We enjoyed our stay at casablanca apartments. The rooms were big and the kitchen was very well equipped. Bins were emptied daily. The location was great for buses. The main disappointment though was the attitude of the reception staff when we asked for more toilet roll. They made us feel ashamed to ask for more (i suffer stomach issues) and one of them wouldnt give us another role (and wasnt very kind about it) so we had to ask their collegue. In addition they wouldnt give us more washing up liquid (we were there for 8 nights so got through the small bottle within a few days). It was as if they didnt want us to wash up our dishes and perhaps to use towels for toilet roll!

Besides that it was lovely.

I've stayed at Casablanca Apartments many times. Some areas may seem dated, but it is very comfortable complex and extremely clean and friendly staff. A library is in the basement, with showers & a luggage room if your flight is after checking out of your apartment. Balconies are small, some with just enough room for table & 4 chairs. Kitchens well equipped & full cooker. Lovely pool area with plenty of sunloungers. Pool towels available with refundable deposit. You can hire a safe in the apartment.

The hotel is in a great location and the pool and evening entertainment was nice. Great touch on the welcome drinks in the lobby for guests. The rooms need a refresh and are a little dated looking. Need better equipment in the in suite kitchens. No spatula or can opener and limited pots and pans. Set up a tanning area away from the pool so that those who want to use the pool can find a chair to dry off.

A very well managed complex geared to the comfort of its clients. Very clean and with good amenities e.g.restaurant, library, pool tables, nightly entertainment etc. The swimming pool is clean but proportionately small for the number of units. Excellent location:Close to food stores, restaurants, downtown & waterside promenades & beach (rocky). Despite advertising airport transfer ( for fee) only provided from TFS NOT TFN. Disappointing because not clear on hotels.com description. But the public bus service travels from the north airport & stops nearby.
I would stay here again.

Not quite at the city centre / beach side but walkable distance. Parking available for EUR 5, but the entry card did not even work even though the reception said they activated it. Rooms are big (suite style) and clean, but no air conditioning despite the hot/warm weather in Tenerife. The oldish lady at reception treated Spanish-speaking people and non-Spanish speaking people with different attitudes - arrogant and somewhat disrespectful. The other staff less so but not very welcoming either. Spanish speaking people go ahead and stay here: good value for the price. English speaking people go somewhere else.

We were greeted by very friendly front of house who allowed us to have an early check in.. The complex is extremely clean and the staff are all hard working.. The appartment was fully equipped with everything you need to make yourselves a cooked dinner or a light lunch.. I would recommend this complex for couples and families.. The laundertte is 3 euros for the washing machine and the same for the dryer in 50c pieces, which the reception will provide you with change..
The site is located on a steep hill, which could be quite tricky for the less able walkers..Over we had a fantastic stay and will be back for another visit in the future..

This was a repeat visit but our 1st since lockdown and we were pleased to see the usual high standards had been maintained, in every single aspect of the resort.
Prices in the bar - for food and drinks - were so reasonable with generous measures of both food and drink!
Everybody is so friendly on site and they were extremely quick to respond to 2 tiny problems we had (broken kettle and wrong code put in the safe).
The free on-site parking is a bonus because elsewhere it's at a nightmare to find a space.
The pool is thoroughly cleaned every morning and there are free pool towels provided.
The evening entertainers were varied and of a fairly decent standard. Lots of people were up dancing.
We did self-catering but lots of people ate on site so I guess it must be pretty good.

really good location. Apartments spacious with comfortable beds. Kitchen had plenty of equipment as we didnt have breakfast.
Pool a little small for all the apartments and we had trouble getting sunbed space as people keep belongings there all day.
The complex was clean.

The only negative was wi.-fi. we had to enter password and code every time we wanted to use it, which was very annoying and needs sorting. Also signal was very poor.

Given the age if the building the lifts were very tight/dated. Kitchen equipment could also be updated.

Excellent place for the price. Great check in, great pool, nice balcony. Only downside is there’s no air conditioning but the price is so low it’s not a complaint. Good around us very reasonable. We’ve stayed at all inclusives but with this price decided to just buy meals outside and they’re pretty reasonable and good food around.

Had problem with a piece of furniture in the bedroom and pillows, reported it via online survey, it all got sorted the following morning . So excellent service.
Just as a recommendation the Sangria in the Bar was excellent and very good value. Nice place to relax after a hard day round the pool!
Overall, this being our 3rd visit to Casablanca, it was an excellent stay. Can’t wait for the next time.

