Overall experience was good, staff were friendly and our requests dealt quickly and efficiently. Apartment was a good size and had most things needed for a beach holiday. Access to the beach easy by car (approximately 5mins), within walking distance to the harbor and city centre (10/15mins). Beaches also within walking distance (around 20/25mins)but with children might be tricky in the heat. Also a lovely public park with a cafe just opposite the apartment complex. Cafes and supermarkets nearby.

It is a nice location because it is just off the main strip of Praia de Rocha, so it’s quiet. But 1 towel per week, 1 cleaning per week, I had to argue to get an extra pillow, and the beds were bricks. Honestly, stay here if you want the absolute bare minimum, however, if you expect anything remotely above adequate, spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

Forts noticed was when arriving the parking was next to a trailer park area or a homeless camp, felt unsafe especially traveling with children. Room was dirty and appliances were old and dirty. Noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the ceiling lamp and walls. Ended up having to leave and paying extra to stay at a different hotel. Will not recommend this place at all.

Great & good value.

After reading the reviews, I decided to book the apartment. The staff were very friendly, helpful & great at answering all our questions & giving us directions. The apartment was extremely clean & had all the amenities needed for a holiday. I was expecting air conditioning, only some apartments have it, but it did have 4 patio doors, so there was plenty of airflow.

Nao entendo os comentarios que li sobre este estabelecimento. So pode ser tudo mentira.
Mobiliario bastante degradado.. Sofá rasgado. Cama mto pouco confortável.. Paredes tudo rachado e partidas .. Bem .. Muito muito low cost mesmo!!
Insuportável é mesmo o barulho do acampamento que está instalado à porta do estabelecimento. Zona Feia !!
Bem .. resumindo .. Nao recomendo!! Com um pouco de paciência e ao mesmo preço conseguem melhor.

Good place, but used to be much better

Apart-hotel in a modern building. Decent corona mitigation measures. Located near supermarkets and 15 minutes walking distance to the beach.
OK WiFi and TV.
Equipped kitchen but no exhaust so it can get smoky and smelly.
Every morning very early the roosters across the street will wake you.
There were some items leftover from the previous guest.
Sofa in very bad shape.

In my opinion it used to be much better for a much lower price but it's still a solid option.

Studio 17 are modern apartments in Portimao, with a shopping centre within walking distance. They are very good value for money, all equipped well, and very clean. The choice of tv channels could easily be improved,and ask for a sun facing apartment would be a good tip.

Awesome for the price!

For the price, this place rocks! Espresso machine in room, great location, photos of rooms greatly underestimate these rooms - they are so nice! New, modern finishes, full kitchen (no dishsoap) Reserve the 1 bedroom apt, its the same size as a studio and the studios are all on the first floor, which is miserable with no view and they're almost the same price.

SCUBA DIVING TRIP TO OCEAN REVIVAL

Excellent value for money. My apartment had been newly refurbished. Some friends even had air con....I just had a fan but didnt really need it in September. Free WiFi with no issues. A 20 minute walk down hill to Subnauta Dive Centre/4 Euro taxi ride.

Have everything what you need for self service. 15 min walk to pria de rocha beach who is absollutely brautifull! Have lots of nice restaurants by the beach. Only one minus is a farm next to the hotel where cox make a lot noses lol

Great hotel, great price.

An excellent base for our Algarve (and Alentajo) self drive tour.
There was plenty of parking around the hotel.

The one bedroom apartment was an excellent size with very comfortable firm beds.
There was a TV in the bedroom, bedside units with lamps and a small desk.
There are large sliding glass doors out to the balcony, and excellent 'black out' style blinds that generously overlap to ensure a dark room to sleep in. We couldn't get the bedroom balcony door to lock, but being in the end room 6 floors up meant that we would only really have had to fear spiderman or ninjas gaining access this way. The balcony doors from the lounge locked fine and the apartment door locked with four bolts if you turned the key four times.

The bathroom was a good size with toilet and bidet and a shower over bath, all in excellent condition.

The kitchen diner lounge was a good size with a big sofa (also a sofa bed) TV on an IKEA unit and coffee table.

