The hotel is very clean, newly renovated and very comfortable. We feel safe in this hotel.
The staff are all very Nice, Friendly and Accomodating. Kudos to Renz, Derek, Pong and another one- aftenoon shift ( forgot the name). They provided breakfast as well
Metro is 2 mins walk from the hotel.
We’ll definitely stay again in this property

Small but sparkling-clean single room with a good bed on the quiet side of the building. Steps from the subway and a useful grocery store. Good flatbread sandwich shop directly across the street. New owners are eager to please. Nothing not to like about this fine establishment.

Everything was great! A small European hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The only complaint I would have is that there is like zero soundproofing. Would recommend a good set of noise canceling headphones. Other than that, wonderful.

The staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, attentive, and efficient.
The room was immaculate, spacious, and very quiet. The location is perfect — less than a minute’s walk to the underground and the main street filled with shops and restaurants.
As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe.
Five stars to the staff — they truly made my stay outstanding.
Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I wasn't expecting a 5 star accommodation for that price but at least some basic amenities but was very disappointed.
Didn't give me any toiletries,customer service is a joke,pillows covers were dirty with yellow marks and very noisy had trouble sleeping.

Guy at front desk wasn’t very helpful or even try to be nice. Very curt and irritated we didn’t speak Italian and he didn’t speak English.
When I asked for a late check out he said no. But the young lady heard me and came over and said 12 pm was okay. She was nice , he was a grouch.
I don’t think he liked Americans. Rude

A nice hotel for a cheap solo night in Milan! Super close to the metro and the train station. There’s several bus options nearby too. Room was okay, the curtains had a tear in them and I couldn’t get the shutters on the window to work. 2 staff members were pretty mid but the older front desk person in the morning was lovely! The area was beautiful, and for the price/location, I would absolutely stay here again!

Very Clean Hotel and a Fair Value. Single room is small but met my needs. Location: Very Short walk to Loreto Subway station that takes you to Duomo(tourist area).
Grocery store (PAM) near by and McDonald's if you are really desperate for food before midnight. Bathroom: Shower is small but rest of bathroom is fine. Breakfast: Simple but good. Nice pastries, yogurt and hard boiled eggs but no scrambled etc. served. Staff: They were nice but ask that you leave the key with them when you leave. Decor is dated but if you are looking for a simple clean place to stay on a budget this is a good option.

I chose this place based on location and proximity to the train station. The property is fine, well located with many dining options nearby and many landmarks in walking distance. The only hard part for us was the steps in the entrance (due to mobility issues) but in all fairness everything was fine: 4 person room was big, comfortable bathroom with a big shower cabin, breakfast was always tasty and the made to order coffee was the best we had in all of our vacation in Europe.

I stayed here one night and that was more than I should’ve. I had to stay in Milan for one night so I decided to go with something simple. Location is decent, it is right next to the metro so that was great! The rooms are really tiny, breakfast is very limited and the guy in the front stands right behind you making sure you don’t do anything “wrong”. The rooms are very hot and the AC sucks, I couldn’t sleep all night and when I complained to the front receptionist, he gave me a nasty look and passed it off like it was nothing. The pillow sucks as well so if you manage to get sleep in this hotel, it’s a miracle. The only upside to this hotel is the location and it’s still not the best it could be. Even if you’re staying for one night, avoid this hotel, they don’t care about your experience. 3 stars for what?

The heating system is controlled at the front desk and no one told me. I was freezing & shaking the first night, Took me three days to feel better. When I told them. they said they control the temperature from the from desk and I should have asked for. Also why orbits allow these old row houses be called a Hotel.. They are Motel at best.

Hotel is very conveniently located in the center of Milano. Room and facilities are decent, clean and well maintained. Very good breakfast. Staff is ok, altough late checking out (even just one hour and paying) seems to be an unsolvable problem.
Fares are extremely overpriced, but that is a common issue in Milano.

The person at the check-in acted very uninterested in customer service. After demanding to see my childrens’ passports, demanded to almost double the price of our stay, stating that the ages have been incorrectly registered during the booking. Their recommendation was to go find another place if I disagreed, which I did. Abysmal customer centricity, unaware that the times have changed. My advice, find a different place and just stay away.

