Very friendly receptionists, always happy to help with any enquiry. Rooms and hall ways were always kept tidy. The only thing I must mention is that they did not have any mini fridges or air conditioning but that was not so much an issue as the receptionists were happy for us to hand over anything that needed to be refrigerated to put in their fridge. For us, the welcoming staff were what made the hotel a great place to stay at!

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful. Food and drink reasonably priced. Hotel is a bit out of the way from Berlin center but there is a bus stop directly outside that takes you to nearest S Bahn station and if you buy an all day ticket for 7-8 euros you can go all over Berlin using bus, tram and trains. The only thing I would like to see in the room would be your own tea/coffee making facilities.

Great price and the staff was very friendly.
The rooms were pleasantly comfortable and quiet. It is simple, clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was a buffet with a nice assortment of fruits and juices. In th evening, a small bar behind a the reception desk was oerfect for a glass of wine. When we needed an iron an ironing board both were relatively new and were delivered to the room with a smile.

The designer made good use of a small space for everything from the hotel lobby to the shower in the room.
The hotel was amazingly clean and comfortable and welcoming. The front desk staff spoke English which was important since I have only very limited German.
Fresh fruit and sparkling water is free with the stay on a daily basis and was a great way to relax after a long day of travel.
Breakfast was a perfect add on to the stay and reasonably priced for what was offered. The dining area was cozy and had great ambiance, thought I do not drink, so I wasn't able to test out evening services.
things I would mention: I wish was for additional creamers in the room available for the coffee / tea, if there are ever renovations there should be upgrade to the hairdryer as it barely worked and the shower curtain came in and kept wrapping around us while showering, so perhaps glass doors or a heavier liner would have been more comfortable.
All in all, I would completely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in cologne, and I can't wait to visit again !

We hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad in dit hotel. We troffen 1 minpunt en dat is de 1e schans die er is voor rolstoelers. Deze is te steil en zelfs met hulp is ie pittig te noemen. Ook voor honden is dit hotel een fijn adres.
Personeel is vriendelijk en de kamers zijn goed. Hotel is met de auto prima te bereiken. Tram stopt voor de deur, S-bahn is ca 15 min lopen.

Calm and quiet little hotel. Very serviceminded staff. We were a couple of hours early but could get access to the room anyways. We could store our bikes in a little room in the cellar during the night.

Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Es ist für jeden Etwas dabei. Das Manko mit der Klimaanlage, die defekt, teilweise aus der Wand heraus gebaut war, und man dies auch in diesem Zustand hinterlassen hat, trügt den guten Eindruck. Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Der nochmals extra gesicherte Parkplatz für Autos, (den man bezahlen muss), hinterlässt ein positives Gefühl. Die An- und Abreisezeiten sind optimal gewählt worden.

Lage des Hotels ist gut, eine Haltestelle der Tram (M17) sofort vor der Tür. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden und kostenfrei. Insgesamt ist das Hotel momentan eine Baustelle, auf den Fluren riesige Kabelballen, offene Decken etc. Da wir am Wochende dort waren, hatten wir keine Geräuchsbelästigung. Toilette im Erdgeschoss defekt.
Auswahl gut - zwar Aufbackbrötchen, dafür aber ausreichend vorhanden. Frisches Obst, Müsli, Cornflakes, Joghurt, sowie Aufschnitt und Käse. Nur gekochte Eier, kein weiteres Gebäck (z.B. keine Croissants).
Wir hatten im letzten Jahr (als das Hotel noch einen anderen Besitzer hatte) über einen Drittanbieter gebucht. (2 Doppelzimmer inkl. Frühstück). Die Zahlung sollte laut Buchung erst im Hotel erfolgen. Bei Ankunft wollte man den doppelten Preis von uns und am nächsten Morgen auch noch eine Nachzahlung zum Frühstück, da sich dieser Preis offensichtlich erhöht hat. Daher gab es längere, unfreundliche, unnötige Diskussion und man fühlte sich als Gast nicht willkommen.

Wir haben auf täglichen Zimmerservice verzichtet und haben zugestimmt, nur jeden 2. Tag diesen Service zu nutzen. Dennoch wurde am 2. Tag nur kurz durch das Bad gewischt. Nicht mal die Bettdecken wurden ordentlich aufs Bett gelegt. Teppichflusen verteilten sich im Bad und wurden nicht beseitigt, also wurde auch nicht gesaugt. Die Matratzen waren hart und trotzdem durchgelegen. Die Wände und Türen waren so dünn, dass man sogar die Vibration des Handys vom Zimmer nebenan hörte. Für ein bis zwei Nächte ok, aber wir haben uns nach 3 Nächten noch nie so auf zuhause gefreut wie dieses Mal.

In unserem Fall war das Hotel für Veranstaltungs- und Verwantenbesuche in der Umgebung zum Übernachten und Frühstücken gut geeignet. In den Fluren zu den Zimmern war ein aufdringlicher, unangenehmer Geruch vorhanden. Erinnerte uns an frühere Zeiten in der die Außenluft, besonders im Winter durch Braunkohleverbrennung in Heizungseinrichtungen ,stark belastet war.
