Good - Overall was fine. Close to transport links into Venice.

Bad - Wifi didn’t really work, coffee was diabolical, bathroom wall is glass so if you are sharing a room with someone make sure you are comfortable showering and going to the toilet in front of them.

It's far from 4 stars hotel. Rather 4 fallen stars. The room was size of shoe box. I think it could remember Garibaldi times. Air condition was out of order. There was no main light in room, only two little lamps.
Breakfast - limited choice and poor quality.

Pleasant enough - Great service - couple of issues

Hotel was pleasant. Service was very good. The Air conditioning was very difficult to figure out and consequently the room was far too hot for us. The view from the balcony was quite poor, and below the window there was a lot of rubbish on the roof from renovation work. A pity, because otherwise for us the room was fine and good value.

The room was too hot, apparently they only have one system to use. There's no way to control the temperature of the room. The window can only be opened up to a few inches. We felt like we were in a
sauna! If you like heat...this hotel is for you. Free breakfast is ok, but could have used a toaster for the bread, you'll find better coffe outside. No complaints about the staff.

We booked this hotel for 2 days stay just because of the convenient location, near train station and #6/#66 bus route to Venice. We arrived in the morning and the friendly staff stored our luggage in a locked storage place. The room and it's bathroom was very clean. The breakfast is fair.

Everything about the property was wonderful actually. The staff above all. Checking in was very quick and easy. Every single staff member was wonderful and I wish I recalled everyone’s name! Stefano at the desk was fabulous and the bartender was terrific, although I’m forgetting his name at the moment. I stopped by the desk multiple times with questions about transportation and they had the best suggestions. There is a bus stop just steps away from the hotel front door. There is also a tram stop about a half a block away. The train station is close by as well. We found multiple restaurants near by that we chose to return to. You can’t go wrong with this hotel!

I don't know if this is in Italian culture or the staff is impatient when providing the services. I like the location of the hotel. The bus that stops right in front of the hotel will take you to Venice in 5-7 minutes and runs every 5-10 minutes.
The hotel is close to the train station, from where you can easily get to any destination in Italy and abroad.
Getting to the hotel from Marco Polo Airport is very easy.
Getting to the hotel from Marco Polo Airport is very easy. A comfortable but inexpensive express bus will take you directly to the train station, and you will walk 1 block to the hotel. This can save you a lot of money.
The pharmacy is 1 block away, the supermarket is 2 blocks away - everything is within walking distance.
The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They will help you with directions, store your luggage in a locker while you wait for your room to be prepared, and you will leave your room key with them while you enjoy beautiful Venice.
The premises are modest and a little dated, but all the equipment (AC, TV, shower, toilet, taps, lifts, etc.) works well. The room is clean and functional.
In the morning we enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant. The restaurant has two working coffee machines and two juice dispensers so there are no queues.
In my opinion, the choice of hot dishes was limited, but there was a lot of fruit, tomatoes, cheeses, ham, bread, pastries and other types of food.
There is a beautiful grand piano in the lobby, although it is completely out of tune and useless. It seems that no one has looked after it for many years.

When we first arrived we had two rooms. My room with my husband was having some major aircon issues and it was a hot day, so it was beyond boiling. After finally getting someone up there to help us over an hour and a half we were being ‘upgraded’ to a room whose aircon also didn’t work.
It wouldn’t drop below 24/25 degrees. Sweating and hot, uncomfortable on a concrete bed. I wrote to the hotel manager with photos of the temp at 3:30am and 4:30am. We had to leave at 8am for our tour the next day.
By 2:30pm I still had no reply. So I contacted the hotel and Hotels.com to say we wanted to check out 1 night early due to the lack of assistance, communication and lack of comfort.It was unacceptable to have no response for nearly an entire work day and we understand we had missed check out for that day, but wanted to check out the next day at least

Hotels.com contacted the hotel and we were declined. I then replied several times to Hotels.com and the hotel managers email CC’d on every occasion. The hotel not once emailed me wanting to resolve the issue.

When I finally got back to the hotel to speak to the manager he ‘proudly’ stated he had been there since 9am to discuss this with me when I came to the desk.
I left at 8am!! You can’t write a simple email to state you wish to address my concerns when I come down
His attitude, so pompous, lacking in customer service. They even laughed while I walked away to the elevator.
Beds rock hard, aircon crap, staff revolting. Avoid!

The hotel was close to the Mestre train station. The tunnel closest to the hotel was so-so but the main underpass in the station was also close and much busier and cleaner. Breakfast was very good. Reasonable price for the room. Second time I stayed there.

This hotel's location is perfect! There is a bus stop practically in front of the hotel, that takes you to Venice in 12 minutes. The railway station is just a block away, which gives you access to the whole country, if you choose to do day trips by speed train. In the railway station there are car rental offices, if you choose to rent a car to do day trips. There are supermarkets within walking distance, too, if you prefer to get your fresh fruit etc. We could not have chosen a better hotel for our particular vacation, that involved not only visits to Venice, but also to the Dolomites and lakes in the North of Italy, as well as other cultural cities in Veneto.

Hotel Cancelled Reservation Hours Before Our Stay

We stayed here on a past trip to Venice and it was very good. On this occasion, we were on our way to the hotel, traveling from Florence, to check in, when we received an email from Hotels.com indicating the hotel had cancelled our reservation. It turns out that the hotel has change ownership and wasn't honoring existing reservations (although our stay was fully paid in advance). So at midnight we were on the phone with Hotels.com trying to find alternative accommodations in the Venice area. Finally found a hotel and got checked in...well past midnight.

