Easy parking. Good check in and delightful staff. Landscaping was excellent and well maintained. The main pool was really nice with a reasonable number of sunbeds. There was however, a second pool which was somewhat grim which faced a massive retaining wall.
The accomodation itself was fine, if a bit dated. Spacious living/kitchenette area. Reasonable bathroom and bedroom whjich was comfy enough. The room description stated 'river view', which wasn't entirely accurate. THe apartment was somwhat overlooked. You could see into the adjoining apartments (and vise versa) very easily.

Misleading “Resort” – Overpriced, Poor Service, and Unwelcoming Atmosphere

Vitor’s Village is not a resort—it’s an extended stay apartment complex with pools. If you’re expecting a full-service, relaxing experience, this is not the place.

There is no food or drink service at the pools. Pool towels are not provided, and you're told not to bring room towels, which are only replaced every two days, with linens changed every three. Housekeeping was inconsistent—I had to call for basic cleaning, and on one occasion, despite staying in the room, no one came. I was falsely told the room had a “Do Not Disturb” sign.

The apartments have an ant infestation, which I reported—nothing was done.

While Eduardo tried to help, his colleague was extremely rude and dismissive, making me feel like I was inconveniencing him for raising legitimate concerns. That same colleague made me feel like an unwanted guest, despite being a paying customer.

The gym is severely lacking, and overall amenities do not match the high cost. Speaking of cost, they clearly price gouge during festivals, charging luxury prices for basic accommodations.

We booked through a third party, and when I informed the manager that the agent had been trying to contact the property to assist with our complaints, he outright said:

\"I don't need to answer them. Why are they bothering me? They need to read their contract.\"

That level of unprofessionalism and disregard speaks volumes.

I would never stay here again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Vitor's Village. The property is beautiful and the public areas (reception, restaurant, pool) are all beautiful and well-maintained.

Pros:
- Beautiful property with lots of pool space.
- Close to both Portimao and Ferragudo.
- Friendly staff.

Cons:
- Not accessible. No elevators, most rooms require climbing stairs.
- Several missing amenities: pool towels, hair conditioner, dish soap, dish scrub brush.
- Room cleaning was not acceptable. The bottom of our shower curtain was mouldy, the toilet paper offered was paper thin, the couch has never been vacuumed (and had a smell), there was nothing to wash the dishes with, etc.
- Our bathroom looked nothing like what's pictured in the listing (it was very small).

To summarize, the resort is beautiful and safe. Next time we would opt to pay a little more for a nicer room and hope that the cleaning is better.

Several different levels of rooms across 5 3-story buildings. We booked the double room: had 2 twin beds with a small table in-between. The only lamp in the room had about a 40w bulb. There was one overhead light by the door. Room was very very small! There are no elevators. Where you park you had to walk across many sidewalks to get to your building. Breakfast (we booked included) was just OK. One nice thing was that they had a shuttle to town.

Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff.
Overall, great value for money.

Our sink kept blocking ..it was very noisy we had a walkway at the side of apartment and it was a constant flow of people arriving and departing at all hours especially early ..cleaning staff always outside our window with the trolly banging and no consideration for guests ..the bath taps ran very slow hen water taking ages to fill ..so sadley we felt very disapointed..and day one our towels were soiled

We’ve stayed here 3 times. The rooms are great, the pools are big and the pool area is cleaned each night.

Plenty of parking and a short walk to the brilliant town. The breakfast is very well priced and a good selection.

The hotel is just ok. The major downside is that there is no one that helps bring your bags/luggage to the rooms, which is annoying because the walkway isn’t even smooth so imagine dragging a 50 pound suitcase through the whole hotel on cobblestone. Mad. Then they’re so stingy with the towels. Like please is this a 4 star hotel or budget hotel?? Weird. Anyway I wouldn’t book again.

Like home away from home!

Even in April during the slower season, we appreciated the calm and peace of Vitor's. Great place to be away from the crowds, yet close enough to all the tourist hotspots using our rental vehicle. Lovely villas with central amenities we definitely made use of like the games room and self-serve laundry. Everything is so clean and in excellent condition, there was zero concern with regards to hygiene and care of the property.

This property is 3 stars at BEST. Outdated property, had a weird smell immediately as you walk into the room. Bathroom shower curtain and shower head was dirty and disgusting. Hairdryer did not work, asked for another one and it overheated and sparks started flying. Bed sheet smelled HORRID in one spot and pillows were dirty. You can hear everything, the family below us had kids that would start screaming, running, and pushing around furniture at 6am in the morning.

