Older property, needs to be updated. However, room was big, it was clean, everything worked, good internet, close to important places. Easy walk to Ayala Mall, and Mango Square.
The staff was outstanding. They have a security guard at the front door 24/7. No safe in the room but I sure felt like my stuff was well protected.
I figured if I did not like it, I could leave, only paid 20 dollars a night USD. stayed all 6 days and booked 1 more night for my return to Cebu before I fly back to LA.

First of all, I arrived there at midnight. The desk gave me a hard time because ( our hotel.com account is joined husband and wife )the reservation was in my husbands name even though I showed the itinerary number that was emailed to my my email address. I was told to get an authorization letter from my husband that I can use this reservation - in the middle of the night. I didn’t get to the room until after 1 am and this was after 20+ hours of flight.
The room was another story, the bed was not a real mattress but a foam on a hard surface. The bed linens looked like a century old yellowed by
time. The towels were also yellowed and stained with very visible blackish circles. The bathroom didn’t have a place to put the bar of soap or soap bottles. No free soap nor dispensers. TV non working. The site when I booked said it has breakfast included but upon check in I was told there’s none. So much to say about my stay there. I personally think they have false advertisement. The rest of the staff other than the person during my check in who insisted for the authorization letter were nice and helpful.
So for the rest of the staff, including security men who went out their way, I gave this one star.

The hotel is pretty old, which means some things are breaking down or lower in quality. But the staff tries really hard to make up for it with excellent service, frequent cleaning, good prices, and lots of friendliness. Wifi is spotty, not necessarily going to get a good connection. Shower was a bit weak in my room.

My check in was problematic although I presented my Passport and receipt for my 2 weeks. The room I was checked in was Not cleaned and there was a bad smell coming in from the bathroom into the whole room. The air conditioner was too small for a large room like that and was always hot in the afternoons.
Only,after Expedia took my complaint to the Hotel Manager thaty room was cleaned and the staff tried to give me better service!
Overall I think I received 2 star and Not 3 star hotel service that I paid for?

The back hole of Calcutter!

The hotel has no facilities what so ever. You cannot even buy water. Our room has no windows! Just a very dim light so it was impossible even to read in the room. The decor was dark, the bedding was even dark brown. There was no hot water. Thankfully we had only booked one night. We will never stay there again. I must say that the staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

I stay there for four days it took 3 days to fix the tv cable in the room and the app said you get free water but no they said the manager says no more free water and they’re also so damn cheap. They turn the AC off in the lobby not that I was staying in our lobby, but it took forever to check in and it is hot as hell

We choose Richmond because it was closer to the hospital for my mom's doc appt. But it was very poor. No foot rag after shower your foot is wet and there's no rag to dry our feet. No cups or drinking glass to use to brush our teeth. We won't be back again.

The room was very hot. It has an air conditioner but it's too small for a room this size. Also they installed it very low to the ground so the cold air blows straight to your feet.

The staff was friendly. The location was good. The Wi-Fi was very fast.

I would be willing to stay here again but I don't think that it will probably happen.

However, upon arrival, we were told by the front desk staff that only 3 guests were allowed and that we had to pay an additional 900 pesos for the fourth guest. This is a total scam!

The pictures on Expedia are completely misleading. The actual condition of the hotel is far worse than what is shown online. The rooms were dirty, the amenities were lacking, and the overall environment was extremely disappointing.

If I could rate this hotel negatively, I would. It’s frustrating to feel deceived by both the hotel and the booking platform. I would strongly advise potential guests to look elsewhere for accommodation to avoid similar disappointment and hidden charges.

It seems so old,the toilet is dirty,the reception was rude and unfriendly .Strictly for 2 persons only if exceeding 2 persons must pay 450 per head. Shower has extremely low water flow .I do not recommend this hotel .You can still find many affordbale and nice hotels nearby.

The stay was excellent. The only problem was at check in.
I booked the hotel for my family members in The Philippines but I was not with them. So there was a problem at check in. I had to overcome this by sending an email to the hotel authorising the family members to book in under my name. Otherwise, everything was alright.

We left early because the area was not safe, locks on room door didn’t work well, poor internet, no safe in the room, refrigerator was dirty and then they charged extra for lay drying the bedsheets We had booked 3 days but cancelled after the first night and had to forfeit the other days that we stayed.

First I was given a room with a massive pillar in it. Can barely move in the room, couldn't believe shower where you can't even keep the soap. blocked shower, loud and noisy aircon. Pros: low price, quiet, friendly helpful staff, some rooms are large, clean, good cheap breakfast, free WiFi, location close to Ayala (10 minutes walk). Cons: dated worn rooms, loose sink or shower fixtures, slow warm water, no immediate convenience stores. Hey folks it’s an inexpensive hotel near Cebu business park/Ayala. And it is the Philippines. If you want to spend $50-$100 USD per night you can do that nearby, but for $20 usd per night in this area, it is a bargain!

Worst hotel. The door it’s hard to open not secure. Bath towels, bed sheets it’s been over worn the linen started pulling out and the color white turn to brownest. The worst sanitation, not secure to stay. Plus there cable it takes an hour to work.

My Go-To Cebu Hotel

Stayed here for one night whilst passing through Cebu City. The pictures of the hotel look beautiful, and whilst it was good in real life, it didn’t quite compare. The reservation was made under my name, however they were still addressing my partner (a male) rather than me. I know it’s a culture thing to not appreciate women so much but it’s a trend that continued. When we had dinner in the restaurant, I asked for two cokes for myself and my partner, and the waiter just looked to my partner and asked what did I say. At breakfast, my partner ordered tea and I ordered juice, but she just bought out two tea’s. It’s only small things but can feel disrespectful and demoralising. On the whole it seemed to be the female staff not respecting other women, as except for one, the men were very respectful and addressing me. Definitely put a bad taste on the stay. But they helped us get a taxi in the morning. The ac was loud but worked. Room was fairly clean and the shower had warm water.

I arrived late arround 10pm, this receptionist i believed he is gay he need to have customer service 101 training, so disappointing, they should trained that receptionist, no food available at this time kitchen closed at this time, local area no, i feel not comfortable, tthts why i transfered to different hotel and pay again, i dont finshed my 2 days with them, they will have money as they wont refund. There was NO WATER IN THE BATHROOM AND TOILET. I had to scold the reception at 1:30 in the morning why we were not informed beforehand. Had it been, we could have asked for a pail and put water in it. Imagine going to the airport without having brushed your teeth and take a shower or at least even wash your face! At least they delivered 4 pails of water after my tirade! How come Hotels.com didn't downgrade its ratings? It doesn't deserve a 3.5 stars.

It was a nightmare!

The bed was a worn out memeory foam mattress. When we sat on or stretched out on it, the bed felt as if there were no mattress at all.
There was about a half inch floor drop when you walk into bathroom. Every time one of us would walk out of the bathroom we would stub our toes or feet on that painful lip.
Food was barely edible. There were several gnats fighting me for the bread when it was brought to the table.
We spent the first 2-3 hours after check-in googling for more acceptable lodging. We
Left the next morning and finished our vacation in much more acceptable lodging. We found lodging on our own. Travelocity didn’t assist us on this-we had to find a more acceptable place of lodging. After much messaging back and forth, Travelocity did help us get a refund for un-used nights.
