Nice stay but just a few ideas to improve the hotel. 1 have signs up in the corridors to keep quiet when walking down. People coming home late at night having full-blown conversations heading to the room. 2 if the hotel could possibly have adults only section or an adults only floor. Food was good but could improve no grapes or other fruits. Just Menon and pineapple an apple orange banana and peaches.At dinner the only put on the fish and meat when we arrive in. It should be pre-prepared.

The room was clean and spacious with a delightful pool that never felt too busy as long as you selected when to go well. Our only issue came with the food which wasn’t ideal when it came to the dinner selections although the breakfast was solid enough and kept us going during our days. Overall a lovely stay

Stayed here mid August, 2025 with my family; 2 kids, half board. Overall, our experience was good and bad.
Good points:
Room was modern, big TV.
Air con worked great in 35+ degree heat.
Nice shower.
Reception staff were nice.
Room cleaned and bed laid daily - cleaning maids were very nice.
Food was good, there was enough variety for us.
Bad points:
A big let down was the table service at meal times, if you're not there in the first hour, we would end up walking laps around the dining room with a full plate of food looking for an available table because the staff are not refreshing the tables quick enough. Literally 50% of tables were empty but still dirty and the other 50% were occupied, this was over an hour before meal closing time. You'd have to stand next to a dirty table until the staff member saw you, for them to reset the table, or ask them too. There is only one staff member per large area of the dining room and this was not enough.
Not only that, when you do get a table in the evening, it takes a long time for a server to come over and take your drinks order - sometimes you have to go up to them and tell them yourself. I also saw others go up to the drinks fridge to get their own bottles because staff did not attend to them. You're not allowed to do this, but staff were not around to see anyone do this.
Pool: The hotel has signs up stating \"no reserving sunloungers\" but the hotel doesn't enforce its own rules. All had towels on before the it opened.

There is a mismatch between checkout time in hotels.com which is noon and at the hotel which is 11:00. The checkout was stressful because of this. Stuff tried to accommodate to make it at 11:30

So nice place to stay

My stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful! The service was exceptional throughout – the staff were attentive and always ready to help. I was particularly impressed with the buffet, which offered a fantastic variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes.
The cleanliness of the hotel, both in the room and throughout the entire property, was impeccable. It was a pleasure to stroll through the well-maintained grounds, where you could clearly see the care and attention to detail.
The pool was a wonderful oasis for relaxing on warm days, and the modern gym was a great bonus for keeping up with my fitness routine while on vacation.
My only minor suggestion would be to add toilet brushes to the bathrooms. However, this small detail did not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience I had at this wonderful hotel. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

We spent 5 nights at this hotel, and for the price, it offered fantastic value. We flew into Barcelona and rented a car from OK Mobility. Conveniently, there was free street parking nearby, along with an unmarked parking area just behind the hotel, which was also free.

The hotel is in a prime location: PortAventura and Ferrari Land adventure parks are just a 10-minute walk away, and Salou Beach is also within walking distance. Supermarkets and shopping facilities are close by, making it easy to get anything we needed.

The hotel staff were friendly, and the food was good. We traveled as a family of four (two adults and two kids), along with two other families, and had a fantastic time. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as steam, jacuzzi, and sauna facilities, which made for a relaxing stay.

Additionally, there were pool and table tennis facilities, along with evening entertainment provided by the hotel. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it for families looking for a great value stay close to local attractions

For a couple,this Hotel has everything you need for your holiday - indoor & outdoor pool, spa, sauna, sun beds, pool bar,just a short walk to beach/shops & restaurants. Great breakfast, comfortable rooms,great entertainment.Would also be a good base for golf groups.

The staff were very friendly at the hotel apart from one person in the restaurant. We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant was just about to close. We ran in just to get some hot food for our 3 children and one of the people complained that we should not have been allowed in since they were finished in 5 minutes. Another waiter was very friendly and accommodating in the end. Check in was easy and quick. The room was a nightmare. The air conditioning vents were filthy and there was rust in the bathtub. I mentioned this in the check in review and it was rectified the next day, which we were happy with. The food was cold most of the time unless you were there when it was placed on the buffet table. The best part of the hotel was the water rides and the location, the kids really enjoyed the water slides and it was a big plus for the hotel, the location is 10-15 minutes walk from Port Aventura and about the same in the other direction from the beach area. Would not stay here again.

Enjoyable stay, good location but very crowded

We had an 8 night stay as a family in August. Hotel is very clean. Location is good, about 15 mins walk to PortAventura and 15 walk to beach and centre of salou.

