I expected much more for the price paid. The location is very good, as the hotel is situated only a few meters from the central station. The rooms, including the bathrooms, are spacious; however, the furniture is outdated and not particularly aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast quality is below average, and the dining room lacks a cozy or welcoming atmosphere.
This is just a personal anecdote that did not influence my review: I was actually scolded by a staff member for drinking “too much” bottled water. It was a surprising and somewhat negative experience, even though I chose to laugh it off.

Check your towel is clean.

The worst house keeping I have ever had.
Left my towel on the floor along with the floor towel.

The cleaner put the floor towel back on the shelf and my towel folded back on the radiator.

Didnt even bother to swap for a new one after both were clearly left to swap over.

The hotel is the other side of the railway from the town centre so has to be reached by tunnel under the station - the nearest one is ok but the next one was not nice and there were people begging outside the supermarket next to the hotel. The hotel, however is fine - my room was large enough with fridge and good wardrobe and although my room looked down on the railway platforms I didn't hear anything when the window was closed. I would use it again.

The organic market next to the hotel helps a lot. Breakfast is excellent. Breakfast is free for kids. There is kettle and refrigerator in the room. The room space is amazing among Europe hotels. Join their membership can have free high speed Wi-Fi and city transport card. I would like to stay again when visiting Bonn.

I have stayed in a number of the Intercity hotels. As with the others, this hotel combines a good standard with a competitive price. The rooms are of a decent size and are well equipped. The breakfast option is good, and there is a wide variety of choices. I particularly liked the fact that the rolls and croissants were warm and freshly baked. Staff are friendly and informative. Transport links couldn't be better.

많은 리뷰들이 있는데 진짜로 괜찮아서 쓴 리뷰가 맞는지?
일단 일주일동안 묵었고 그 동안 있었던 것 다 기록할테니까 부디 참고하시고 더럽든 무섭든 피하는 쪽을 선택하시길. 이는 5에서 다양한 에피소드로 다룰 예정.

1. 영어발음이 후지고 불친절한 직원들^^
딱 한 명 빼고 다 별로였는데 만약 취소하지 못할 상황이라면 꼭 그 친절한 직원을 만나길 바랍니다.

2. 수건에서 암내 쩌는 냄새가 난다. 진짜 역겨움. 호텔이라고 해서 수건 안 챙겨갔는데 결국 가서 사서 씀. 모든 수건이 다 그러하니 어떠한 기대도 마시길.

3. 싸구려 통합형 어매니티.
샴푸와 바디워시가 통합된 형태. 머리 개털되고 싶으면 있는거 쓰세요. 이거도 결국 사서 씀.

4. 토일렛? 토우웩!
타일 사이사이에는 샤워기로 한 번만 슥 뿌려도 흐르는 물때가 잔뜩 껴있음. 정말 역겨움.

5. 대응이 정말 줘까틈

(1) 히터와 에어컨 기능의 장치가 있는데 창문을 잘 여닫지 않으면 작동이 안됨. 그 불친절한 직원이 원래 환기만 되는거라고 구라를 갈김. 사용설명서를 읽어봐도 납득이 안 되서 다른 직원한테 문의했더니 충분한 설명 후 바로 해결. 한겨울인 날씨에 맨다리로 다녔던 나였지만 호텔에서는 진짜 얼어죽을뻔.

(2) 들어가자마자 이런저런 호텔 상황에 많이 빡쳤지만, 아무리 컴플레인해도 못 알아듣는 척 해서 그냥 포기하고 지냄. 커튼이랑 이불 상태와 토우웩 상태에 대해서 설명했지만 다음날 대응은 내 방 청소 무시와 정 니가 필요하면 다른 방을 주겠다며 바로 옆옆방 제공. 왜 이런 사태가 일어났냐고 물어보니 다른 직원이 게으르다는 것을 핑계로 댐.

* 이 많은 후기들이 진실이라면 나는 내가 부당한 대우를 받았다는 킹리적갓심이 든다.

첫 해외여행이라 모든 호텔이 그런줄 알았는데 다른 호텔 가보니 정말 다르더라. 다시는 본 근처도 가고 싶지 않다. 정망 많은 추억이 있는 독일이지만 죽을때까지 다시 오지 않을 생각이다. 소중한 여행을 망치고 싶은 자 꼭 방문하시길.

