We had a great stay as a young family. apartment was very spacious, easy to find, close to transport into the city centre and fitted out with everything you need for a short stay. There are some lovely coffee shops and bakeries around the area, and close to grocery shops. The staff at check in and check out were efficient and friendly. Only small complaint is the TV was advertised as a smart TV, but only offered digital channels.

Our family loved the heated floors and the kitchen! The beds were so cozy. We were only .2 miles from the metro and could be anywhere within the city in minutes. We loved having access to the gym and took to the danish cold plunge/sauna experience right out our apt. Loved being on the canal and only 1.5 miles to the Little Mermaid statue, where I ran to daily. If I come to Denmark again, I will definitely stay here!

Our time at STAY Nordhavn was fantastic. The property itself is stylish, modern, and comfortable. The 3-bedroom apartment we stayed in was full of every modern amenity you can think of, including a wrap-around balcony with views of the water.

The walk to the nearest metro was easy, and there are plenty of shops and cafes nearby.

We would definitely return to STAY Nordhavn on our next trip to Copenhagen.

Nice but no AC

The weather was hot there and unfortunately there was no AC. When we opened the balcony doors, it was a lot cooler but flies would come in. The property was clean and quiet. It was a short walk to the metro and grocery store. Overall it was a nice place to stay at.

The property is located on a beautiful canal. Just a 2-minutes walk to the metro (or you can take a scenic boat ride to the center, for the same price). The apartment was large, recently updated, and had all needed amenities. The staff is very helpful and delightful to talk to. I would definitely stay there again.

Super Loud!

Property was very nice, however our 3 bedroom was literally hanging over the metro rail that came by every 4 minutes. It was ok when windows were shut, however it got super hot with windows shut since none of the apartments have A/C. We tried earplugs and other options but nothing worked. We were there 5 nights and basically were only at the apartment to sleep, but it was so loud it was so unbearable. We asked to be moved to another unit twice but were unsuccessful and honestly the front management didn’t seem to care.

Lovely clean, spacious and modern 3 bed apartment. Very comfortable beds and lovely bathroom with plenty of clean towels. Close to metro station and supermarket. The only downside was that it was hot during our visit and the apartment was very hot, like a greenhouse at 30 degrees, fans are privided in every room. Our apartment backed onto the metro line so there was some noise in one of the bedrooms as the metros run every few minutes all through the night. Take an eyemask and earplugs if youre a light sleeper.

We had a beautiful view of ships going by and saw people enjoying the saunas and canals. Restaurants and grocery stores were nearby plus it was near a Metro stop and a Harbor Bus stop. We used both extensively. It is a growing area so there was some noise from the new apartments being built, but it was okay. The staff was available and helpful.

Loved the apartment! The blankets were tiny! This may be common in the area. I would recommend bringing a blanket for your stay, as the provided blanket barely covered the twin.
Great access to water for dipping. There were some nice amenities, but we didn’t realize we had access to them right away, so I wish there would have been more communication about that. (Bikes for rental, free fitness room, cafe onsite, etc.)

Absolutely loved this property one of the best apt style rentals I have ever stayed in. Very walkable, clean, lovely residential area with food & grocery near by. Bed was comfortable & all the amenities for cooking, etc were great in the kitchen. While there is construction in the area we had no noise issues (although could be paused due to winter months). Would stay again! 5 out 5 stars for sure.

Clean, warm apartment with friendly staff. The room we had was facing the train tracks and road, so a bit noisey. We were there for 5 nights, but had our cleaning day on the last night. It would have been nice for washing powder and cleaning wipes to be used during our stay. The staff are very warm and friendly.

It was nice but the area has so much construction going on. Our room had clothes in the laundry from previous guests. The master bedroom overheated from the Sun in the morning and loud noises echoed and woke up guests with windows opened. The lobby concierges were new but they were kind. The area around is really nice, the marina and all but just needs more and to finish road work.

We had a fantastic time. Accommodation was perfect for us. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Lovely out on the balcony watching people swimming in the (very cold) water.
Really close to metro stop. Several supermarkets nearby. The children really liked the rooftop playground which we spotted from the balcony.

We loved our time at Stay Nordhavn. It's conveniently close to a metro station and several grocery stores, the apartment has lovely rooms, amenities to make very comfortable (good coffee, a washer/dryer, decent kitchenware, etc.), and the staff was always friendly and accommodating. Most of all, the access to a generously-sized balcony with amazing sea views was wonderful. We would happily stay here again.

New and comfortable 3 bedroom but only 1 bathroom for 4 people. Located near metro station. Only issue was the heating is in floor and was set to high for this time of year. Tried to turn it down but did not cool down in the 3 days there. Lots of restaurants near by. But book as very busy.

Very good professional run property. The apartment is well furnished with very good appliances, laundry machine, clean and very adequate for a couple. Several grocery stores are minutes by walking away. Metro and S bahn stations are 5 minutes away. By metro the airport is 30 minutes away Regional train station and downtown in 15 minutes away. The Apartments are right on the canal (ask for apartment facing the canal). Weather permitting, many swimmers, of all abilities, in the canal. The only consideration might be a lack of AC, but given the immediate proximity to the Baltic probably a consideration one or two days of the year.

The apartment was very nice and large, but there happened to be some very loud construction noise, not just the new board walk being built in front of the apartment, but also a new building getting the foundations put in one pilar at a time hammering the pilar until it couldn't go further. We were not warned by the property and the cost seemed the same regardless. One last issue was that there was no air conditionning just fans, we were lucky it was a Danish summer, because even though the temperatures outside weren't that high, the temperature inside the apartment was pretty high...but we couldn't really leave the windows open, because of the noise. Overall, it would have been perfect, if construction wasn't there and we could open the windows to cool down the place.

