Overall service is great. My only concern is that they don’t have hotel service. During the time I was scheduled to attend the wedding I experienced to get the taxi and Grab so I ask the hotel if they available service but unfortunately no service available. We are 15 minutes late on the event.

Hotel has friendly staff, good service but cleaners should be supervised and taught how to thoroughly clean especially the toilet base has yellow stuff surrounding it plus the bathroom rug is always dirty looking. Pillow cases were not bright white and needs bleach to whiten it otherwise hotel has a homey atmosphere and nice.

As I booked the room I paid for an extra person thinking we would have an extra bed. Instead of notifying us that I didn't pay for the extra bed and only the food. All they said was they didn't have the bed for us.There was no helping from the staff for us to be comfortable. TV didn't work and there's not much amenities. For being a suite, it wasn't what I was expecting! I will not recommend this hotel for anyone.

Good: They accommodate our early check in time due to me being not well.
Bad: The taxi can't get in the main road to the hotel due to some land dispute. Then the room we were in always has this annoying smell (drainage-smell in the bathroom area and food-smell in the room like the exhaust from the house nearby seeped into the room. My first towel (which I haven't used) has a stained ?looks like a yellow-coloured stained.

Nice hotel. I stay there for about 3 weeks I like it, of the main street very quiet considering all the traffic block away. KUDOS to most helpful and professional security guys I ever meet so far,, and to the front desk and café staff.
I have used Taxi and Grub to go around and they have hard time finding location despite all this technologies (GPS, etc..)
I have one suggestions' for Management: to put sign on main street on both corners.

The staff are great, always smiling and willing to help. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed except maybe a fridge and kettle. The inclusive breakfast is a bonus but nothing special. During my stay there was a dispute over the road outside, my toilet did have a leak, the air con is noisy and they ran out of clean towels but this does not deter me from stating that this hotel is certainly value for money.

I feel the first impression of this hotel is not good compared to my last stay only 4 months ago.You cannot get to the hotel as the road has barricade of concrete sewer pipes and vehicles blocking the entrance so the porters has to ferry your luggage to the door,I think this is very bad.Overall the standards seam to be slipping apart from house keeping.The safe in my room was not bolted to anything so useless.When I pointed this out to staff,they just laughed.Breakfast was terrible and I didn't bother getting up for it even though it was included in price.So I think there needs to be serious efforts made immediately to improve standards.

the hotel is nice, simple, and clean. the room was big and cleaned daily. the bathroom was also big, but there was poor supply of hot water. the breakfast was very filling. staff were nice. there was free wifi though not that reliable. the location was just around 30 mins from the airport, but unfortunately they have issues with the road towards the hotel entrance during our stay. hopefully they can settle the issue soon. generally a great stay.

Exceeded expectations- great value friendly staff. Lovely large room. Few mins walk to a small mall with some fast food type oriental eateries and a pizza hut that serves beers. Supermarket there if you want beer etc in your room. Great for a short overnight stay if you're flying/catching ferry next day. Breakfast very limited but can't complain for the price of the room.

Hotel needs improvement

Breakfast a waste of time unless you like rice and cold eggs. Bottled water cost 65 php and overall food serve unsatisfactory. The entrance road into the hotel is under construction and hotel difficult to find by taxi.

Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay. There's a complimentary breakfast buffet included and the room is ok. The staff is so friendly and helpful! The problem we've encountered are that the heater always stopped working so we had to call for them to check and the road closure due to legal problems. However, we will stay here again once we've come back to Cebu.

I booked for 1 night for 4 adults, but when I checked in, I they offered a room with 3 single beds. The staff was very eager to help us out and offerred us a big room on the fifth floor.

What absolutely made our stay unforgettable is that fact that we were able to watch live football \"Bundesliga\" on FoxSport for free. Which is an absolute must for myself: Dortmund fan and my friend: Köln fan!

1.No wifi on last day.
2.Buffet style breakfast not to my liking as rice dry and cold and very limited choice could do better i think.Did not look very nice.Skipped inclusive breakfast on 50% of stay.Suggest adopting cooked to order.

5 star treatment in a very affordable 3star hotel

For a 3 star hotel, it will exceed all your expectations. More of a 5 star experience. Concierge, newspapers to select, porters, a welcome smile, buffet breakfast, cleanliness of hotel, fresh flowers in the lobby, 10 mins from main Shopping and city , close to great restaurants. Comfortable beds !! Which is a must and two very comfy pillows each. Hot water and great water pressure.
I think the only thing that is missing in the room is a fridge, top marks to the owner for pushing out all the stops on a very affordable hotel.

A feeling of luxury!

