I arrived at 8:30pm, I went to the room and it hadn't been cleaned. The receptionists tried to put me on a standard room even I had paid for a VIP room. 5 min later I was told the VIP room was ready, which was clearly not ok. How come they could clean a room in 5 min.

The staff was amazing and very helpful and accommodating.
Arrived an hour early and checked in immediately.
I was only there for 1 day and staff told me to go to Tops in the evening and that was the most beautiful place on top of a mountain overlooking Cebu.
If you are ever in Cebu I highly recommend
18 Suites Cebu and visiting Tops. A

On Wednesday I asked if I could have my room cleaned. They said it was too late because it was after 3. I said fine, I'll ask again tomorrow. Thursday morning, I go to breakfast, I'm gone literally 5 minutes and they decide that's the time to clean my room. Sounds normal, except I had the do not disturb light on. I have very expensive electronics with me. I need to be there if someone is cleaning my room. I don't think they meant to look shady, but it looks shady. Why wait until I leave? And I know it happened exactly that way because I have it on camera. I always bring a camera with me to hotels just in case. It's internet enabled. I receive the notification as soon as it happens. I tell them to get out of my room from the speaker on the camera and they continue cleaning the room. I had to leave the restaurant and hurry back just to kick them out of my room because they didn't listen to me when I said it through the camera. And they heard me. You can see them check the do not disturb light when I said, get out, the do not disturb light is on. So the staff is either completely stupid or up to no good. It's up to you to decide.

It was clean,but after using towel of course there's a dirt,it is not a stain and a penalty for 100 pesos?If you pay the penalty then get the towel because you pay it already and throw it!And the commission for massage is too much!They get commission from the customer and the lady massage😡and I am not stupid

The staffs were accommodating and helpful. The property is newly built. The only issue I had was their elevator not working due to it's under maintenance. So I had to go up and down from and to my room at 3rd floor.

The staff was very courteous and respectful. The transportation and shopping was very close. The elevator was broken and it would've been nice to have fixed. The hot water was difficult to get just right. It was either too cold or too hot. Overall, I appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere that the staff created. It was the trip of a life time.

Good hotel nice location

Good hotel for short transit. Girls at the front desk are very pretty and very helpful. The hotel is located near to a mall (JY mall at JY square) and super market with good food choices around. Or you can take those little bus things for 8 PHP to get wherever you want(bus-04m to get to Ayala mall) most of the big attractions are a lot farther down south , and to do a tour to get to them you need to be in a group.there are only churches and 1 or 2 temples nearby. So if you have some time to spare then just go further south near Moalboal and Oslob . But if your just looking for a nice hotel with good transportation and food nearby then this hotel is just fine. One small issue that I also found with my hotel in puerta princessa, I thought it was just my hotel at the time but seeing it here I think it’s just in the philipenes, random people slamming the doors is really loud and you get random sounds from the ceiling even though my room is on the top floor. It’s not something that will keep you up at night or disturb you very much but it’s just something you will notice and wonder what that could possibly be lol. Oh and to get to the hotel from the airport is about 300-310 PHP. When looking for hotels I’ve tried to give detailed reviews because it’s really hard to find a hotel and odd reviews make it even harder, so wherever you stay please try to give a detailed review like this one. Even if you book in advance and pay up front you still may have problems getting your room! Even if you show your confirmation email and payment receipt they don't believe you have booked. They are calling you a liar because their system is slow to update, I stay in Cebu a lot but this establishment is my black list now.

I was surprised for the rate at how clean the room was, it was excellent. Staff was very helpful and nice, great little restaurant on site. It's just a basic room nothing fancy, but it clearly states that, but just so very clean for the rate. The only things I didn't like was the barking dogs at night which I read is a common problem with other guest, and the fact that I booked a room for 4 people but was only given 3 pillows, was told there was a charge for a 4th, Seems misleading and petty when my reservation clearly stated 4 guests. Wasn't the money just the principal, come on would it really make a difference in your bottom line, I tipped your staff more then that everyday.

