The hotel has a few buildings on the same street. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and sitting areas were very nice.

The location is great, a few minute walk to the old town but far enough away that your not bombarded with tourists at your door.

An amazing two nights. I’m a former hotel owner and manager and stay in hotels approximately 40 nights a year. I can give this property the highest of ratings. Staff Henri, Loan, and ( Leann server) were all so accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was beautifully presented. My room was very clean and well thought out. I felt like I had a private patio. Every thing in the room worked well and was very clean. Dinner on 9/4 was outside and was terrific : cucumber with goat cheese / tuna for entree and a mouth watering chocolate dessert were all wonderful. No question as it was the best dinner I have had in 2025.

We stayed here as a family of four (two adults and two young children) and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The location is fantastic, you can easily walk everywhere, and our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

What really makes this hotel stand out, however, is the staff. They deserve a 10/10! From the warm welcome at reception, where they helped us with parking and gave us great tips on how to get around and make the most of our stay, to the friendly team at the bar and restaurant, everyone went above and beyond.

Dinner in the beautiful inner garden was a highlight: the chef was excellent, the food outstanding, and the staff were wonder full attentive, accommodating every request, even for the little ones.

This hotel has quickly become one of our absolute favorites, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Great location and safe, quiet option for my one night in Marseille as a solo female traveller. Walk to everywhere, the room had everything I needed, including A/C, and was super-quiet with the comfiest bed. Unfortunately I can’t comment on my included breakfast because I slept so soundly, I completely missed it

Fantastic hotel in a lovely area , 10 minutes walk from the port. Very cool, mid century furniture in reception and cute little bar.The amazing garden was a sanctuary during the recent heatwave.Staff were very helpful, our room was in the building nextdoor( think the hotel own lots of properties in the street) overlooked a courtyard, great size room including huge bed.Highly recommend !

Very nice hotel in a great location. We particularly appreciated the big courtyard garden where breakfast and dinner or drinks could be taken. It was lovely to sit there of a morning and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Our room had everything we needed and bed was very comfortable. The town houses that make up the hotel are in quite a smart street, 5 minutes walk one way from Vieux Port and the same the other way from the main shopping street.

Arrivée dans un bel hôtel de style, chaleureux, décoré avec soin....seul bémol les chambres sont de l autre côté de la rue ! L immeuble est moins glamour, chambre simple mais propre ! L information devrait être communiquée au client car meme pour prendre le petit déjeuner......il faut traverser la route ! Pas top ! Sinon, emplacement top à 5 mn à pied du Vieux port. Et le personnel de l étage discret, efficace et à l accueil accueillant et serviable ! Je recommande.

Wow, this is an amazing find for a very fair price! Great location minutes away from metro station (easy 3 stops trip from central train station) and 7 min walk from Vieux (Old) Port. Very classy main building with the reception, bar/restaurant (set menu price 42-52 euros) and a cute garden. Rooms are located in different buildings on the same street. My room was on the small side, but cozy and I slept very well. Staff was exceptional - provided detailed written advice of all places of interest and furthermore gave me a glass of cognac for free when I visited hotel bar!
Elevator is extremely small and with a bad smell.

Staff fantastic, good location for the Vieux Port but room felt tired and cut off from the main hotel. The multi lingual reception team were excellent and helped with any queries. The main hotel building was lovely and full of character with a shaded garden where breakfast was served.

Our room was located in another building further down the street that lacked the character and amenities of the main building. The room itself felt a bit neglected with large mystery staines on the fabric headboard, a dripping air conditioning vent and a shower that flooded the bathroom floor every time it was used.

Overall a decent stay but I did feel where our room was located made it feel cut off and lacking the positive atmosphere of the main hotel.

Check in office is across the entrance of hotel. The room was filled with bugs and dirty. The room had very tiny beds for young kids and the average adult could not fully sleep comfortable without having their legs stick out of the bed. Our room had a very steep stairs where they had 2 tiny beds as well the stairs were so small and dangerous very easy to fall and get seriously hurt. On the upstairs loft there was a cover that was loose from the exhaust fan where you could hear all the noise and also get in all the cold air at night. Would definitely not recommend, especially families with small children.

Marvellous Marseille.

The main hotel reception building and courtyard are separate from the accommodation buildings, but that was ok. It was just a 20m walk across the street! We were mainly focused on having some aircon after two weeks without in our holiday house, and this hotel did not disappoint! We were able to walk everywhere as it was conveniently located. The courtyard cage is beautiful and a lovely place to relax in the evening.

We stayed for 4 nights in late July 2024 with 2 adults and 2 kids. The staff and the hotel were excellent! The room was nicely updated and provided excellent space for all of us. The breakfast service each morning was excellent and the staff went above and beyond for the entire stay to make sure we had a great experience. Very easy access to the port area with tons of restaurants, cafes and shops. Getting around Marseille from the hotel was very easy. We will absolutely stay here again on another trip!

This is located in a poor area of Marseille, we felt unsafe walking around and even just standing in front of the hotel waiting for our Uber. The check in process was quick and easy but I was turned off by the attitude of the reception and the surrounding neighborhood. The receptionist was a bit lazy to make a copy of keycard for us (we had 4 people but only asked for 2 keycards). He asked in an agitated tone why we need more than 1 key even though we are only staying one night… would not stay here again especially since the neighborhood was rough. The room itself is decent, it has one big bed and bunk beds that were a bit shaky. There’s free water provided from the water fountain.