There was no oven in the apartment, but the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and implements, kettle, fridge, hob, microwave, dining table with 4 chairs.

The wifi login process can be a bit clunky as you have to visit the landing page each time you connect and key in the details, but the connection was a good speed.

The price of this hotel is very good, and overall it represents excellent value for money in my opinion. I would definitely look at this hotel if staying in Portimao again.

i would recommend this sc apartment. spacious, clean. but i went for a break to rest in the apartment and could only watch 1 english channel. world news on repeat. i loved the apartment and the area especially the little park and local contiente mall. and priade rocha marina/beach. 5 euro in taxi. however sleep was non existent for me as dogs and cockerels were non stop day and thru the night was awful. its such a shame as the apartment was clean warm cosy and friendly staff. plenty of kitchen amenities but no tin opener. balconies were magnificent and got sun thru the windows of bedroom, lounge and kitchen all day.

clean and new place, incredible value for money

Stayed here for 10 nights during winter on a studio and was tremendously pleased.

The place looks new, everything is spotlessly clean and the location is good to visit the city (10 min walking), shop for groceries (continente and lidl 5 m away and pingo doce about 10) and OK to visit Praia Da Rocha (15 min walking). Plenty of free parking spaces around.

The pool is small but clean, staff is very helpful, sheets were changed weekly and towels every other day. Regular cleaning daily. Longer stays might work differently.

No air conditioning, in the winter the rooms were not cold at all so I didn't miss it.

Flat screen TV with Portuguese and international channels (BBC, CNBC, RAI, RTL, etc). Good Wi-Fi everywhere with very good throughput. TV plays movies from USB storage and has HDMI socket.

All studios have 2 single beds (some have an extra bed on a very small isolated room and a balcony), an electric stove, a microwave, a small fridge with a freezer, a toaster, a kettle and all the utensils that are expected. Buying food is easy due to the location but there are also cheap places that serve meals and a food court at the shopping center.

The bathroom has a full size bathtub and looks almost brand new.

Mattresses were comfortable and the place was usually quiet (sometimes dogs would bark or the odd roster would be heard).

Overall this is a great place at a great price. I've since returned for longer stays and plan on doing it again in the future.

It was a last min thinking but i was surprised

I took a long drive from Lisbon city center a night before when i made a booking at this hotel the price was outstanding and very affordable i thought i'll go have a look but it was a beautiful place to stay. stayed at the 10th floor very nice view of the city would surely go back and would recommend. the only odd part was theirs no phone line in the room to contact reception. my bit !!!

I could easily live here. The building is about one year old and they manage the rental of most of the apartments (70) in it. Excellent staff, sun on the balcony, 15 minute walk to Roche Beach and the bars and restaurants. Very safe neighbourhood and they almost give the place away in the off season.

Unfortunately we did not read the fine print that not all rooms offered AC. We had to keep our sliders open to get cool air at night. Little did we know the hotel sat right across the street from an actual farm jn the middle of the city. The same farm with an extremely loud rooster, who did his thing at about 5:00AM every morning and would last for hours. No sleep for 3 days! Otherwise a very clean, spacious room. Bring ear plugs!

Fin beliggenhed i rimelig gå-afstand til det meste i byen. Jeg boede på 8. etage og havde en stor lejlighed med soveværelse med queenzise seng, køkken, stort badeværelse og terrasse med udsigt over omgivelserne.
Jeg tjekkede sent ind (pr. telefon), og det gik fint nok, men jeg savnede en flaske vand i køleskabet og et par kaffebrikker til kaffemaskinen som en basal velkomstpakke.
Eneste minus var naboens hane....

El piso está junto a chavolas, frente a un reformatorio. La cocina no funcionaba la campana y se formaba una increíble de humo cuando cocinaba. Las camas súper incomodas, creo que aún tengo las marcas de los muelles en la espalda y ni por hablar de los dos cojines que te dan por almohadas. No repetiré, prefiero pagar un poco más e ir a un sitio en condiciones.

Estadia boa, no geral, boas condições e boa localização, local exterior ( piscina ) com possibilidade para medidas de higienização. Para fazer check-in é necessário apresentar certificado de recuperação/vacinação ou realizar auto teste no local.
Apenas alguns pormenores que faziam a diferença, no local destinado para a manta ignífuga, estava apenas o local. A caixa de primeiros socorros continha material aberto, tudo usado e a torradeira provocava curto circuito, não podendo ser usada.

