The breakfast was the let down , there was more people than tables at breakfast and the items for breakfast was not great and poor presentation. Items were not replaced on a regular basis ie no cold milk meats not refilled etc.

In general It is a good Hotel

It is a good Hotel but whenever you come back to the room smells strange like old and cigar but in general it is a good hotel. Another peculiar thing that I found was that I could not to keep the key to the hotel every time that you out you have to give them the keys.
But the staff is kind and helpful.

Great hotel for a low price, situated with in walking distance of all the main sites.
Rooms were air conditioned and clean, beds were comfy staff were more than helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was good and the takeaway pizza shop up the road was cheap and good quality.

We booked this hotel because of the description given, which stated that it is close to Brignoli train station and within walking distance to the main attractions of Genova. Although this is true, be prepared to do some serious walking, even if you're planning on accessing the public bus system. I need to also mention that the walk from Brignoli train station to the hotel is all uphill. My son and I are fairly fit and the walk to the hotel with our luggage was not fun. They have free parking for about five or six cars. So if you're on a budget and are travelling by car, this hotel could be good for you. You will have to take a taxi if you're arriving from the larger, Central train station. Our cab ride to the Genova airport was about 20 EUR. The best part about this hotel is the friendly staff and the bar. These guys know how to make your favourite type of coffee with the cafe' style machine. Breakfast is fresh daily with hard boiled eggs, the Genovese focaccia, pastries, toast, cereals, fruit etc. The wireless can be frustrating. It was very intermittent in the room and you need to ask for a new password often, but this is typical in most small scale hotels in Italy. If you've never been to Genova, try not to wonder in the narrow alleys in the city at night. It can be somewhat uncomfortable. having said that, Genova is a fabulous city within close proximity to some of the best beaches on the Liguria Coast, great history, art and architecture.

We had to move the bed to the wall to secure it since we were traveling with a 8 month old and they didn't have a baby crib. When we moved the bed we realized the dust on the corners of the carpet. The carpet is hard to maintain, so if you own a hotel and you won't be able to keep it clean, you shouldn't have carpets. The furniture is old looking and ugly. But the location is quite central. We used our car to get around, it only took minutes to reach most of the main attractions.

GOOD: Just a few minutes walk into the main city; friendly and helpful staff; great breakfast. BAD: no lift; room a little sparse. OVERALL: Of course it's not perfect, it's a budget hotel. But great value for money and I'd definitely stay there again.

just one night stay when I drove through Genoa. room is big, clean and comfortable. the hotel is located at a busy street. no enough parking space and I have to park in a commercial garage a few hundred meters away. wireless internet signal was weak.

I was initially disappointed with the room as it was very basic and a bit tired looking. The shower was hopeless as the hose was leaking and the spray head was blocked. I reported this the next morning and when I returned in the evening it had been fixed so I was pleased with this. The hotel is close enough to the city attractions and, like everywhere in Genoa, it is near the top of a hill. I was in the city for three nights and this hotel was a reasonable base with a comfortable bed. What a difference it would have made if the room had a kettle and some teabags. On reflection, I would stay here again if my favourite hotel was fully booked, all I need to do is book my next trip earlier to make sure that doesn't happen.

convenient to Genoa tourist sites

The hotel was perfect for my purposes which was easy access to the city centre and the main train stations. The staff were polite people and everything was well organised; check in, check out, ordering taxis etc. The room was small, comfortable and functional with a clean ensuite bathroom.

We had a short, but great stay. The hotel staff were amazing and extremely helpful.
They helped us with all our transportation needs. They explained how to get to and from the train station, which was very easy. There were bus stops just outside the hotel and were an easy trip to the train stations.
If you know anything about Italian streets, you know it is not easy to get around without (or even with) a GPS. The staff gave us easy directions to get to the airport to drop off our car and we were able to get there without getting lost!
The breakfast was simple but enough and they served great coffee.
The room was small, but no different from European standards. It was clean and more than enough for our needs.

Don’t trust the advertising

Specifically booked this hotel as it was advertised as free parking. On arrival we were told parking was limited and you had to reserve. As a result we had to pay for an over night park further away. This is false advertising on behalf of the property and booking site.

L’Hotel si trova in una posizione strategica, sembra appena ristrutturato, le camere sono molto pulite. Nota dolente la pessima esperienza con il personale della reception. Siamo stati sempre accolti con freddezza e senza un sorriso, tanto che sembrava stessimo disturbando. Il personale sembrava svogliato, l’impressione generale è stata quella di un servizio clienti poco professionale e non all'altezza degli standard che un hotel dovrebbe offrire. Un sorriso e un atteggiamento cordiale sono fondamentali, soprattutto al primo impatto, e qui sono mancati completamente. Speriamo che l'hotel prenda sul serio queste critiche per migliorare l'esperienza dei prossimi ospiti.