I booked a room with a double bed, but was given one with two small single beds. There's no coffee machine in the hotel or kettle in the room, so couldn't get tea before bed or coffee before breakfast, which was inconvenient having flown in from overseas :( The breakfast is reasonable; there's just one coffee machine for the whole room, but if you hunt for them, you can get thermos jugs from the staff stations.

Stayed for 3 nights over Christmas. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was very clean, bed was very comfy, water pressure was good and there was very little noise.

I appreciated and chose the Green Option to not have my room cleaned daily. I also appreciated and took daily advantage of the 3 day InterCity Train Transport ticket the hotel provided. Location was excellent, 2 minutes from Bahnhof, 5 minutes from great bakeries, lunch places and beer vendors.

Well priced hotel and a very pleasant stay, highly recommend.

Front desk receptionists aren’t as friendly

So glad to be back to this IntercityHotel again since my last German trip a few years back. Great location by the Bonn Hauptbahnhof train station. However, the receptionists weren’t very friendly. With several encounters, the lady didn’t smile even once at all. I also noticed that the guests in front of us were more friendly than the lady receptionist. Certainly made us not feeling very welcome as last visit.
Fortunately, the room has been updated nicely since my previous stay. The business style of the room is quite spacious with a desk and little coffee table and chairs. Although the chairs are quite hard which made sitter to be sitting straight and could not be relaxing. There’s a nice well stocked little refrigerator. The bed sheet was crisp. But the pillows were way to soft. I loved the towels imprinted with the title of the hotel. A nice 👍 new touch. I always enjoyed the compliment Voucher for the public transportation which complimented the hotel rather higher price tags.
Unlike most of the same grade hotels we’ve been staying during this 4 weeks European trip, the shower room is tightly sealed which prevents water 💦 leaking. It did took some finger muscle gripping to get the shower door to open though. Unfortunately, the ac made lots of wind noise and couldn’t be adjusted to as cool as outside. Pro- Very central. Clean and plenty of power outlets in the room. The two chairs were firm and most comfortable. Some staff were helpful. Free bus/metro ticket. Internet very fast and free.

Con- It is so central that it is literately part of the central station and is located on platform 5. The noise of the trains and announcements was unbelievable. This made the windows impossible to have open for fresh air, and the double glazing was not able to block this noise out. You need to upgrade to an identical sized room in order to move to the other side, where the noise is less bad but still audible. Although they appear in the room photo, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The reading lamp didn't work. The towels were poor. The bed was like a bouncy castle and hurt our backs, we had to put the mattresses on the floor to sleep. The TV is fixed to the wall above the desk area, rather than on the bare wall to the side, and so if one person uses the table, the other cannot watch TV. Some staff were unpleasant. Badly under-staffed. When we arrived the person manning the bar was also watching the main desk. When we noticed the broken lamp on a Friday at 3pm, we were told the technician had gone home and would not be back until Monday. The person on the desk could not look into it as they were alone and could not leave the front desk. I cannot see how this qualifies as a 4 star hotel.

Good hotel will benefit from enthusiastic staff

The proximity of this hotel to the main Bonn train station is an attraction. The rooms are also clean and adequately serviced. Perhaps the motivation levels of the staff could be improved. I can only describe my check-out experience as a combination of disdain and disinterest. If this hotel was to introduce an automated check-in and check-out service with no need for interaction with staff, it will rate even higher.

Nice hotel but disorganised.

On the whole this was a nice hotel and close to city centre. The down side was that when we checked in and went to our room we found it already occupied. We were then given another room that had a double bed but was made up for one person, single duvet, one pillow, one towel. Then on check out they tried to charge us for breakfast which was included in our booking. We also found it disappointing that as a four star hotel no kettle, coffee or tea facilities were in the room.

The hotel was a perfect location for my trip and is recommended. It's location is right on the side of the railway station and easy access to the bus network as well. noise here wasn't a problem.
bus from the airport drops you off close by.

The room condition itself was good. But their service was not organized. We booked a room for two but I guess they prepared only for one. Not enough towels and small blanket. We realized it only after midnight so didn't bother to call front desk. In addition, cleaning staff almost opened out roon door when we were still on bed in the morning.