L appartement pourrait être très bien si, les matelas étaient de bonne qualité, impossible de dormir dessus sans y ajouter des couvertures pour cacher les ressorts. Et puis il y a peu d'ustensiles de cuisine, pas d'ouvre boîte par exemple, pas de passoire pour égoutter les pâtes. Dommage que les murs soient sales.pour le reste ca a été. Le personnel est sympa.

Ich bewerte das Hotel nach Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, Sollte das Hotel in der Saison einen 100 %-igen Aufschlag haben, dann ist es zu teuer. Aber natürlich, die Nachfrage bestimmt den Preis und da hat der Feriengast immer die No. 2 auf dem Rücken. Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel empfehlenswert - es ist sauber und kein Lärm, ideal nur zum übernachten.

O hotel é otimo. O serviço do Expedia é que não foi bom. Fiz a reserva e vcs cancelaram e, logo após, validaram de novo. O imposto pago na primeira transação não volta para o hóspede, mesmo com o cancelamento. Além disso, a cada conversão de moeda o hospede sempre perde. Quero entender porque vcs fizeram isso. Perdi mais de 50 reais.

Apartment Haus in dritter Reihe

Eine günstiges aber gut ausgestattetes Apartment Haus.
Wir hatten das Glück im 11ten Stock zu sein deshalb Blick zum Meer weiter unten sieht man nichts davon.
Sehr sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis aber nur mit Mietwagen wirklich zu empfehlen. zum Strand läuft man sonst schon 15-20 Minuten.
Mit dem Auto ist es super es gibt viele Parkplätze. Die Umgebung ist nicht so gepflegt und nebenan ist ein Gipsy camp, das hat mich aber wenig gestört. Für mich findet Urlaub außerhalb vom Hotel statt deshalb ist mir nicht so wichtig wie der Pool gelegen ist oder wie das direkte Umfeld ist. Mein Geld gebe ich lieber bei Ausflügen aus als für eine Zimmer in erster Reihe an der Strandpromenade.
Zumal es dort oft laut ist wegen der Diskotheken.
Im Studio 17 ist es ruhig, ab uns zu hört man mal ein Auto. Die Balkons sind riesig und bieten viel Platz zum Sonnen und draußen Essen.
Das Personal ist freundlich und spricht gutes Englisch.

Sehr zu empfehlen für Leute die ihren Urlaub nicht im Hotel verbringen sondern was unternehmen wollen und einen Mietwagen oder Roller haben.

Solides Hotel zum fairen Preis

Ich habe einige Tage in dem Studio 17 verbracht. Es befindet sich in einem Hotelkomplex mit vielen anderen großen Gebäuden, ist aber recht leicht zu finden. Die Lage ist ganz ok gewesen und alles recht gut erreichbar. Urlaubsgefühle kommen dort aber nicht auf. Aber dafür fährt man dann einfach weiter und es gibt in wenigen Minuten Fahrt tolle Orte zu entdecken. Einfach mal bei TripAdvisor schauen.
Ansonsten waren die Zimmer sauber, Badewanne vorhanden, freundliches Personal und insgesamt recht ruhig. Ich war allerdings auch in der Nebensaison dort und kann mir vorstellen, dass es in den anderen Monaten schon sehr laut sein kann.
Alles in allem aber ein recht solides Hotel zum fairen Preis.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Sauberkeit ist in Ordnung. Wenn man mit kleinen Fusseln ein Problem hat, sollte man sich vielleicht nach einer Alternative umschauen.

Das Zimmer (eher eine kleine Zwei-Zimmer-Wohnung) war geräumig.

Ich hätte mir noch einen Putzlappen und Spülmittel gewünscht. Aber dies kann man in nahe gelegenen Supermärkten für kleines Geld selbst kaufen.

