Great location a block from port & Metrol stop (excellent soundproofing no noise). Apartment: very nice, large, bedroom roomy & quiet, good bed, lots of drawers, closet space. Bathroom & shower very roomy. Big washing machine, soap & drying rack. Kitchen as shown in pix big frig.
Where it went wrong: The staff, pretty & cheerful, not very competent.
Girl at check-in said she'd be up in 10 min to show us how things worked. BUT a worker was painting the apt when we got in: he'd been told it was empty (we'd conf. 3:30). He finished, left. We settled in, the desk girl never arrived. We called down, \"Oh, I thought the worker showed you around?\" Nope.
By then wanted to go walking, didn't want to wait for her. 2nd evening tried to use the stove: didn't working. Receptionist came up, also couldn't get it to work. Said it was too late to get fixed but she'd arrange for it to be done first thing in the AM
3rd day, hadn't heard anything, called again: Desk didn't know about the stove, but found a note. Said she would contact repair. Two guys arrived 10:30 said they'd fix it.. We went out to do tourism, no call from them, so ate out. Called the office again. No, wasn't fixed. So, three days with no way to cook? They suggested we cut short our day, come back pack up, haul bags 4 floors down, get new apt in diff bldg, carry bags up 3 floors. No offer to help with luggage or apology. Nice apt, Staff? Uhh

What a lovely find in such a great location! We will absolutely be back when we return in a few months. The apartments were lovely, restaurants & things to do right out your doorstep, supplied with all the necessities and in a safe, secure environment.

I booked through Expedia and soon began receiving outside emails requesting advance payment, even though my Expedia confirmation clearly stated payment was due at check-in. Expedia advised me not to pay, which I followed. When I arrived, the property informed me my reservation had been canceled — even though it still appeared active on my Expedia account. They offered a room but at a higher rate, which I accepted rather than searching for another place. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great central location close to shops, restaurants, and groceries. Staff were friendly, but the misleading payment requests and unexpected cancellation made the experience unnecessarily stressful.

I like hotels and the convenience they offer. But this place might have convinced me to change my mind. I never realized the convenience of having a big fridge, microwave, washing machine and a dish washer in the same place even though we didn’t use the dishwasher. Now I’m have a better appreciation. The place well kept and very modern. Has everything a traveller might need. Centrally located to all site attractions very walkable. Add to that the staff are so friendly they received us with a big smile and welcome. Check the parking directions provided by the property prior to arriving. A slight improvement might be helpful even though there is a heat drying rack adding couple of towel hooks would be a plus. Thanks to the management and staff Samra, Anaelle are for sure an additional reason for us to stay at this place when we visit Marseille in the future. Merci pour votre service et hospitality 😄

Great location, close to the Old Port, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff are very friendly and easy to communicate with via phone or WhatsApp. They also offer a free laundry service, which is a nice bonus. The only thing to note is that there is no lift in the building, so it may not be very convenient if you have large suitcases.

The apartment location is second to none! Right in the center of shopping, restaurants, nightlife. Two blocks east of old port. Looks new or recently renovated inside. Very clean and spacious. Staff was pleasant. Owner spoke English well. Other staff not as well but good enough and were very helpful! Only downside is no elevator so the climb of 57 steps up the narrow staircase to our 3rd floor apartment was a bit of a challenge but helped us work off the food and drink we consumed during the day! :)

It is conveniently located minutes away from Vieux Port and a 10-15 minute walk to other major attractions in the city center. Wonderful, spacious and clean. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Good air conditionning. I would say it sleeps 3, though, not 4. Or one couple and two young children. We had teens, so it was a bit tight for them, but the extra living space and kitchen and amenities made up for all that. There is no elevator though, so if you are on a higher floor, bringing luggage in an out is a fun adventure! Close to a million cafés and restaurants and is a hot spot for nightlife. Very multicultural and vibrant. Marseille is a bit more dirty than we expected, but we still managed to enjoy ourselves.