The property was great. The receptionist was very rude. Even he was not happily welcomed. He didn't explain anything about the property. When we were going out, he needs a key but the way he asked for key was very rude, very very rude. When we tried to talk to him he just ignored.
2nd, In the breakfast, they didn't have a enough stuff to eat. Like, there was only one piece of cheese, where as we were two people. On asking, the same receptionist said, yes it finished but the point is we were paid for that. So, it's not fair.

Clean and functional. It is 15-20 mins walk from the station depending on if you have heavy bags or not! And despite what they tell you in the desk, it is not a 10 min walk to the Duomo. 35-40 is more like the real time but along a great shopping street. (Or 5 stops on the metro).

Overall, it ended up being a great choice. Some of my 4-star ratings were due to the building's air conditioning being repaired when we arrived, but he didn't speak any English, so we thought he meant that we had to wait until the temperature went higher to get air! Eventually it was repaired, but it seems that they shut off the main breaker at night when it cools off so that you don't use the air. If you close the darkening shutters to sleep, you need the air to work to not suffocate. Besides that, the daughter was very helpful and gave a great place for dinner. The room was large and had a very modern bathroom. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. It was farther from Milan Central Train station than we thought, but we ended up quickly mastering the Milan metro subway system, and were literally minutes from everything as the metro stop is steps from the hotel. However, you need to figure out the metro's elevators in order to get your bags to/from the station using the trains. The hotel is actually in a good spot for shopping. Again, overall, it was a good experience, and we would return with our newly found knowledge of the metro.

I arrived late due to a taxi wildcat strike. I walked from the Centrale station and though it took quite some time, the hotel clerk checked me in very quickly. The room was clean and pleasant. Air-conditioning worked very well and the desk agent got me a cab in 5 minutes. Good, safe place with food and shopping next door.

One of the smallest rooms I've ever seen

I was here for a night by myself. It's a good location right next to one of the main subway lines and close to the main train station and the lobby is nice but the room was as tiny as a monk's cell and it wasn't exactly cheap either. Also, I had messaged ahead of time about checking in early but the request was either not seen or ignored.

The staff were excellent. The hotel is very clean.
There was a bad storm one night and the was a leak in the room. We reported and the room was cleaned and the water mopped up immediately.
The AC was noisy so we turned it off at night. One night there was a music and shouting from the street until after midnight.
The hotel is good value for money

Room: when bookng their quadruple room, make sure to specify the number of occupants as they charge not by the type of room but by number of person who will occupy it. I paid in advance for the room but was asked to pay for the additional occupants plus tax.
Beds: received 3 beds only on the quadruple room (1 queen and 1 single). Was provided the additional single bed after requesting.
Airconditioning: they turn it off mid of the day and the room gets too hot and was told to open the windows. The only hotel we encountered to do such. So whenever we go out, it’s too hot when we return to the room.
Shower: poor drain system. It fills up if you keep the water running.
Breakfast: Basic but enough. You have to ask them to make your coffee.
Reception: Not friendly unlike all the other hotels we stayed.
Location: 15 minutes walk to Milan Central Station. Closest Metro is Loreto where you can use to reach Duomo/Milan Cathedral. Safe area and close to take out food, grocery and shops.

OK hotel, nothing nice or really bad about it. The A/C or heat system didn't work well we had to keep windows open, and it was noisy outside to get a good night sleep. Room and bathroom were pretty small and the safe was not working. Good thing is very close to a metro station and there is a supermarket close by. Some restaurants in walking distance.

The location is good, about 15 minutes walk from the central station. The Metro is very close by. The room was small but had everything I needed, and was clean. The breakfast was better than what I had expected and the staff was very friendly.
On the negative side, the hotel is kind of outdated and feels somewhat institutional (bright lights, lots of tiles). Nonetheless it was a good deal.

Hotel Dore is a cute little hotel just off a main shopping street in Central Milan. We love the Loreto station area, and wanted one very close to the Metro this time. Hotel Dore is small and a bit dated, but the room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was simple but plentiful. We enjoyed the family atmosphere.

I booked a queue bed or two twin bed room at this hotel on October 4, 2022. When checkin with my wife, the front desk people said I only booked for one people for the room and need to pay addition $67 for my wife. I explained to the front desk person that I booked a two person room, why should I pay more for my wife. He is not try to help at all. I am sorry to say what a terrible experience at this hotel.
