Good size room and we had an amazing view off our balcony. Shower stall is very small and uncomfortable. The breakfast spread is incredible, but I was disappointed that the hotel bar/restaurant had a very limited menu. There were about 10 items listed but they only had 4-5 of them available.

I had a great stay in this traditional and elegant hotel. It's located a short walk from the centre of taormina with its selection of shops and restaurants. Service was good and the lounge and terrace were perfect for enjoying a drink in the afternoon. Breakfast options were extensive - i don't think I've ever had tiramasu for breakfast before.

Great hotel in an amazing hillside setting in Taormina. Most rooms have sea views which are incredible. Our room was clean and comfortable with an exterior balcony. Great breakfast. Easy 15 minute walk to the heart of the old town. The parking is limited so we would advise making arrangements with the hotel before arriving to make sure that space is reserved. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here just as much,if not more than the first time we stayed here!! All our needs were well attended to by their excellent staff. Parking was very convenient and safe. Daily breakfast selection was wonderful and varied each day!! Spectacular views from dining areas and from our room balcony of the sea, coastline and MT. Etna. Beautiful flowers everywhere. I will definitely stay here the next time we visit Taormina. The location is perfect, close to shopping and restaurants and cafes. The staff made excellent recommendations for dining in the evening and were able to secure reservations for us which was important. This hotel is perfect for restful nights! Thank you Bel Soggiorno for wonderful memories and an amazing stay!

The only thing that was difficult was the walk to the town center. It’s vertical steps and QUITE a bit. Other wise great location. Any one with any walking difficulties you might not want to stay here. Also excellent breakfast!!! We loved it!!! Highly recommend it!!! If we go back definitely would stay again.

The amazing view from our room and the dining area in the hotel was SPECTACULAR. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was ideal - the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. I was able to park my car on-site as well. The room was spacious and clean. I would and will recommend Bel Soggiorno to friends traveling to Taormina for sure!

A great little spot, about a 10/15 min walk to the centre of Taormina, reception gave us the directions on arrival which are up some steps initially. We had a lovely sea view room with a terrace, table and chairs plus two loungers. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of options and served in great setting. Staff were very friendly. On-site parking was 25 euros per day. We liked the location as it was away from the centre.

This is just beautiful stately hotel with extraordinary panoramic views stretching from the sea to Mount Etna - the view from the terraces of the sun rising over the Ionian sea is awe inspiring and well worth loosing a few hours of sleep. The rooms are austere but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the grand dining room and terraces worthy of movie stars. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the center of Taormina, where by far the best granita and brioche in Sicily is served in the ever popular Bam Bar - it will cool you body and sooth your soul.

Hotel Bel Soggiorno is in a fantastic location, close to the center of Taormina with easy access to everything. However, our room was a bit disappointing. The photos online showed ocean views, but in reality, our balcony overlooked the elevator, which was moving up and down all the time—not a pleasant view. In addition, the lunch service was very slow, which took away from the overall experience. With some improvements, this hotel could be excellent.

A beautiful stay in Toarmina
The only reason I didn’t give this hotel 5 stars is that it is quite difficult to walk to and from the hotel. There is no sidewalk and it is on a curve. Once you get to the stairs leading to the main street, it is an easy walk and very conveniently located. Also parking is limited and difficult. Other than that, it is a beautiful place. We had an amazing view of the water from Room 4 so we spent evenings on the balcony. One day there was a wedding at the hotel down the hill and the classic Italian music they played was wonderful to listen to. Breakfast was not huge but certainly enough and the patio where we ate was also beautiful. We enjoyed our 2 nights there.

Bel Soggiorno means “nice stay” in Italian, and for Hotel Bel Soggiorno, this is true but also an understatement. This is the most welcoming, pleasant, and beautiful place we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and taken care of. We arrived early but our room was ready within a few minutes and we were taken there by one of the friendly staff members. Our room opened to a terrace with a most lovely view of the sea and the hotel’s gardens below. We spent a lot of time just relaxing right there on the terrace, enjoying the view and taking in the peacefulness.
The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. What really sets this hotel apart, in additional to its prime location and the friendly staff, is the breakfast. Breakfast is included with the stay and is (without exaggeration) the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. A full spread of Sicilian foods, both sweet and savory, all homemade and all delicious. The breakfast area looks out to the sea, making the whole experience so memorable. Breakfast itself was an event to look forward to!
The man at the reception showed us a shortcut for getting into the center of town on foot (a beautiful walk that takes you right past the public garden!). The hotel is in a great location as it is quiet and looks out to the sea, but is also within walking distance to all the gems in the center of Taormina. We felt so comfortable and welcomed. We were sad to go and hope to return!

Breakfast is included with the stay and is (without exaggeration) the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. A full spread of Sicilian foods, both sweet and savory, all homemade and all delicious. The breakfast area looks out to the sea, making the whole experience so memorable. Breakfast itself was an event to look forward to!
The man at the reception showed us a shortcut for getting into the center of town on foot (a beautiful walk that takes you right past the public garden!). The hotel is in a great location as it is quiet and looks out to the sea, but is also within walking distance to all the gems in the center of Taormina. We felt so comfortable and welcomed. We were sad to go and hope to return!

Omg this property is soooo pretty. We got the room facing the ocean, the view is breathtaking! Walking to the old town is fairly easy as well. Parking is stressful, it’s very narrow and steep but he stuff help you with it. Breakfast is soooo good!

Delightful breakfast, charming decor and garden. Staff was kind enough to park our car for us so we didn’t have to navigate the steep, tight driveway. Highly recommend.

I can’t imagine a more beautiful setting than this hotel. Old world charm, ocean view rooms. Exceptional staff who treat you like royalty. It’s a 10 minute walk up hill to town of Taormina by an incredible public park. View of Mount Etna, the sea shore towns, and the sea. I would return in a minute! The breakfast was absolutely delicious. All homemade items, fantastic quiches, bruschetta and they cater to gluten free, dairy free and decaf drinks. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier here. Plus we met lovely fellow travelers there and took the local bus together up to Castlemola for a day’s outing. Recommend taking the Mount Etna tour and godfather tour too.

I loved this hotel - it is in the most beautiful spot and is such a pretty building and garden. Incredible views - and so charming - like stepping back in time. Price reflects the facilities - which are clean but a little basic - rooms very charming though and the terraces are stunning. Location is good - as long as happy to go up a set of steps - you then have a beautiful walk through the gardens to get into town.

I loved this property. It was in a very beautiful location. It's not a very convenient location for walking, you need to take the taxi to get the station station and bus stop was not easy to find. The main area Piazza IX Aprile and shopping area is about 15-20min walk. Isola Bella is really far but doable about 30min walk.

The hotel is located below Taormina, the walk to the center of town is about 15 mins. A big plus is the hotel has parking., Staff was very helpful and even parked my car. This was our second stay at the Hotel Bel Soggiorno. The staff is incredible, tending to our every need. Our room was very comfortable and our view was outstanding. The breakfast room is gorgeous and the breakfast is outstanding. The staff could not do enough to make our stay an exceptional one. It is a short walk to Taormina Central, but doable.I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for 5 days and my wife considered living there she loved it so much.
