Are nice. The rooms near the road can be noisy. Rooms we occupied are musty ( even with a dehumidifier in the room). Cockroaches in one room we occupied. Restaurant in the hotel. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, session road and Burnham park.

Not recommend.

Parking space is impossible for cars and street parking charging only 2 spots available for guests. No help from staff. Sent in circles in the rain and finally decided to find a different hotel for the night. Baguio is not for visitors who want to drive as there is no parking for the average person. Looks like tourists need to take taxi everywhere instead of driving. Never again will I visit.

Hill Station was nice and having breakfast,lunch,dinner there is amazing, very close to taxis and shopping (especially SM), otherwise dated rooms in very rough shape, bathroom was in very poor condition similar to a cheap motel instead of a high end hotel. Staff seemed short handed.

QUAINT WITH A TOUCH OF HISTORY!

Location of the hotel is amazing! Quaint and convenient although you may have to deal with the noise in the vicinity. As it is in the proximity of where the major mall is you will be hearing a lot of traffic noise till about 9 - 10pm. The hotel is quite quaint and comfortable. It is truly an old style lodge type of property. The most amazing part of the hotel was the BEAUTIFUL and WONDERFUL restaurant called Hill Station. The owner Mittas is the best to hospitality and welcoming you to her restaurant ensuring you have the best. The staff at the Front Desk were very kind and very accommodating at ease to help you with anything you need. The property is nicely secured in the late evenings as a security guard sits affront of the property. Most of all the property is at a very comfortable and convenient location and has wonderful service and a wonderful restaurant to accommodated their guests. I would definitely return to this property as it is away from the major areas of tourism but close enough to get

Very convenient property for us. Our last night was a disaster because the water tank or something about the water was inoperative. It was uncomfortable not having water when one has an upset stomach.

Nice place with lots of charm and history. Bed, sheets, and pillows were all high quality and very comfy. Room wasn't big, but not too small either. No ac, but late Nov weather didn't require it. Bfast was great and the restoraunt downstairs was pretty good. Only complaint is the shower, the water was hot but the pressure was way too low. Also the shower fixture was odd, I never did fully understand how to operate it. One time you turn it a certain way and get a reaction, the next time you do the same thing and the shower gives a different reaction. Staff was nice. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay here again.

the wifi does not reach the room, and the room is right next to a hiking club which is always very noisy. i asked to be transferred but i was told i had to pay extra. not good.

the hotel is very close to a big shopping mall and so is always busy and noisy with traffic. the facilities such as carpets etc are old and I think no amount of cleaning will save them. they need to be replaced.

on the positive side it is close to Session Road and Burnham Park and the Public Market, all within walking distance. And the restaurant Hillstation had very good food, including the complimentary breakfast.

but in summary, there are better hotels nearby. and one can just go for a meal at the Hillstation without subjecting oneself to the problems of the hotel

Chose VALLEJO for its old world ,historic character,and was not disappointed. Still has the original characteristics,albeit moved into the modern world with facilities. Loved it. Much better from my perspective than the stylish,but soulless modern hotels. Especially enjoyed a few hours in the HILL STATION restaurant,with good food,drink ,and singer/pianist.

Good bones, bad teeth.

This hotel and the associated Hill Station restaurant have so much going for them. The historic building is charming and away from the congested town center The staff is overall quite attentive. The restaurant is airy, spacious and has delicious food. So why have such poor cleanliness in the guest rooms? The upholstered headboard was very dirty and made all the bedding seem suspicious as well. If I had noticed before coming back after getting soaked in a downpour, I would have insisted on a change. A tiny investment in the decor with new bedding and perhaps adding some of local crafts would go a long way to making this a truly special place Definitely examine the room before you settle in.

Convenient location

Everything went smoothly except for the noise on the first floor hallway. At night we heard employees chatting and were loud adding to the busy noise from the footsteps of people also checked in. Bathrooms were clean and the location is perfect for all basic Baguio tours.

