Super clean, big room, very quiet. Nice toiletries, TV with good channels. Breakfast was great and happy it had good gluten free options. Staff on site were very helpful. It is a good bit out of the city centre but close to the airport which is why I picked it. Tramline right outside and train station 10 min walk. Supermarket also right across the street Would recommend

Good for being in Adlershof

If you have business in Adlershof, then this place is good. I always stay here when visiting BESSY-II and HZB. Good breakfast. Pretty close to walk to the S-bahn to get to the center of Berlin or to the BER airport.

On our first day there the a/c fidnt work hardly at all, so we opened the wi dow which then broke and we couldnt close and the water did not drain out of the shower. Maintence fixed the shower and window but couldnt do anything about the ac barely blowing out anything cold.

A clean, well maintained property in Adershof. Convenient if you are visiting DLR or other nearby facility. Tram/Bus stops are right in front of you and 500 m walk to S-bahn. Hard to beat the access. Nice breakfast, friendly staff, would certainly stay again.

Modern hotel near the Adlershof S Bahn station.

The hotel was good value for money in a capital city. The room was very quiet, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a substantial buffet. We were staying for 5 nights and it would have been useful if there was more storage for clothes. There were only 4 clothes hangers and no drawers at all.

Comfortable hotel for Schoenfeld Airport

Great hotel for business travel or anyone flying out of Schoenfeld Airport which is close by. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from S-Bahn Aldershof and you can take the 164 bus from airport which has a stop directly in front of Dorint hotel. Kaufland and restaurants also right across the street from hotel so very convienient. Also free wifi!

This hotel is convenient for all transport connections.
The dining room is very nice and food consistently good.
Bedrooms are spacious and very quiet and beds comfortable.
The only minus is the lack of cupboards and storage space, not enough for one person so you need a suitcase to use as storage and for a couple, not acceptable. This is a shame and shortsighted by the management as it lets down an otherwise very good hotel.

Very nice business-type hotel close to SXF airport

Stayed twice for one night on my way from and to the airport. Very convenient, friendly staff, clean rooms, not too big, but with very comfortable layout, no safe and not tea/coffee set in the room. Breakfast was great, all food very fresh and tasty. Dinner in restaurant was great too, very delicious, good food selection and very welcoming waiters.
There are no tourist attractions close to hotel, but a tram just on the same street, and also pretty close to train station. Hotel has own paid parking, but there is a lot of free (over-night or weekend) parking slots around.

I have stayed in this hotel before and service was good except for the last few hours and I am at a loss to understand what happened. For some reason on the morning of my departure the Wi-Fi and heating stopped working. It was like I had been checked out by mistake. I spoke with reception and the issue with the Wi-Fi was resolved but not the heating.

very pleasant stay

we arrived very late at night after a flight. The lady at the reception was ready for us with the key and a worn welcome. We got the room and an explanation where we can eat something. The next morning we had a very good breakfast and if you are in a hurry there were coffee caps to go. The staff are friendly and very polite. we got a map and they let us leave our luggage in a close room for the day. The hotel is located very close to the airport about 15 minutes.

Decent hotel business trips

The hotel is clean and the staff are welcoming. The amenities are not great, but you have everything you need for a shot visit, or a business trip. The adlershof S-Bahn station is only a 5 min walk and it takes around 20 min to get to the city center.

This is hotel is only a few minutes walk of Adlershof S-bahn and is ideally situated for exploring Berlin and in easy reach of airports.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

I would recommend the pizza, very tasty.

Only grumbles are soap dispenser in shower room, I had great difficulty getting soap out so used own toiletries. And, I would have preferred an in room safe, but I think something was available at reception.

As a English traveller I miss no tea and coffee making facilities in room, but this is not usual in Germany.

Perfect for Adlershof

If you are planning on staying in Adlershof, this is the place for you. It is quite affordable, yet with a decent standard. Service is good, breakfast is a simple but sufficient buffet and the hotel is well kept. No trouble with parking, but you need to remember that this is quite a remote area of Berlin (about 45 minute S-Bahn ride to Brandenburg Gate).

A nice hotel, friendly reception staff, and plenty of breakfast choice at the buffet. The pillows and mattress were a little soft and there were no firmer pillows available, but we still slept OK. The location is right next to a tram stop with connections to anywhere you might need to go.

Good for university visits, not sightseeing.

The hotel itself has a great breakfast buffet, rooms are clean, staff is nice and speaks good English (I am a native German speaker, but I observed the staff interacting with other guests). The hotel is located away from the center and the main tourist attractions. It's perfect for visiting the nearby university buildings (BAM etc. etc.) and the synchotron (BESSY), but not for people who want to enjoy the lively city center or are visiting for touristic things.

Great business hotel, reasonably priced

Within a stone's throw from schoenefeld airport, which unfortunately means it is outside the city centre but it was perfectly situated for my needs. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I had a single room. The single beds are slightly larger than the sing;e beds we get in the UK, so could easily accommodate my 6' 5\" without fear of tumbling out of bed.

Nice hotel, but with some major drawbacks

This is a nicely-presented, clean and modern hotel, and the room rate was good.

I had quite a few issues, though:
1. Getting service in the restaurant was awful - 1 hour to get drinks, another hour for food. When the food did arrive, the portions were small, so by the end we all ran out to the nearby supermarket to supplement our meal.
2. They advertise '25% off' the rather large breakfast charge (EUR 18) if you book this at check-in. However, no-one would let me pre-book my breakfasts: they insisted I could do so the first time I went in to breakfast. I duly let the server know that I'd need breakfasts for the next 3 nights on my first morning, but when my bill was made up, there was no discount. To their credit, they applied the discount when I asked, though they appeared to be confused by the whole thing.
3. The pillows pretty much disappear when you put your head on them, even if piled on top of each other.
4. There was a nasty smell in the bathroom.