Food was pretty decent - it can be busy but didn’t have to wait too long and there is plenty of variety. It’s a mass produced buffet style so it’s never going to be Michelin star quality but there was always something for everyone.

The kids enjoyed the slides but I would say the downside of the hotel is how busy the pool and loungers are. Swimming wasn’t enjoyable as there were far too many ppl in the pool. I know it is peak holiday time but it just feels overcrowded. Many queued for loungers from 7.30am and none usually available after 9.30am for the rest of the day.

WiFi also awful which is frustrating when trying to organise things online, was difficult to get any stable connection for any length of time any where in the hotel. Not sure I would return

The food selection for both breakfast and Dinner where very poor, possibly the worst I have ever had anywhere! The room was clean and had a nice view but overall was very basic. I stayed in this property about 10 years ago and the standards have dropped considerably. If I was staying in Salou again I would not stay here!

The hotel had the ruins of a Roman villa in the grounds. Food was average but there was something there for everyone. The indoor pool, Jacuzzi and steam room were excellent . The pool had plenty of sunbeds the only negative being the towels put on them to reserve them as the area around the pool became very crowded.

Great pool area and facilities for kids. Water slides were a winner. Breakfast was excellent, great choice. Staff very helpful. Really nice atmosphere, helped by the entertainment staff. Great family holiday.
Only slight issue was the sunbed lottery. You won’t get one without putting a towel down early, but then if you aren’t there, they take it away. Difficult balance when you have slow eating young children and need to be close to the pool.

I visited here on my own as I traveled around Spain, booked mainly for the reason it was a bargain half board stay. This hotel is ultimately perfect for a family with children. It is truly alive and full of energy and I would recommend it to my own friends and family with children. The buffet meals are full of an extensive range of foods and you will not go hungry as there is something for everyone. The staff (bar staff and entertainment) are fab and take much care and show passion in the work. The location is 10 mins walk to the beach which is a nice stroll but personally if I were to return to Salou as a lone traveller I would recommend staying nearer to the beach where the restaurants and bars are located.

Also the entertainment wasn't as good as I'd read in reviews but maybe that's because it's early season? That said, the reception staff are wonderful, hotel is clean and overall we liked it. Nice hotel . Staff could be a little more helpful - reception staff didnt know where to get bus to tarragona but turned out it was right outside hotel . Other staff need to learn how to smile. Entertainment staff excellent . Tea/coffee machines at breakfast not good and cups too small.

Guidelines for Management...

The restaurant staff are tripping over one another. The drinks policy at the table is crap water should be free and if a person wants a drink let them order it themselves. The pool is too small for the amount of guests the indoor pool should be open to family's of all ages. Pool tables are expensive at €2 if you have kids you should be trying to attract family's to stay in the hotel instead of sending them down town.The food selection should be varied more. Washing machines and dryers should be available to guests also.

very good service for the money

It was a great choice. The food is amazing and a lot of choices. The staff is speaking english. The animation team is great.In the evening is show for kids and after that for adults. The water in the pool was very clean and good temperature. The pool is big and animation team organise during the day polo games , aqua gym, games for kids. It takes you 10 minutes to the beach. We enjoyed our holiday and we recommend this hotel.

For instance bed spreads look old and not very enticing but the sheets were clean and white. Lamp shade missing on tall lamp just the bulb. Only minor things just needs a little attention. Great family holiday despite few hiccups

Travelled with my family and enjoyed the warm welcome and stay from the hotel staff. However, some improvement is needed with the night time entertainment offered though - was a little bit boring. Didn't also like the idea of having to wake up as early as 6am to secure sunbeds as they were way too few to cater for all the hundreds of people staying at the hotel.

A nice family hotel but let down a little by their inflexibility. Couldn't get a simple 2 hour late check out on departure despite giving them lots of notice. They refused to budge from their strict 1000 check out time. The hotel was busy but many were not checking in until late that evening so it was really just poor customer service. Also a lack of sunbeds and outdoor space (inadequate for size of hotel) meant guests were getting up 0700 as the doors opened and were stampeding for beds. On the plus side there were some nice staff not least David the lifeguard who was great and the breakfast was excellent.

