I would recommend this but the next time someone says and ask is their free water and they say yes the whole day they give you two waters mostly for free and that's it and i asked the guy do you get free water all day he's like yes so be careful what you say to something that's paying for a hotel

Nice hotel, very close to nice restaurants and bars. We felt very safe there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a bathtub and separate shower and was also very clean. Quiet place as well which was nice for me as I am a light sleeper.

The staff was great and the room was clean. Maybe a little more Maintainence.

Pros rooms are comfortable, spacious and cleaned, sushi restaurant just next door (good quality/price), spa and massage just on other side of the road with massage service available in the room ( had a mix stretching-Swedish-shiatsu massage + foot massage, 1 and half hour, absolutely recommend) , smoking area with comfort seats just outside the building.
Cons swimming pool very small at 5th floor, rooms look a bit too old fashion..

Do better with insects during breakfast!

The most annoying thing is that there were FLYS EVERYWHERE during breakfast. I take bugs serious as it is a form of cleanliness to me. Staff was good and attentive, it did bother me that they questioned my guest. I always talk about wifi, and wifi was adequate this is important for other business people to know what it's like.

Sarrosa is a great place with affordable price accomodating to a group size, I have stayed there for 2 days and overall it I feel that their customer service is top notch and I wouldn't mind coming back here to stay again.

This room 322, had the hottest water i have ever experienced in 10 years of hotel stays all around Philippines. And lots of pressure. Good wifi connection to internet. Also, try Cacao drink at breakfast, unusual tasty chocolate. Good security. I like the architecture of the room (old European style). Minor problems: hot water pot had wrong adapter, some towels missing after housekeeping: but all resolved quickly with call! Great staff! Reminder about all hotels, check aircon filter as 80% are clogged with dust. You get better air and less compressor noise when cleaned. Also, use ur finger to open up shower spray by rubbing the holes, minerals clog many of the jets. After a minute of doing this, rewarded with true wonderful rain shower.

I mistakenly, booked a longer stay online and when I asked for a refund of the time I would not be there, the front desk staff said Expedia had a nonrefundable policy and I had to call Expedia for any refund. When I called Expedia, they put me on hold while they called the hotel. Expedia told me that the Hotel Sarrosa in fact had refused to refund my money and that I had to work this out with the hotel. I went back to the front desk and was told, the person who handles that was not there. When I finally reached them, my refund was refused because of the HOTEL'S nonrefundable policy. I was lied to and felt it could have been resolved by just refunding my money for the unused days. I am used to hotel's making the customer feel welcomed. I did not feel welcomed at the Hotel Sarrosa. I am just now, Dec. 8, 2017 trying to resolve this issue through my bank. I would never stay at the Sarrosa Hotel. Also, the food was sub par, the hot food was cold in the cafeteria and it was overpriced. I had a really bad and stressful experience there.

Very nice affordable hotel. Location was a quick taxi ride to most major Cebu attractions. Room was average size, bathroom large. All was nice and clean. Water pressure and hot water were not always adequate.

Hotel itself is a bit dates, but kept well. Pool and gym are small. Overall, I would stay here again.

Proximity to a lot of places to eat and hangout

Finally got to eat at Jo-Ed's. There are at least three more restaurants serving Asian cuisine. The area around the GAGFA building is teeming with night life and fast food restaurants so there's no shortage on choosing places to eat besides availing of the hotel's restaurant menu.

Had a problem with my reservation and the front office clerk didn't know what to do. I said i want to talk to the manager or supervisor but no one showed up. Good thing I know how to contact the booking site I used and arrange it all by myself.
The room is smelly and old. No hair dryer inside the room. The carpet is not well maintained.

A good hotel with pleasant staff. Some minor details such as: The pool water was murky with the filtration system not turned on. The pool was in an enclosed area so it was like a sauna. Air con was not turned on. No banana lounges. Bar fridge in the room was empty.

Pros- close to a rain forest where you can get close to peacocks deer and hold parrots.
Rain forest you can also do activities like a mini zip line and bridge walks.
Walking distance to Rico's which is one of the 2 most famous Lechon restaurants in Cebu (go early they run out of Lechon by 2:30pm)
Cheap cab to Ayala mall.
Indoor pool and gym facility
Many ball rooms to host events
It looks really nice when you walk in and see a waterfall inside and chandlers hang high above you
The the standard room is equipped with all the bathroom accessories clean towels, extra toilet paper, shampoo, soap, tooth paste
The bathroom is nice with a hot tub and a glass shower stall next to it so 2 people can enjoy hot water at 1 time.
The bed is comfy with clean sheets
There is room service, but if anything just order the drinks, there are a lot of nice restaurants less than a 10 minute walk away.

