The property was a little weathered and dated but the staff, ocean views, and breakfast were amazing and we would definitely stay again. Next time we would pay a little more to have ocean views as the hotel is so close and overlooking the water! We would bring our son next time too, they have great walking trails and playground. Loved the sauna and steam room too.

Indoor pool was nice just needs a couple degrees higher. Beds and pillows too soft for us. The old man at the bar didn’t make it comfortable when asking for ice from the bar but the rest of crew and all worker’s in the hotel are excellent. Of course the best view on the rocks and water that’s why this is our third time here. I think this is a great hotel but Most likely next time in Algarve will try a different hotel

Fantastic view from balcony of secluded ocean cove. About 15 minute pleasurable walk to boardwalk. Many good restaurants a short walk away. Breakfast buffet was excellent and varied. Outdoor pool had wonderful view of ocean also. Will stay again.

The hotel provided an excellent experience, boasting a prime location and commendable service. The rooms were impeccably maintained. However, the hotel restaurant presented a significant challenge. Despite booking a day in advance for our group of four families, the dining experience was subpar. We encountered a 1.5-hour wait for our food, which was ultimately disappointing in both quality and portion size. Furthermore, the restaurant's policy of offering only one serving of certain menu items per evening, such as the Wellington steak, meant that if a dish was ordered by an earlier guest, it became unavailable for subsequent patrons throughout the night. Other than this everything was excellent.

During our stay, I had a sudden health issue that required an emergency visit. Since we don’t speak Portuguese, Luminita immediately called multiple hospitals on my behalf, spending over an hour until she found a private hospital in Faro that could see me. She even lent me her personal phone so I could reach my insurance company in Canada.
The next day, when I needed a follow-up appointment, Mariana kindly helped me again by contacting the insurance company to make sure everything was approved. Later, when we checked out, we realized there was a mistake on our flight ticket. Mariana patiently contacted the airline and airport until the issue was solved.
The service here was beyond exceptional—every staff member we met was professional, patient, and truly guest-oriented. The resort itself is stunning, with the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with high-quality food and even champagne to enjoy.

We had a great stay at Tivoli. The hotel has beautiful views over the bay and I would recommend getting a sea view room. The breakfast is also delicious and lots of options. The staff are very attentive and friendly. 10 min walk down into Carverio and lots of nice restaurants nearby. The one restaurant in the hotel is also definitely worth a visit. The gym is open 24/7 and is very nice and well equipped.
My only points of improvement are that the air con in our room was not strong enough and the mini bar fridge was also not cold enough. Also they had a wedding on the friday evening which takes place in the sky bar and is very loud for all the surrounding rooms - whilst not necessarily a problem as it ended around 11pm there was no pre warning or communication from staff about how late the wedding would go on to this would have been an easy thing to do and would allow people to plan their evening better.

This was the most breathtaking hotel with a view I have ever seen! The staff was great upon arrival. We arrived 1 1/2 hours early and were able to spend some time at the bar and take in the view till our room was ready. We were also able to leave our luggage at the front while we went to cliff jumping prior to checkout.

Not as expected at all ! We paid around $750.00 per night . We did not get a sea facing room , which was a bummer ! Also the surrounding area is very good and they show only those pics , we were not all impressed with the rooms . Not happy at all after paying so much for the room !

The hotel location was beautiful. The room was large and very clean, but the hotel halls themselves were being worked on at the time of our stay and were not that clean. The food at the hotel bar was mediocre, but the breakfast was very good. It was unfortunate you could no longer access the beach and this was not disclosed prior to our stay.

The service was poor during breakfast. It was slow and we were not sure if it was just them ignoring us because we were not caucasian because everyone else around us was being served so promptly. At some point we got so tired of waiting, we just took the pot of coffee and served ourselves, nothing wrong with that its just a little upsetting when you see how they treated the other guests versus my family.

It is a beautiful and scenic hotel with wonderful views that is large enough to find quiet spaces if you are an adult without kids but also seems to accommodate children very well. Breakfast is excellent and the staff at the hotel are friendly and attentive. The concierge Ines was so helpful if arranging boat excursions, dinner reservations and car rentals. The property is walking distance to town and also to many other beaches. An excellent choice for staying in this area