Paid for 'superior room' - but with small cardboard cups, 2 teabags, weak AC & 3 pillows (why not 4 for a double bed?)...I'm struggling to see what was 'superior' about it. Did ask for a 4th pillow but it seems 6 hours was not long enough to find an elusive pillow...in a hotel!!

We only have one complaint. We were told at 12:15 PM check in that we could eat in the terrace restaurant in the evening without a reservation. But, when we arrived at 8:45 PM to do so, we were told it was full. There is a special event happening in Marseille and, apparently, they had a rush of guests. It would have been nice to get contacted by the staff to ask if we still wanted to eat there before allowing other guests who arrived later to take all the tables.

The room is small. If you have several luggages, difficult to bring to your room. Most of the rooms are not in the same building as the office. Breakfast buffet is good. Room didn't even have lotion or conditioner. The shower is odd. Every time you take a shower, it splashes and floods the bathroom floor. The hotel location though is excellent. No return trip for us.

The prime location near the Old Port made exploring the city a breeze. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable, and the staff's friendly service made me feel right at home. The boutique hotel is very well located in order to visit Marseilles and its vieux port.
The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very pleasant to stay at. Please notice this is a boutique hotel; rooms are very small.
1 issue the management must take care of immediately: cleanliness. The bathroom was damaged and dirty. That point is not acceptable
Other than that the hotel is nice; till the cleanliness is not solved; we will not come again

Wifi didn't work in room, and door didn't close fully unless pushed hard. We noticed this and were able to close it, but housekeeping didn't notice and left it cracked open (unlocked and open to anyone) after cleaning the room (our early check in might have caused confusion on cleaning, but they still should have closed the door). We brought these issues up to staff and they acted annoyed at us for complaining.

When you walk through the portal to reception you are greeted at a desk in the hallway reminiscent of a cheezy NYC hotel in a murder mystery. Staff was friendly however they did not have much to work with. The hotel inhabiting the buildings since 2018 have tried to rehab the old buildings but has fallen short. Paid 13 euros per person for breakfast, only raw egg is the only protein. The patio which looks so good in the photos is tired and cheap. You have to boil it yourself. There are multiple buildings on the block on both sides of the street owned by the hotel. We stayed in building #60. Be prepared for micro elevators and multiple trips if you have more than one suitcase. When leaving, the cleaning staff put all the laundry bags in the elevator forcing us to walk down three flights of dark, narrow, winding stairs with our bags. We are both over 60 yrs old. The room we had was clean with modern fixtures but tiny. To gain access to the tiny bathroom you first open the door and then step into the shower so you can close the door. The shower is an open concept, so no curtains or door. Water unavoidably floods out and then you mop. No business center, no usb connections so bring your own chargers. Staff was happy to print my docs when i emailed them, but of course no security in this method.

A friendly welcome. Our room was very small but clean and a comfy bed. The bathroom was a good size and appeared to be quite new. Very central. It would have been great to have had a kettle and tea makings in our room. Breakfast was usual minimal continental style but the staff were again friendly. When we arrived, we were sent to a room in a different building. At first we could not find the room because we had to pass through an outside patio area, and this area was under construction. So after not being able to get to our room, we returned to the front desk. We were then taken back to the building where our room was supposed to be, and were walked through the construction area (asking the workers to stop so that we could pass safely), and finally found our room. When we finally got into the room we were overpowered by a horrible smell. Again I had to return to the other building again to complain about the stench in the room. Again the person at the front desk came back with me to the room, and confirmed that yes—there was in fact a horrible smell. Again, back to the other building to get a key to a room in yet another different building. This one didn't smell, so we decided to keep the room. All this back and forth probably took about 45 minutes of our time. We should not have been inconvenienced so badly upon our arrival at the hotel. It seemed as if the staff were unaware of any problems (and construction) that was happening at their own property.

On the positive side the hotel was in a great location, the beds were very comfortable, the towels fluffy and the rooms clean.
On the not very positive, the welcome was dreadful - non existent really and there were lots of minor issues that for a newly renovated hotel seemed odd - for example it was impossible to have just one bedside light on, no non-slip bath mat for the very slippery shower. There was no consistency in 'accessories' - eg.kettle, kleenex.

Centrally located, plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Unique hotel with unusual layout, but nevertheless unique and not your standard boring hotel. Room was clean, nice bathroom, very quiet. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices (many of the nearby cafes and coffee shops don’t open early so having a breakfast option was nice. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this and would stay here again.

The room was fine. In one of the satellite buildings. No view but mostly quiet. Comfortable bed with decent linens. Good air conditioning. Trendy decor with ultra high ceiling and excellent drapes. I didn’t like the ambergris scent in the room at first but I got used to it.
The breakfast was just average. I stayed three nights. One night there was a lot of door banging and shouting in the middle of the night.

Very nice location, staff was very nice and facility was clean but our room had no coffee and we had to pay for coffee at the bar which was disappointing.

Good location and reasonable stay for the price. The rooms are set in buildings nearby to the reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was average sized, but comfortable and I was pleased to find a smart tv. However, I was disappointed to discover that the cleaner or someone had clearly used the toilet before I entered the room. I didn't mention it as I was too tired at the time and I dealt with the smell myself. Still, it's something to bare in mind for other guests. Also, the room was lacking basic things like a phone and tea set. These are minor details but details nonetheless that can contribute to a 4 star rating.

Great location, quietly tucked away in nice street, but only easy walk to Vieux Port area. Nice Haussmann style houses ( 3 of them). Nice courtyard to eat breakfast. Calm and quiet to sleep
