The room is nice. We came for the Olympics. It was if they didn’t know the Olympics were in town. We asked for directions and they were helpless. Compared to other hotels in Italy it felt as if they didn’t care. We had to figure how to get anywhere on our own. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It was a walk from the train but easy to find. It’s in a college area so you will see many young adults when class is in session. Not many stores near the hotel but Aldi, a smoke shop and more is near by. They had the eco friendly options which I’m not a fan of but cleaning services are available. The staff was wonderful from breakfast, dinner and the reception.

Great hotel in a quite central location. Excellent staff throughout the hotel, great partnership with nearby secure car parks for those driving into Milan. Rooms are good, although a/c was a little iffy during my stay (but windows can be opened). Communal area, restaurant is great.
Loads of restaurants and bars within walking distance, as are many tram and Metro stops, so it's pretty easy to get anywhere within Milan from here. Recommended

What a breath of fresh air this unique modern hotel was! With traveling to multiple cities during a vacation, you really want a place that will not only be comfortable but heal you. This place was everything and more! From the delicious breakfast spread to the sparkling clean rooms with amazing amenities - this is a mini get away that gives you the space and convenience to reset while enjoying the journey of exploring the beautiful Milan! Lastly, I wanted to mention their staff was incredibly friendly and never shy to help out! This was one of the most comfortable hotels my wife and I stayed in while traveling Italy. Couldn’t recommend this place more! (Loved the outdoor area! Such a vibe!)

Stayed here for 2 nights in September. The property is clean and rooms are compact yet efficient.

Pros:

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff — one even made instant noodles for our family!

Great breakfast buffet with good variety and attentive service.

Cons:

Quiet neighborhood with little to do nearby, despite being close to the railway station.

Mini-bar isn’t worth the charge and only restocked once during the stay.

A bit of a trudge from closest metro back to a main station- so location is good but know it’s a little out of the way and a walk….otherwise, would certainly stay here again.

The location is ok, nice neighborhood, a bit out of the city center but bus/Metro/ tram options nearby (nearest Metro station got quite dodgy at night during the day perfectly fine).

Great place to stay!

This was truly a breath of fresh air where a hotel actually lived up to the images and expectations from its online presence. Cleanliness for me is paramount when choosing where to stay and this hotel made me feel comfortable and reassured. The room was very clean! The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast is great. As per most hotels, their fitness room is not well equipped and could really be improved. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a great stay in Milan. Just to note, the walking distance to the nearest metro station is approximately a 15 minutes away if you don’t mind that.

Wonderful gem of a hotel

From check in to check out those working at the hotel could not have been more pleasant. Everybody I met greeted you with a smile and hello especially the breakfast team.

The room was a perfectly comfortable size for one traveller, the bed serving the dual purpose of bed and day bed was comfortable for both sitting and sleeping.

I saw something new in the room’s artwork every day.

The hotel’s location is quiet but perfectly walkable to metro stations, Milano Centrale and to the city centre.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made all the difference. The bed was honestly the best I’ve ever slept on, so comfortable! The rooms were spacious, and clean. I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety. Whether you're staying for a night or working remotely, this place is ideal. There’s plenty of space to work and relax. Highly recommended!

I stayed here in 2023 and came back for a few days this summer, and both times, had an excellent stay. I was very impressed with the service, the breakfast buffet. The hotel is a 10 min walk from Piola station, but the area is nice, and once you're on the train, it's easy to get anywhere.

The hotel is quiet and comfortable to sleep. The neighbourhood feels safe to walk at night.
The breakfast with the hotel came with various options.
Stuffs are friendly, particularly the lady who take your order for the coffee in the morning- always has a smile on her face.
The hotel is 10 mins walk to La Piola and La Loreta which is the green and red line of the metro and can get to various place in Milan easily.
One thing to note is the hotel plugs are predominantly type L
We bought a type f adaptor and for our room there were two sockets of type F. One near the toilet and one under the desk.

