First of all, don't bring a car here. They have next to no parking in the tightest car park, yet hundreds of rooms.

The view isn't like you'll see in the pictures, the green is all gone, the surrounding areas that were green are brown and dead and wastelandish.

only 1 member of staff was genuinely helpful and kind, an older gentleman, 5 stars to him. The rest of the team were rude and snappy and unbelievably unhelpful.

They don't give you beds, but army cots.

Ignore the silverfish while you stay here, the wildlife was there first...

Oh and for some reason, they painted over their beautiful white building, with a greyish magnolia.

Some very nice restaurants in the local town and everyone there was sweet and helpful, but you'll never meet them because you should never stay here.

Hotel has limited parking. May be risky to park outside of hotel grounds even if you are lucky to find something... Rental cars are an easy target.

Busy streets and no where nice walk near the hotel.

The water on the island is no good. Hotel does not provide drinking water except at dinner. You need to go and buy your own.

The smell of smoke is everywhere in this hotel, Had to move rooms as it smelt so bad. Management insisted it was a non smoking room... however they provide ashtrays in the room for guests. No signs anywhere not to smoke. No areas in the outside areas for non smokers. Some people smoking in hallways. This is essentially a smoking hotel and is encouraged..

free bus to the city is fine.. but check times.

Generally this whole area is not great... very heavy traffic and unless you enjoy just sitting on chair in the sun, not much to do.

On a day trip up the mountain by rental car we were robbed. All our documents were taken including passports. Fortunately they took the money and threw the bag in a ditch. We had a \"samsung smart tag\" in the bag and after 2-3 hours found it with most of the documents left in the bag. Met someone else the same day who was also robbed - damage to their car. researching the internet getting robbed is routine on this island. Be very careful.

We changed our flights to leave asap and will never be back.

The hotel is on the less touristy side of the island close to Pierto de la cruz. There is a beautiful walking tour on the coast just under the hotel.
The breakfast is quite wholesome but a bit basic.
The view from the room is quite spectacular.
The staff is quite nice and helpful.
The hotel itself is clean but certainly gives you the feeling that it hasn't been refurbished for a while.

Well worth a stay, will hopefully return next year

Very enjoyable litttle stay.
Easy check-in process, nice gentleman on reception.
Hotel grounds and rooms are impeccably kept. Very clean and I think the room was newly painted.
We had a mountain facing room, which had sun on the balcony early on. Room had a little kitchenette in it and a good sized bathroom.
The hotel is dated, you cannot get away from that but it is well kept and cleaned.
There was no entertainment offered, covid was blamed for this and we were told it would start again in January. The pool was being renovated when we were there. I've seen past posts about the hotel and I don't think they're particularly honest. Food was more than sufficient, although I would say they cater for the Spanish / German Market but there was plenty of choice really.
There was car parking available on site and up the road if it got too busy. All in all, its a nice little base for a few days in the North of the island and I'll definitely be going back. In fact, I have stayed here a number of years ago and paid for the sea view. The room seemed larger this time, don't know if it was or not or just how your memory goes. Mountain view for me again next time.

Our experience at the hotel Panoramica was not good. When we arrived the wi-fi didn't work for 5 days of stay as there was no internet. Breakfast was always the same option, there were no varieties. The same thing at dinner the employees were not very happy doing the work, they were making a lot of noise with the dishes it was very unpleasant.

Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean as were the common areas throughout the hotel. Facilities were good, fantastic uninterrupted sea views From the balcony and there was free WiFi. The food was very good value and offered a wide choice of “home style” dishes - only 8 euros for dinner from the self service buffet, including wine. There was also a regular courtesy bus from outside the hotel to Puerto De La Cruz which operated daily. Overall a very satisfactory and pleasant stay.

We stayed here for a weekend as we were going to a wedding. We were only there from late evening on the friday and left early Sunday, we used the hotel just as a base. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean (fixtures and fittings dated but perfectly adequate). We had breakfast included and with a choice of hot and cold food which was great, maybe not the same options as other hotels we have stayed at but it was good and plenty of it. I'm not sire if i would stay here again but purely because i have no real desire to visit Tenerife again. I think if you just wanted a base so you could explore it would be perfect. Great value

The Spanish go there!

