Sweet with some extra TLC.

I enjoyed 2 nights here. It was clean and easy to handle breakfast and check-in. Overall appearance .....needs some paint outside/inside and around windows. Back garden could have been darling if tools and ladders were put away in the shed with the doors closed.
Overall it could be charming.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. It was a rip off and a total waste of money. Totally misrepresented on Expedia and the pictures are a total lie. It looks horrible in person. Our room was in the attic and had leaking pipes. The staff was rude and the room was extremely dirty and felt unsafe. The front desk guy, Fabio, was unhelpful. I would advise to stay somewhere else even if it cost you a little extra. It was my first time in Milan and I hated everything about it but most of it is the hotel. The utensils were dirty and the cups smelled bad. Overall, extremely dirty and would never go back or recommend it for anyone I know or don’t know. This doesn’t even qualify as a 1 star hotel.

Cheap hotel, you get what you pay for. It’is dated but very clean, room size on the small side, bed comfy, bathroom sufficient. Breakfast was ok, quite small selection of food. You get what you pay for here. Staff very friendly, despite all said, I would stay again.

Good location , walking distance from metro Station. But staff was incredible obnoxious. How can you work in the hotel industry and not have a welcoming smile?
The room was OK but there was a big storm during our last night and we had some water dripping from the windows on the ceiling. I told the staff but they seamed not to worry too much.

Good to visit Milan by car.

That budget hotel is conveniently located close to ZTL border. Walking time to Venice center attractions is 20-25 minutes. The room was clean, the breakfast was OK.

Do not go there we went to milan expo 2015 and we diceded to stay there and leave our car outside we ask the person at the front desk how safe was there to leave our car and he told us that was really safe next morning woke up to a broken window and 2 luggage missing the staff was not helpful and there is not police near to make a report. go to ibis hotel you pay a lilbit more but they are safe and super confy and they are all over europe

Go for somewhere Better

Good location on a quiet street, taxi from Linate airport was 16 euro's.

Staff in reception helpful and had very good English, provided a map with main tourist areas, and provided a good continental breakfast.

We were put in room 8, so can only comment on this room - but - looked in two other rooms and seemed to be the same, as the hotel was fully booked there was no chance of a swap.

The room had French doors which opened onto a terraced balcony, problem was the doors didn't shut properly and had to use a chair to keep them closed. This didn't work very well as we have MANY mosquito bites as a result. Also the curtains didn't reach across the gap and didn't go down to the floor so didn't help matters.

Room had aircon, but didn't work, asked every morning and every evening and eventually after 3 nights into a 5 night stay they managed to get it working. Very intermitant and had to keep going to reception as the aircon had tripped out. No fan control on unit and never actually managed to get down to 22'

Room was supposedly cleaned everyday, but an empty can stayed in place for three days, sheets never changed throughout the 5 night stay, VERY DISSAPOINTING !

Towels were clean and fresh, but old and thread bare, at home they would be in with other rags for cleaning.

Worst Air Conditioning ever.

Worst Air conditioning ever. Staff were awful & threatened to call Police when I complained about Air conditioning & Rip Off City Tax. Breakfast was so poor I was absolutely starving after it. Value for money was terrible. I will never visit Milan ever ever ever ever ever again. Rip off city from start to finish. Never never never never again.

Horrible hotel

Family of 4 from U.S.; stayed 1 night. This is a horrible hotel. We booked a 'suite' for 4 at this hotel. It is about a mile from the central train station and not easy to find. Neighborhood is sketchy. Our room was in the attic of the hotel; no lift. Only 1 light was working in the room; air conditioner was not working; no windows to open. Probably the worst hotel I have every stayed in. Avoid this hotel.

Only Issue a Miscommunication

The only issue we had with the hotel experience is miscommunication between us and the staff, most likely due to language barriers. I would recommend this hotel, but if any special accomodations need to be made, especially post booking, I would recommend getting it in writing.

Not as good as expected for a two star hotel

We booked a double room but it was in fact a twin room with two bed joined together. The shower is not really clean but morever, it's clogged. After 5 min, the water is already overflowing the shower tray (and knowing that you need one or two minute to warm the water first, it's kind of a short shower!). And finally the showeread is not really efficient and spreading water all over the place. So yes we've been quite disappointed, even if the hotel was quite well located. breakfast is fine, with a long range (7-10am) which is appreciable for a relaxing weekend. The personnal is OK but not really helpful, especially when our TV remote disapeared one day. They did not feel reazlly concerned ! So yes, good value, but advised for a very short trip when you're single. Forget about the romantic weekend ! (Did I told you that the only light working was a neon and that the shutters can't open?)

