Good stay and very good location. The rooms are very small and the entire hotel could do with an update as some areas are very tired/run down (for example one of the toilets for the ladies in reception doesn’t have a toilet seat - a basic requirement for a 4* hotel I think)!

The rooftop swimming pool is really nice and the evening entertainment is very good too.

Overall a good stay, I would probably try other properties if I were to go back as for the price and hotel rating, it was average.

Port Aventura short break

Friendly staff, lovely large comfortable lounge area. Came for a few days to visit Port Aventura, a 15/20 min walk to park. Rooms basic, but clean, bed good if you like a firm mattress, my husband does, terrible if you don’t, I don’t!

The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very clean and the balcony spacious with a great view of the pool. The restaurant was impeccable with an excellent choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar service was very good but not many staff to take order and bring drinks. The payment system for drinks and other items was poor. Cash or card payment had to be pre-loaded onto a band which also worked as a key card for the room. We would prefer to give card details then settle bill at the end. €10 deposit per towel had to be given. This is understandable but the system was awkward. Go to reception and pay €10 for a ticket then take ticket to towel man. Exchange towel for ticket to return to reception. Poor system.

It was okay, the key cards continued to stop working and I had to constantly go to reception where they then blamed me for it when I wasn’t the only one. Several people staying there told me the same thing.
The cleaners came in when I had the do not disturb sign on the door and then another morning continuously knocking on the door

Amazing hotel have stayed here before but since it has gone adult only the food has gone downhill , options have halved and there are only so may ways you can use rice and call each dish tapas?? Vegetables are boiled to mush, so is anything potato based , pork and fish plenty but all similar flavours , stayed 7 nights

Was a Lovely hotel for a family holiday

Great family holiday, we had full board and all of the meals were fantastic, the choice and quality of food was perfect. The quadruple room is very large and easily accommodated our family of 4. Beds were very comfortable and the air-conditioned room ensured a good night's sleep.
The pool area is really nice and very well maintained and the pool itself is just the right size.
Daily and nightly entertainment were generally very good.
It appears that the hotel is to become adult-only next year which is a shame as it means we can't return as a family.

The hotel is very central and clean; used by a largely aging clientèle which does impact on the available sun umbrellas and even space by the pool at 9am! There are no kettles in the room and despite it being our 4th time staying there and our honeymoon, the hotel made no effort to acknowledge that...but it was central, functional & clean and we made our own fun!

The hotel-Beautiful hotel, the decor in this hotel is lovely, lots of nice seating in lobby. Rooms cleaned every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only negative is that the pool was very cold. The show had entertainment shows in the evening such as tiki, magic shows and singers. They have entertainment during the day for adults and children. The food was quite good and I am a fussy eater. The hotel provide you with a key for the safe.

Location- this hotel is situated in a perfect location to walk to PortAventura, into town or to the beach. It has a supermarket and restaurant beside it.

I would recommend staying at this hotel if you are staying in Salou.

Holiday started okay did think the parking at £10 per night was expensive, food fine but became bland after first 5 days, staff and service on the whole I thought was good. We had an executive room there is no chairs or table in there we had 2x sun loungers outside but no chairs that was disapointing, I did discuss with check in staff and they sent us 2 plastic chairs to the room which helped.

Hotel is nice, but service and everything was difficult. Don't plan on getting up early and having a good breakfast. They are so rigid with rules that there is no customer service. I needed to sleep early and they had loud entertainment until after 11pm and then instead of moving me rooms or trying to do something they said welcome to Spain.

H10 Vintage is very well situated in Salou, with a 2m walk to the beach. Food was very good, with bar snacks, ice cream and drinks available all day and fantastic choice and quality of main meals. The breakfasts are amazing. Lovely rooms and facilities with 2 pools. We massively enjoyed staying here, the staff for so pleasant and the service was always excellent.

The hotel was lovely, was situated close to everything but not slap bang in all the noise.
We were only b&b but the choice and quality of food was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful and both pool areas were perfect for both kids and adults.
If we return to salou would definitely stay here again or any other H10 hotel as the other 2 we walked past both looked the same quality.