Spanish folk who want to holiday in Spain go there and stay at this establishment so its obviously a good place to go. The Breakfast menu is ample and should be ok for most dietary requirements. The 70's decor smacks you in the face as soon as you step inside. Clean clean clean!

ok hotel but In the wrong location

The hotel was pretty average but in the wrong location. We did have a free bus into town which did help. The food was ok but we never knew what we were eating as it wasn't translated into English. We did ask in reception on our 1st night but nothing ever happened. Would of preferred to stay in the South of the Island where the airport was. We had to hire a car as the transfer costs were too high. Also the weather seemed to be better there.

We took the hotel because it was affordable. And I would say it is a reasonably priced hotel. There are fun things to do nearby, and the drive to the volcano only took an hour.
The beds were not comfortable and the room was cold all the time with no way to heat it. There was comfortable seating in the photos on line, but not in our room. There was breakfast available in the deal, but the food quality matched the zero charge. There were renovation works underway in the next room involving a kango hammer drill and other power tools, and as we could hear people walking and talking beside our room, above our room and below our room, you bet it was noisy!

Pretty good, a bit of a trek to the beach though.

As advertised our room came with an ocean view. The downside to that is we were on the north side of the building, in January, so we didn't get any sunlight. It also got pretty cold in the evening. The hotel is quite a distance from any beaches, although there are some beautiful costal paths very close by. The room came with breakfast, which was incredibly busy. It wasn't bad, but it was a mad house and we skipped it at some point to find a better experience.

If your looking for a more chilled relaxed environment this location is for you.. I took my husband there for our 5th year anniversary, more stable for the Golding oldies as we were the youngest there!!! The hotel is nice fresh towels and beds made everyday great views from balcony, food ok, Didnt get in the pool as it needed to be cleaned, lovely swimming pools near the beach €5 pay in per person 6/7 swim areas including small pools for kids 10:00 until 5:00 plenty of sunscreen needed as it's very hot in this area, hotel half hour from airport €40 in taxi, 15 mins on bus €1.45 down to the square couple of Irish pubs.... English very poor in Puerto Cruz....

Hotel is well past it's prime, catered to an elderly clientele, and limited desk service was available before8am or after 9pm. We could not get receipt or anything when checking out at 730 am.

In room wifi was sporadic, and very slow when it was working.

Hotel staff did not brief us as guests e.g entertainment or other services available at hotel - bowling ally, bar- charoke-excursions, checked documents handed us a card with meal times and key. It would have been great to have some information on arrival-later realised staff did infact advise other guests on what was available.
Didn't find reception staff as helpfull. Hotel felt lifeless!!

breakfast was nice but not many changes .no nice reasturants around only1 which was 0 ratings .dinner looked okay .the swimming pool was outside and it was a little cold it could of been indoors...places around are 5 star rating .beds could all been in one room to make it easier for us..good idea about the bus going to the town centre ...bedding had bad quality sheets and no raditaors and got very ill because of that...

Basic Hotel in need of Updating

Isolated, but if you have a car it is a great base for exploring the non touristy areas of the island. There is a free bus into Puerto de la Cruz.
In need of a complete refurbishment.Everything is very dated and the furniture is uncomfortable if you plan to stay in for the day...good for bed and breakfast and then travelling to explore/visit local towns.
The hotel attracts a lot of elderly clients, so no problem with unruly/noisy children.

Second visit. We hope to return in November. A convenient, pleasant and well priced hotel.
The hotel needs updating as it seems stuck in the 80's. decor and furniture in particular.
We like the quiet, the atmosphere and the Spanish \"feel\" of the place. No drunkenness, loud music or crying children.
Food is fine, it is varied and typically European, not aimed at British tourists...we like this.
The staff are helpful and cheerful.
We hire a car at the airport as it is a fair drive to the hotel. Although the hotel has sea views there is no actual access to a beach. We would recommend car hire, although there is a free bus to and from Puerto de la Cruz.

