We have stayed here many times over the years. It’s always a great place, central location, amazing staff and breakfast buffet and dinner. The staff goes above and beyond and some we have known for 8 years.
But, the WIFI is by far not the most reliable, plus you have to log in going from the room, pool dining area. Another issue was a cockroach crawled across my wife’s legs while dining, which surprised us both and wasn’t the best location for such a surprise in a hotel. No doubt we will stay again, but

As long as you stay inside the hotel it’s fine… Take a taxi from the hotel, just fine… Walk to Ayala… You will get harassed during the day by beggars … I admire their persistence but it wears on you…Just keep that in mind.

Yes, room spotless and service personnel super attentive as well as front desk, concierge, buffet personnel Christian, room attendants on 18th floor. Everyone has a welcoming attitude and always smiling as soon as you step in the main entrance. Oh, its just hard to work on the tv coz its on chonese but the technician put alk the time to fix it. It was a wonderful stay and wish to come back next time in Cebu coz everything is within walking distance to Ayala malls, casino, etc. Not to mention our buffet breakfast is massive and very affordable with hotel discount. But senior cant do this all the time. They shld have affordable small portion meals even as to go meals. Our seniors cant eat, too much. Clean room stood the best, special thanks from rm. 1832 and 906. Staff are naturally superb assisting us all the time. Very happy camper here. Awesome stay.

We stay very often here during the last years. With kids, for leisure, business everything is possible.
We like the simple but very functional rooms. They are as well very quiet. The bed is good, the shower hot and strong.
The location is very close to the Ayala Mall, what gives you plenty of food choices during your stay.
The breakfast is good according my wife, I would like more bread choices, real cheese and some appealing cold cuts.
The personal is very friendly, understanding and helpful.
I truly hope I never have to check in through there self operated system. I like the contact with the staff. So far I am lucky!

Had it repaired or looked at four times staff good cleanliness good bad communication with Wi-Fi. Great breakfast. I guess my only concern would be no Wi-Fi unable to do anything walking around blind.

Across the street from Ayala mall but have to play frogger to across the street. Excellent buffet that serves breakfast, and dinner. I have stayed at many places in Cebu and this by far is my favorite city hotel .

Room is fine, quiet, safe and just a walking distance to Ayala Mall. My only complained was the IT staff was supposed to comeback to replace the cable box and change the remote batteries but he didn't comeback to fix the tv problem.

1. Light switch doesn't work.
2. Shower drainage slow to drain and floods when we use it.
3. Room smelled like drainage so we had to keep the fan on all the time.

Original room refused as it was gloomy and apparently not of the previous rooms standards I have used, having stayed here before.
I was given a room that had many small problems, so requested a paid update which was good.
I personally spoke with Butch the duty manager who thankfully gave me an explanation. This hotel will be going through an update from March where all the small problems I identified should be resolved.
This hotel now has many newer local hotels against it for accommodation. Hopefully the upgrades will be sufficient to provide competition.
The location is great not being too far from the Ayala Mall.
The breakfast is very good but try not to go too far to please an ever larger Asian clientele.
I will look forward to returning to see the resultant upgrades.

The aircon leaked and so did the CR bidet - fixed quickly, but two things going south on one stay within a couple days of each other? Admittedly a rather long stay (17 days).
\"Early settlement\" of the bill was an utter failure.
We were not told that our room would be three floors up from the pool and that the New Year's band would be front and center of our night - no sleep until about 2:00am when we paid for a restful stay for every night.
The hallways were very dusty (when was the last time they cleaned there?) and both of us sneezed very frequently while there.
Floor access (security) is very good, though what stops a guest on another floor riding up with another guest getting off on another floor from going to that \"forbidden\" floor?
Breakfast buffet was mostly wonderful (though the eggs were always cold) with a good selection and the wait staff was excellent.
If not for the lack of asking if we wanted the loud music (it actually made the bed mattress buzz - they should have asked if we wanted that or to be on the other side of the hotel) with green laser light that tried to blind us New Year's Eve and the lack of response to the checkout they offered and did not follow through (I received a human response five hours after we checked out with an apology for the very late response), the hotel is okay... though I would say it is rather over-priced for what we experienced. Walking distance to Ayala Mall is a plus, but in hindsight not worth it.

3 pm checkin then housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am is not very comfortable. We got there at 130 and the overly polite girl told us it was too early to check in but if we paid an extra 1000 we could check in early. I figure the room is either ready or not. Felt like I was getting hustled for 1k. Then at check out I went to use the self checkout kiosk but an overly polite girl insisted on doubting it for me, almost insisted I sit down and wait. I didn’t want to sit down and wait, I wanted to go. Like I was being deliberately detained. I have stayed at quest more than 30! Times over the past 10 years, the overall experience is declining. So sad because I use to like staying here. Now it’s not as nice.

First and foremost the workers /staff were perfectly fine. All staff members were incredibly Friendly and accommodating.

The hotel, however , was horrible. Facilities were old and dirty. We had a 19 night stay and room they put us in was the dirtiest, oldest, smelliest, air conditioning didn’t work and broke two times. Horrible. Horrible old hotel and the room given to us was unsatisfactory (#1103). I partially blame Expedia for the overinflated ratings of this hotel .

Only after the second time the air conditioning broke dripping water everywhere on the floor and on the bed, did the duty manager finally move us to a new room.

We had already been living here for 12 nights and after the air conditioning broke the first time they should’ve moved our rooms.

In fact, as we were staying for 19 nights, they should’ve put us in a better room from the start when we checked in. They did not. It seems they gave us the worst room possible and we are not sure why. We have pictures.

We will say the new room they moved us to, #1036, wad much better, much nicer, much cleaner, and they should have put us in THIS room to begin with when we checked in.

Regretfully, we will not ever stay here again and we will never recommend this hotel to any of our friends or family. Expedia is partly to blame!!

Adding insult, our room #1103 actually had a cockroach. We have pictures and a video.

Staff went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay pleasurable, going out of their way to be helpful. The amenities are clean and well maintained, the buffet lunch world class. It was very convenient having a free chilled water machine on our floor and just down from our room. There's Sky TV with local channels plus YouTube. Ayala Mall is directly across from us, as well as a McDo and a 7-Eleven. There's even a jeepney/ Aircon van terminal there as well, across the street. The swimming pool was a little small but the environment around the pool and the bar made up for it. I would highly recommend staying here, we enjoyed our stay very much.
