Kanan (I’ve hopefully have that correct as she deserves recognition) was amazing. we we’re put in a terrible situation with the villa we had booked, in that it was inhabitable, awful. We urgently had to find somewhere quickly as the company were not helping resolve the issue. She was welcoming calm & very kind. Rooms couldn’t have been any cleaner

The pools were fantastic. The restaurant was very loud and the food was average. The views were lovely. Overall we wouldn’t stay again due to the restaurant feeling like a big canteen it was relaxing to eat.

This hotel is like an old dinosaur, it is a huge imposing building on the top of the hill, a long difficult walk to the beachside town.
The staff on the front desk were nice but apart from that not much going for this place. The room dated and stank of bleach, the pool dirty, much smaller than it looks on the pictures, restaurant closed because of an earlier storm that had passed, loud awful music from the bar until midnight, walls and floors paper thin, could hear someone being sick in the room above, breakfast canteen style, cheap and nasty.
The hotel full of school kids and large parties that had obviously got a cheap deal. Avoid this hotel, avoid the town, which is also dilapidated and not worth a visit.
We checked out early, staff were good and understanding.

I have stayed in a MELIA before, in particular the Ibiza one. If you have stayed in a MELIA, you expect quality. Unfortunately, the one in Tenerife North has fallen short during my 24 hours in the north.

My family and I have a property in the South and thought it would be nice to have a change of scenery. After spending the last 10 years visiting the South, we thought it would be nice to enjoy the North.

The welcome reception is lovely, and the venue from the outside looks like you are staying at a prestigious hotel.

The things that let it down (photos attached):

1. Wires hanging off of the fuse spur, therefore the aircon unit doesn’t work.
2. Peeling cupboard ends.
3. Lock on the bathroom door is missing.
4. Safe doesn’t work.
5. Wardrobe is falling apart.
6. Shower head adjuster is broken.
7. Fridge mould

In short, the room we were given looks tired and is in much need of refurbishment.

There is a saying in England: it’s the kind of room you need to wipe your feet on the way out! To say I paid £110 (€130) for one night, when I could have stayed in the centre for a lot less and nice looking rooms (photos) I have been well and truly ripped off.

The hotel surroundings are amazing, views are stunning.
The food you can find something to eat but would get tiring if you were to eat there all week.
The hotel is spotless, the rooms could do with a little updating the furniture looks tired and worn.
But i would recommend the hotel.

My partner and I stayed 3 weeks in a sea view suite. Room was spacious with great views. Housekeeping throughout the hotel is first class and the hotel grounds are well maintained. We were on half board, the food was standard buffet fare on a par with most 4 star hotels I've stayed in. My only complaint would be that the hotel allows smoking in the outside dining area (is that even legal these days?). Would I book a stay again....absolutely.

Hotel in lovely setting but a car necessary as quite far away from local amenities. Booked a sea view suite with kitchenette but hotel does not provide anything to use it !! Not even a kettle and chargess additional costs for use of kettle, room safe and yo have a kitchen pack which is a negative as 5euro a day for a kettle ! Otherwise great stay apart from people being allowed to smoke in outside terrace dining arewa.not great when you are eating and children eatig.

Hotel is in a beautiful location with commanding 360 views. The grounds are extensive and beautifully kept. Car is advised as hotel a little out of the way from easily accessed shops although there is a free hotel shuttle bus to the local port.Rooms a good size and staff very friendly.

The hotel itself looks a bit outdated and seems to have its great days back in the 90's but do not be put back by this as everything else including staff and food makes this up.

The room was large and comfort able,nice clean enough. But the friger is half broken and making the noise during night. There was no kettle in the room and rubbish bin in the living room. These two should be easily fixed. On a whole we like the hotel very much.

Amazing View Hotel

The hotel is located in the high position so you will see 360 view of mountain and sea. If you book an ocean view suite, the view from bacony is amazing. You are able to see both mountain and sea when you sit by window or at balcony. I highly recommend this hotel.

location of this hotel is fab the quality of service is excellent too. The communal and garden areas are exceptionaland well maintained. It is recomended to take half board, as there is nothing in the immediate vacinity but the hotel food is wonderful and has many varieties to suit all tastes. However the rooms, all be it large are not that comfortable and there is a kitchen area which is of no use and has no self catering facilities, this area could be put to better use, however the overall experience was good and i would consider returning to this hotel.

Nous sommes restés 11 nuits dans cet hôtel.
Nous avions une chambre vue sur montagne, et avons apprécié la vue. Le menage etait fait chaque jour.
L’hôtel est spacieux et propre.
Le cadre de l’hôtel est magnifique.