Rooftop bar and pool was extremely relaxing and wkrh spectacular views. The food was also good with the buffet styled dinner providing something different food choices throughout the week. Staff were also very nice and attentive and the entertainment provided was good but some of the acts could of been better. We arrived at hotel, 11 hours late after being stranded in airport as there was a mix up over pick up date between Expedia and shuttle service, so was in airport from midnight until we caught airport bus at 9.30, and was extremely tired and exhausted. The reception staff were very kind and sympathetic and gave myself and my son a nice quiet room in the hotel. Although we were half board reception offered us a lunch as we had missed breakfast. We were so overtired, we stayed up and sat by lovely pool so were without sleep for 40 hours in all. Lunch and evening meal was excellent there with a wide variety of choice. The restaurant staff were very hardworking, pleasant and helpful and concerned when my son's mobile phone was stolen. Because he had made it very secure, it was found dumped on the first floor and handed into reception by a resident. Evening entertainment every night was brilliant.

There were sun beds and a plunge pool on the roof of the hotel that was child free so very peaceful and relaxing. The children were well entertained by the staff and also there was games and activities for adults which we took part in on a couple of occasions.

After a stressful start, we would thoroughly recommend this hotel, especially with it's close proximity to PortoVenura. We stayed there 7 years ago and enjoyed it but it was made an even more comfortable stay by the fact it has been recently refurbished.

Nice hotel close to the beach

We did not spend much time at the hotel. The purpose of this trip was to go to PortAventura park. The hotel was close to the park, and had a great buffet breakfast and buffet evening meal. It was great value for money. The only small complaint I would have is the check-in process. It is a bit weird. They ask to see proof of booking. Expedia doesn't really provide proof of booking so we had to print out of our itinerary. They do not accept confirmation reference numbers when checking in

we visited for the WRC and to go to Portaventura theme park. The hotel offered great value full board basis, there were plenty of spaces to park at the hotel, which hotels further into the centre would not have had. The food was varied and what you would expect, nothing exceptional but satisfactory. It is worth noting that lots of Spanish nationals were staying, this says a lot about the quality and value the hotels offers. All in all I would certainly stay here again.

Location of the hotel is very convenient,very near beach,the Tourist Information Office and there is a supermarket located across the road.The hotel is very clean and modern,very tasteful contemporary decor,beautiful scented candles always burning in reception.Many Tour Reps with details of day excursions in d local area visit d hotel each morning and evening making it very easy to book excursions or activities.The pool area is spotlessly clean,lifeguard always on duty and there is a great poolside drinks service.The bar staff and d staff in d restaurant and cleaners were all very courteous and helpful.Beautiful sofas in d large reception area.Rooms are cleaned daily and towels replaced.Rooms are small but sufficent but walls are very thin.Overall we enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this hotel

Beautiful charming very well kept hotel 8 mins walk from the beach. I absolutely loved my stay, my room was immaculate and cleaned every single day and cleaned to a very standard. (Please pass on my thanks to housekeeping).The hotel itself, ie reception area, is beautifully eclectically furnished, very comfortable and stylish. The little fridge in the room was very handy as lots of supermarkets nearby so you can stock up on drinks and snacks etc. I travel quite often and I am quite fussy about the standard/quality of hotel where I choose to stay. This hotel ticked all the boxes and I will definitely be returning. Wonderful relaxing stay. Thank you.

The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the beach and very close to local shops and supermarkets. The hotel staff are extremely helpful, we were half board and on one evening the kids did not like the food staff were more than happy to make the kids fish nuggets. We had a room with a balcony which overlooked the pool. The kids club was throughly enjoyed by our kids and also gave us an hour break to enjoy our cup of coffee. On our first night the reception staff were incredible helpful and found a phone charger for us.
Our stay was very pleasant and would definantly would recommend this hotel to others. Will be returning again.

A great hotel, service was excellent and staff are very polite and helpful.
The hotel did tend to cater for an older age group. The pool area is clean and well serviced. Bar prices and bar snacks are very reasonable.
Breakfast is very good with lots of choice and variation from day to day. Not keen on coffee machines as I love a pot of coffee/tea on the table at breakfast.
Rooms are clean and bright with nice balconies. The public areas are spacious and well designed with lots of attractive artwork and design features.

