A/C doesn’t work properly, and you have to book and pay extra $16 box for transfer airport, because the hotel doesn’t have this service included. Basically hotels near the airport have it.

No worth the price per night.
The good reason we select this Holiday Inn was because it was supposed to have transportation service to Berlin Airport, but that’s not true and it is a misleading amenity in the hotel discretion. The hotel actually has partnerships with local Taxi company and it costs you at least 25.00 euros to the airport which is less than 15 minutes drive. Be aware of that…

The Bus 744 picks up and drops off right across from the property. 3 stops to the S-Bahn station and then easy access to Berlin. I personally love not having to drive a car and this made it all too easy. One can't hear all of the noise from the airport, which was also nice. However, the location of a trucking company nearby has transports passing by all the time. Not nearly as noisy as staying in Berlin. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great deal with great food and friendly staff.

The check in was quick and friendly. Had a quiet room as requested and the room itself was nice. Climate control is good to make the room cool at night as I like it American style cool to sleep. However, no amenities are included in the bathroom you must go yourself to front desk for literally anything such as shower caps. The large shampoo holder bottle in the shower was completely empty this was very poor of the hotel. Checkout took about 20 minutes as only 1 person was at the desk with 8 people in line. The hotel seems under staffed for the amount of guests and collecting my bag later for my flight took another 15 minutes due to lack of customer facing staff at front desks.

It's a pleasant hotel with super friendly and professional personnel. We stayed two nights, because we chose to do Berlin on the last day of our stay in Europe before returning to the US. If you are without a vehicle, it may not be the right location when visiting Berlin for more than a day as the hotel is about 40 min by S-Bahn from downtown Berlin. We stayed at this hotel back in 2017/2018. When taking the hotel shuttle to the airport, be prepared to pay 9 Euros per person in your party. I do not recall having read about the shuttle charge but I do understand why they are charging, as Terminals 1 & 2 at Schoenefeld Airport are not close by. Definitely will use this hotel again when travelling back to Berlin.

An important part of a hotel stay is having a decent pillow. This hotel does not have that. 300 euros for a one night stay and they still charge 9 euros per person for the shuttle service to the airport. Don’t stay here. There are many other hotels in the area.

There was an issue at the checkin, we had two rooms booked for two children and two adults, they lost the booking for one room, and offered only one room. This request was also confirmed by my wife with the phone call following the booking. We had to argue and call the manager to give us two rooms that had a connecting door and dust mite bedding protection

We chose the property because of its proximity to the airport and the shuttle service they offer. The connections to the hotel without a car are really bad. We walked a very long distance to get to the hotel from the Terminal 5 S-Bahn station. Sadly, we also discovered that the shuttle service had been farmed out to a private firm which charged us €30 for the 10 minute trip. Many hotels that charge what this hotel charges for rooms would offer a free shuttle service. I felt deceived that the shuttle service advertised was not free.

We needed a place to stay the night before our extremely early flight (4 am check-in). This hotel fit the bill perfectly. It is a short taxi drive to Berlin Brandenburg airport. It is extremely clean and has nice touches (bottles of still & carbonated water in the room, a chocolate bar and wafers). The staff are extremely attentive and pleasant to deal with.
My only complaint is a minor one: we were relying on public transit to get to the airport from Berlin's city centre and it is really in an area that's for cars. There are no restaurants nearby, so you are reliant the in-house restaurant. The food was excellent but quite expensive. But this is typical of airport hotels everywhere.

They are doing a lot of renovations and you have to walk through a mini building site to get to your room. The room itself was fine, clean and comfortable. The TV stopped working and when I spoke to reception they said it was a problem with the signal and they were trying to fix it. They never did, but strangely all the TV's in the bar and restaurant worked fine!

Sadly they have feather pillows and quilts, with no alternative in the romm in wardrobes etc. for those of us who are allergic to feathers and struggle to breathe in their presence. No response from reception when phoned down to request non feathers so a hideous nights sleep. These may be claimed to be non allergic feathers, but they definitely do not work for me. I barely slept with no pillows or quilt. Otherwise Hotel is splendid, but what an oversight!