Très belle surprise. Nous avions réservé une suite familiale vue piscine et mer. La chambre était tout simplement extraordinaire. Les commodités de l'hôtel étaient très bien (piscines, salle de sport, bar, tennis...). Le personnel est très sympathique et très professionnel. Les équipes de la réception sont adorables. Le buffet est de très bonne qualité. Les équipiers de cuisine et de la salle de restauration sont au top. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Nous avons passé 15 jours à l'hôtel. Bien sûr ce n'est pas parfait. Cuisine non équipée, isolation ancienne, mais la qualité globale est très bonne. Bons lits, grand appartement, beaucoup de services, deux piscines + 1 pour enfants, gym, tennis, ping pong. Un personnel aux petits soins. Nous étions en demi pension, la nourriture était de qualité et il y avait beaucoup de choix

El servicio de limpieza de habitaciones excelente y el espacio de las mismas es magnífico con una gran terraza. La atención del personal de hotel super correcta,educados,amables. Cuentan con juegos para niños,instalaciones de gimnasio,pista de tenis,billar,ping pong. Magnífica situación para recorrer la isla porque está en un punto al lado de la autovía con salida directa.

Lo mejor que tiene son las vistas.

Eché de menos algún detalle para tener cuatro estrellas como agua en las habitaciones o amenities en el baño, por ejemplo.

En general muy bien.

Deben fumigar más frecuentemente.

Habitaciones con una cocina que no se puede usar, bañera de hidromasaje que potencia ello consumo excesivo de agua.

Wer Massenunterkünfte mag, viel Spaß. Das Zimmer war ziemlich abgerockt und gehörte schon längst modernisiert. Frühstück, es fehlte immer was. Ich habe meinen eigenen Schwarztee und Zitrone mitgenommen, da das an drei von vier Tagen nicht mehr am Frühstücksbuffet vorhanden war.
Nachts hört man die Nachbarn durch die Wände schnarchen und tagsüber das Stühlerücken der Nachbarn. Zimmerreinigung hat auch nur an zwei von vier Tagen geklappt. Massenunterkunft. Wer es mag und es billig buchen kann, dann Bitteschön. Für uns kommt das nicht mehr in Frage. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt keinstenfalls. Positiv anzumerken ist, die Freundlichkeit des Personals.

Die Aussicht von der Anhöhe ist wirklich sehr schön und wenn man Ruhe und Abstand vom Trubel in der quirligen Stadt sucht, genau das Richtige.

Die Gartenanlage ist sehr hübsch und gepflegt.

Leider ist das Hotel im Inneren sehr in die Jahre gekommen
Es ist zwar sehr sauber in allen Bereichen, wird aber den heutigen Standards und Komfort nicht mehr gerecht. Beginnend beim Beleuchtungskonzept der Suite, dem verlebten Mobiliar etc. Die großzügigen Zimmer mit Meerblick sind wirklich ein guter Ausgangspunkt für dringend notwendige Investitionen.

Preis - Leistungsverhältnis mit Frühstück in meinem Fall gut.

Gutes schönes Hotel, kann aber laut sein

Die Zimmern sind richtig schön , groß, Bad auch , Küche hat kein Besteck ,Wasserkocher , Tellern … kann man nicht nutzen . Die Anlage ist sehr schön, liegt oben auf dem Berg, hat genug Parkplätze …
Problem ist, dass alle Zimmern mit Bergblick super laut sind , man hört alles von der Straße und kann nicht richtig schlafen .
Zimmern mit Meerblick sind schön ruhig. Haben beides ausprobiert.
Als wir da waren , war die letzte Nacht Feier von Loro Park in Hotel und man konnte bis 3 Uhr gar nicht schlafen, weil die Feiernde so unglaublich laut waren, haben vor dem Hotel bis 3 Uhr morgens rumgebrüllt, geschrien … einfach absolute Katastrophe … haben Rezeption angerufen , uns beschwert , war nichts gemacht .
Das war einfach unfassbar , dass keiner nimmt kein Rücksicht auf die Hotelgäste , die einfach schlafen wollten und dafür auch noch bezahlt haben.
Da sollte der Hotel mindestens das Geld für dieser Nacht allen Gästen zurück erstatten .
Es ging so die ganze Nacht bis 3 Uhr morgens .

Habitación con vistas. Early checkin terrible

La.habitacón era excelente y el personal muy amable. El unico problema es que llamamos temprano solicitando realizar el checkin antes de las 15:00. Nos dijeron que nos llamarían pero estuvimos esperando hasta las 15:20 para poder entrar. En este sentido nos llevamos un mal sabor de boca porque esperábamos una alternativa o algo de cortesía. No solo no entramos antes sino que lo hicimos 20 minutos después de la hora oficial y nunca nos llamaron, tuvimos que ir a recepción para preguntar tras estar esperando y resultó que la habitación estaba lista y no nos avisaron pese a que estuvimos esperando al lado de la recepción.