The hotel was very nice a good setting set back from main area of Salou. The hotel was well looked after and very clean and tidy in all respects. We had our two young granddaughters and after a little teething problem with cot we felt at home although sometimes the room did feel a little small, but overall it was fine. For our stay we had bed and breakfast, the breakfast was very good having a good selection that catered for all tastes including young children. One small point on the breakfast be prepared to queue up for the coffee. There was a very well organised and staffed kids club that entertained our eldest granddaughter for many of the days for an hour in the morning and two most afternoons. The two staff we met were excellent and the kids kept busy with interesting things to do. One small thing that was a slight disappointment was the main pool did not have an easy slope into it, which would have suited our two and it was very chilly, but again we were there early May so did not get the use we had hoped. All in all a great hotel that I would certainly visit again.

great location and good service.

very nice and accommodating hotel. went in September when there a lot of seniors visiting there. Not as many younger adults there but a few families with kids. It's ideal for bringing a baby or small child. Lots to do in the hotel and lots to see within walking distance. Reasonably good food at the hotel as well. The hotel had a few quirky policies about towels and paying for drinks at the pool which just took a lot of time to figure out but other than that everything was smooth. The pool was really cold in September even though it was still very warm outside. They had great musical entertainment each night by the pool. it was a really fun environment and would be especially fun for a larger trip with an extended family or large group of people.

The hotel is in an excellent position within walking distance of the beach, shops and PortAventura theme park.
Food was good with an excellent choice each day from the buffet. Drinks are not included with dinner, however they are very reasonably priced.
Rooms are on the small side for a 4* hotel and the bathroom was a little dirty when we arrived.
The pool area is pleasant but small.
There was entertainment every night, finished by 11pm, but if you do not wish to be disturbed by it do not get a pool view room.
We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable hotel and received excellent service from all of the staff.

If only I hadn't seen the 1st room I was given

When I booked I had requested a cot in room, low floor and if possible a pool view. When we arrived my 14 month was not on hotel booking but was on mine. Was given top floor with a horrible view of waste land and caravan park plus no cot. The room was tiny and not of a high standard like the 2 previous h10 hotels we have stayed at. I went down to reception and was greeted by a friendly young man who was extremely helpful. it's 30€ a night for superior room which have pool view. Omg it was like walking in2 a different hotel. The difference in size quality, standard and decoration was much more of the typical h10 we have stayed in. The balcony was massive and safe to let our toddler wander about on/in and out the room. I would highly recommend you book the superior room. The only tiny complaint about room was the glass bathroom door, it just swang open and shut so our son could easily get in2 bathroom
The food was of a high standard and wide choice, most of the clearing staff had a smile
Pool area was not massive and would say half of it was shaded at all times
Night entertainment was a mixed bag sum exceptional (welcome to the 80's) and sum complete rubbish (red and blue team singing and dancing)
The decoration in entrance is breathtaking and a lovely area to chill out on the comfy sofas
Overall we would stay here again but only if I can book superior rooms lol

Beautiful hotel with very modern feel.

Fab hotel and staff are so helpful and pleasant. The reception area, pool, bar etc are all so well kept and modern. The first thing that hits you as you enter the reception area is fresh clean smell. Very pleasant to greet you when you have to smell bins and drains on the street to the beach! The rooms are small and basic but they are clean and well kept. Food was good - good selection every day - better than your average hotel buffet! Definitely would recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

Excellent in every respect.

This is a 4 Star hotel which has everything expected of such. The hotel is spotlessly clean and decorated/furnished to a very high standard. We were on Half Board and the food was excellent - a huge and varied choice were literally presented at every meal. Some food was cooked on request, ie steaks etc by the staff at the top counter the remainder being buffet style as we like. The Head Chef (a really pleasant guy) was always in attendance, if not actually preparing food then inspecting the buffet area etc. The restaurant staff were friendly and extremely efficient, the restaurant itself is large and has an attached terrace for those wishing to dine outside. It was usual to walk straight to a prepared table but on the few occasions when we did have to wait a short time the staff were always in attendance immediately. Drinks were served at the table by the staff.
The room - we had a deluxe double room - bigger with 2 double beds and a larger balcony - whilst there were only 3 of us I would definitely recommend this. All 1st floor rooms on the pool side are bigger as they extend out over the restaurant area. The room was well decorated and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had what I can best describe as a walk in shower area (no bath - though some rooms do have baths), it was fully tiled and spotlessly clean.
Location is perfect - 5 minutes walk from beach.
Pool area was clean and well maintained (pressure washed every morning) and kids club/ entertainment were very good.

