In the city so parking is difficult. The hotel starts on the 3rd floor so either go up many stairs or wait for an elevator that only fits 2 people. Room was small and loud.

A lovely stay

Everything was great thanks. The breakfast guy was outstanding. I think his name was Matteo He managed the check in and all the breakfasts at the same time- he never stopped. We were so impressed. I hope he’s paid well because he earns it!

No parking close the property.
The building is not dedicated to the hotel, so
you have to get to certain floor to find the lobby. Not usual the usual setup. The elevator 1 person and two suitcases.
Its nice location but is not comparable to a regular hotel.

Very good hotel located near Brignole train station, Vola bus service and city bus transportation. Safe location, front door always locked with key access. You do have to be buzzed in to get through the second set of doors and that’s only available until midnight. Not sure what happens if you stay out later than that, so make sure you are prepared. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was on a street side. And the building has an elevator. Good value for the money.

Difficile à trouver et mauvais service….

Nous avions réservé cet hôtel pour la simple raison que selon la description, il devait y avoir un stationnement sur place, il était bien situé au centre-ville et les photos sur le site étaient magnifiques… Il faut comprendre que la photo de la devanture n’est pas l’hôtel en entier.. L’hôtel occupe une PARTIE de l’immeuble… J’ai réussi à entrer dans l’immeuble (porte barrée) en suivant une personne qui avait une clé…Mais aucune indication nulle part…L’endroit est difficile d’accès car aucun espace pour mettre la voiture afin de décharger les valises… Et en plus… L’hôtel est très difficile à trouver car l’enseigne extérieure est petite et ne dis pas où aller dans l’immeuble.. J’ai du téléphoner afin de savoir où était exactement la réception et où nous pouvions stationner.. Tout ça pour me faire dire que puisqu’il était plus de 20h( en fait il était 19h52.. Nous avions tourné en rond pendant plus de 15 minutes car aucune annonce de l’hôtel visible de la rue) il n’y avait personne pour nous indiquer où mettre la voiture, que nous devions aller à un stationnement dont je n’ai pas compris le nom, que je n’avais qu’à faire Google pour le trouver et me faire raccrocher la ligne au nez…
Nous avons passé notre chemin et sommes allés au Bristol Palace… Effectivement plus dispendieux, mais l’accueil et le service est aussi une priorité lorsque nous allons dans les hôtels.. Ce qui n’a malheureusement pas été le cas à l’hôtel Genova Liberty lors de notre tentative pour y séjourner.

This was my second stay at Hotel Liberty Genova, and I thoroughly enjoyed both visits! The hotel is housed in a stunning early 20th century building, and still has an original cage elevator - which adds a lot of charm! The setup doesn’t make the place feel like a hotel; rather, I felt like I was staying in a classy apartment building. The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. And the location couldn’t be better … it’s on one of the main shopping streets, and a short walk from the Genova
Brignole train station, Piazza de Ferrari and the Centro Storico (historic center). Lots of good restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk. Great value. Highly recommended!

Elevator is old fashioned and did not work when we arrived but they got it working pretty quickly. Carried our bags up 4 flights of stairs as the hotel is on floor 3 and 4. Staff is amazing; very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was 9 euro and was a great deal.

Although the hotel is quite small, the space is used very well. Especially during the coronavirus restrictions we were very happy with how the staff handled the situation and with the additional safety measures taken.

We particularly like the old feel. architecture, the unique lifts. Although period in outlook the hotel itself has been modernised and is cosy. Breakfast is served but seems the same every morning accept a couple of tarts. We think sound-proofing could have been improved somewhat. We could accept traffic and noise from outside as the hotel is beside the main road, hence traffic noise is inevitable but noise from footsteps upstairs can be annoying especially at 3am in the morning!

A gem in a beautiful city.

A boutique hotel right in the heart of the city and a short stroll to Ferrari Square. The hotel is warm comfortable and the staff very helpful, also the breakfast is fantastic. I didn't know continental breakfast could be so comprehensive. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were always bright and cheerful.

Marvelouus small hotel with real personality, friendly and helpful staff. It’s also an incredible deal - we had an apartment with high ceilings, a well equipped kitchen, modern bath and a spacious bedroom. All the modern comforts in a beautiful old building with a grand facade, marble staircases, and a very cool antique lift. Breakfast was bountiful and excellent.

Hidden gem in a good area of Genoa!

I thought this was a great little boutique hotel, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is in an old office building that is in the process of being renovated. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and historical buildings nearby. Very close to the Genoa Brignole train station (not the main train station.) Don't miss the nearby Oriental market, full of many Italian delicacies. Highly recommend this hotel!

We were extremely pleased with this hotel! It's located on the 4th floor of a beautiful old building. The lift is small and antique, but very charming. We were greeted and cheked in by \"Miro\" who was very friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English. Our room looked as though it had been recently renovated. Very nice! The breakfast was good featuring meats, cheeses, cereal, yogurts, juices, many pastries, coffee (espresso machine), teas, fresh fruits, toaster, and microwave. We felt is a very good breakfast. The shower is small, but nice. Plenty of hot water and great towels. We were told the hotel will soon be rated a 3 star hotel...and well deserved. It's an easy walk to the city center and port area. One a scale from 1 to 10, we'd give them a 15! Extremely well worth staying there.

Clean and comfortable hotel on the 4th floor that takes up the whole side of a huge building on one of Genoa's main streets. Street/Bar noise may be an issue on weekends (we stayed on a Saturday night) but thankfully this died out around 12.30am allowing us a good nights sleep.
Good and plentiful cold buffet breakfast.

Hotel Genova - you'll like your stay

The room was clean and the breakfast was very good and diverse - they even had brie cheese as part of the breakfast. A little bit hard to find the place, and it's on the 4th floor, but overall the stay was very good.

The surrounding area is OK, some run down areas, but that didn't take away from the overall experience.

The room had a very cool painted ceiling and it was very clean. There was even a free wine bottle and a water bottle waiting for us as we arrived.

Le camere gradevolmente arredate necessitano comunque di revisione.
La camera 12, una tripla molto spaziosa, con soffitto affrescato, letto molto comodo, ha il bagno senza finestra dal quale proviene dalle tubature un intenso odore di fognatura (forse dovuto ai lavori di ristrutturazione al piano inferiore). La camera 10, una suite tripla con salottino e angolo cottura, pulita e luminosa, ha il termosifone che emette forti rumori fastidiosi al momento dell'accensione centralizzata programmata (cioè al mattino molto presto). Detto questo, il mio giudizio resta positivo, ci ritornerei e lo consiglio

Honestly one of the best stay i ever has in my life. The hotel is beautiful and the room is big enough for two person. It is really well located, because it is of walking distance to everything. There is clim in the room and it works really well, cause sometimes we had to turn it off cause we were too cold. For me the big bonus was the lady at the desk. She works in the afternoon and she is the sweetest. When we arrived, she gave us a map and some recommendation of places to go visit or eat to (we asked for it). What sealed the deal for me is that we had problem with a delayed luggaged and she helped us by translating in italian for us and making some calls with us. She even let me borrow her charger, cause i didnt have mine. She also calles us a taxi when we needed one. You can see she cares about the people that are staying at the hotel. If i ever go back to genoa, i will come back to this hotel.