Before I begin, I would like to mainly say that I quite liked the hotel. It was close to the centre of town but far away enough that you weren't in the middle of all of it, and was a lovely walk in. The room and hotel were very clean and bright. I did not like the beds in the room however, it was like two small doubles placed beside each other to make one very large bed. It was difficult to sleep in the bed as you could easily slip in between the two beds, so myself and my partner would sleep in the one bed, it wasn't the worst or anything, more of an inconvenience.
The breakfast each morning was very good, I would have liked more of a selection of fruits, but there was plenty of varied choice with other types of food. I didn't have dinner in the hotel so I can't comment there.
The main problem I had with this hotel however was the time it took for guests to check in. When guests who were already checked in needed the services of the reception during the busy times, it could take up to 25 minutes waiting, when there was only two or three people ahead of you. From what I observed, they were checking in, and I feel that it was taking much too long. This also happened the day we were checking out. In the hotel booklet it states that you must vacate your room by 10 a.m. We had to queue for 25 minutes just to check out, as there were people checking in, even though check in is after 2 p.m.
Nevertheless, this hotel is extremely clean, well located and great value.

when we arrived to the hotel the reception staff were pleasant, but as for dining we found most of the staff were unfriendly and seemed unhappy. this also included bar staff, which we were disappointed with.
but in general the food was fine, the cleanliness of the hotel was also good.
this hotel is perfect for a family holiday as plenty of entertainment for the children.

El trato a los clientes deja mucho que desear .Estuvimos 5 dias y los cinco tuve que reclamar para que hicieran tostadas nis tenian en fila vomo becerros y no hacian tostadas.Las camareras no revogian los platos de las mesas solo se preocupaban de montar mesas y los clientes teniamos la mesa llena de platos sucios

Grand hotel, piscine assez grande avec une zone à part comprenant 3 toboggans aquatique.les chambres sont spacieuses avec balcon et séchoir a vêtement.proche du centre ville et de la plage (10min à pied).les points négatifs sont nombreux,la propreté laisse à désirer notamment autour de la piscine,les gens pouvant boire et manger ils laissent souvent leurs déchets sous les transats,le nettoyage n etant fait que le soir...les règles pourtant affichées autour de la piscine ne sont pas faites appliquées par les maitres nageurs (bouées,saut,propreté...).le personnel est globalement pas très accueillant ni sympathique.la qualité du pressing des serviettes dans les chambres avec notamment des traces suspectes sur les serviettes propres...le bruit du fait des chambres mal isolées...globalement la plupart des désordres viennent des incivilités mais un meilleur management aiderai à rendre l ambiance générale plus agréable.
Coté restauration, vaste choix de plats,mais parcours du combattant pour obtenir une table propre...
Nous ne retourneront pas dans cet hôtel, qui ne mérite pas de notre point de vue 4 étoiles.
Uniquement a recommander pour ceux qui aiment se lever à 8h du matin pour aller déposer leur serviette sur un transat afin de profiter du petit dejeuner tout en remettant les aliments qu ils ont fait tomber de leur assiette dans le plat oû tout le monde se sert.etre bruyant sera un plus pour vous...

Ett fint hotell med renoverade rum. Nära till butiker, PortAventura, tåg och centrum. Det enda negativa jag har att säga är att det är tråkigt att alla solstolar är tagna redan kl 08:00 på morgonen, att det ofta är kö till maten och till barerna vilket gör att man drar sig för att köpa läsk eller glass osv. Även tråkigt att mini cluben under högsäsong endast är öppen 2 timmar.

Kiva hotelli monilla mukavuuksilla. Allasalue oli oikein viihtyisä ja muutenkin tekemistä riitti etenkin lapsille paljon! Herkullisella aamiaisella oli vaihtoehtoja todella paljon. Ajoittain hieman ruuhkaa aamiaissalissa. Ainoa asia mikä jäi hieman häiritsemään oli olematon äänieristys, minkä vuoksi illan discoilut kuului tosi selkeästi ainakin ykköskerroksen huoneeseen.

L'hotel n'a que de 4 etoiles que le nom. La literie est vraiment digne d'un formule 1, mediocre. Avec des couvertures qui datent des annees 60. He pasado el fin de semana con mi hijo y pese a que nos ha llovido el sábado pues ya el domingo se pudo disfrutar de la zona de piscinas y toboganes y nos encantó, además de la comida el buen trato y servicio !!!

3 pers kamer was gedateerd, tuin met zwembad is veel te krap voor het aantal gasten. Extreem handdoekje leggen gedrag van zeer associale gasten. Eten was goed. Ze hebben me eerder laten uitchecken dan conform boeking omdat het druk was. Niet erg klantvriendelijk. Receptie personeel was niet op de hoogte van de omgeving en mogelijkheden. Was een last minute boeking, maar zou het nooit aanbevelen. Geen 4 sterren waardig.