Dated hotel nowhere near a beach

Hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff welcoming and friendly but is just in the wrong place. There is no nearby beach and the local shops, cafés and restaurants do not appear to cater for foreigners. Food was cold and tasteless and when we tried eating out we're met with indifference at some places. Is cheap though and provided you are happy to travel by car or bus could be a useful base.

Solid bang for your buck

Average age of guests is probably 60. I am in my twenties so my girlfriend and I felt awkward during breakfast and dinner. The food is mediocre but with it being included in the price of the room it made our stay in Tenerife very cheap. Decent location. Shuttle service to and from Puerto de la Cruz provided by the hotel ran multiple times a day. Swimming pool was not heated as advertised. Considering we were only at the hotel for breakfast, a late dinner and sleep it was perfect for us. Also... We paid extra for half-board. Don't pay for it because they don't check ;)

We were lulled into a false sense of security by the vibrant, verdant location photography and reviews which waxed lyrical about the atmosphere.

Upon arrival, you are taken straight back to the 80s, replete with eerie dirty yellow manchester, ancient cooktops, tiled floors and the obligatory in-room bidet for those all-too common encounters where toilet paper simply isn't enough.

Whilst there was a wide variety of breakfast victuals, none required us to avail ourselves of our teeth, and the combination of militantly aggressive pandemonium during serving rush hour (0830-0930) and faint background noise of other guests smacking their lips and gumming their food didn't make for the best start to the day.

The demography of the clientele strongly suggested Panoramica is less a holidaymakers' resort, and more an 'end of the line' institutional facility designed as a half-way house to smooth the passing from this life into what one can only assume, in no uncertain terms, to be purgatory.

It was difficult to find and the hotel is quite isolated - however the service with good, the room was really clean and comfortable - The staff was speaking mainly Spanish but I would consider this a +
The main issue is that it is a bit remote from town centre and therefore you need a car to go town centre but Puerto de la cruz ia real close and its centre is buzzing

Cheap for a reason

The hotel is in a rather odd, stranded, location. There is a hotel bus service connecting the hotel to Pueto de la Cruz, otherwise you are stranded without a car. It's peaceful, but just too peaceful.Staying in April there was still the over-winter pensioners from Germany and mainland Spain who were well established and known to all the staff. The food was of an average to low standard. In my six days two evening meals were repeated twice. Never once was a meal hot, warm at best. You do get free wine with your evening meal though - about the only highlight when it comes to meal times! The room was of a good size, with a small kitchen area and a decent size balcony. The bathroom was very run down and is desperate need of attention. The beds small and low. At the end of the day I got what I paid for so can't really complain, but will not be returning to this hotel should I return to Tenerife.

Strange but good

The hotel was very clean, staff very friendly, but in the middle of no where, free bus not running but given a bus ticket to use public transport. Last bus from puerto del a cruz 2l.l5 a bit early as both bars in hotel closed by 22.30. Dissappointing to see so few people staying at the hotel, I would imagine it was great in its day, but a bit tired and empty now.
we only stayed for 2 nights and it was good for what we wanted which was somewhere close to Loro Parque so that we could have a full day there.

we chose this hotel because it had a courtesy bus because my wife is unable to walk long distances or up abd down hills but the bus was not running no bars or cafefe was open we had to get taxis the hotel was spotless and rooms very clean but with nothing open or no entertainment we was glad to get home we have had many holidays over the years and have never ever complained we would never ever have booked this hotel if we had known also food very limited choice the same gateau was put out for nights running the breakfast was bacon fried egg or boiled egg every morning along with cold meats cereal and fruit dinner one choice meat one fish dish one pasta one potato and one veg

A beautifl \"quiet\" retreat

Great hotel, not near a beach (just a short #15 min bus away) but not as bad as it sounds. staff good except reception staff need to acknowledge your there more often, by takingthere eyes of the tv. Rooms brilliant views front and back.
pool good - blowy weather can make it a bit chilly sitting there. but rarely busy and well cleaned.
resturant - although i was only B & B the food was prepared well and cleaned away neatly. you didnt find any dirty tables or messed up food servers, at the counter.