Old Baguio Feels

I've stayed in this hotel multiple times, and booked limited standard, standard and honeymoon rooms. Location is excellent, walking distance to Session Road, Victory, SM. It is an old wooden structure, so it has this old smell and feel, which gives it a vintage vibe. Limited standard and standard rooms are facing the street and tend to be noisy, so if you plan to enjoy Baguio by cuddling under the sheets the whole day, don't choose these rooms. The rooms are also rather small. The honeymoon rooms are a bit pricier, but are slightly more spacious and quiet.

Breakfast served at Hill Station is top quality. A visit to the North Haven Spa is a MUST!

Tip: If you need a hair dryer, just request from the reception.

The hotel was situated on a less busy/crowded street. Within walking distance to places to eat. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. Only issue we had was the thin walls. You could hear conversations from outside and inside the hotel.

Old World charm

The hotel is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay albeit old fashioned. The meals are excellent and the service is great. At around 100 years old and one of the original US administration buildings it is an island of tranquility in the middle of Baguio. An evening meal in the dinning room has a colonial atmosphere and good food.

Quiet and relaxing, not a night spot but close to places that are.

Very good location, accomodation not ok

since they dont have ac in their rooms, they should have backup portable electric fans, in case their customers ask for one. The night was warm on our first night, so we ask for extra fan the following day but they were not able to provide us with one. I dont think they made much effort to provide us with one. We had to open the windows to let cool air in. But then we had to deal with big mosquitoes too. If they had installed screen windows, this could have been prevented.

The wood is creaky, the rooms are basic, and the heater can be hit-or-miss, but the ambience, and the delicious breakfast makes it worth it.

Walking distance (as long as you don't mind walking on inclines) from Session Road, SM Baguio, Burnham Park, the night market, and the public market, yet far enough to be isolated from most of the city's noise.

Not for honeymooners, though - the walls are thin and the floors are creaky. Everyone will know that you've been busy.

Sorry stay because of towels and bed sheets:

For the money, I will rate this stay as so-so. It was nice that it is close to the only Mall of the City however; parking is real bad, the ramp slope is scary and not most cars can drive down that slope. The least they can do is offer clean sheets, sheets and towels are limp and color grey. Suggest guest bring your own sheets and towels, HA! Bathroom Hot water is real hot! Staff service is very good,

Nice hotel in Baguio City

The hotel was a great place to stay. It is one of the older buildings in Baguio City but was very pleasing. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the hot water worked very well. Not much of a view out the window of my room, however, i wasn't in Baguio to stay in my room and look out the window. Also the aircon worked very well. Overall, i had a great stay here at Casa Vallejo.

Great Hotel Near SM Baguio and Victory Liner

Nice Hotel. Accessible to jeeps and taxis. The room is not so cold but cool. Water Heater is a must and they never failed us.
The staff are very good and helpful. They allowed us for late check-out and let us to left our stuff in the lobby since our bus will leave @3pm

Just avoid this place it's a trap for fines

Old place with nothing around no AC, we accepted that but what I not accept is fooling people, at first they are cooled stuff, I had to CALL the police for god sake, they wanted me to pay 2000 php as fine, that was rubbish place, they are fining people, smoking anywhere even outside the hotel they will fine you, plus the place is rubbish, old wooden motel with tuna can rooms, that was unexpected at all.

Convenient, Accessible and delicious breakfast

We arrived there around 5pm and got a quick check-in. The family room that we got is spacious enough for the three of us (adults) but I'm not sure if it would be good enough for a family of 5. The beds and bathroom are clean. The location is walking distance to Session Road and SM Baguio and there are plenty of taxis and jeeps that pass through the front. The free breakfast that we got is delicious, I especially recommend the Pinoy Breakfast with the choice of Bangus. All in all, we loved our stay in Casa Vallejo. :)

Cost was excellent (A$50 per night). Hotel was convenient to bus drop-off zone and meetings. The only downer was the meal I had in the hotel restaurant (Thai Fish Curry) which was off and caused me some pain for the next few days - just recovering now - note to self: never order seafood at a restaurant that is nowhere near the sea.