Todo bastante bien y buena relación calidad precio.

Pero hay 2 problemas que me impiden una mejor valoración.
El wifi es MALÍSIMO, no tiene fuerza, no se mantiene una conexion ni un minuto. No se puede tener 4 estrellas y no tener una mínima conexion de wifi.

El otro problema es que es muy ruidoso, entendiendo que puede ser mas un problema de la clientela que del hotel, pero es horrible el continuo ruido de maletas a cualquier hora. Es verdad que también hay un problema de insonorización de las habitaciones.

Je ne recommande pas du tout ! Fuyez !
Hôtel vieillot, personnel pas aimable pas souriant, piscine bondée avec prise d’assaut dès transats des 8h, pataugeoire pour bb ridicule tout petit avec un toboggan au beau milieu le reste des jeux aquatiques est à l’écart donc pas pratique pour les parents. Interdit de plonger et de jouer au ballon dans la piscine. Les transats sont les uns sur les autres. L’hôtel est situé au centre de Salou au milieu de pleins d’autres hôtels donc bruyant le soir. On a eu le droit au concert certains soirs de l’hôtel d’a côté jusqu’à 23h avec le son très fort.
Chambre à l’abandon, bouton de Clim cassé nous avons du réclamer sa réparation, porte de la sdb qui frotte le sol donc difficile à ouvrir, baignoire abîmée, le ménage « fait » très rapidement (seuls les lits sont refaits mais pas de dépoussiérage de bureau tables de chevet sol du balcon)
Et le pompon… faire la queue 10/15 minutes parfois pour aller au restaurant !!!
Restaurant très très bruyant peu de personnel dans les stands (viande poisson omelette) donc beaucoup d’attente pour être servi et buffet standard rien d’extra.
Je n’aime pas laisser de commentaire négatif mais la je suis obligé. Très très déçue.
Je précise que je ne suis pas quelqu’un de difficile ou d’exigeante.

Très bon hôtel, je recommande restauration au top. Tout était très beau et très frais. Les enfants se sont super bien amusé juste à côté de port aventura. Franchement rien à dire foncer je recommande à 100 %.

Les chambres n’étaient pas propres du tout. Le ménage est à revoir sérieusement.
En ce qui concerne la piscine, si vous n’y êtes pas pour 9h du matin, vous ne trouverez aucun transat de dispo. C’est la chasse.
Le parking de l’hôtel n’était jamais disponible, un enfer pour trouver une place.
Il ne vaut pas du tout son prix. Nous déconseillons cet hôtel.

Très mauvaise expérience dans cette hôtel, rien n'est bien. Le personnel de ménage nettoient jamais le sol et la salle de bain. L'animation est rigolo!!! La piscine n'est pas propre. Le personnel n'est pas du tout gentils et non souriants ce qu'il est anormale dans un hôtel touristique.
Ie buffet est aussi pas du tout à la hauteur malheureusement!!!
Bref on ne reviendrons plus jamais dans cette hôtel. Merci

El hotel está muy bien pero en julio está totalmente masificado. En la piscina no se puede ni estar y la gente reserva las hamacas desde primera hora de la mañana. Es la segunda vez que vamos, creo que el servicio de comidas ha bajado bastante en variedad y a ciertas horas es un caos el buffet. Hotel limpio y cuidado, la atención en recepción es buena. Ambiente demasiado anglosajón.

Nous n'y étions pas venu depuis 5ans
Très belle évolution
Plus de rigueur pour la piscine intérieure mieux surveillée, le SPA ouvert jusqu'à 20h c'est très bien
Salle de sport bien équipée bonne évolution du matériel
Personnels très agréable souriant et à l'écoute
Personnels présents depuis longtemps, bravo
Bonne prestation pour les repas,( juste toujours bcp de monde a attendre les œufs le matin !!!)

Plusieurs sejours effectués dans cet hotel et déçu de voir que la piscine intérieure se degrade malgré les travaux effectués (eau trouble et froide, hammam hors fonction et en mauvais état ainsi que le spa et hygiène non respectée, pas de pediluve, les tenues non respectees ect. ..).
Les repas très bien bon et copieux mais trop de gaspillage non contrôlé surtout avec la conjoncture actuelle c'est bien dommage. Annimation genial et conviviale. Literie un peu dur peut être a revoir.
Ensemble convenable mais vieillissant avec des points a revoir surtout la piscine intérieur.
Personnel exceptionnel avec leur gentillesse (Toni a l'animation et Antonio au restaurant entre autre 😉)
