This aparthotel sits on the outskirts of the charming Elsinore, a short distance from Hamlet's world-famous Kronborg Castle. Sweden is just a 20-minute ferry ride away.

Location is away from anything in a semi-industrial area. Check in was frustrating as clerk couldn’t provide a credit card option, kept asking for a PIN so we had to finally use a debit card. The pictures were much better than the reality. The lobby and breakfast area were fine but the room was pretty shabby. The blinds wouldn’t close, the bed was uncomfortable, overall just dated and tired. The hotel is in an industrial area so weird vibe and no services nearby.

We made our reservation four months in advance for a room and when we arrived they put us in an area under renovation that we couldn’t park the car and they were making the work on a Sunday at 8am!!! Impossible to sleep! Also, they put us in a room for only 2 people and they left reception at 6pm, so we couldn’t get extra towels and bed sheets! In was a very bad experience in the overall…wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back ever!!!

Had a 2 night stay in this US style motel. Check in was fine and you can park right up to your front door. Had an end room which was very basic and in desperate need of updating. Cloth chairs were black on the arms due to age and use and curtains needed washing. Bathroom was ok and shower was fine. Breakfast in reception area was very good with both hot and cold options and replenished regularly. Main issue we had was the fact that the room was so hot during the night. Front door was propped open until dark but still stifling hot. Only ventilation is via windows which can’t be left open as ground floor rooms As mentioned in other reviews, the walls are very thin and noise could be an issue depending on who’s either next to you or behind. If you’re looking for a 1 night budget stay with a great breakfast then this hotel is for you. However, I think I’d rather pay slightly more for a few creature comforts and a more updated room.

The property is in good condition and has free parking by the rooms. Helsingør is a few km away, where there are numerous restaurants and nice scenery. The staff was very helpful and provided a list of dining options with their addresses. The breakfast in the hotel was very good. One drawback is that there is no air conditioning, so it could be warm in the room.

Vores værelse var beskidt, der var både støv i vindueskarmene og der var fodspor på gulvet og møg beskidt. Det var tydeligt at der ikke var gjort rent inden vi kom. Vi havde bestilt morgenmad på hotellet, dette kunne de ikke levere grundet strømafbrydelse, dette har vi ikke fået melding om førend vi selv stod der og kunne læse det på et skilt i receptionen. Receptionisten var ikke til megen hjælp, når man spurgte ind til morgenmaden vidste hun det ikke og man får bare af vide at man skal skrive til hotellet, men hun var ikke behjælpelig med hver telefonnummer eller mailadresse. Der står en infotavle på værelset med receptionens åbningstider, da vi kom op til receptionen for at ville se om vi var heldige at der var morgenmad var der låst, dette er altså 45 min efter der akulle være åbnee i receptionen… dårlig service og dårlig rengøring. Vi havde heldigvis kun 1 overnatning.

I found this hotel when looking for a place to stay under our Louisiana Museum visit. Everything in Denmark is so expensive so this hotel was a gem. Convenient with parking lot and the service is impeccable, with a very friendly and service-minded receptionist called Jacob. The only con was the cleanliness of the bathroom - this could definitely be improved. Besides that, we were happy with our stay.

Manglende lydisolering mellem værelserne. Man kunne høre selv hvisken fra naboværelset. Elendige og bløde senge. Intetsigende morgenmad hvor blødkogte æg var hårdkogte og udvalget af frugt, pålæg og ost var tarveligt. Ikke et sted for personer der ikke spiser svinekød, da al pålæg og de to varme emner var svin. Det eneste positive jeg kan sige om hotellet er at man kan parkere lige ude foran døren til værelset.

The room was spacious and clean, and I was delighted with the complimentary coffee and tea.

When booking, the pictures did not match the reality. The room is very hot in the summer and there is no air conditioner or fan. When I contacted customer service, the response was that we cannot do anything for you. I do not recommend staying at all.
