Great stay, it’s a short stroll into the centre , loads of on site parking and it’s very safe and secure. The reception staff were lovely , very warm and friendly. The rooms are simple but everything you need and very clean. A good bargain stay that was perfect for accessing epernay centre and the wider region. Merci .

Everything was good except our toilet did not work every time. It was like it would not refill with water each time - we got them to check it out and of course it worked for them but it did once for us too and then not again we then used public toilet in complex which did not have any soap or hand towels.

Ok for a flying visit (arrived 11pm and left at before 7am next morning) extremely basic but fairly clean and bed was comfy. Staff helpful. a bit smelly throughout the hotel, musty smoky smelling. Bathroom is like a caravan bathroom, a sort of plastic wet room built into the room as an afterthought.

It was ok for the money and a flying stopover…

A low cost option for staying near the centre of Epernay.
The room is small, but equipped just fine, with a comfortable bed and welcoming staff.
Breakfast was rolls and croissants on a help yourself basis.
Overall, very good value!

We needed a place to stay overnight to break up our journey. This was just right for our needs - reasonably-priced, safe, and 24 hour reception so you can arrive anytime. The hotel was quiet and we were happy staying there with children. We would stay again.

It was really hard to communicate with the people on front desk as nobody spoke any English. The rooms felt relatively clean, but the showers were filled with other people’s hair, telling me the cleaning standards weren’t great. It was a peaceful night though and okay for an overnight stop whilst driving through France, but not sure I’d want to stay any longer.

The hotel is ok. We were looking to break up the journey back to the UK so needed somewhere to stay for the night and this hotel was cheap for two of us for one night. When we arrived we went up to our room but it hadn't been cleaned yet. The receptionist was helpful though and moved us to another room. The hotel is basic and the room/bathroom quite small but was clean enough. The town is a 10 minute walk and has a McDonalds and Burger King very close by. For a short stopover it is fine.

Truly tiny rooms

This must be one of the cheapest ways of seeing Epernay, which is great, but make no mistake about it, this is a budget hotel. This is particularly demonstrated by the size of the room. It was the smallest I have ever stayed in. So it was not comfortable to squeeze two of us and a dog in and have room to move around. The en-suite was similarly tiny.
But the hotel did its job - provided a quiet place to stay as a transit stop, with helpful staff. Would I use it again? I am not sure, as it did require maybe too many compromises! On the other hand, as one reviewer observed, it did allow us to drink a bottle of champagne with dinner!

This hotel was great value for the money, but it was a little jaded and needs some attention. The biggest problem was the fact that guests were smoking everywhere , even on our non smoking corridor and rooms, which I didn’t like.
The staff however were exceptional and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was well placed for location, lots of restaurants about 10 minutes away. Beds were comfortable. Coffee machine in foyer most welcome. Plenty of parking on site.

Stay w tolerance!

It's one of the most economical hotel by the town of epernay, walkable to train station, long walk to town and Ave of champagne. The rooms r filled with heavy smells of cigarettes, it's not strictly enforced. The maid are terrible, they just bombarded into the room every morning without checking the list if the guest is checked out!

Last-minute need to find a hotel — and we were very happy with the results. We made the reservation about 8:30 PM, then got a message that the front desk closed at 9:00, and we still way over 1/2 away. We called the hotel and was assured that the front desk is open 24 hours... and the delightful attendant gave us wonderful address and directions — not quite what is on the website. Happy with stay and service, especially Fauston!

Perfect for an economy stay in Epernay. This is your small, compact, basic accommodations like Ibis. Everything you really need, nothing you don't. Better to take advantage of the good value here and spend the money on the better vintage champagnes you've come here for in the first place.

Very small room and even smaller bathroom. Not a lot of room to put anything. TV does not have a single English channel which was a bit disappointing. OK for a brief one night stop-over.
The location is quite handy for the town and plenty of parking at the hotel. The breakfast was very disappointing with a lack of choice and the worse coffee I have ever tasted.