Ohhh Panoramica

My friend and I stayed at Panoramica for our Spring break while studying in Spain. The people there were really nice and we had a beautiful view, but it was far from the beach and in a pretty remote setting. We also were the only clients there under the age of 65... In conclusion, it was peaceful and relaxing, but we spent most of our time at the beach (30 min walk) or at the nearest restaurant (one of the only ones around). So if you're younger and looking for a more social setting, you're probably better off booking somewhere more central (near the Lago Martianez) in Puerto de la Cruz.

Man sollte hier insgesamt keine zu hohen Erwartungen haben.

Pro:
Die Aussicht. Wirklich beeindruckend. Wer ein Zimmer mit Meerblick bucht, macht alles richtig. Dafür lohnt es sich definitiv.

Es gab eine eigene kleine Küche, was sehr praktisch war.

Der Zimmerservice war gut: täglich frische Handtücher und eine gründliche Reinigung der Zimmer.

Contra:
Die Parkplatzsituation ist schwierig. Es war fast nie ein Parkplatz zu finden und wenn doch, waren diese sehr eng. Am besten parkt man gegenüber vom Fußballfeld.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt und die Gäste sind überwiegend Rentner (was an sich nicht schlimm war).

Die Zimmer waren an Wänden und Decken teilweise schmutzig. Im Bad ist unsere Toilette ausgelaufen – wir hatten zum Glück genügend Handtücher, um das Wasser regelmäßig aufzusaugen. Zudem ist das gesamte Equipment veraltet.

Fazit:
Für den Preis kann man wirklich nicht meckern. Für alle, die Teneriffa erkunden wollen und kaum Zeit im Hotel verbringen, ist es vollkommen ausreichend – genau wie für uns. Wir waren im Grunde nur morgens und abends zum Schlafen im Hotel.

Trotzdem vergebe ich aufgrund des Frühstücks und des Gesamtzustands 3,5 von 5 Sternen für das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Nach dem zweiten Tag sind wir nicht mehr zum Frühstücksbuffet gegangen, da es uns nicht überzeugt hat.

Wir haben ein sehr schönes Zimmer bekommen. Es war etwas abgewohnt und veraltet, aber sauber, großzügig und toller Aussicht. Das Personal war durchgängig nett und freundlich. Leider war das Abendessen nicht sehr fade gewürzt und oft verkocht. Auch das Frühstück war ab dem 2 Tag immer mit den gleichen Dingen bestückt und etwas mehr Abwechslung hätte gut getan. Wer Müsli mag ist etwas im Nachteil, denn mit Joghurt oder Quark hatte das Angebot nichts gemeinsam. Obst war vorhanden, aber eine kleine Nussauswahl täte gut. Was leider auch sehr störend war, sind die laute Abräumgeräusche mit den Besteckwägen. Das wird reingeworfen und macht einen richtigen Lärm im Speißesaal. Lobenswert ist der kostenfreie Ausschank von Wein und Wasserbehältern, wobei die Wasserbehälter in jeder Ecke kein schönes Bild abgeben.

Le personnel était très gentil. Le petit déjeuné était top. Ménage rapide fait dans les chambres tous les jours. En revanche, nous y sommes aller début septembre était c’était compliqué pour se garer. Autre point négatif, nous étions au douzième étage, quasi pas d’eau chaude, même tiède. Il y a même des jours où l’eau était gelé. Pas top pour prendre une douche même quand il fait chaud. Et le peu d’eau tiède, il n’y avait pas de pression.

Hotelli on siisti, mutta pinnat ovat jo kuluneet. Huoneessa oli vanhan näköiset lakanat, jotka voisivat jo olla päivityksen tarpeessa. Kuitenkin kaikki oli puhdasta. Aamiaisella oli kohtalainen valikoima erilaisia ruokia.

Hotellin allas oli mukava ja jossain määrin lämmitetty. Aurinkotuoleja oli riittävästi. Lastenallasta ei ole.

Parkkipaikkoja on rajallisesti, mutta löysimme paikan lähistöltä. Lähistöllä oli jonkin verran pieniä kauppoja ja ravintoloita. Joku Titsa:n bussilinja taisi myös kulkea läheltä.

