I booked a double room and received a room with 5 beds. The rooms had a terrible smell of sewage where we could see some plumbing structure not covered. It was a very weird room plus the sound proof was zero.

I didn't actually get to stay in the hotel because the people who stayed in the room wrecked it. The staff were fantastic, they booked me into a different hotel in an upgraded room which they paid for and the owner drove me there in his car.

I went back to the Ibis for breakfast as i wanted them to get my custom. They were fantastic and offered to hold my luggage if I needed them to.

When I come back to Milan I will try to stay in this hotel again as what I saw of it looked amazing

Lovely hotel, easily within a 10 min walk of Milan Central train station, or 2 min walk to the nearest metro (Lima).
Only negative was that air condition was broken and the room mist have been 30 degrees plus.

The hotel is in an excellent location with very easy access to the train station and lots of excellent food. Our room was small but it was as I’d expect for the price we paid. The rooms were very clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful! The only issue was the temperature of the rooms, our room was extremely hot and I was informed that the aircon could only be used if the outside temp is over 21 degrees. The temperature was exactly 21 degrees but our room was considerably warmer! It was quite uncomfortable. I tried it the next day when it was 23 degrees but I still couldn’t get it to work.

For this reason I probably would not stay there again just as I want to be as comfortable as possible on holiday. But other than that I had no issues. Great for winter travel!

Hotel in a convenient location, close to a metro, plus shops and eateries. The room we were allocated was spacious with a mezzanine level. Although the bathroom had a very odd design with a toilet where your legs had to fit under a huge sink in front. Not sure if this was normal throughout the hotel or just to the ground floor rooms. Breakfast was nice with plenty of continental options plus some hot options like bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. If I was being fussy some more veggie options would have been nice but this is Italy.

although the property was close to station and a 30 minute walk to duomo , the walls are paper thin and can clearly hear what’s going on in other rooms! (if you know you know) the bathroom had a horrible smell of sewer. I brought the issue up with front door staff and his suggestion was to open the window, the noise was terrible and we could not sleep! needless to say I would not recommend this hotel.

Milano Centrale Station is within walking distance from the Ibis Styles hotel, there is no need to take Uber to go to the Malpensa airport or from Malpensa to Ibis hotel. DON’T waste your money just take the train. LIMA metro station is on the same block.
All receptionists were very kind and helpful. I don’t see myself staying at another hotel, this will definitely be my house, I will never hesitate to recommend it to friends and relatives.

Hotel and room were clean with modern decor. The breakfast that was listed as “included” when I booked the hotel was offered to us for an additional charge. That was very disappointing as it felt like a bait and switch. Location was good as it was just a couple of minutes to shopping and 10-15 to central station.

5/5 rating for the money, room was great. Mini fridge included in the room to refrigerate food/drinks
Sometimes the flush didn’t work, and the door had to opened for it to be activated. The lights were slightly confusing and bring the correct adaptor! (Although you can borrow from reception).
Great location ! Less than a minute walk to the metro which is 3 stops away from Duomo

The air on in the room would not lower meaning we had a very uncomfortable sleep. We returned to the room at 10.30 and had to be up at 5 to get the plane home.
When. It was mentioned to the reception on departure we were told it should’ve been reported and maintenance would have gone to the room and fixed.Not really practical based on the time we had to be up.
The architrave around the door was loose. When unplugging my phone I received an electric shock. There is a huge crack in the ceiling above one of the beds.
Reception staff on departure when reporting the issues was rude.

Loved it. The room was clean. Private.

The staff were friendly. Ordered taxis when required. Which didn’t take long.

Breakfast was amazing. The eggs and bacon were superb! Usually eggs in most hotels can be horrible to eat. The scrambled eggs were top!

This hotel is in a great location too. You can drop your bags off securely in your room and take a short walk to Lima Subway. Which will then take you to some great places. We found the easiest way to get to this hotel via Milano Linate airport is via the subway. We changed once from the airport station and were at Lima station in total time of 20 mins!! We will definitely stay there again.

Worst customer experience ever

Nicely decorated hotel, but not worth a single cent due to their uneducated, unprofessional night receptionist. I booked a double room for single use, but when I saw on social media that a friend of mine was in the same city, I told him to come and visit (guests are usually allowed, if I wanted to receive poor service I would've gone to a hostel). We ĺost track of time and when my friend was leaving to his place, he was stopped by such receptionist, who starting throwing a fit at him and demanding him to pay a second occupation fee of 30 euros, which he paid.
You would normally think that paying the relevant fee would've been enough to sort this out, but when I was leaving the property the same staff member locked the door, yelling and screaming at me about my friend, and demanding that I had to apologise to him, to which I refused as he was more than happy to take our money. He went on to say \"this is not your house where you can sin as you want\". I am still in shock that in 2021 in one of Europe's biggest metropolis these type of situations still happen.
Utterly disappointed with Ibis hotels; you can be sure I won't be booking any property from Accor group anytime soon.