The hotel was very nice. A bit far from the main area of Milan, and needed an Uber or Taxi to go back and forth. The breakfast buffet really needs to be reworked. For 3 mornings in a row, they served runny scrambled eggs, sausages and beans.

I would also suggest that rather then having just a common area to iron your clothes, they should keep a few extra irons so guests can use them in the comfort of their own rooms.

Didn’t live up to expectations of price paid sadly. Perhaps ok if you get a cheap price but we didn’t. Our rooms were boiling hot as air conditioning was feeble. We had to ask for a window handle to open the windows- very odd system. We mentioned this to the staff but they just replied “ok”. Then had to suffer the noise of people sat outside on the terraces to the early hours drinking and shouting. We selected wizard rooms and paid the supplement of minibar included but they didn’t replenish it at all during the 4 nights there and even on arrival it wasn’t exactly overflowing- 1 snack each and 2 waters and 2 cokes. This was a common theme as none of the room facilities were replenished. We had to ask for more toilet paper and shower gel even as this was empty. Was excited to stay here but it just felt like costs were cut everywhere. The room had marks all over the walls and were dusty. I would recommend choosing somewhere else in Milan as this was dissapointing. Breakfast was included in our rate but we only went once as food wasn’t great- hot items like beans and sausages were cold and there wasn’t even cutlery out.

Importantly, I booked a room with the queen size bed and correctly informed them there be two people. After a long day of travel I got pretty schooled at the front desk and ended up paying about an additional 250 American dollars to be \"upgraded\" to a room with a larger bed because \"Queen means single\". I wish they were much more clear on the website or when I called the hotel to confirm my reservation. At all times they knew there would be two people so I felt a little taken advantage of at a time when I was not in a position to bargain. We actually do like this property, but we were there for sightsee and it is a couple of subway rides from the major areas. The property itself is very cool. The rooms are a little small but the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and we had an early train our last day they offered to get us breakfast boxes which were delicious to take with us and called a cab that was there in less than a minute. Although there is a lot of outdoor beautiful spaces, you really cannot just use them. In addition to being a guest hotel, they like you to be buying something from the coffee bar or the restaurant we were quite scolded for just bringing some food back to eat outside; we could not eat in our room because they were cleaning it.

I love the first floor where the cafe is. I love the outside seating area and the lounge feel of the cafe.

The property also has a laundry facility that I took advantage of. Every place I walked to was very convenient and safe. I would highly recommend this place again and look forward to coming with my family next time.

My friend and I were road tripping Italy and wanted to see Milan. Not knowing anything we chose 21 Stories and our stay was excellent. Everything about the hotel was more than adequate and we enjoyed walking the city and checking everything out. Parking was on the next block in a secure parkade which was convenient because we had a car. 10/10 would recommend!

21 Story in Milan – A Delightful Stay

I had a wonderful stay at 21 Story in Milan! The clean and well-maintained rooms made for a very comfortable experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.

The location is convenient, just a short 500-meter walk from the metro station, making it easy to explore the city. I also loved the lively vibe of the place, thanks to its co-working spaces that bring a nice energy to the environment.

One of my favorite features was the always-available cappuccino at the front desk – a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch that made the experience truly special.

Overall, 21 Story is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Milan. I highly recommend it.

All around, a really great stay at this hotel. We booked a Wizard Room for me, my wife, and my 3-year-old daughter. The room looked almost brand new. Spacious. Super quiet, even on New Year's Eve. Large, comfortable bed. Per my request, they had an infant bed placed in the room. In the bed, they prepared a little welcome package for my daughter, which included child-sized slippers! (Never had that before, even in 4- and 5-star hotels.) The complimentary breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, and it was served in their large, well-decorated restaurant/hang-out space, which was adjacent to a large exterior courtyard. Every single staff member that I interacted with was very friendly. It was decently located: 25-min walk from Milano Centrale, and 10-min walk from two metro lines. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
