Hotel has a good location with easy walking access to restaurants and sites of interest - we used the municipal car park which is underground and directly opposite the hotel but it is expensive - circa 25 euros per night.
The bedroom was small - not much room for a suitcase.

Decent place. The rooms are a bit sparse and cheap feeling. Our non-smoking room didn't smell but the hallways, lobby, and lobby spaces reek of old smoke. Walkable (5-10 mins) from the main dining areas but would probably pay a little more to upgrade to a closer hotel that doesn't smell. Reminds me of being a kid in hotels from 20 years ago.

We brought our dog and she got a welcome pack and gift, which included local vet info in case it is needed. Good location to have a walk around town and find dinner. Bike lockers much appreciated. The hotel is perfect for visiting the avenue and the town, there is a public car park underneath which if you validate your parking within 24hrs is pretty cheap, €14 for 48hrs. The rooms are small but you’re only sleeping there. My only real issues were the towels are small and thin and you only get two, also the mattress has a kind of plastic protector on which makes it very hot to sleep. The sheet isn’t big enough so moves in the night and you end up sleeping on plastic.

The hotel position was perfect for exploring around Epernay and although there was no parking at the hotel, the Centre Ville parking was just across the square.

Rooms are a bit small but manageable, and amenities were not great (only 2 towels with no hand towels, i.e.).
The hotel is currently under renovation, which was not mentioned when we booked (although we booked a while ago), and there is some serious noise going on between 8 am and 6 pm.

This property was a nightmare. Rooms are impossibly small, no where to put any of your suitcases et c. The towels were dirty with brown stains. It’s currently under construction- I emailed before I came asking if this would be noisy as I have work I need to do over zoom and need quiet and was assured that it would not disturb me. I have email proof of this response from the hotel. They were literally hammering above my head from 8am on. I called down to ask if there was anything I could do- The staff was extremely rude, especially Amelie. I asked to speak to a manager, she said they would be there in 10 minutes. I asked again an hour later and she told me no, she would not get the manager for me and refused to help me any further. Extremely unprofessional and with other hotel options in the area, I don’t know why anyone would choose to stay here. Avoid it like the plague.

Good location in the centre of . Standard IBIS accommodation with good shower and large comfortable bed. Breakfast fast was Ok. There is no on site parking, but there is a good underground safe carpark 2 minutes walk away from the hotel. The cost for 2 days was approx 13 euros and tickets can be bought from a machine or from English speakingthe receptionist at the car park ( the easiest option).

Despite Covid and few people in hotel we were given a tiny room next to elevator. Very noisy. Hotel is ridiculously basic. The room and bathroom were clean but too small. Would not recommend staying in Epernay l at all. Restaurants were not great and even booking three weeks out could not get in. Fine as a day trip from Reims but not worth staying overnight.

Good location. Bedroom and bathroom are quite compact, clean and comfortable . Nice bed linen. Staff friendly and helpful. Pleasant Continental breakfast and boiled eggs, very clean dining area. Not a luxurious hotel but nonetheless comfortable and useful for 1/2 night stay and not expensive. Large secure underground car park two minute walk away.

The hotel was a place to sleep and nothing more. Rooms are recently remodeled and there is still construction going on. Biggest complaint was— our toilet was dirty when we walked in. It was all relatively ok for the cheap price of the room. Location was good as everything in Épernay is walkable.

Perfect for central stay with our small dog. (5€/night) Excellent secure underground parking, (12€ for 48hours) . Hotel & room clean, comfortable and functional. This hotel is right in the centre of Epernay, fantastic location and off the road so quiet. However the facilities in the room are really basic - no tea and coffee facilities and the hairdryer was out of the arc! Still it was clean, bed comfortable and serves a purpose.

Stayed here the last 3 days of our 3-week trip. Comfortable room but we were on the square side of the hotel so there was a lot of noise and the smell of cigarettes when we left the window open. Parking was also an issue, and the hotel can do a better job telling you where there is parking. We found free parking several blocks away up into the hills on our own, but the hotel should have a flyer that has all of that information.

Great location to explore Champagne region

This was the first night of a week long tour around Europe. An Ibis always delivers the basics well. I cannot fault the cleanliness of the room. Basic but functional. We parked on the street outside the hotel, this was perfect as it was free overnight on the Saturday and we were only there for the evening. The immediate surroundings were concrete ugly but a few steps away and it became a very pleasant town. Coffee shops and Patisserie ideal for a breakfast on the go.

Parking system is ridiculous as you pay €9 per 24hrs for a non-Ibis car park where you can only get a ticket for 24hrs at a time and must move your car after each 24hrs.

Great for a 3* hotel, very clean and very helpful reception staff. Only slight gripe was the noise in the morning from others checking out and the cleaners hoovering outside the door - walls seem very thin. Parking was easy and should only cost E12 max for a few days in the underground opposite (lost ticket price). Ate at Chez Max & Kobus, both excellent, would recommend pre-booking each.

Enjoyed Epernay although arriving on a winter weekend was a \"rookie error\". We did find some a couple of excellent patisseries and a visit to Le Darjeeling restaurant and tea house is a must. Hotel was fine for a 2 night stay, however a little impersonal. Look forward to returning in the summer months.

My husband and I stayed at the Ibis Epernay for 2 nights in October during our 3 week trip around France. It was a last minute booking on what we learned was a public holiday in France and so everything else had already booked up. Overall, the room was pleasant and good value for money. It is in a great central location, an easy walk to Avenue de Champagne, where all the big champagne houses are, such as Moet & Chandon, Perrier & Joet and Pol Roger, and close to the tourism office where we took a 1/2 day wine tour from. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries etc close by. We had a hire car and whilst there is no parking offered by the motel there are metered parking bays close by. It turned out to be good budget option that allowed us to splurge on the important things, good food and good champagne!

There is nothing better than average about this hotel. Its perfectly fine as a base for the champagne region which is beautiful. Rooms were clean if a little tired looking. I was not able to open my skylight so the room was too warm at times but other than that it was fine.

This was a stab in the dark with friends who had not visited the area. The Hotel proved to be very convenient for visits to the major champagne houses and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were comfortable, clean and just what we needed after a long drive from the UK.

A good basic hotel.

The hotel was ideal for an overnight stop whilst driving through France. The hotel was clean and comfortable with no problems. Although not booked they provided a baby cot without difficulty. Breakfast was good.
There is no hotel car parking but there is good street parking adjacent to the hotel with no charge between 6pm and 9am.
Restaurant facilities in the area are a bit limited.

Epernay is the centre of the champagne region and the Ibis is ideally located in the centre of town, in walking distance to all of the great champagne houses. We stayed for two nights and after a day of tasting champagne and touring the hotel was a joy to return to! The food is good in the hotel (especially breakfast), however there are many excellent local restaurants right on your doorstep! I recommend the Ibis Epernay.
