Great staff. Although they couldn’t accommodate an early check in. I am aware that the check in is after 2 but my flight had arrived at 00:35. I had to wait in the lobby as all the rooms were full. They had the staff come in and clean a room right away at 7am, which was the best they could do.

From a Deluxe Room, the hotel downgraded our room to Standard Room even though we already indicated on the booking that we have 2 infants staying with us. When we reached the hotel they did not even offered us a compensation for the inconvenience. Our room was so small and we had to share a Double Bed when our room originally is for 2 double bed. The stay was so disappointing and the free breakfast choices was very minimal and the staffs were not even helpful! This is so disgusting.

It is central to many malls by way of a short cab ride. Air Conditioning is important to me, theirs is cool and very quiet. The breakfast is served individually either indoors or on a covered balcony. Comfortable setting, excellent staff. There is also a small outdoor local BBQ right across the street from their front door.

I loved how accommodating and attentive the staffs are with their guests. I also loved their hot/cold showers that are just at the right temperatures every time I take a bath plus the breakfast they serve was delish, especially the chorizo.

The property is good and spacious. We stayed in a 3 bedroom with a free breakfast. The bathroom was clean however the towels may require a new replacement. Towels have seen better days! For the price, it was overall a pleasant experience except for the very slow wifi. The parking area is limited but it was OK. The reception area was very accommodating and the food was good as well. It is very close to Ayala and SM shopping center. We will definitely stay at this property again.

The at the restaurant was good. More flavor than expected and portions we're larger than the average Filipino meal. The shakes were excellent. The prices of the food we're reasonable.

My only complaint is there isn't a balcony in the rooms, but everything else about the room was great. Air conditioning was strong and the staff always provided bottled water after cleaning the room each day.

The location for us was terrible. The streets were very narrow to walk on. Taxi's were very scarce. We booked for 4 people but got 2 towels. We requested 2 more towels and they were P80 per towel. ($1.60) per towel to rent. We had to pay P300 for 2 breakfast. The staff was VERY friendly. The room was good and on the 7th floor but it had a window that was way to small to enjoy the view.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The service is superb. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The beds are made daily and supplies are abundant. From clean towels to soap and shampoo and toilet papers. You even get free water bottles which they replenish daily. Daily free breakfast are provided. Big selection from native to American dishes. The only damper was when they did the elevator maintenance during the middle of the day. It was no fun having to climb up to the 10th floor. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and chatting to the ladies at the lobby.

The Sinulog Fiesta in Cebu is perhaps the largest festival in the Philippines. I needed to secure a safe and comfortable place for my three-night stay. The hotel was further from the events than I had expected, but the staff helped me find the appropriate transportation each day. A decent breakfast was included.

Cebu r is my favourite hotel as its not far from Ayala and SM City Malls.Infact my partner and me walked to both.Consistantly clean room with daily house keeping and nice little touches like complimentary bottled water.We had deluxe room on 11th floor that had great view of the city especially at night.Room also has small fridge that is stocked with reasonably priced drinks and extra water.There is also a safe.Breakfast is simple and cooked to order.My favourite was ham and cheese omelette with garlic rice.I highly reccommend this budget hotel.

I stayed here for two nights. Although room was quite basic it was clean and air con worked well. Had to ask for towels as they were forgotten. Safe also had to be opened by staff as it had been left locked. Restaurant was quite good and affordable. I enjoyed the location in the back blocks of Cebu and able to witness local life first hand.

My wife and I stayed at Cebu R in Mabolo, Cebu Philippines May 4 to May 30, 2017. The hotel staff are excellent in providing friendly customer service! Vicky in the front office is very friendly, professional and very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and have good beds, A/C, in room safe and bathrooms with a good shower. The free breakfast has many choices and are tasty. We would stay again for sure!

someone stole some money that was in my suitcase, I lost something like $35.00, even though it was hiding, inside my passport holder, who ever it was went through that and took the money, I suspect it was one of the cleaning people, since I was out all day. when I got back to Manila some of the money was gone, I found out I only got $60.00 left.

Hotel is adequate and inexpensive. Rooms are clean and functional. Staff is friendly and helpful. That being said, there are some drawbacks. First of all is location. It is offset from main roads. This makes access to shopping and points of interest more challenging. Staff will assist in finding taxi, but not a location to be out on foot at night. Check in time is 2:00pm...and hotel is inflexible in that policy, and you can't be assured that even at 2:00pm that your room will be ready. . Complimentary breakfast is basic. Restaurant is full service but a bit pricey. In general, hotel is sufficient for overnight stay, but if you need longer accommodations, you would be happier in a more traveled area.