Cons: room service food is bland and sometimes felt uncooked.
The front of the hotel is inconvenient to walk around and difficult to hail a taxi

We stayed 5 nights and the hotel was basically a good hotel similar to most of the hotels in their price range. We ate in the restaurant once for lunch which was barely acceptable and once for dinner which was a complete disappointment. The meals lacked presentation and most of all, a lack of ingredients. We refused to eat anything else at the hotel during our stay.

Fantastic place to stay

I originnally booked this for price. I was just staying in Cebu City one night. This turned out to be one of my favorite hotels. The rooms were well done,spacious and clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone. You must go to the chocolate boutique in the same building. Meeting the owner of this business was a genuine highlight of my 6 week trip..Fascinating place

They pretended to be a good hotel but it SUCKS!

My room's bathroom was filled with molds, no not water. I ased to be moved to another room it has hot water and bathroom has molds too!

When I checkout the front desk Said they will check the room before I can leave, they called someone to check. I was offended as if I stole something in the hotel.

Very unprofessional front desk, I ask for manager but they sent me a supervisor instead.

Not a good place to stay.

was put up in the old part of the hotel with a view of the car park, everything was tired and old, only a few things available on the menu but the food in contrast was very good, but our stay was very cheap, the pool was freezing, only for a quick dip, and for the first time had to sign a waiver before being allowed to use the pool.

Nice Hotel if you don't want internet

First it took two hours to figure out the tv. The internet password didnt work. called the front desk they said the password works. they were no help. finally got it to work. Surprise they didnt give us a workable password. It worked that night but never again did we have a signal. The room is very nice. It has a fridge but you would never know since its well hidden. But the room is very nice and clean. The front desk service is poor and they asked for a deposit of 1000 pesos first. Also you must go thru a metal detector to enter the hotel. The outside windows are very DIRTY. Better choices of hotels out there.

and the dining room was lovely, but the room is really below standard- just OK.
The pool and gym could be open most of the day would of been nicer than phoning to open. The meals were of a high standard, always service was personal and excellent.

An original one night booking turned into three nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ate breakfast there the first morning and it was good, but there are cheaper local options in the neighborhood. I asked about laundry service and the price was very high and I found a shop just a block away that washed for a fraction of the price. Room was good and they are currently remodeling some rooms so during the day there is some noise.

Well I liked the kind service. Room was clean..
And also they were kind enough to get me a router in the room
when my phone couldn't get wifi signals!
I have no arguments about the service here..
However the foods..
Well putting aside that the taste was more for the local
than for the foreigners...
the hair inside the food really surprised me a lot.
And it was quite hard for me to catch a taxi infront of the
hotel... I think I stood under the sun for more than 10 min.

Love the hotel staff.. They are very accommodating.. The name sarossa international doesnt seem to live up with its name.. It needs upgrade and proper maintenance.. The hot and cold shower is not working well.. If i am to compare with other hotel of the same price sarossa will not be my option.. Generally, this is just an ok hotel.

Everything was good only has issue when I added and paid for breakfast for the balance of our stay, staff countinue to create a bill for our breakfast so we talk with management who corrected the problem after that we notice the staff did not clear our room for 3 days maybe because of the Christmas holiday but still it's a great hotel to stay at and we will go again to this hotel

I like the room cleaning services and the additional touch of art decor using the bath towels. It added some special touch of class.

Receptionist need more customer care training. Requires transpo going to malls. Wifi Internet poor. Faucet for hot water in the lavatory and bathroom not functioning in the particular room that we occupied.

The food was great... awesomely delicious. Thanks to the chef!

hotel was not ready when i got there. the key did not ever work ask to change room was told NO and that if i wait in lobby they will open my room in a few mins. payed for 6 nights stayed for 4 nights not refund and got to sleep in lobby 2 of the night waiting for them to find away to unlock my room. wifi never works and they lied to expedia. said that it was only one day i could not get in my room. lol please DONT STAY HERE EVER. on the good side the lobby is nice place to sleep they will not wake you up