Service is very average. Again, this hotel is a 3 STAR HOTEL if I'm being kind. I rate it 2 stars. Would not recommend to friends or family. Was tricked with the \"4 star\" rating.

COULD USE IMPROVEMENT: 1. we paid for breakfast but my teenage son preferred to sleep in. I asked if I could prepare a small plate to bring to him and was told \"no\".
Not even a yogurt and piece of fruit! 2. we had to purchase a $10 towel to use at the pool
NOTE: the market near the front office sells drinks (beer, soda) at only ~$1 each. The bar sells the same drinks at 4x the cost. We learned to stock up!

Vitors village is a clean and comfortable place to stay. 5 minute walk to the small town of ferragudo and 15 minute walk to the beach, both of which are recommended. The hotel conprises a number of buildings housing a few rooms in each. The main pool did get a bit noisy with younger children at times, but we used the lower pool, which is more peaceful

The room was exactly as described. Very clean and spacious for two people. The pools are excellent and the small shop has essentials you forgot when doing your main shop.
Reception is clean and manned at all times with multi-lingual staff. Next time we come to the area for the motorbike circuit which is approximately 25mins away, we'll definitely use again.

They have 3 nice swimming pools but they do not provide towels for the pool! It would be so nice if they would add that amenity, otherwise you need to purchase it from the mini market. It’s a waste as most don’t know this and you likely won’t bring a wet towel on your onward journey!

The Resort was extremely well presented and the staff were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We enjoyed the view from the Skybar at night and the pool was gorgeous. A little walk away we found a restaurant with traditional Portuguese food which was incredible. So all in all a great stay.

Enjoyed our couple of days here, though thankful we were in the shoulder season as can imagine it would get very busy in the height of summer. We didn’t use the restaurant or shop, but saw that many others did (we made use of the kitchen in our unit instead). The only negative we had was that there aren’t pool towels. As many guests seemed to be European this is probably not a problem, but travelling from Australia we don’t tend to cary beach towels (luckily we had some small pack towels with us to see us through). Very friendly and helpful staff atcheckin and check out.

Not a bad place overall, but for us with kids, it wasn't ideal as there isn't alot going on if you want a kids club ect.

Breakfast - mixed quality - eggs, porridge, bread nice. Bacon was 80% fat and sausages tiny boiled cocktail mini sausages, the sausages and bacon are the cheapest quality money can buy. Plates and tea cups cold so food gets cold fast.

-Not enough sun chairs on Sat and Sun.

-You also have to bring your own towels

Which meant we had to spend over 50 euro on towels. Yes, it's an apt/hotel, but - bring your own towels - is not made clear and we don't usually bring towels to this standard of apr/hotel. We were told - ''most of our customers know this because they have been here before'' But one staff member let it slip, that this happens all the time with customers turning up having to buy towels!

Kids club is a lady in the bar with paint and a4 sheets of paper.

Pool entertainment was in total a 30 minute dance class, the only pool entertainment over our 7 day stay, it was good, but over too soon, and they disappeared fast.

Clean, well run, some staff friendly some less so. Lovely Bose sound system which as never turned on or when it was it was too low to hear the music.

Restaurant for evening meal was very good, tasty quality food, very happy, but it's a shame they don't apply the same standard to the breakfast.

Evening entertainment was excellent, especially guys on trumpets, but starts too early and place dead by 10!

Ate in the evening ordered steak dish had to send it back 3 times.

No secure place to leave luggage.

Sound insulation between apartments awful, - yes, the builder saved a few euros, but you can hear EVERY sound through the walls,...… !
No \"policing\" of the pool area, - the kids run wild and take over both pools, such that mostly a quiet swim is out of the question.

One night stay as we were attending a party and did not want to drive home. Arrived early but we were able to check in. Excellent welcome and customer service by receptionist. very informative and gave us a map to help us find our way around. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very nice gesture to have a welcome bottle of wine waiting. WIFI very good and plenty of satellite cannels on the TV. The bed was huge and very comfortable, good quality bed linen and the room was adequately furnished. Very clean bathroom with everything one would expect. Also had an iron and ironing board which is always useful. We didn't use it but saw there was a courtesy bus to the beach. Ideal place to stay for families. Breakfast next day was buffet service. Very well catered for with a good choice of food. Separate dining room for eating which avoided having to watch people trailing their plates and food around and kept everything clean and calm.Waiters were clearing plates as they came available. Everything run very well. Check out easy and no fuss. Would recommend Vitors Village and we will stay again when we are down this way.