Only negative about the apartment was that they do not clean for 4 days. Travelling with kids can be challenging without any housekeeping. Also there is no telephone in the room to contact guest services. You have to go down to them even if you need a towel.

There were two sides to our stay. Inside the apartment is extremely well equipped, modern, nice and clean. The area around the building though is all under development and under construction. The taxi was looking around for 10-15 minutes as his GPS didn’t show the property. Construction is going on from 7am to 7pm. If you’re given a unit on the first floor like us, you should know that drilling and lumber cutting and the loud music of the construction workers will be with you all day. And the hotel won’t do anything since “the construction is not related to us”. Hopefully, in a few months when all these constructions are over, this will be a nice place to stay, until then though…

Superb location and beautiful property—a must!

Superb property in a terrific location if you’re hanging out in Copenhagen for several days with adult children. A value for the spaciousness and facilities—kitchen, washer/dryer, balcony. Three stops on the Metro from center city and one stop from Østerport where you can pick up suburban trains to other locales outside of Copenhagen— Roskilde and Louisiana Museum, even train to Malmo, Sweden. Located in a rehabilitated Navy Yard, this quiet neighborhood has chic bakeries, restaurants and residential living spaces. The water shuttle, part of metro system and takes standard metro tickets, is at your back door—another fun option to traverse Copenhagen.

We booked a one bedroom unit and had a wonderful stay. The unit was very comfortably furnished and was perfect for our 5 day visit to Copenhagen. It is a 5 minute walk from the metro and it was very easy to transport around the city, and there are several grocery stores nearby. Nordhavn itself is quite a nice area - we also went for several walks in the neighbourhood! I would note that there is ongoing construction outside the building during weekdays - not an issue if you are planning (like us) on being out all day but could be an issue if you were planning to work in the unit during the day or had a small child who needed to nap. The noise is not bad with the windows closed but we were on the 4th floor and it was simply too hot on sunny days to keep the windows closed during the day if when we were staying. Also if you are planning to use the laundry facilities, they don’t provide laundry detergent (or even sell it) so you will need to buy it locally or bring it with you.

Great family stay

Great stay. Really well equipt apartment with everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to metro station, 2 min walk to Meny supermarket and 5 min walk to Lidl/Netto. Also walking distance to a few bars/restaurants. Only downside was the apartment got really warm especially at night. Due to the proximity to train track got noisy with doors open. Also there is alot of construction happening around the site, it didnt impeded on our stay as we were out all day but if a nice view or quiet time on your balcony is important to you then you would be disappointed. Overall we had a brilliant stay, loads of room for our family of 5, perfect location with eveything we needed in the apartment and local area.

The apartment was lovely, spacious, well stocked & very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a Meny shop about 2 minutes walk and a Lidl about 5 minutes walk. Super aparthotel, super location for trains/metro and for walking. There is quite alot of building work going on around the hotel but we only noticed the noise after the Easter weekend break and as we were out most of the day exploring it didn’t affect us too much. Would definitely stop in a Stay aparthotel again - highly recommend

The only thing is that it can get a bit warm in there since there is no air-con in the buildings. The fans do help though!

The apartment was extremely spacious and finished to an extremely high standard. The kitchen and bathrooms were lovely. The bedrooms and living room each have floor to ceiling windows along one wall, and the master bedroom and living area have a large balcony. The metro station, water bus station, supermarket, harbour swimming area and a selection of cafes and restaurants are close by.

There was construction work in the immediate area when we stayed (August 2023) which seems likely to continue for some time. The noise was noticeable but did not impact our enjoyment of the property.

What a gorgeous property! We rented a 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom apartment and it was huge and beautiful. A great place for families. The kitchen comes well stocked in cooking utensils. The grocery store is only 1 block away and the metro is a few blocks away. Local restaurants are a 5-10 min walk. The front staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back. The only negative is that there is no air condition and that there is noisy construction next door.

There is so much construction going on that there is no peace and quiet. The property itself is really nice and the staff are also really nice. The room was beautiful and clean. The washer/dryer was just okay. It really didn't do a good job of cleaning and took forever to dry clothes. I just finally hung the clothes to dry on the provided rack. The is a MENY about a 5 minute walk and an Aldi about a 10 minute walk from the property. The Aldi was lacking in many things & the MENY is a little pricey, but is well stacked.

Just what we needed!

A clean, comfortable, well-equiped apartment with in-room laundry. It is within walking distance to a plethora of dining, grocery, and other food options (three grocery stores within two blocks!).

Lots of building in the area right now (June 2023) so there was a bit of construction noise (sometimes starting earlier in the morning) and less than stellar views from some of the rooms.

Thomas at the front desk was great at check-in. He was friendly, helpful, and had great suggestions when needed. The check-in and check-out processes were fast and painless.

Unfortunately, we were in Copenhagen during a warmer than usual week (24-26°C) and the one small fan in the room did little to alleviate the heat.

That said, it was a great experience in an excellent establishment... Highly recommended!!

The property is very new so it was very modern and clean with floor to ceiling windows. It is located in an area that is going through a massive regeneration so there is a lot of construction going on but don't let that put you off.
The area has great transport links so you can be in central Copenhagen in about 10 minutes and the metro runs 24 hours a day so it's also very easy to get to and from the airport.
You've also got a number of super markets and restaurants right on your door step and we particularly enjoyed eating ice cream by the harbour side