Only a one star hotel.

Location is good- about a five minute walk to metro green or red line and five stops from Duomo. Price is very inexpensive for Milano. Staff was not very friendly nor welcoming which was unexpected in such a modest style pensione. The beds were not comfortable but the linens were changed daily. Rooms definitely needed upgrading. The beds were furnished with old wool blankets and hard pillows. Breakfast was basic with good coffee. Overall I would recommend going elsewhere until the staff and rooms became more cheerful.

My wife and I stayed there for one night whilst passing through Milan.
The location is only minutes from the Metro in a quiet neighbourhood.
The staff were friendly and helpful
The hotel is a little dated, but clean and the room had quite a small bathroom.
Overall it was generally good value for money though.

Hotel Trentina - Milan

The location was a bit difficult to find initially - it is a 5-10 min walk from the nearest metro station. There is not much going on in the surrounding neighborhood but the city is very manageable to tour using the metro/subway system. We had a nice, clean double room with a wonderful large walkout balcony. The staff spoke English well and were very friendly. Good breakfast and WiFi included.

for a good stay in milan

a nice basic hotel with ac, very helpful staff gave us suggestions on how to make the most of our stay, and what time to get to the station for an early bus or train to the airport. She reccommended the bus which worked out great as it drops you off at the proper terminal. Upon request they gave us a pot of hot water for snacks of coffee or hot chocolate, and also cut the room rate when they saw we would have to leave before breakfast.

Wonderful owners, very helpful

The hotel is small and we had a small room for the 4 of us, but the owners were extremely helpful with advice and tips. The breakfasts were very good, especially ask for the espresso - it was strong as you would expect but very smooth as well without any of the bitterness. There is only space for two parking stalls in the compound but we were able to leave our car there for the two days. You might want to check ahead if you are bringing a vehicle.

Warm and inviting stay

We were so impressed by Paola and Luca in helping us and making our stay very warming. Luca helped out with our next travels and found information on our way to Lerici. Luca also gave us a name of a fabulous restaurant called Kilometerz, whatever you do...Go! Fabulous people and food fantastic, the price was so reasonable we gave a $50 euro tip! Yes, that good! Paola recommended Hot Eats another great restaurant and mentioned some sightseeing for us. We were only there a day but saw and experienced Milan in such an amazing fashion. Oh and the shopping is great too! You will love the hospitality of the Trentina. We would go back again and recommend this place.

Great hotel to visit Milan, staff are excellent!

What a lovely experience we had, Paola and the rest of the family were very friendly and delightful people, we will definately visit again!! They were all very helpful and forthcoming with information on our stay. Paola even offered to park my car in the tight space round the back. Breakfast was excellent, and overall it felt like 'we staying with the relatives' as the kids said. Hotel is a little bit outside the city, but pretty close to Metro and transport links.

A cozy family stay at Hotel Trentina in Milan -- Drink the Esspresso

Trentina is fantastic cozy Italian experience in Milan, which was exactly perfect. Luca, Paula, and the entire family staff were very informative and helpful throughout our stay. Not to mention that the complimentary morning breakfast and authentic Italian esspresso was delightful. The hotel is close to the central train station, has easy access to the underground subway, and is just around the corner from the major shopping district that leads directly to central city sights such as the Duomo. You cannot beat the bang for the buck and just hope they have availability. Trentina goes above and beyond!

Estancia penosa, el personal desagradable y con pocas ganas de trabajar. El baño encharcado durante los dos dias que estuvimos, no nos cambiaron de habitación ni entraron a limpiar. La habitación sucia, tanto el suelo como el baño, hasta una colilla en la ducha… el desayuno normal pero aceptable, aunque el segundo día no había café. La ubicación es buena, está cerca del metro y cafeterías.

Experiência boa, fomos com baixas expectativas e acredito voces fazerem o mesmo. A recepção nem sempre tem pessoa disponível, demoramos 15 min pra fazer o check in. E chegamos as 14:30 (hora padrao do check-in). Cafe da manha razoável, mas chegue cedo pois nao há reposições, poucas opções. Apesar de nao ter ar condicionado, nao ha mosquitos e tem uma especie de climatizador central que deixa o quarto numa temperatura agradavel msm em dia quente. Cama de molas como na maioria dos hoteis da europa. Continua sendo um hotel 2 estrelas

Personal muy antipático. Ninguna facilidad para entenderte en otro idioma que no sea italiano. Imposibilidad de dejar las maletas aunque indican que tienen consigna.
Sábanas sucias, toallas de otros clientes dentro de la ducha, la papelera sin vaciar, el agua se sale del baño.
El desayuno muy escaso, solo dulces.
La habitación no se parece en nada a la foto. Pequeña, el aire acondicionado no funciona y las ventanas no se pueden cerrar.
No lo recomiendo en absoluto.