The hotel is simply close to superb! Since it is relatively new, the facilities are still very okay, and its staff are well-prepared for its guests. They are courteous and friendly. One thing that needs attention is the breakfast serving, which is relatively scant; although over-all, value for money, it is outstanding!!

Really enjoyed it, v clean, felt like the hotel was new. Breakfast was rice, egg, meat (varied daily) and coffee or juice. Beds comfy, good TV. Hotel tucked away from main road, so v quiet. Reservation Lost

There was no evidence of my reservation. I was able to show them my yahoo notice of confirmation .... but to no avail. I was finally given a room and my luggage came up with me. I was about to take a shower and then staff came up to say I had to go to a different room.

When I went to check out the next morning I was charged an extra fee for early check in time.

I pretty much use this hotel exclusively when I travel to Cebu.The amenities and the price are a good value. But this time there was a breakdown in communication between the hotel and Expedia. Not only was the situation not \"made right\" but it was made worse by the room change and then by the additional fee.

A 5-Star Hotel Service

It is a hotel you can really call a home away from home. The place is quiet and inviting. The staff are polite and attentive to our needs from the recptionist to the housekeeping. When it comes to the room, it is spacious, clean and organized. The CR is well kept, with daily supplies of toilettries and physical facility is good. The breakfast is great and even served some of the Cebu food pride. The service we received in our stay there will keep me coming back to Main Hotel and Suites.

Ideal place to stay for an overnight or short term.

Negatives:
Hotel Location: not ideal if you want to go to Ayala Mall or Mango Avenue - it only cost 100 peso one way but traffic can be heavy so will take 10 - 15 mins

Breakfast - was buffet however only 4 choices and I wanted a juice with my free breakfast to accompany my coffee but was told I was only allowed 1 x complimentary tea/coffee or juice lol

Overall a good budget hotel but they definately need to work on expanding their breakfast offerings, staff are excellent though

Good value hotel. Breakfast is a bit light on for choice and just one tiny cup of coffee was permitted. Room was good but had to ask for balcony, fridge and room safe but they were immediately obliging once requested. No coffee making facility in room. Location is nothing special but is very close to Country Mall, Banilad just a few minutes walk away. Ayala Mall a 15 minute taxi ride. Airport was very quick taxi ride on Saturday morning (less than 200 php). All in all good value for money and with just a bit more investment and attention to detail it could be very good.

The Hotel rooms were nice clean, the bed was comfortable and we got upgraded to a king room with a balcony. However there is only a coffee shop and no lounge. It is close to Gaisano Country Mall and there are some near by restaurants. The worst thing was that the main road heading to K City mall was under construction and the traffic was terrible. Of course that is where we had to go for my exit visa and Immigration. Immigration is in is in the K City Mall and there is no need to get there to early as the office does not open until 8 a.m.. Oh breakfast is included in the room price and it was a buffet. Oh almost forgot no hot shower.

Rose among thorns in Cebu City

I stayed here in a room with a double bed and a single bed. Nice clean room with good air conditioning, TV with decent channel selection. Buffet breakfast was served in cafe on ground floor. Staff were so very helpful giving advice and arranging taxis etc. Close to Ayala, Country Mall and Cross Roads which is a small, modern plaza for food, drink and entertainment.

Only minor suggestion for improvement would be to provide safety deposit boxes in each room and ensure that there is always hot water for a shower.

However I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in a triple room, 1double and a single. Room was clean and comfortable, with several British TV channels, one minor complaint was that there was no hot water in the barroom. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Good buffet breakfast. 70 php to Ayala and walking distance to country mall (400m)

Roy's 2015 Boracay Stay

I stayed in a room inwhich I was able to wake up to a view of the beach along the Sibuyan Sea. The sunrise was a joy to see in addition to people out on the beach in the early morning. The room had a separate living and bedroom area and was spacious. More space than I expected.

The staff was first rate and enjoyed serving us. The complimentary breakfast of banana and peanut butter pancakes was filling. I felt guilty because I couldn't finish the portions. They were also attentive and courteous and were a joy to see every day. I requested a printing of my plane and hotel reservations for my next location and they not only printed it, but someone brought it up to my room.

The location was ideal for me because I did not want to be located along White Beach or close to the Mall. I wanted to walk through the streets in order to see the inhabitants of the island.

The only two drawbacks that I had during my stay was the bathroom and the lack of an elevator. There was a constant leak in my bathroom during my entire stay and a face cloth was not provided. There was no hot water for the sink either. Additionally, the amenities provided were far from first-rate. However, everything made up for these issues.

Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. For a 3-Star hotel, there are a lot of aspects about it that are worthy of 4-5 stars. I would strongly consider staying there again.
