Hotel is walking distance to main train station, main points of interest; felt safe at all times- in and out of the hotel. Hotel staff mostly helpful but does not volunteer info. As rooms do not have coffee machine, hotel could offer complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning. Overall, good value for the money.

We loved our stay at Paganini, very clean room, and modern spacious bathroom with shower. Cute Small balcony which was so charming to open the door and relax and get fresh air in our room. 3 minutes from the train station. Very convenient to travel to neighboring towns. 15 minute walk to the beach and all restaurants which was lovely walk because there is so much to enjoy as you walk.

Loved the location - supermarket few doors down, boulangerie as well. Within walking distance of Sacred Coeur and Opera area. As well as our apartment was well catered for, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the water fountain too! Kids loved it!

If you are traveling to the French Riviera, do yourself a favor and spend the $ for a room that’s befitting the area. This hotel is marginal at best. We were very limited due to the Grand Prix race, but this room was sad. We had a window, but it opened onto a courtyard of sorts that had things piled in front of the window. Very, very basic room. Sliding door to the bathroom, so no privacy for 3 people. Carpet was yuck. Shower got water everywhere, no way to avoid that. No shelf for toiletries, again for 3 people. Towels paper thin. Breakfast pretty lame. A few pieces of fresh fruit. Location was good, very close to train station and close enough to old town to walk. Stay here only if you can’t get anything else.

Disappointing Stay Despite Good Location

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was not great. Upon check-in, we discovered that the air conditioning was broken—something the staff was clearly aware of, as there were standing fans already placed in the room. Unfortunately, these fans did little to help, and the room remained uncomfortably hot and stuffy throughout most of our stay. We were not notified of the issue ahead of time or at check-in, and no alternative accommodations or compensation were offered. The AC was only repaired the night before our departure, which did not help us during the bulk of our stay.

In addition to the temperature issue, we found fire ants in the bathroom and even in the bed, where I was bitten several times overnight. This was both unpleasant and concerning from a cleanliness and safety standpoint.

On a more positive note, while the staff was not helpful at all in resolving these issues, they were polite. The location is also very convenient—close to the train station and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Overall, I expected much more for the price and based on the online presentation. I hope management takes steps to improve transparency, maintenance, and pest control going forward.

Stayed in a triple room. The bedding and bathroom were very clean. The room itself was very compact. The carpets in the room and in the communal areas were very old and worn and dirty. One party found the bed very soft and ended up with back pain. The lobby toilet was unclean. Location is very convenient but it did get sketchy at night.

This hotel was a short walk from Nice-Ville station, a ten minute walk to the seafront and maybe 15 minutes to the old town. Loved the property, the staff were friendly and really helpful (wife needed to do a business meeting via MS Teams and the hotel staff couldn't have been more accomodating, finding her a spare room to work from). If there was one fault, there was a downpipe close to our room so if someone used the toilet upstairs during the night you'd hear it. The beds were so comfy that the impact was minimal.

Immaculate rooms and very comfortable

Lovely rooms in immaculate condition, and very comfortable. It was very close to the station, and an easy walk to the Promenade des Anglais (with a small supermarket on the way) and to the old town. The only incovenience was the poor WiFi which only works properly on the ground floor. I was warned about this at reception, but it should really be mentioned on the website. However, there is a Starbucks with good WiFi at the station, and no doubt elsewhere.

It was a good experience. Providing water to the guest might not be a bad idea. Increasing the lighting in the hallway would be a great idea, however the light is on a movement based set up. Check remote control to ensure that they are working.
This is a clean property, the staff is caring and concerned about your needs. They will help guide you toward the areas you might want to go to and provide you with good advice. Overall, a good experience, I would recommend this property to future travelers.

Never got to stay here, have spent the last 4 days in Athens with Covid. Cancelling flight to Nice was also impossible. I think you need to make it a priority to have a better system for sick people to cancel/reorganise their bookings! I can even give you feedback without rating a hotel I never stayed at!

Only a 10 minute walk from the beach. The main train station for Nice is one street over from the hotel. Tram stop to the airport is a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended.

A nice hotel 3 mins from train station and a 10 min walk to the seafront. Shops and restaurants all near by. 4 stars given and not 5 for these reasons. The room was lovely and clean, a decent bed. A fridge and safe included. No kettle or tea making facility. The bathroom door was missing a handle and the shower rail was missing some clips which let the head slip up and down. No big deal but should have been easily fixed. Would happily stay there again.