Great place . Spotlessly clean. From reception, to bar staff and even our cleaning ladies everyone was so welcoming and friendly . Apartments are traditional , warm Spanish decor . We had an apartment that faced the garden not the pool which suited us well . Quiet and peaceful. Food excellent and very reasonably priced as where the drinks. Fresh baked bread every morning from the bar cafeteria. Wi fi very fast . Puerto del la cruz is a very Spanish area but most people speak English, however a word or two of Spanish brings forth a wealth of smiles . Entertainment in the evening low key but very good , singer both traditional and duos. Well worth a glass of wine and listen too .
We had a great holiday . A car is not essential but allows you to explore the area .

Really enjoyed our stay - we have only one key observation. We need a room / apartment with a walk-in shower ( rather than shower over bath ) - this is not a mere wish - but an essential requirement. We requested a walk-in-in shower prior to our arrival. The standard response from Apartments Casablanca was that whilst noted they could not guarantee request. This was also their response on our arrival - whilst our request was eventually resolved it would make us think twice prior to booking again.

Children's activities with leaders - aimed at young children. Other activities for older children, such as giant chess and pool tables. Pleasant bar serving cafe type food. Can be quite noisy til late, due to echoing nature of courtyard arrangement of apartments but only kept us awake til the early hours on one night. As with other reviews, we never had a problem getting sun beds even though pool area was busy.

Ideal location (although well hilly)

We stayed a 2 bed appt on a self catering basis and it was ideal, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was ample. We stayed in Appt 11104 which was just above reception, this was away from the road so quite. Used the pool which was just about big enough for a decent swim when not busy but we expected that, we used the bowls facilities which was great fun and only 1.50 euro's pp for 2 hrs. In fact most of the hotel prices were reasonable as it was in a predominantly residential area with ample supermarkets and restaurants. To get to and from the coast meant a steep slope or lots of steps, the hotel was approx 150m from the start of the busier part of the resort but also about 50m higher which meant it was a lot quieter.

This a very well managed hotel. The. Hotel staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The thought that has gone into the detail of the rooms is amazing ,simple things like a sign showing where the cutlery draw is , the TV remote control in a plastic pocket ,so that it is always clean. The chairs have rubber feet so that they do not scrape on the floor. I could go on ,but you would think I have shares in the hotel. My only complaints are that beds are too hard and the food menu very poor. I would recommend this apartment with out reservation.

Our room was on the top floor, we were lucky to receive an upgrade to a large 2 roomed apartment and we had a view of both the mountains and the sea from our balcony. The welcome bottle of wine was also an unexpected surprise. The whole complex was immaculately clean and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and more. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helped us sort out a problem with our transfer booking. We would definitely return again and heard several other guests saying that they were regular visitors

everyone we dealt with was so helpful. we loved the beauty of the coast. gorgeous restaurants several within 10 minutes walk. 20 minute walk to old town. Have been to the canaries many times before but this was by far my favourite resort. the apartments are up a steep hill 10 minutes climb but worth it for the views. we are both in our 70s so its very doable. well worth the climb but taxis are cheap too. the hotel had great amenities and made us feel so welcome..

The hotel was nice, our room was really large and all the staff were very pleasant, we were really impressed with the facilities available at the hotel.

The only downsides that we had were that the pool wasn't really big enough for the size of the hotel. It was tricky to park in our allocated space in the car park as it was hard up against a wall and the room didn't have air conditioning.

There are a number of steps to get into town but f you don't mind that this hotel represents cracking value.

a Hotel like I did it expect

I was surprised by the three languages every member at the reception seemed to speak. I felt welcomed and the rooms had plenty of space. The roomservice had been excellent.
The organisation of the pool would need an improvement. Getting and changing towels were a bit difficult. The service of getting fresh buns in the morning was nice to have.

Everything is great except...

Only negative point is that there is no air conditioning, only loud ceiling fans, so it can get very warm and stuffy in the bedroom. You can't really open your window for fresh air either if you are on the ground floor facing the inner courtyard with pool and restaurant as it can get quite loud.

We needed a place for one night for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The large apartment was just fine. Though sparsely furnished, the extra space and the kitchen were welcome for a family. While it is not located right in the heart of the town, the apartment hotel is just a 10-minute walk to the center of town and the beach. The pool is large and quite nice, and the cafe/bar has a great selection.

We had a change of holiday this year, instead of all inclusive we picked a high rated apartment on Trip Adviser and went self catering. This enabled us to have our breakfast in the room at our leisure and select a place to eat in day and evening. Our apartment was clean with plenty of space with large balcony area. Be aware the apartments are on a hillside and require a certain amount of fitness to access surrounding areas.