Our stay at Les Appartements was very pleasant. We had a good sized apartment on the 3rd floor which had a view of the port from the balcony. The room was clean, had a comfy bed, full kitted out kitchen and big modern bathroom. The only negative was that there was no lift so carrying a suitcase up the stairs was an effort!! The staff were all friendly and polite and they looked after my wife and I for our wedding anniversary with a complementary bottle of wine which was a lovely gesture! It's in close proximity to the Vieux Port which is lovely with great bars and restaurants. I recommend taking a boat trip to the Calanques! Was absolitely stunning!

This property is ideally located just a couple of blocks from the Vieux Port and surrounded by great stores, restaurants and cafes. The apartment was immaculate and well furnished with good AC, a comfortable bed, and nice funishing. NOTE: It is a six-storey building with no elevator and winding stairs. If you don't like stairs, make sure you confirm a lower floor unit when you book. The advantage of the top floor is that we had a good-sized furnished terrace.

Office du tourisme et épicerie à deux pas !Pas besoin de voiture ici. Mon conjoint et moi sommes arrivés de la gare de Marseille et avons utilisé un Uber (12euros)pour un séjour de 3 nuits . The apartment was in good conditions but the building is pretty old. As soon as we got in, there was a cockroach and there is no elevator which is inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. The staff is super friendly. There are many things to do around and its very close to the port! The shower feature is not the best either.

The flat is spacious and in a good location. It is up 4 flights of narrow stairs which isn’t ideal. We were also disturtbed by a man aggressively banging at the flat door at 9am. We did not feel comfortable to answer initially but it didn't stop and they were then trying to open the door despite us shouting through the door asking them to leave. So my partner went to answer to find it was a male cleaner. Check out is at 11am and we tried to explain this to him but he did not speak english. We eventually had to close the door on him as he kept shouting at us in French. I then tried to call the receptionist to ask if they could help and ask him to leave us alone but they wouldn't answer the phone. Eventually he left but it was very strange and unsettling. We then rushed to leave before check out time as i didn't feel safe to stay. I'd avoid booking here again.

This place was nice but a few things to be aware of. It is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. This is something that should be advertised. Also, they do not provide enough towels and toiletry. There office is around the block and you need to stop by every time you need more. They should just leave plenty in the apartment. Also, our entire group were invested with bug bites. that was disappointing and probably needs extra cleaning. Lastly they upcharge for little extras like coffee and snacks. It was not a big charge but for the price per night this is just petty. We run an ABNB and we never add these type of charges.

At first the “Tresor”apartment seemed fine, well appointed and the property centrally located. By the smell of fresh wood and design, we could tell it was recently renovated. So far so good. But right before bedtime, I discovered a bedbug crawling on a leg of the kitchen table. We immediately notified reception and once they opened at 9am, staff came to confirm the bedbug and address the problem by steam treating the exposed brick wall. They did not seem surprised at all. However, that very night, we opted to book a room at a hotel in Nîmes for our remaining two days and my only regret is that we didn’t stay here for our entire stay. Upon hurriedly checking out with our two young children to first head to the laundromat to incinerate our luggage and belongings, Marc refunded us the cost of our entire stay with a shrug for our discomfort and inconvenience. Word to wise: the staff know they have a bedbug problem. And unless you want the same, don’t stay here. Choose wisely and choose a differently. Choose Appart’City in Nîmes instead.

The property was very clean, Eduard was really nice, the only problem is there is NO ELEVATOR and it was really hard to go 3 stories up and down with the suitcases, if you have problems with steps or if you are handicapped this place is NOT for you.

The apartment was in excellent condition and clean. When we arrived in Marseille at the train station we were very concerned as there was garbage and filth everywhere. It turns out there was a strike or protest and garbage was not being picked up. We actually followed google and walked to the rental office. The person at the office was concerned that our first impression of her home town was not great. She assured us once we settled in our opinion would change. She was right! We fell in love with the apartment and it’s location as well as Marseille. We were only there for 4 nights but would like to return in the future and spend more time. There are many excellent places to dine within a short walk. Several transit options and activities are also within a short walk. It really is a great location being so close to the old port. The apartment had everything you could need for a long stay.