Dall'esterno ci saremmo aspettati un due stelle da due lire, poi invece dentro era accogliente, senza pretese per quanto riguarda la reception e la sala della colazione, ma sopra il livello del due stelle per la stanza. Il bagno era cieco ma accogliente, moderno e pulito col box doccia rigido.
Il parcheggio interno, pagato a parte, era come giocare a Tetris, ma a quanto mi dice un'amica genovese è difficile trovarne in città.

Ho scelto questo hotel sia per la vicinanza al luogo di lavoro sia per la possibilità di parcheggio.
Chiaro che per 50E con colazione non si può pretendere, ma qualcosa di meglio si poteva avere.
La camera era grande ma sul lato strada e al primo piano, quindi la mattina presto era rumorosa con i doppi vetri. Dato la dimensione era piuttosto fredda. Il bagno piuttosto piccolo, ma il problema era la doccia. Il soffione praticamente ostruito per cui la poca acqua che usciva era ad una pressione folle. Faceva male alla pelle. La colazione discreta. Il personale cordiale e disponibile.

Hotel a due passi dal centro storico

Ho trascorso un fine settimana a Genova e l'hotel è in una bella zona non lontana dal centro storico. La camera era un po datata ma confortevole e pulita e nonostante si affacciasse sulla strada non ho sentito rumori grazie ai doppi vetri. Il personale è stato molto cortese e disponibile. Lo consiglio dato il buon rapporto qualità - posizione - prezzo.

Séjour moyen en gross modo . Le réceptionniste nous a demandé de laisser la clef de la chambre en partant manger en dehors de l hôtel ce qui est pas normal du tout . Chambre spacieuse mais il manque le confort . Matelas très vielles et parking payant soit disant 10€ la nuit !!

Laute Straße, Zimmer zum Hof ruhig aber nur ein Fenster zum Schacht (merkwürdige Gerüche und Geräusche vom Fahrstuhl des Nachbarhauses). Zimmer sehr einfach eingerichtet und nicht sehr einladend. Frühstück sehr einfach nur der Kaffee gut.

propietario è staff gentilissimo, ubicazione vicinissima dal centro, e con fermata del bus a soli 20 metri. per il parcheggio dato che nell'hotel ce poco posto ho lasciato la macchina in un garage convenzionato vicino l'hotel con € 10,00 al giorno, prezzo giusto, visto che a Genova i parcheggi sono a € 2,50 l'ora, pulizia buona ed anche la colazione non era male, quando ritorno a Genova saro felice di soggiornarvi di nuovo, spero presto....

Un seul le parking: il est précisé qu'il faut le payer en plus mais pas qu'il faut confier ses clefs à un monsieur qui ne parle qu'italien dans une ruelle derrière l'hôtel. Quand nous avons expliqué que nous avions une voiture de location et que nous ne voulions pas laisser nos clefs, on nous a simplement dit qu'il n'y avait comme solution que la rue (à 2,50€ de l'heure).... j'aurais presque laissé mes clefs si une petite affichette à la réception ne déclinait toute responsabilité sur le parking.... Bref j'ai préféré payer le parcmètre plus cher. Heureusement que la chambre n'était pas trop chère

Chambres simples mais confortables, belle salle de bains très propre, - il a deux lignes de bus qui s'arrêtent devant l'hôtel et on est à 5 minutes du centre historique, des deux gares - à pied environ 10 minutes du centre - le personnel est très présent et agréable - petit déjeuner simple mais suffisant - nous avons été très satisfaites et si nous revenons à Gènes, nous reprendrons des chambres dans cet hôtel.

Abbiamo pernottato solo una notte in questo albergo. La camera grande e pulita. Colazione a buffet buona. Buona posizione per visitare la zona dell acquario. Ha un piccolo parcheggio davanti all albergo. Bisogna lasciare le chiavi alla reception.

In posizione ideale per chi non vuole essere nel caos del centro cittadino, ma vicinissimo ad esso. Personale cordiale e disponibile, colazione abbondante anche se non c'è una colazione salata con affettati e formaggi. La struttura presenta camere ristrutturate e dotate di ogni comfort.

Albergo vicino al centro

Abbastanza vicino alla stazione, a piedi un pò faticoso da raggiungere, per la salita, ma tutto sommato discreto, buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Semplice ma accogliente

Hotel modesto ma funzionale per le mie esigenze. Tutto il personale si e' dimostrato gentile e premuroso anche nel soddisfare le mie richieste (deposito
bagaglio oltre il check-out - chiamata di un taxi)

Só se não encontrar outro hotel

Recepção e atendimento ruins, hotel antigo, não tem elevador, café da manhã fraco. Só vale a pena se tiver por um preço pechincha. Deve-se considerar ainda o preço do estacionamento, cobrado à parte e distante do hotel. Mesmo com o estacionamento dentro do hotel vazio, não nos deixaram estacionar o carro ali.
