Been coming here since just after it opened. It needs an upgrade badly.
Has no dining apart from breakfast. Used to be a cafè on the ground floor but not anymore.
Probably won't be returning.
The staff were very friendly as usual.
Even one of the receptionists recognised us and has been there since the beginning.

The staff are friendly, smiling and courteous however, the room they assigned me was not cleaned properly even the head board is dusty and dirty. I have to clean it using the wipes I brought with me on the trip. Then the pillow is not comfy at all. The electric outlet is broken. Good thing when I approached the desk, they immediately insisted to have me transferred to a different room which i think is higher than I paid for. I had rested well during my stay. And I'm sure those minor concerns can still be improved. Thank you.

I liked that the hotel was only about 3 blocks from SM Cebu. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a 7-11 right in the building. Room was very comfy.

This place was terrible!!!! Went into our room and there was blood on the bed sheets, hair, and obvious mysterious stains on sheets. Bathroom was gross with no soap or towels. Went to the front desk and they didn’t help at all. Was about to book a different room at another venue because it was so gross! Do not book here!!! I will post pictures

My rate from 2. December 2024 was wrong and sent by a mistake.
Now, I'm back again to this hotel because I was satisfied with the conditions here last time.
Hotel has good location, friendly and service minded staff, clean rooms.
No luxory, but a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights. Breakfast is good.

The hotel failed to advertise or wven advise me BEFORE my arrival that there was no electricity, elevator, breakfast, wifi or internet. i never recieved any notice. no email, call or text. It was only when i arrived qnd was offered a refund if i didnt want to stay. Note to manager: Notify guests BEFORE BOOKING AND PAYMENT, OR AT LEAST GIVE THEM THE COURTESY OF A PHONE CALL. not just wait until they arrive to inform them.

no aircon or electricity for most of the day. at least you should have offered a partial refund. INSTEAD ibwas charged full price.

The staff was doing the best they could. Its the managers fault. Ive stayed there before with good experience. But this is likely my last stay due to poor service.

The reception staff where great, the room was on the small side, but was ok, however the house keeping staff left alot to be desired, most of the time it was non-existent, took away the towels and forgot to replace them , there is a small cafe on site was pleasant for a cup of tea and a small meal, so if this hotel, had better house keeping it would be a big improvement

The location as great since it was near popular malls which were the SM Cebu and Ayala Center. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The connecting rooms were perfect for groups of 8-10 people. I wished they had a hair dryer and at least 1 bedside table. They provided lockers in one of the bigger rooms which we didn't use.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. They do their way to make your stay comfortably. It was sad that the room they assigned to us was very smelly/foul odor coming from the sink. First I thought it was gas but later I was like rotten stuff coming from the sink. When we entered the roo the first time it seem the have been vacant for a long time. But when I complained and demanded to be moved to another room, they fixed the problem.

Mabolo Royal Hotel

After a PHP 300 taxi from the airport the welcome at the hotel was good, however, the wrong room was given (two singles and not the queen asked for) and it took to the following day to be resolved. Aside from that slight problem the rooms were comfortable and clean, if needing a little TLC. The wifi was very good and quick enough to do most things with ease. The breakfast that was provided was good, a good selection of options was available and it was easy to swap out items (i.e scrabbled egg instead of fried egg) and didn't take long to arrive. The hotel itself was only a very short walk to SM Mall Cebu and the facilities that a mall brings. There was a very nice cafe within the hotel complex, and all the food they provided was good for two people. My wife and I enjoyed eating in this cafe. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable, at a good price and with friendly staff.

Not A Good Experience

I booked and paid in full with hotel.com 2 rooms for 3 nights for my my wife and daughter and family and at checkin only got one room and after complaining very early next morning at hotel.com customer service Mobolo Royal Hotel finally straighten it out gave keys to the 2nd room for the remaining 2 nights but in different floors and later to the same floor ....service was very slow and rooms are ok.

This was a welcoming hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom is rather small where door opens on to the toilet. Not good ifvtoilet in use and partner want to enter also. Breakfast was included and provided a good selection to choose from.

Pick a different hotel.

There are several issues with this hotel. The first being the condition of the room. The trash can was filthy, the door to the CR was stuck leaving me unable to enter it until maintenance came. One of the light bulbs went into strobe during the night. Breakfast service is very slow, and the staff never seems happy to see you. The room also had no coffee cups or coffee as most hotels do. The bedroom had no remote for the TV. There are just too many hotels in this price range that offer so much more.

Hard to get a good night seep

We stayed during the soft opening of this hotel.
The hotel is located by a very busy street, school and church, and maybe near hospitals, I can still remember being woken up by sounds of sirens, people, cars, roosters, dogs etc. the soundproofing of this hotel is very poor or as I may say close to none. So if you are a light sleeper, do not go to this hotel because you will not get any sleep.

The bathroom is very basic, just a sink, toilet and shower area. It does not even any counter space to put our toiletries. Theres no hairdryer also. The soap provider does not lather at all.

When we arrived, the only functioning elevator was under maintenance so we had to wait couple of hours before we got our luggage upstairs.

This hotel is located about 5 minutes away from SMmall, we paid about 50 pesos or about $1 for a taxi ride from hotel to SM. Theres a wide array of food choices and shopping choices.

The provided free breakfast is not good, very limited choices and served in a small restaurant at the ground floor.

The 7-11 attached to the hotel is a very welcome convenience for hotel guests for their basic needs.

You don't wanna pay to stay in this jail !!!

I don't understand that this hotel can have 3 stars. I am from Holland but our jails have better and nicer rooms than this hotel. No towels or toothbrush. Room very very small and stinky. Aircon on the opposite of your bed so I have a cold now, thanks for that. The room would have city view, well you need to be at least 2 meters long if you wanna watch outside through kind of small toilet window. The TV you have to watch under 90 grade . Breakfast is really horrible and tasteless. This was the most horrible hotel I ever visited.

Nice hotel, started in Jan 2017. Rooms small but comfortable with hot-water shower & toilet. Has small pool, games room and nice environment. Service staff excellent and will always try to accomodate your needs. Beachfront, but no sandy beach. Good snorkelling directly from the beachfront steps. Difficult to locate, as not signposted properly. Great place to stay

New hotel, area does not seem so central but it is... sm mall about 10 min walk. 7/11 next door. Still remodeling the hotel and rooms are big. Needs more work and the ac is on the wall not like other hotels , I think for a short stay it is well until they finish the remodeling. Great price but you get wht you pay for. Employees give good service and willing to help , thank you for the service .

Place is growing on me...

Plastic on the mattress made for a warm sleep.

Hotel was fine. However, they still had plastic on the mattress on the bed which meant the bed did not breath properly and as a result I had an uncomfortable sleep.