Kolmen tähden luokitus vastaa hyvin tämän hotellin tasoa. Viihdyimme hyvin täällä lyhyen reissumme ajan, mutta mitään erityistä ei ollut tarjolla.

Hotellin ylimmistä kerroksista (4 ) on varmasti huikeat näkymät. Olimme itse 2. kerroksessa, josta näkymät olivat tylsät.

Hotel mit Meerblick

Das Hotel ist schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Ruhige Lage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick zum Meer, dafür ohne Sonnenschein. Parken direkt am Hotel schwierig, zu wenige Parkplätze. Aber es gibt auch Parkplätze auf der Straße. Frühstück und Abendessen vom Buffet. Überwiegend ältere Gäste.

Hôtel plus que correct pour petit budget dans une zone calme. Gros point négatif, beaucoup de difficulté pour garer son véhicule de location le soir. Les places du parking de l'hôtel sont en effet limitées et les places dans le quartier sont la plupart du temps occupées par les riverains et les utilisateurs du terrain de foot.
L'hôtel est très mal insonorisé.. prévoir des bouchons d'oreilles. Le petit déjeuner du matin est copieux, diversifié et correct. Tout le personnel ne parle pas anglais et il est des fois difficile de communiquer. En revanche les repas du midi et du soir, bien qu'à volonté laissent à désirer. Produits bas de gamme... Points positifs, l'hôtel prévoit un bus pour aller en ville. Hôtel très propre, un service de chambre et une organisation impeccable. Hôtel globalement correct.

Wir hatten ein Appartement mit Meerblick im sechsten Stock, total ruhig und sauber. War auch eine kleine Küche vorhanden, wir hatten aber Halbpension. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.

hotel calme ,vue superbe bien entretenu ménage chaque jours, depuis dernier séjour rénovation sale de bain,remplacement baignoire par grande douche et rafraichissement ensemble,petit déjeuné ok mais repas du soir décevent ,service de bus vers porto de la cruz tous les 30 minutes , parking trop petit ,raport qualité prix juste correct !

Agréable séjour

J’ai séjourné 5 nuits avec mon fils de 5 ans. Chambre spacieuse propre terrasse agréable.
Restauration rien à dire on a adoré.
Néanmoins beaucoup de bruits des autres vacanciers et les portes se fermant en se claquant donc très brouillant et dérangeant surtout le soir et le matin .
Je regrette qu’il n’y ai pas eu d’air de jeux pour enfant.

An sich ein sehr schönes Hotel zum Verweilen mit super Essensangebot sowohl am Morgen wie auch am Abend. Es gab immer eine große variierende Auswahl am Buffet. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal, welches neben der Planung verschiedener Touren auch für vollkommen saubere Zimmer gesorgt hat. Allerdings war unser Zimmer noch sehr altmodisch, sodass das Mobiliar einen abgewohnten bzw. überholten Eindruck machte. Auffällig war, das die sonstigen Hotelgäste v.a. Rentner waren. Wer abends mit Gleichaltrigen/Gleichgesinnten an der Bar oder am Pool ins Gespräch kommen will, ist hier (zumindest während unseres Aufenthaltes Ende März!) nicht richtig gewesen. Wer hier allerdings lediglich zum Schlafen und Essen seinen Aufenthalt plant, findet ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vor.

Faire Preise. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber. Speiseauswahl gut, aber Speisesaal teilweise extrem laut. Zimmereinrichtung etwas alt. Weit weg vom Atlantik. Reglemäßiger Busshuttle nach Puerto d.l.C. - Pkw sinnvoll, aber Parkplatzprobleme. Tipp: Möchten Sie Sonne auf dem Balkon, müssen Sie die Zimmer zur Landseite nehmen - dann aber keinen tollen Ausblick auf den Atlantik.

La sistemazione andava bene anche a livello di pulizia ma un'ora per il check-in nonostante fosse tutto fatto con Expedia perché nn trovavano la prenotazione ed ho dovuto chiedere il cambio stanza perché mi avevano dato unastanza al piano terra con un muro di cinta davanti alle finestre che non era quello prenotato per cui hanno cercato di fare i furbi.lacolazione era a buffet ma lasciava totalmente a desiderare.non lo consiglierei
