The power sockets are turned off in the common area around 10:30 and the only power you have at your bedside are USB A sockets so I would have brought more of them if I'd known. There are also no hand towels in the bathroom so maybe bring a small extra towel.

The highlight of this hostel is the freezing cold AC. Came to Milan during a heat wave, so functioning AC was a must. I booked a private room with a shared bathroom, and the only issue I had was with the shower. It's tiny! There's three private showers with barely any wiggle room and even tinier towels. Although, there was a sign saying you can ask for a \"medium sized towel.\" The actual room was pretty spacious and the bathrooms are fine. Truly, it's only the shower that's the issue. (Some of my issue with it was the fact that I didn't have shower shoes though, so take it with a grain of salt.)

This site is not conveniently located to the city. It was a 10 minute walk to the Metro but there were many men sitting around drinking near the Metro that made me concerned. It is over 2 miles to walk to the train. The neighborhood is blighted with massive graffiti all over.

Mio hostel was clean, which is the best thing about it. People were constantly cleaning the common areas and bathrooms. However, there were a lot of people who seemed to have lived at this hostel. Some sketchy behavior from people some of these folks. One morning I woke up in the hostel at 6am to a man just talking on the phone, even though there are 6 people in the room. He didn’t see an issue with it. Another night I came home with my bed covered in someone else’s stuff and with my pillow missing. Guy in the bunk below didn’t see anything wrong with it until I said “can you get your stuff off of my bed.” The courtyard and other common areas are nice, but sketchy characters hanging out there. I stayed for six days and probably would have enjoyed Milan more had I stayed in another hostel. I’m at the end of a month long trip in Europe and all of the hostels I’ve stayed at prior to this one have been better because they cater to travelers and not people in the area bouncing around from hostel to hostel. If this doesn’t bother you, I’d say it’s fine to stay here for and night or two. Otherwise, I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Just average. This hotel is fine for just a couple of days , maximum. Its 10 or 15 minutes walk from the train station. The room look ok. The wall in the room needs to be painted. They are a little dirty. The bed was not very comfortable for us. The shared bathrooms lack of good hygiene because from my perspective need to be cleaner. Besides this the shower area are too small. At night I heard people talking in the street untill about 12:00 am.The check in was good. It was very quick. I'm not sure if I would stay again in this hotel.

I had a great stay at mio hostel. Beds, blanket and pillows were super comfy. Rooms, toilets and showers were all 100% clean. Rooms locked and couldn’t be opened from the outside without a key so didn’t have to worry about safety. Staff were friendly. My only complaint would be the noise from the road (cars and trams are constantly going past and the walls are very thin) but this wasn’t too much of a problem. The room had heating which we controlled so I was nice and toasty the whole time. Greattt location, right next to Milano Lambrate train station and tram/bus stops taking you into the centre. Also right next to a Lidl which is perfect for cheap breakfast/lunch and getting your essentials. Would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Milan on a budget!

Overall condition of the hostel was not clean. Showers had mold everywhere, mops used were not sanitary as the smell in the room after cleaning was that of bleach and there was still dirty floors. Every shower head I saw had nothing to hold it up. Beds sagged in the middle. No railing along top bunks for safety. Staff didn’t help with recommendations or hospitality besides bare minimum. Common areas had weird empty vibe and very little effort made to connect guests like other hostels. Overall lack of effort everywhere. Would not recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Milan.

The stay was okay. It was close to metro but the suburb it was in was dead with nothing to offer.
While the staff were okay they gave incorrect directions for a venue I had to go to attend a wedding. This was iinspite of me checking with 4 staff and showing then the correct address on paper. Very pathetic that they gave me directions which was few hundred kns away from the actual place

After I stayed at Mio hostel I got very bad bed bug bites on my face, legs and body!! It's been a month and they still haven't dissappeard completely. I complained to them but they didn't give me any compensation or apologies. They just ignored my complaints. Definitely avoid this hostel. It's dirty and the food they provide is very cheap quality that I woudn't be able to eat. No hand soap in any toilets.

We had so much fun staying here, and it was our first time in Milan, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Not only did our room meet and exceed expectations, we were provided with maps, breakfast, dinner, and overall good company. I would highly recommend staying here. It is also very close to the metro line, making it very easy to get to other places within the city.

Perfect hostel for budget travel
This place exceeded all possible expectations I had for a cheap hostel. Breakfast and dinner are both included, and breakfast is served until noon so it's entirely possible to have all three meals for free (except, why would you want to do that in Italy?). On the last day I was there, a middle-aged Italian couple brought in a pot of home-made pasta and insisted that everyone in the cafeteria come and share it. It was a really cute and friendly experience.
The rooms are clean and there are lockers to leave all your things in. Bathrooms are shared and kept in reasonable condition. Despite there being lots of students, noise level was never a problem and people were quite respectful of other guests. The only downside is that the internet is impossibly slow during peak times (during dinner, etc.) so if you want to do anything on it, I recommend getting up early.
The staff are very nice and willing to help. I had to print some train tickets during my stay and they did it for free with no issue. There are also apples at the front desk that you can grab whenever you like!

This Hostel saved me a lot of money, in an expensive city, with 2 meals a day. Easy to find and get to and met a lot of great people. It's also accessible, rare in Europe to wheelchairs.
There was one huge disappointment, it had the worst wifi that I've ever encountered. It would cut out every minute or so, constantly. Wi-Fi is a necessity for hostelers.

O staff foi sempre muito atencioso e prestável.
O único ponto negativo (que não é tão importante) é que o quarto fica um pouco iluminado devido à luz de emergência que está um pouco forte demais, mas nada que nos impeça de dormir bem.

Der Standort ist wirklich nicht schön. Das hat mich am meisten gestört. Es ist laut und die Umgebung gefällt mir überhaupt nicht. Um zum Hostel zu kommen muss man eine sehr unschöne Unterführung durchqueren an der man sich als Frau besonders Abends nicht sehr sicher fühlt, da es hier sehr dunkel und sich dort mehrere Obdachlose sammeln

It was too expensive for what has been offered. The service wasn‘t that helpful with anything (they scanned our passports and couldn‘t really explain why and their english wasn‘t that understandable). The whole floor was smelling like weed. Outside the hostel it was not feeling safe beeing a woman. Wouldn‘t recommand.

Do not go here, they startes working in the backyard early in the morning with a BIG machine that made hella noise right into our bedroom that was not isolated in any form. We complained, and they did not offer any form for help. The worst part was the diesel smell that filled our room, and made us feel sick.