Stayed here a few times during my trip to Philippines. The hotel is quite new and very clean. Our room also was spacious considering the price. It has all your basic needs and nothing more. The beds are quite firm but comfortable enough to sleep. My main issue during our stay was that you could hear from outside... so almost every night there was a dog howling from outside and was very disruptive of our sleep. Also on 2 occasions, we had to wait at least an hour as our booking were not on their system. So the tip is to just book directly with them if you don’t want the same problem. Overall, our stay was ok.

Fantastic new hotel in great location near JY square...Our room on the 4th floor was immaculate and room service was second to none...All stafff from front desk to security staff and room service staff were so helpful and polite always and made our 17 night stay a pleasure...Wifi in the room was great...mini-bar, security safe, air conditioning and facilities were excellent and complimentary... Hot and cold water was always available at the end of the corridor. Highly reccommended hotel...Thanks 18 Suites.

Satisfied but not totally.

The place is very new. They haven't open their restaurant and pool. I believe there is no gym. Very clean, staff were friendly, helpful, and smiling. Downside, the room is not soundproof. The dog at the house next to it were constantly barking. Quite annoying and irritating! I think it depends which room you were in. I'm sure they can be able to transfer you in a different room.

Very nice and updated amenities. Spacious room, comfy bed and very clean cr. It also has a hair dryer permanently attached at the cr. Well lit room and plus points for having plenty of outlets strategically located and good wifi connection. Its not exactly near the highway but its not difficult to find since its near JY mall. I would love to stay here again.

The frontdesk staff, the housekeepers, and their Manager Angel were all amazing! They went above and beyond on their service and made sure that we were comfortable and made our stay very memorable. They even helped us solve a complex situation regarding the location of our room.

Really great hotel that covers all the bases as follows:

Property = newly opened (think they said since 12/18), so everything is super clean, modern and in perfect working order. Good water pressure & hot shower, cold Air Con, toiletries and a hot/cold water dispenser in the hallway for guest use. I think they have guest parking as well but I didn’t have a vehicle, but basically they have everything you need.

Staff = very professional and polite check-in, followed up by super helpful staff whom always seemed to be near whenever I needed something. Friendly security at the entrance and everyone seemed eager to be of service.

Location = on a quite (low traffic) side street just 100M (few minutes walk) from main road and JY Mall, so tons of good shopping, bars and restaurants just a short walk away. You could even walk to IT Park or just grab a ride right outside the hotel.

Cost = this property offers great value for your money. Being new and with everything mentioned above, it’s comparable in cost to much worse places in town.

I highly recommend this property if you want to be near central Cebu, IT Park and Ayala/SM City. It was a very pleasant, stress-free stay!

First stay in new hotel

We decided to try this new hotel in this area as we wanted to be away from the crowded streets over the festival of Sinulog.Our stay was 18th- 22nd Jan 2019.
We were warmly welcomed after arriving by Grab car.Check in was quick and a deposit of 1000 peso was required for \"incedentals\".I was going to question this as the hotel has no services other than accommodation. I was informed so soft opening and walk in promo price of 1400 peso per night was displayed.Room was brand new, but spartan, no furniture other than pic ic style plastic table and bed, no chair or dresser .It did have a a unit with shelves and single cupboard containing safe.The bell boy didn't point this out so we discovered it after sometime in room,but he did provide a kettle apon asking so we could make a hot drink with mugs provided.There was some noise from ongoing building works.The room was cleaned apon asking and you can also indicate with neat illuminated door room number unit.This also was not demonstrated apon arrival.
Later on first evening we discovered a roof terrace.We not sure if this will be a future feature of hotel,lovely view but the following night the door was locked and no access.This I later found out was due to safety,it was being used as laundry drying area.
Overall I will return when they can provide access to roof terrace and have a restaurant on site with a buffet breakfast of good quality. Local food is available some 300m away on very busy junction with dangerous crossing.