Das Personal ist super nett! Konnten unser Gepäck auch vor Check In und nach Checl Out noch im Hotel lagern :)

Hôtel mal situé loin de tout nécessite une voiture, face à un camps de gitan, un centre social et des \"hlm\" touristiques... piscine très petite. Aucun service d'accueil, inutile de poser des questions. Ménage à revoir. Wifi qui fonctionne de facon aleatoire. Seul point positif la taille de l'appartement... je ne vous le conseille pas.

Super Séjour pour visiter l' Algarve

Belle surprise, immeuble tout neuf immeuble tout neuf , surclassé dans grand appartement 2 pièces tout confort bien équipé, grand balcon à 2 Kms de la magnifique plage de Praia Da Rocha une voiture est un plus pour visiter cette magnifique région qu'est l'ALGARVE.

Ruim appartement, groot balkon.

Ruim appartement met groot balkon. Voldoende ingericht. De haan en hond van de zigeuners het kamp beneden, maken je lekker vroeg wakker hmmm?! . Geen hinder verder van deze bewoners (zigeuners ) zelf.
Het bed was helaas vreselijk. De springveren pling en plong als je draait in bed. Mijn rug kwam vast te .
In de woonkamer stond een zit/ligstoel waar je een bed van zou kunnen maken. oeff niet doen. Was niet op te liggen
Er is ook nog een groot zit/slaapbank. die zit prima.
Het is verder een goede locatie om met auto de Algarve te verkennen. Met uurtje ben je oa aan prachtige westkust Aljezur. Vooral met warme dagen een aanbeveling ( temperatuur ligt daar minimaal tussen 6 en 10 graden lager dan in Portimão.) maar...dan heb je ook fantastische mooie stranden met flinke golven ! heerlijk. geweldig !

Erstaunliche Leistung für einen sehr guten Preis

Wir (2 Schwestern) mögen keine Strand-Ferienorte mit dem damit verbunden Rummel.
Deshalb hatten wir uns dieses Aparthotel ausgesucht. Die Lage war ideal für unsere geplanten Unternehmungen und zudem sehr preiswert.

Foi boa, apesar de alguns conta-tempos, a começar pela atribuição do quarto, falta de higiene no primeiro quarto atribuído. Apesar disto, esta situação foi retratada pela gerência de um modo cordial. Aceitei as desculpas.

points à améliorer :
la chaine tv 5 europe ne fonctionnait pas
il y avait des remontées d'odeurs lors des heures des repas provenant d'autres appartements (problème avec la hotte ?)

Günstiger Preis, große Wohnung, ruhige Lage.

Liegt 15 min Fußweg von Hafenpromenade und 30 min Fußweg vom Strand Rocha in einer Ansammlung von Hochhäusern. Die Ferienwohnung War sauber, sehr geräumig m großem Balkon. Supermarkt 10 Min Fußweg. Grosser Parkplatz.

Mooi appartement erg schoon

Alleen jammer dat je maar 1 keer schone handdoeken krijgt als je 8 dagen er bent en er word niet schoon gemaakt dit word 1 keer in de week gedaan.erg mooi en groot balkon

Apartamento amplio completo con cocina y terraza

Ha sido positivo y repetiré, todo esto caminando desde el apartamento tienes a 5 minutos el Continente, a 4 minutos de un Mini Precos, a 6 minutos de Pingo Doce, la cocica es completa, camas comodas, todo estaba limpio y con una gran terraza. Hay parada de bus urbano justo detras de los apartamentos que te lleva a cualquier sitio.

Leuk, schoon en goed uit zien.Netjes onderhouden en willen nog een keer komen. In elk geval beval ons wel!

Era para ser um fim‑de‑semana de descanso/relex

A minha estadia neste hotel apartamento já foi melhor, visto ser a 4ª vez que fico alojado aqui. O apartamento atribuido nº 207 até era espacoso, mas como fica virado ao norte nesta altura torna-se friu. Tem aquecedor a oleo mas muito fraquinho, não aquece o soficiente.O colchão da cama de casal estava bastante usado, pois acordei a meio da noite com as costas doendo, visto que sentia-se muito as molas. Das 3 primeiras vezes as camas eram feitas. Falei no assunto disseram que para isso teria de pagar 2,50€ dia. Não sei o que se passou mas parece que as amenidades foram alteradas mas para pior.