We were really unhappy with the Cebu R Hotel. We paid for a room in advance on Hotels.com and booked a room with a queen size bed. When we got to the room it was two VERY small single beds. We tried to make it work for the first night and complained to the management, but they said they couldn't help us, and that it didn't matter that we booked a queen size bed online, because they can give us two singles too if they choose. Why even bother having the choice of a Queen bed room if they can just give us whatever room they want? So I asked them to please give me the managements number to call and work something out, but they replied by they were sorry but they can't do anything for us, and then continued to argue with me on the phone about my booking being a queen size bed. No alternative options were given to us. Overall a huge fail in my eyes. It could have been an easy fix for the management to at least try and help us out.

Went to check in and they couldn't find my booking after about 10minutes and a phone call got a room on the 11the floor. Room okay good bed good access TV with good choice of channels water pressure and hot water excellent the hotel is about one year old mini bar in the room.
The minus was absolutely no WiFi technical problems seems the case in another of the hotels in the Philippines and the location real back Street nothing around no shops to eat or buy anything, you can buy snacks at the reception and they have a restaurant with a good selection probably not a good idea to go out at night.
I thought the hotel was closer to Ayala mall but to far to walk I could see sm mall from my hotel not far breakfast was included and had a variety of choices, I would stay again just bring food snacks if you don't want to dine in the restaurant.

I stayed at the hotel with a friend to take an exam in Cebu. The staff served us beyond my expectation. They were very accommodating and hospitable. The receptionists were very well groomed and were very helpful with our queries and needs. Bell boys and especially the security guard were consistent in calling out for taxi and were very patient in teaching us the way around the city. Overall, I can say that our stay there was \"sulit\" which means getting more than what we paid for. If I ever go back to Cebu, I would choose that hotel again. I highly recommend it to those who are perplexed in finding the right hotel.

It was decent. The hotel area was located away from the main street which made the place, peaceful, but somewhat unsafe if you're new to the place and wish to go out at night. The wifi was okay, fluctuating from fast to snail paced slow. Rooms were great actually and especially the bathroom. Food could have been better, considering their prices. But the staff was accommodating and pretty much polite.

Overall, the price for the place was worth it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay in looking to shop and wander around in the city because it is near Ayala and other sites.

Have stayed here several time, and just like the last stay it was a very nice visit. Staff is always very nice and accommodating. Very clean.
Would be nice if they accepted pets, as my wife and I sometimes travel with our dog. This forces us to stay in not so nice of a motel.
Buy, overall we will stay here when ever we come to the city.

Value for money makes this a good hotel

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was good. We had a Suite room and it was slightly basic but functional and very clean. Air con was very good. The bathroom had a 'His and Hers' and was well fitted with a big bathtub, separate showers and a rainfall shower too. It was a shame that the window view was restricted and that we found one cockroach when we arrived. Apart from that, I personally give this hotel good marks for overall value for the money. The reception staff were helpful and the guard was very good at getting taxis for us. We will return here.

Generally well maintained and well kept except the towels are worn out and not white anymore. The food was tasting ok but portion was way too little for an adult. I am referring to about less than a quarter of a small cured milk fish \"daing na bangus\" that was just enough for three bites with rice. The hotel is situated near shopping and tourist places and costing less than P100 per ride.

We were on a tight budget, so we opted for price rather than luxury. We stayed in a double twin bed room with breakfast included.
The people were amazing, always courteous, helpful and pleasant.
The lobby was well laid out, clean and a/c. With just one elevator serving all 12 floors, it actually was excellent. Just a reminder, the hallways are not a/c, so it can get really warm.
Breakfast was excellent with set menu you can choose. Get brewed coffee or cappucino for 60 pesos and 90 pesos respectively, rather than the choice of instant coffee.
We liked the washroom, very modern with a shower, no tub. Hotwater was very efficient.
A walking distance to Ayala Mall, about 15 minutes, if you dont mind the heat. Or a taxi to take you where ever you want.
Parking is a issue, just 8 spots for vehicles. You may have to leave your keys with concierge.
For 33 canadian a night, its a great hotel for the budget conscious. We'd be out most of the day come back to an a/c room. Be sure to get an extra key card, the card was used to power up the room. In the heat, you can't afford to come back to a warm room at the end of the day.
Enjoy your stay.