Great Hotel and Facilities

This hotel is fantastic, All the staff were helpful and polite. Restaurant staff didn't stop working and were always smiling and courteous, even when some guests dropped food on the floor and just left it the staff were on immediately and had it cleaned up. Room maids were also very polite and always acknowledged us.
The room was air conditioned and clean my only gripe was that there was a fridge in the room but there was a daily charge if you wanted to us it. Pool was clean and the surrounding area was when down and cleaned every morning.
I would defiantly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Lovely location, hotel caters to all!

Really close to the beach and local theme park Port Aventura!! Swimming is lovely also 😊 room was very clean and had the essentials. Food was really good, I would recommend full board bookings as it is a cheap extra and it was amazing buffet style food for every meal of the day! Only downfall was the entertainment which was very loud each night from 10 till past midnight. If you felt knackered after a busy day there was no chance of getting any sleep! Although it could just be that we were boring so if you don't go to bed early this hotel is perfect 😊 overall had an amazing holiday and would recommend it!

Great location and family friendly hotel

We stayed here as we were only in Salou for one night as we booked tickets for Portaventura. Hotel is 5 mins from beach and 15-20 mins walking to Portaventura so great location, rooms was big just needs soundproof in rooms as hotel can get quite loud and needs to be a bit cosier. Hotel staff are great and would recommend to stay here

The hotel is ideally located. Only 20 minute to walk to Port Aventura. The hotel is quite decent. But daily cleaning was not thorough enough. Every morning for breakfast we had to stand in line. If do not pay attention to these shortcomings, it can be recommended for families with children.

Brilliant hotel

Overall the whole stay was brilliant. Staff were always very helpful and spoke great English. Wifi around the pool and reception area was very quick and reliable, however no wifi in the bedrooms was a downside. It is located just at the North of Salou meaning that walking to Portaventura and the beach is no problem. Food at the hotel was lovely and we had a great choice everyday. We will be back!

The ac in rooms is good. The beds are way too hard, shower door too small warer goes everywhere on floor. The tv needs more local channels. No wifi in rooms. Nice pool and entertaiment. Good all you can ear breakfast.

Great price for a little getaway

We had a clean, neat room, a little small for 3 but we made the most of it. Our room overlooked the pool and did not suffer any noise / disruption but assume that during the summer months they must take the entertainment outside which could cause concern. The hotel is close to a road but the noise isn’t overpowering so don’t let that turn you off either. Obviously the hotel has been recently renovated to match its new name – vintage style. Can’t fault it.
The breakfasts were lovely, with a good variety of foods for every taste. Food was replaced often and the waiting staff in the dining hall were efficient. We stayed on a HB basis for 3 days but can imagine meal times get a little repetitive if staying for longer
We were able to extend the check out until 18:00 for an additional €20 which for us, was worth every penny. We also rented the fridge for a day to keep some drinks cool for €3 which again – was worth it although the bar etc., within the hotel isn’t over priced by any stretch.
I would stop here again, although I wasn’t “taken” with Salou itself as a resort. It’s good for a cheap sun getaway – similar, I imagine to Bendirom etc. Give it a go – you’ll find very little be disappointed about.

Much better than anticipated....

Stayed here for 2 nights, with 2 friends, and wasn't expecting the quality/standard that we encountered. Pictures and other reviews do not do this hotel justice. Modern reception, rooms and bar/restaurant areas - perfectly located at what feels like a centre point of Salou. Breakfast buffet was varied and changed (in part) daily - always something to pick, and was always hot and pretty tasty (for a buffet anyway). Best thing about breakfasts.....served until 10:30am! Room was very clean, cleaned daily, and toiletries were supplied. Reception staff were not overly friendly, but dealt with all our needs very professionally. Would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat

We stayed in this hotel for 9 days and we were happy enough with it, but there were some problems. The hotel catered mostly for spanish speaking guests and made us english speaking guests feel left out, especially from the entertainment at the poolside, we were asked once to join in, but after they found out we were not spanish we were not asked again. The hotel's walls and celings were also very thin and it was very loud through out the night making it hard for us to sleep. But the hotel was close to everything and very nice and modern.