Staff is good but hotel derelict Needs renovation

The hotel staff are pleasant and well meaning. The room cleaners didn't provide a bath mat or soap so we had to call the desk to have them delivered (which they did immediately). The issues we had was the condition of the facility which was built in 1909. It has character galore but the hot water is low pressure and takes about 5 minutes to get going. The initial room we were given had no fridge which was shown in a photo of the rooms. There was mould on the walls and in the shower grouting. There was the stubs of a smashed shelf in the bath and the bath window was so grotty and gnarly it looked like a window of a funky mouldy old greenhouse. The bed was hard as any bed I have experienced. The paint of the ceiling was dirty and had greasy or dirty finger prints. So, I went to the front desk asking if there were any nicer rooms to upgrade and I paid about $109 to upgrade to a homeymoon room. It was better and had a bar fridge but against a modern hotel, the room was not up to par even if it was called a honeymoon room by staff. The one shining and positive aspect of the hotel is the wonderful restaurant with great bungus. The hotel staff was polite and they provided great service. It was just the building itself that was the problem. However, the building condition can negatively impact on one's stay.

My girlfriend and I live in Davao City, and spent six days at this hotel. The room was simple, but comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional. The only inconvenience was the noise from the street during heavy traffic. However, if I visit Baguio again I will choose Casa Vallejo.

There is a spa next door that we visited, and we enjoyed it a great deal. SM Baguio mall is a five minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant food is expensive, but high quality.

We are from Davao City, so it was nice to stay in a cooler climate.

The hotel is close to anywhere we wanted to eat, shop, and visit. Within 30 feet is a high-class massage business that we enjoyed very much. The restaurant in the hotel is expensive, but the food quality is very high. The room was simple, but clean. I was dissatisfied only with the fact that when they prepared our room for the next day they did not give us clean sheets, wipe down the tables, or vacuum. They only provided us with new towels, soap, and shampoo. I don't remember if they cleaned the bathroom.

This is one of thegood hotel in baguio where i could recommend to my friends, its location is very accessible to thecity. We Can go home late night and we donte even need to take a taxi. The interior design was awesome and the dining area looks perfect for events. I just hope that you can serve coffee earlier than seven in the morning for for early birds like us. Parking space isalso quite hard especially for cars with alowered bumper. We Were not able to enjoy thecoldweather at night in our room located near the roadbecause if we open the window, we will hear the cars. Though, our overall stay at casa vallejo was perfectly good and relaxing. The staffs were niceand accomodating. Kudos! For your hotel.

Lousiest frontdesk. Didn't even ask for my ID when we checked in. She just asked my name and asked me to sign something. Room was very small and has lots of molds. Same with the bathroom. Toilet bowl was not cleaned well. Asked to have housekeeping clean it again. But was not able to clean it well. Carpet in the hallway and rooms looked very dirty. They should just remove it. Stairs were very dusty.

I thought the hotel was creepy since it was there from 1909. Then when we checked-in, it was good. Nothing happened. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The weather was hot when we went to Baguio, so I was expecting an A/C inside the room. But instead, it was just a ceiling fan. i was able to borrow an electric fan from the hotel. But i hope they'd start placing A/Cs inside the rooms. Or at least some of them. Anyway, overall, it was a good stay.

This hotel is such a good one. We've stayed there for three days after the typhoon stroked Baguio that time. Fortunately, when we went there, we had a great weather. The hotel built on a wooden materials so, you can hear noises from the outside and we got a room downstairs near the road. Despite of these, it's a walking distance from SM Baguio and other major tourist spots there especially Session Road. And we had fun going to night market 'cause it's very close to our hotel! Nice location and great crews. I will surely return to stay here and would recommend it to others. :)

No air con. Fan was broken. They did put a dehumidifier in our room that blew warm air. Bathroom and bedding was dirty, yuck. Not sure about this place the rooms are more like a hostel, yet the dining room was fine dining. Over priced not good value.

Quaint and pleasant.

Friendly staff. Reasonably clean. Very central to the SM City Mall and downtown Baguio. I felt safe and comfortable. I would have liked to be given bottled water and an ATM in the facility but managed to handle these necessities within a ten minute walk. Best to bring along some earplugs s the traffic is noisy unless your used to it.
