The door lock did not work right from the inside trying to get out, would spend a few minutes just trying to get out of the room. There was also supposed to be a bathtub and there was not one.

The room was very dated and not in good shape! They said there would be a continental breakfast, which is the reason I picked this place and there was no such thing. In fact when I went down for breakfast, I sat at a table to be served and nobody showed up or even in the area for 10 minutes so I left. The gym had plenty of treadmills, but the weight station look like it was one of the first ones ever made and was missing parts. Very large hotel and looks like at one point. It was a great place but seems understaffed and under loved.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the pool and fitness room. Unfortunately the hotel itself kind of seemed to need a little rehab, or at least a deep clean. In dim lighting things seemed okay, but when the sun came up it was a little different story. Also, the temperature in the shower didn’t get above vaguely warm, and the drain closed itself during showers, resulting in standing water. The last thing to note is one of the perks to this hotel was the airport shuttle, which turned out to be something this location didn’t offer.

The room was nice, we had a room that overlooked the HVAC system which was fine for a 1 night stay. I thoroughly enjoyed Anthony at the front desk, he is kind and very helpful. There was a lot of noise, I assumed it was because we were near the ice machine, great tv options and connecting to the internet was easy.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last couple of times that we have been in the area and have no complaints. The hotel and rooms need renovations specially the furniture and carpets but it is clean. Staff has been helpful and courteous. We will be back.

No beach view at this hotel. Our room, 224, did not have water views. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly. They greeted us each time we entered the lobby. However, the wait staff in the lounge was lacking knowledge of what the kitchen had to offer and was not familiar with their menu, which was interesting because we stayed at the Delta Marriott Chesapeake VA before a couple of months ago, and the menu was the same as was the same staff we experienced during our last stay there!

Room was spotless other than a suspicious stain on the sheets that we did not notice until LATE at night. It was obviously an OLD stain so it was not an issue and not the kind that would have caused an “ick” factor lol!

The weather was VERY cold and the room temp struggled to keep up. But for one night it wasnt an issue.

We WILL stay there again!!!

1. My son walks with crutches.
2. When I checked in I requested extra towels and a shower chair. They got me the chair about 45 minutes later No Towels. I asked the man that brought the chair for towels too. I’m not even sure if he understood English but either way we went out for dinner and got back after 11 still no towels. Then went to bed and did not sleep because the toilet ran all night. I ask hotel for a refund but they were unable because it was third party booked with Expedia.

Shower in 616 backed up both days of use and smelled like sewage. Well, probably I have a different standard when it comes to hotels; I have always stayed at Hyatt place when I’m here ; but this time we are staying here for just one day as we are on our way to Disney; the hotel, I think, needs renovations; room tv looks like it’s 20 years old; lobby floor looks unsanitary; beds are too small; overall I don’t think I will come back to this place again; also I believe the staff is probably nice but had no communication with them.

We had a KingSize bed and checked in around 2:30 on a Friday and dropped our bags in the room and went out for the rest of the day. Got back around 10pm getting ready for bed only to find that house keeping staff had put a twin fitted sheet on the bed and then covered it up. Went to front desk asked house keeping to bring a correct sized sheet. 39 min later no staff. They then had the gall to ask me what time I had checked in. Why would that matter. Asked and received a new room around 11:30pm. In addition bathroom ceiling covered up a hole with drywall panel as a cover. Panel was falling down.

Keep it fresh

My girlfriend and I spent a delightful weekend at the hotel. While most aspects of our stay were fantastic, there was one minor issue that is worth mentioning. Despite our request for the sheets to be changed during our time away at a wedding, the hotel staff only provided us with fresh towels, which we certainly appreciated. We were there for a total of three days, and aside from this small oversight, our experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

The bartender, Rhianna, was exceptional, and the three front desk employees were equally wonderful. There was one staff member in particular whose name I didn't catch, but every time he saw us, he had a kind word that made a real difference in our stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would not hesitate to return in the future.