Het is een basis hotel. Enigszins gedateerd en zou wel een innovatie kunnen gebruiken. De medewerkers zijn vriendelijk. Wat helaas tegenviel was het schamele ontbijt. De ligging van het hotel t.o.v. openbaar vervoer is okay. Binnen enkele minuten lopen ben je metrostation Loreto. Hier vandaan kan je eigenlijk alle kanten op. Ook handig is het gratis kunnen parkeren, zelfs voor de deur.

De los 8 hoteles que utilizamos en Italia este fue el mas viejo, mas pequeño, el menos cómodo y el más caro. No tiene estacionamiento o ha de ser muy pequeño porque no nos dejaron guardar nuestro carro. A diferencia de lo anterior el personal en muy amable.

Cerca de la estación del metro pero si se quiere caminar son 40mins al duomo x Corso Buenos Aires que es una calle muy comercial y entretenida.

Hotel (Hotel??! Mah!) in ottima zona vicino alle metro Piola e Loreto. Ambiente e camere fatiscenti, avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione completa, partendo almeno dalle piccole cose: imbiancatura, tappeti strappati, velux rotte, box doccia incrostato di calcare. Prezzo basso per la zona ma alto per il servizio offerto. Camere con pulizia approssimativa, tutto sommato abbastanza silenziose ma poco confortevoli. Colazione minimale, ma ci si adatta. Piccolo posto (max 1/2) auto interno (quasi una chicca) se prenotato.

la camera (singola) un po' piccola, ma pulita, decisamente accettabile; il posto raggiungibile facilmente, anche a piedi (una ventina di minuti) dalla stazione centrale. Niente prenotazione

Purtroppo non avevano ricevuto la mia prenotazione, il ragazzo della reception è stato molto gentile e mi ha spiegato che spesso capita che prenotazioni fatte da questo sito a loro nn arrivino. Non avevano stanze libere ed ho dovuto cambiare hotel.

Camera sporca e personale sgradevole , peccato perchè la zona è comoda e ben servita. L'acqua calda ci ha messo 20 minuti per uscire, il cuscino nell'armadio era senza federa e pieno di macchie , la finestra non si apriva ecc.... è vero che costa poca , ma se è davvero a conduzione familiare si può fare di meglio. Non lo consiglierei

Hotel Trentina måste skärpas!!

Jag tycker att personalen som jobbar på kvällen bör vara mer trevlig och hjälpsam not kunderna. De bör anstränga sig mer för att fixa frukost i tid och vara mer gästvänlig!

Per viaggio di lavoro prenotiamo 2 camere per totali 2 persone. Ci accoglie alla reception (una nicchia ricavata dietro il bancone del bar) un giovane con indosso giubbotto in pelle. Alla richiesta di fattura (avendo effettuato il pagamento con la carta di credito aziendale) il giovane dice che non è possibile in quanto fosse già stata emessa ricevuta fiscale, sostenendo che avremmo dovuto avvisarli anticipatamente via mail. Premetto che abbiamo prenotato le 2 camere a una tariffa non rimborsabile, ma non mi è mai capitato di ottenere la fatturazione anticipatamente, se non al momento del check in (o di solito al check out). Solo dopo una discussione e nostra insistenza siamo riusciti a ottenere l'annullamento della ricevuta e l'emissione della fattura (operazione contabile semplicissima).
Superato lo spiacevole benvenuto constatiamo lo stato fatiscente dell'hotel. Pareti scrostate, piastrelle sbeccate ovunque, porte e arredi risalenti all'anteguerra, rubinetteria rotta. Per la tariffa pagata di € 117,00 a camera ci saremmo aspettati un minimo di decenza. Insomma Esperienza pessima, soggiorno da schifo.

Niet klantvriendelijk. Slechte ervaring.

Airco deed het niet. Auto plek gereserveerd van te voren via mail en telefoon, bij aankomst wordt gezegd dat er geen plek is. Op aandringen toch plek en moest autosleutel inleveren. Bij verzetten van de auto hebben ze lichte schade gereden en niets over gezegd. Locatie is prima echter het personeel is niet klantvriendelijk. Wifi werkte niet op bovenste verdieping op de kamer.