My fourth or fifth time staying at this hotel. Very convenient if on business trip to the Adlershof science park area. The train station is nearby and there's a supermarket just across the street as well. Only downside is the lack of good German restaurants nearby if you are looking for one.

Good option at right price for that area

Good choice especially for those interested in the science park in its vicinity, or in the nearby airport. Major supermarket (Kaufland) and several fast-food restaurants across the street are helpful. There is as a tram stop directly in front plus a commuter train stop about 500 meters away. The center of Berlin is about 30 minutes away by public transport. Reception staff is adequate. Vending machine drinks are grossly overpriced (3 EUR for 200cc bottle = EUR 15 per litter!)but snacks sold by lobby bar (some available 24/7 through reception) are more reasonable. Safe only available at reception (not in the room).

It's all right

I got a good deal on it, that's why I chose this hotel (without much thinking). I also stayed for whole two weeks, so I got to see what it is like. And my judgement is that it is all right. About the level of comfort you'd expect in Germany from a three star hotel: good bed, room thoroughly tidied up every day, polite staff. Excellent air conditioning, great Internet speeds. At the same time, the room has seen better days (even though everything works nicely). The restaurant is expensive and not that good. If you expect anything extra, you'll have to pay for it. Breakfast is not included in the room price! Pay attention, or you'll be surprised with a bill at the end of your stay (as I was). The location is about 45 minutes train/subway/bus ride away from the downtown, which is something to also take into account.

applaud: quiet area; within 5-min walk to the train station as getaway to other areas. ho-hum: weak wifi, no 24-hour convenience store nearby or even vending machines inside the hotel for finger foods and coffee (Is it just me or Europe in general do not have any 24-hour convenience stores?)

Hotel mit schlechtem Service für sein Geld.

Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie und dem Preis werde ich nicht nochmal hinfahren.Keine Minibar bzw.Kühlscrank,beim Frühstück war es nicht möglich ein Omlett oder ein Spiegelei zu bekommen !!!!
Auch der Parkplatz ist viel zu kostspielig,da ich in 50m Entfernung kostenfrei parken kann.
Man bekommt bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalten zwar den Hinweis,nicht täglich das Zimmer reinigen zu lassen bzw.die Handtücher zu wechseln,aber es wird für dieses Entgegenkommen nicht einmal ein Freigetränk angeboten oder eine Nacht kostenlos parken,denn die Mitarbeiter werden entlastet und die Hotelleitung spart sich Mitarbeiter,sehe ich nicht ein !!!! Samstag war sogar das Restaurant und die Bar geschlossen, wahrscheinlich spart man da auch schon,auf jeden Fall das nächste Mal nicht an mir.

Hotel war gut erreichbar. Zimmer war sauber aber nur sehr einfach ausgestattet. Für 2 Personen stehen nur 5 Kleiderbügel in einem offenen Regal zur Verfügung. Einen Schrank gibt es nicht. Nur auf einer Seite des Bettes gibt es eine Steckdose.
Das Bad ist sehr einfach im Stil der 90er gestaltet.
Es war kein besonderer Komfort vorhanden, obwohl wir das teuerere Komfortzimmer gebucht hatten.
Positiv: auf Nachfrage haben wir zwei zusätzliche Kissen erhalten.

Stort rom med stor dobbel seng. Rommet var rent. Veldig vennlige personale. Lobby området var innbydende. Prøvde aldri frokost eller middag.
Eneste negative var at de ikke hadde kjøleskap og vannkoker på rommet mitt, men mulig det hadde noe med type rom man bestiller.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war für mich sehr angenehm. Bereits beim Einchecken war das Personal sehr freundlich und kompetent. Gleiches gilt für das Restaurantpersonal. Das Frühstücksbüfett war super reichhaltig und
abwechslungsreich. Für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Mein Zimmer lag sehr ruhig. Meine Nachtruhe war sehr erholsam. Ich werde sicher wiederkommen.

Einfacher Check-In und Check-Out. Ruhige Lage, nicht viel Verkehr auf der Straße vor dem Fenster. Sauberes Zimmer mit einem großen Bett und einem großen Schreibtisch am Fenster. Kein Teekocher oder andere Möglichkeit Kaffee zuzubereiten. Steckdose am Bett war defekt. Handy sollte mich wecken, wurde aber nicht geladen, Akku verlor über Nacht die Leistung. Wecker konnte daher nicht funktionieren. Ich habe verschlafen. Stuhl im Zimmer hat wackeliges Stuhlbein. Wasser im Zimmer kostenlos. Fitness-Raum ist eng, wenn zwei Leute nebeneinander auf dem Laufband und dem Crosstrainer trainieren. Kaffee wurde mir morgens kostenlos an der Rezeption gegeben. als das Restaurant noch nicht geöffnet hatte. Reinigungspersonal reagiert nicht auf freundliche Morgengrüße.

Germany is a very hostile country

Muy desagradable la estadía en Alemanía, la gente es hostil con el turista, en el hotel nos pasó de todo, sacaron de la habitación una colchoneta que porque tenía que pagar un recargo, en el restaurante unos huéspedes Alemanes se burlaron de nosotros todo el tiempo y al subir al ascensor un Aleman nos impidió el paso y no nos dejó subir, la mujer que lo acompañaba se burlo de la situación, lastima por nosotros pero a ese país deseamos volver.

The stay in Germany was very unpleasant, the people are hostile to tourists, everything happened to us at the hotel, they took a mattress out of the room because I had to pay a surcharge which I did not accept, in the restaurant some German guests made fun of us us all the time and when we got into the elevator a German man blocked our way and did not let us get on, the woman who accompanied him made fun of the situation, it hurts for us but we do NOT want to return to that country.
