. They gave me a room upgrade and it was spacious and had a little outdoor patio. The breakfast at Delphine was delicious, and the cafe inside the hotel was perfect for both working and relaxing. The staff were lovely and I loved the surrounding neighborhood. Definitely recommend this gem of a hotel!

Stayed at Coco Hotel for 5 nights during a solo trip. Always felt safe and comfortable in my room. I had a 3rd floor room facing the street which had pretty views and was only loud on Saturday night (lots of foot traffic and fireworks at nearby Tivoli) aside from the occasional scream from passersby. Got a little warm at times but the windows open so no problem! Bed was very cozy. Shower was a little challenging as water splashed all over the room but evaporated quickly. Shower curtain was a little orange at the bottom? One thing to note about the keys - you do leave them with the front desk every time you leave and ask for them every time you return. On one hand this is annoying for introverts but you do feel safe because nobody can just walk in and go upstairs without checking in first. Overall a great stay and very walkable to Tivoli, the train station, and nearby shopping.

Beautiful hotel, thoughtfully decorated.

A couple of little touches in the room could have used additional attention. The prices for the mini bar were missing (only a room service menu was present), and there was no coffee facilities and it was unclear when drinks were coming available via room service as the menu we had listed snacks and drinks and appeared to be from 12pm onwards.

Unfortunately, we requested a bath but the bath plug didn’t work to retain water so we were unable to use this on our trip.

Staff were kind at check-in and check-out, the coffee from the area at reception was good, and the courtyard was beautiful. We’d definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Coco Hotel. Our room (a family room) was spacious, comfortable beds, air conditioning so we could adjust the temperature, nice bathroom, and it was equipped with a PlayStation which the kids were pleased with. The staff were pleasant and helpful, we asked various things including how to work a couple of things in the room and whether we could have some tea making facilities (as unfortunately they don't seem to come as standard) and they were very happy to help. The main disadvantage was that breakfast was very expensive, so we made other arrangements. The street that the hotel is on is not very appealing, big and busy, but it's not that bad and it's 5-10 mins from the central station which was useful.

We were a bit taken back by the shabbiness and dangerous building design. Here are just a few hazards: Steps up to bathroom (elderly mother falling onto the floor thinking she could walk into the bathroom), steps to get into the second building, frayed edged rugs in the cafe (almost tripping), steps over and down to enter courtyard and need to step over door frame required to enter room. The service was inconsistent and our room wasn't cleaned the first day even though we asked the front desk and came back in the late afternoon. The receptionist,that we originally met was edgy and had us pull our baggage to the luggage hold, refused to check us in and held us up from check-in until almost 3pm even though we were suffering from jet lag.
Of course there were two or three helpful people. Unfortunately, for some reason the switchboard operator tried to refuse to send up a call from my sister. A man intervened and gave us the call. We never knew who we would be dealing with. Management was missing.

The aesthetics and design of this hotel are so well thought out. I loved the attention to detail, and courtyard with live music nightly till 10pm. The buzz was wonderful and I loved the affiliations with other great businesses. I also loved the bike rentals - perfect for blitzing around town!

Great location! The staff is excellent! Great coffee and wine available from the coffee shop in the lobby. Junior suites are perfect for one person. They miss a desk and a sofa. The housekeeping service wasn’t the best. I would have expected better.

The hotel is located where it’s convenient to go anywhere. The room was not very big but cozy and clean. Staffs were friendly.
The only thing I was disappointed was shower. Water pressure was very weak. It may depends on which floor you stay at.
Anyway overall was great!

Convenient walk from the train station/metro hub in a trendy and fun neighborhood. Lovely cafe and private courtyard where people gather in the evenings. Charming rooms, stylish decor, comfortable beds. My room faced the back and was so peaceful. It was also next to the elevator but I never once heard it.

This is a lovely friendly hotel, although there are some unusual features such as having to take breakfast at a restaurant across the road. The hotel offers a free glass of wine every day at 5pm which is great. Our junior suite was clean and tidy but not luxurious, actually a little sparse. The staff at reception and at the cafe under the hotel were excellent.

The staff was very helpful! Great restaurant recommendations, ordering cabs, mailing postcards. And the complimentary cocktail hour was very nice! The room was def a little warm at nights & I would have appreciated hair conditioner & body lotion in the room. Overall, a very nice stay & would recommend to friends!

Wonderful stay at Coco Hotel! Our top (5th) floor triple room was great for our family of three, with the extra bed being larger than a twin. Beds were comfortable and bathroom with walk-in shower was large. Staff very nice and accommodating! We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour in the hotel’s cafe. Elevator was always available, too. Highly recommend Coco Hotel!