Shower barely worked which was better than the wifi which didn't work at all. Also cancelled my booking a couple of days before I was due to arrive. Worked it out and stayed there anyway, hotel sent several emails advising of a higher price. Did not pay it because we had already booked and paid in advance. Many other places to choose so do yourself a favour and choose one of them.

Great location for the train (like 3 mins of walking) but the facilities was a little bit old and not in good shape. They closed the A/C 1 week before our stay but the temperature was 22-23 celcius outside so it was like 30 in the room. We talked with the lady at the reception and she did everything for an accomodation. They transfered us in a new room with fresh air (doors open in the room) but we slept with musquitos. Maybe the A/C needs to stay open a little bit longer for comfort of the guests... The breakfast was ordinary and the coffee machine delivered cappucino with powder milk. It was not good coffee...

The main route to this hotel travelling from the train/ bus station was an underpass which was used by local drug addicts, so walking through this area felt uncomfortable to say the least!!
Our room was dirty, old and in need of repairs.

If you have a Venezia city pass, you can take city bus from airport to Mestre Station or opposite way. It takes 25 -30 minutes.

Great location, 2-star at its best

Google says this is a 4-star hotel, but this hotel is 2 stars at its max. The location is great and close to train station, but the breakfast is limited and they don’t replenish the breakfast fast enough. They had a lot of travel groups when we were there. We arrived 7:30am, some of the food were already finished. Room is small, and all the toiletries are nowhere near a 4 star standard.

I stayed here in June 2023. The fridge didn't work well, it was almost room temperature in there. The air conditioning however did worked well. Large and spacious room. Shower was small and it leaked water. The hair dryer looked like it was from the 1950's. Everything was so outdated in the room. There is pretty much nothing around here other than sketchy people around the neighberhood. No food options around. Free breakfast and a direct bus to Venice were the benefits of this hotel. The staff were friendly as well.

The hotel is very close to the train station so if you’re arriving or leaving by train it’s very convenient. It is a fair distance from Venice island but there is a bus stop only a short walk from the hotel and a direct bus to Venice so you can be there in about 20 mins.

Only a one night stay. The hotel was ok. Room had very tired and old decor, in complete contrast to the hotel lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good.
My main issue with the hotel is out of their control. Walking access from arrival at the station is via a long pedestrian and cycle underpass under the road and station. It’s a bit hard to find at first, and I didn’t feel safe walking alone through it. It was my personal feeling as a solo traveller. However, the Marghera area that the hotel is in was lovely. I used the local shops and cafes, everyone was very friendly.

AC broken, good convenience, but not great in all.

Their AC was out in the room. I asked about it and they just said that there was nothing to be done, and it wasn’t their fault. That is probably true. But maybe they could have offered another room, or a discount or something. But they didn’t. They didn’t even say that they couldn’t offer that even if they wanted to.
The bathroom light didn’t work right. It took about 30 seconds to warm up, which is quite a while to wait in the middle of the night. We used the flashlights on our phones instead of waiting.
The cappuccino they included with breakfast came from powdered coffee and milk. It was pretty bad compared to cappuccinos all over the rest of Italy.
It was very convenient to the metro. They did store our luggage for us (because they delayed our check in time by an hour).
Overall, not great. But also nothing that was too terrible to deal with.

Beautiful hotel, well located. 3 minute walk to the bus stop which then takes you directly into Piazza Roma in Venice within 20minutes. A much cheaper and higher quality stay than staying on the mainland. Highly recommended.

My room is very good (big and new). I requested a crab and they attended with out extra cost.
unfortunately the air conditioning did not work all the time.
Breakfast is simple, but ok.

In conversation with other guests I discovered that the cheaper room is in the old part of hostel and is not so “fancy”. Recommend to book the medium price I order to have a good rom :) .

We had a room on 4th floor. Nice views and it was not noisy. The only problem we had was the air-con wasn't working and I was bitten by mosquitos and the room was over 30 degrees. I sensed that air- con was being Limited due to high energy costs. So we could perhaps understand this. It was a bit uncomfortable, but we enjoyed the place and breakfasts were good. Nice staff.

Very nice hotel that exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the area and transportation options, and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Less than a five minute walk to train station for easy connections to Venice. Rooms nicely appointed and hotel in excellent condition, although we had to take clothes downstairs to a storage room to use an iron and ironing board. Limited dining options in the area after 10:00 pm. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

The hotel was full of mosquitos - outside, in the room and in the restaurant. Our room was tiny and had lots of ants in it (before we brought food in). The wifi didn't work in the room and when I asked about it, they didn't seem to care. Only good things: breakfast and very close to the station for a quick trip into Venice.

Good size room, comfy large bed. Air con worked ok. 2 mins walk to Mestre train station which is very convenient. A bit noisy due to traffic but ok. Breakfast was good. Also they have immediately changed our room when we asked for another room which we've appreciated a lot. We will definitely come back.

The AC did not work which was a bummer, nor did the mini-fridge. Decent locatiok from the mestre train station but you have to be careful and be aware of your surroundings, especially at night. Comfortable enough for the price.