Very nice modern room attractively decorated with comfortable mattresses and a modern bathroom. Cleaning of the room was excellent. Breakfast was good, basic continental breakfast . Excellent location within walking distance to some good restaurants, a laundry mat and the train station and public transportation. I would stay here again.

Arrived early (AM) but checkin was not until 15:00 and we just wanted to drop our cases off. However we we informed by the Duty Manager that a room was available which was great. During our stay needed iron and ironing board and a replacement hairdryer which was no problem for the Duty Manager who was excellent. Only used hotel as a base for exploring area.

I love staying here, the location is great if you wish to use the train station to travel to other towns. The staff are also incredibly helpful, they let us check in 5 hours early (free of charge) and helped with anything we asked for. The cleaners were also lovely any very efficient in cleaning the rooms. The beds were comfortable and shower pressure strong. This was my second stay here and I would certainly book this hotel again.

Perfect location, near the station and a short walk into town. Aircon was excellent. My gripes were firstly apart from a small shelving unit there was no-where to put anything. A tiny table, tiny bedside table, no shelving at all in the bathroom/wet room (do you put your clean clothes and towel on the floor or the toilet?), toiletry bags on the floor. Next was we had no real window (small one opened onto staff area so we kept it closed). Lastly we were disturbed during the night by staff moving service trolleys around and talking. Other than that it was good, room a decent size, hotel felt safe.

The bathroom basin doesn’t drain properly so dirty water remains in after use.
The room is too small only fits the bed, not enough space to move around. A renovation is due as everything passed its life cycle.

The property is clearly old and out dated. The rooms are very small and carpet is dirty. Bed is small and bathroom seems dirty and old. It’s very noisy as the walls are thin. The original room we were placed in had a door that didn’t fully close all the way, however the staff was quick to fix it which is appreciated. Definitely not in the best area of town but the bright side is that it’s right next to the train station which makes day trips easy and convenient.

The lift is rather small if you are travelling with large suitcases. Hairdryer the room was equipped with wasn’t the best but pretty typical things for older buildings.

It was in a convenient location, close to many restaurants and 5 min walking to parking. Breaksfast was great!
The layout of room we stayed in for a family of 4 was a little weird. It had 2 bathrooms but one had the shower and a sink, and the other only the toilet. So once you used the toilet you had to go to the other bathroom on the other side of the room to wash your hands, which was very inconvenient.
The elevator is tiny so if you have a lot of suitcases you have to do more trips.
Everything else was good!

The hotel location is within minutes to nice ville station. As a solo traveller I had a small but comfortable room. The walls were so thin that you could hear your neighbours talking, laughing and showering which was very annoying. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Good location close to train station, decent size room with basics. The walls seem a bit thin and could hear the traffic outside as well as some of the neighbors but overall a nice experience. Very close to some grocery shops, restaurants, and the main Massena / Jean-Medecin areas. We did not purchase the breakfast but rather went to some of the cafes and restaurants for breakfast each day.

Good location to the train station. Honest review, I've traveled a lot for both work airline industry and pleasure. The rooms need updating and are very small, carpet needs to be replaced. We had single beds, comfy, very soft the bedding was good. The area is super noisey with loud screams, yelling, banging and garbage trucks, so you need to keep the window closed. Good for maybe a one night stay but no.more

This is a very comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. There are many good restaurants in the area. If you plan to make day trips by train, the Nice Ville station is a very short 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. The main shopping area, Avenue Jean Medecin, is also about a four-minute walk away.

Nice hotel very close to the rail station. We left early on our last day and it only took 3 minutes to get to the station. Room was good size. The only problem was an odor that came from the bathroom. It seemed as if was coming from a drain. As long as we kept the bathroom door closed it was not noticeable.

Paganini is a great hotel, it is very clean and has friendly staff. The hotel is literally around the corner from Nice Ville where you can catch the train to many amazing places such as Èze, Monaco and Ventimiglia.
The hotel room we had was quite small which wasnt ideal with a toddler whose learning to walk but for a couple or solo traveller is fine.
The lift is also small so if you have many large suite cases you may have to do multiple trips. Amd if you have a large buggy it would not fit without folding it up. Just something to keep in mind if travelling with a baby.
But again, it is a lovely hotel very close to lots of shops, restaurants etc.