When trying to sleep at night all you can hear are the people above you, literally everything!! There was a lot of noise above us for a good few hours very late at night-into the early morning so it made it difficult to sleep.

You get good value for money. For an average price, you can get a good night's sleep, breakfast and a clean room in a very central location. The staff takes a while to warm to you and nothing is really to rave about, but also, there's absolutely nothing to complain. I would definitely stay there again, even though the walls are a bit thin.

Uncomfortable hot room

Roomy accommodation, comfortable bed. However, the room was extremely hot, and when I tried to notify the front-desk, the hostess couldn't give any suggestions. The manager was right next to her, and only made the situation worst. I had the temperature set-up for 20, trying to cool down the ambient. We just couldn't rest because of the hot air inside the room.

On check in was told we were given a free upgrade, but i would not call it an upgrade...bottom floor, right next to the lift and a window looking on to the street. Only thing was 2 double beds (2nd bed was upstairs, not sure why a couple would need 2 double beds!!). The room was VERY noisey, not only from the street but from inside the hotel and the train underground. If you get \"upgraded' to the ground floor don't accept!! I informed staff on leaving, not did receive any sorrys etc!!

Good location. Modest breakfast. no one explained to us or even advised about the city. We have done a late check out about 40 minutes but the receiption employee dealed with us in nonrespect way even after we apologized many times explaining that we didnot notice the timing and when we asked to pay the cost of late check out, the reciption said \" I don't need your money\" before the hotel manager came and solved the matter. The hotel manager is supportive and we thank him.

Property is a basic 3* Milan hotel, however quite ugly and expensive compared to the service.
Upon arrival we mentioned that the bathroom was dirty (we found hairs over the bidet which was disgusting), and they not only didn’t solve the issue, but the property manager attacked us on the street after check out. He told us we were liars and since we didn’t have any picture of the bathroom there was no proof it was dirty. We are 2 young girls and felt really bad as he yelled us and attacked us in the middle of the street.
He didn’t only treat us unprofessionally and rudely,
but didn’t even take the chance to improve the service.
I would never go back or recommend this hotel to anybody. Milan is full of decent hotel with polite, caring staff. Just choose another one

We needed help with a quick stop in Milan for Passport purposes. Leopoldo (Manager) and his team were more than accommodating. They greeted us with a welcome smile and nothing was too much trouble. Directions to great restaurants, keeping our luggage after check out while we ran around Milan and about 20 steps from the impressive and underrated Corso Buenos Aires/Corso Venezia. I would highly recommend Ibis Styles Milan for any Australians travelling to Milan.

Overall this is a good hotel. Although I expect a bit more for 4 stars. I missed a coffee maker in the room for instance. The air con was not switched on. The shower cubicle is small. On the other hand, the breakfast is good and the location is ideal. Close to the station as well as main shopping street, which ends up right at the Duomo.

We booked this hotel knowing it would be a cheap but practicle option. This particular hotel is well located for the shopping areas but about a 40 min walk to The Duomo. They will book a taxi for you at the front desk, it costs €8ish. We ordered taxis a couple of times for differemt reasons and they all came within a couple of mins.

Facilities were good and clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would happpily use Ibis hotels again.

Nice enough hotel, staff plesent! Nice and clean, could do with abit of updating in the bathrooms and not sure on the purple and blue colour scheme we had! Also aircon wasn't working too great, was too warm and door was balcony door jamming! Apart from that couldnt fault much else! Be warned though you need a 3 prong travel adapter in this place we only had a two Prong! Luckily reception lent one to us!

We arrived late at night. We were given a 'family room' instead of a regular suite. It had four beds. There is some electrical issue on the bathroom that made the circuit brakes go off if the light is on for a while. We contacted the front-desk about it, and they told us to remember to turn the bathroom lights off, like this was just something ordinary to happen, instead of apologizing and saying they'd look into the matter or something. I found it odd.

The next day they moved us to a smaller room (in the category we paid for).

Oh, and don't get confused about where you make a booking: this is the Ibis Style Milano Center Hotel, not the Ibis Milano Center Hotel (5-min walk). We arrived at the other hotel by mistake. They could have used a slightly different name instead to avoid confusion.

I had booking for a day, it was very Good. Near to Central other connections.

They offer drinks in the foyer tea coffee complimentary but we arrived at 10pm tired and looking forward to a hot drink only to be told by a very rude man that it had run out and no more was available that night breakfast was very good