Nice and comfy hotel

Stayed 7 nights with family. Hotel located in a beautiful area but fare to hotel location from airport is a killer. No frequent train running to close by train station. On a bus trip, it takes about 1hr40min.
Overall experience was good, almost every basic needs was provided in the apartment. Lidl not far away (15mins walk).
Breakfast cost on the high side, would have been much better if children eat free.

Loved our stay at Vitors! The hotel grounds and rooms were really modern, clean and only a close walk to the centre of Ferragudo.The breakfast buffet was well worth the money and the snack bar offered reasonably priced, food quality food too.

Our only negative was that we did from time to time get a slight smell of drains. It did only last momentarily and it is worth mentionioning that there was some surrounding works ongoing which could have led to it.

All in all, a brilliant hotel, well situated and is on our list to hopefully revisit next year.

Lovely and clean and Big!

We went away with our 2 kids (min Nov). We had a big apartment which was lovely and clean. It was quiet and some facilities were closed but we knew that before booking and it didn’t matter to us!
Weather was fab - about 20/21 degrees and just about warm enough for the kids to dip in the pool (but not me!).
We hired a car to get around but also walked straight from the apartment into the nearby Village and beaches. Lots of things to do - we went to The nearby caves and crazy golf.
We would definitely come back!

We stayed in november, we found out after arrival this is a holiday period in the algarve and a lot of businesses close down for the month.

Victors Village is an excellent resort, extremely well maintained grounds,, intact even in November it felt like they were cutting the grass every day.

There isn’t much around in Ferragudo, so I would recommend a car if you are staying here. There is a shortcut across from the hotel entrance which I’ll take you down to a square in Ferragudo I only found out about this from another guest, rather than walk the longer way (about 15mins), however it is scenic so I would recommend you do this at least one.

Bad points, towels only changed twice per week, if you want more these are an extra cost, and can’t be used at the pool so we ended up €45 in towels to use at the pool plus the cost of floats etc, again cannot be purchased at the hotel itself.

Overall, very good, Carla on reception was very nice and looked after us throughout, would definitely return.

Nice, clean hotel

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Amenities are good with multiple pools, one for small children. There is also a small park area (a couple little slides for small children) on the site. The on-site restaurant had good breakfast (didn't eat there for other meals). Our AC wouldn't turn on in one of our rooms and maintenance fixed it the next day. The hotel is within walking distance from a small town with shops and restaurants near the marina. I'd recommend it if you're staying the area.

We had a brilliant holiday and Vitor's Village was perfect for us and our three year old daughter. Friendly staff, lovely clean modern apartments, great pools and good food and short walk to Ferragudo Village with fantastic restaurants. Very close to great beaches too. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for extended stay, quiet

Very helpful staff especially on our late arrival. Our stay was short but we would go there again for an extended stay. Quiet, comfortable, great internet. Accessible easily to the area - shopping , beaches, restaurants, culture- by car and some walkable areas. Great pool.

Convenient and spotless hotel.

The hotel and surroundings were perfect for a relaxing holiday. There was a shortcut to the town just opposite the main door across some scrub land (about a two minute walk). The only downside to our stay was the fact that there is only one English tv station and as we got quite stormy weather for two days it got a bit repetitive watching the same thing over and over again. On the plus side I love reading and the hotel had the biggest library I have ever seen in a hotel.

Will be back.

Great location, short walk from village square and harbour.
The hotel was full, but still not too busy.
Staff were friendly and professional, everywhere kept immaculately clean.
Pool was ideal. With shallow pool for little ones, located within view of the larger pool - great if you have kids of different ages.

VITORS VILLAGE LITTLE GEM

VITORS VILLAGE is in a good location fab for families especially with small children not suitable for older people as high up location very steep for walking.
Beautifully kept rooms pools whole area within the village.
Friendly staff very clean loved the two entertaining on the saxaphone.
Felt very safe for all.

Brilliant location. Pool excellent. Room pretty standard but fine. Some staff great others less so (pool bar). Overall though we had a great week.