No-frills value for money hotel

We stayed here for 2 nights after finishing our London to Paris bike ride, so were happy to see they have bike parking. They also have lots of free car parking. It's located in a fairly industrial/commercial part of town, and a 15-20 minute walk into downtown Epernay.

For the price, I would say it is good value. You're not paying to be close to the action, or have laundry or dry-cleaning services, or a fancy breakfast, or a spacious room..... you are saving your money for the champagne, right?

Large/tall people, take note that the bathroom is teeny tiny. It was like trying to shower in an airplane bathroom :-)

This is a good hotel for the price. Easy access from highways etc to see the sights of Epernay. Location is okay, but I wouldn't walk into town to restaurants, as it is a little far and I am unsure of the safety of the area if walking alone at night. The hotel is a budget hotel, with the price to match the quality. No issues here. Breakfast was good, the free WIFI connection was also good, as was the car park. Room was clean, small, and basic, but you get what you pay for.

This is one of the better Premiere Classe properties. Everything seemed just a bit larger, cleaner and better maintained than at some other properties in the chain. More like a good mid range hotel than one of a budget chain and the staff were lovely. The wifi is ok, but you keep having to log back in all the time.

This is one of the better Premiere Classe hotels I have stayed in. It has all the regular features typical of this chain, yet seems more like a mid range hotel, father than a budget one. My only complaint was that I had to keep reconnecting to the wifi as it disconnected whenever I wasn’t actually using it. I would choose to stay there again.

I didn’t hold high hopes for this place but was pleasantly surprised. I was making my way back to England and wanted to visit Epernay. The hotel was easy to find and has plenty of parking. The rooms are fairly basic but well laid out with a very comfy bed and nice bedding. They recommended a good restaurant in the town centre which was only a 10 minute walk. I’d stay again if in the area

Couldn't sleep due to the temperature. Couldn't open the window because it was -4 degrees outside... Choice between freezing cold or sauna hot. Don't stay on the third floor, the rooms collect heat and there's no air conditioning.

BUDGET HOTEL CLOSE TO CENTRE

You get exactly what they advertise it to be. It is a Budget hotel so very basic but very clean. Breakfast good value help yourself. All staff we encountered were very helpful Close enough to walk to the center in the evening so you are able to drink if you want. Close to the train station, we took a trip to Riemes which was really easy. Perfect priced stop over hotel for up to 7 days as not much space for clothers if you were to stay for longer. Very happy with it.

We have used this hotel for a few years and it is in an ideal location for holidaying in the champagne region. The secure car park gives piece of mind when you have bikes on the vehicles.

We needed a place not too far from Paris but close enough to Verdun to make a day trip there. This hotel fit the need nicely. It was clean, compact, with comfortable beds. And, it was quiet at night. We enjoyed it and got a kick out of the ingenious space-saving bathroom, which was similar to the bathroom you'd find in an RV.

It is one step up from a formula 1 but it is not a very big step. The eat all you can breakfast is nothing to write home about. A choice of 2 cereals some bread and that is about it.
The bathroom is to say the least compact and bijou and when the shower is freezing cold at 7am. Not a good start to the day

Perfect for low budget stay in and around Epernay. Small rooms but enough for 3 in each. First room smelled of cigarette, but no problem to change to other room - nice and helpful staff at all times of the day.

This was a one night stopover driving home from a skiing holiday. The neighbourhood was therefore pretty irrelevant.
Incredibly good value for a simple but comfortable family room, breakfast was an extra cost but again very good value. Only downside was that on arrival they had'nt got it on record that we had paid in advance but soon sorted out.

Beautiful town, loved Champagne Ave. Le Prestige Burger was well worth the walk from the hotel. Be sure to book your Champagne tour in advance, check on-line for dates available BEFORE you go. The hotel had friendly enough staff, the language was a barrier with the younger staff, but overall had a great experience.

Made a mistake booking this as was aiming to be in Reims! But it wasn't so far off the motorway and was an easy drive back on it. Nice staff and the hotel overall was fine.