Our first time in Tenerife and we definitely chose a good place to stay. The resort of Puerto de la Cruz was lovely and the aparthotel Casablanca surpassed expectation. We had a hire car and hotel had a convenient car park at base level. Food in Bar was average but fully acceptable with entertainment going on most evenings. Flamenco dancers were excellent but other acts needed more variety. Daytime activities looked good although we did not participate in any of these. Site facitilies were excellent and spotlessly clean which impressed us very much. Pool was lovely and plenty of sunbeds. Also had a lifeguard in attendance most hours. No air conditioning but a ceiling fan in rooms. However this was not used as our 10 day stay,s weather was not that sunny. Studio room had everything you needed, and was even left a bottle of wine and a bottle of water which was a nice touch. Our only criticism was that the bed mattresses were very hard. Nice balconys, but many lacking sunshine. We overlooked the road, so there was some noise from early morning coach pick-up from hotel opposite but also had a great view of the sea. (4th floor) Lifts provided and always working. All in all a fabulous place and would definitely warrant a return visit.

Wonderful Apartments!

We were very satisfied with our stay at Apartamentos Casablanca. The entire staff, from the front desk to the ladies that clean, were all friendly and willing to please. We had a nice apartment on the first floor. I would have preferred a higher level floor, because of the street noise. We had a pool, lots of games and activities from which to choose, a restaurant, and laundry facilities. We did not rent a car, so we were always on foot. This complex sits on a steep hillside, so you will need comfortable shoes and the ability to walk up and down hills. The buses to all parts of the island, stop at the top of the hill, so they are close and convenient. Bus tickets can be purchases at a small store next to the complex. The apartments are close to a grocery store and about a ten minute walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

From the first, the hotel was welcoming. Our apartments were spacious and regularly cleaned. Because the hotel was full we were unable to get the views requested and although our balconies were small, they were sufficient to relax in. There were plenty sunbeds. Richard the activities manager was great and there was plenty on offer. We would definitely return. Restaurants were within 10 minutes walk and we got used to the hill. Having a small supermarket next to the hotel was also helpful and water could be bought from within the hotel.

We stayed in Casablanca Apartments July 14 to July 29, a family of four in a 2 bedroom apartment. Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable:
1: Staff: Very professional and pleasant- helpful and friendly - receptionists, bar staff, maids all provided excellent support
2: Apartment: Great size, kitchen well equipped- you need to bring nothing, there is even an oven and juicer, , all has marble floor, nice balcony, TV has 8 English channels, Film 4 BBC1 - BBC 2- ITV-Gold-24 hrs News etc 3-Weather : was mainly cloudy 60% of our stay , rained ( drizzle) couple of times, temp max was 26 during day and 18 during night no A/C in the rooms but two Ceiling fans will do the job-
4 Resort: Mainly Local Canarians and Spanish from mainland- few tourists from UK or Europe- this suited us very well - great restaurants if you are like us and like fresh fish dishes. We loved the port area andSt Carmen festival activities
5-Car rental and excursions: All booked through the Hotel reception- very professional and best prices guaranteed- 4 Euro per day for underground parking which was brilliant- we rented a car ( 150 Euro for 7 days) and visited Southern locations and beaches - but always glad to be back to cloudy PDLC. Siam Park is a must
6-Trnasport from to Airport- arranged through reception - 63 Euros per trip ( Family of four) Hotel shuttle
7-Entertainment: Most of the nights- a show or a singer mainly Spanish music and saw some Spanish holiday makers dancing which

A good choice

Casablanca is well situated with shops and restaurants nearby. It is a short, easy but steep down hill walk into town but getting back, taxis are readily available and cost under £3.00. Just up the hill are bus stops served by a number of buses into town and to Santa Cruz, La Orotava and along the coast. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and quickly found a dentist when a tooth broke. The apartment was well equipped, cleaned regularly and had a good view across town to the sea. The car park was spacious and easily accessible.

Lots of steps!

The accommodation was very comfortable although, even for a fit person, the climb up 124 steps from the 'front' was somewhat demanding but there was an option of walking up a steep slope.

We were pleased to have a quiet room overlooking the pool but, as it faced due North, there was no sun on its balcony at any time.

This is a big apartment complex built around an inner courtyard containing pool and restaurant. Although large, there are no significant noise problems as most guests are either older couples of a few families with kids. There were no partying teens and twenties, thank God. The apartment walls are not that well insulated though - in the dead of night we could hear the people next door using the toilet. The apartment itself is well equipped and the staff at reception, in the bar/restaurant and domestic cleaners are fabulous - polite, friendly and very efficient. The town is nearby, but there's quite a steep climb back to Casablanca which makes you hesitate before just 'nipping out for a coffee or a stroll'. The town is lovely, though, it has real character, and some very nice places to eat (especially around the old fishing district). And places are not expensive. The weather during our visit (Jan 2015) was variable - some quite hot days or half-days with glorious blue skies, but also some overcast days, and a couple of hazy days when you could sunbathe but not that hot. We came back with a tan! Overall, it's a fairly quiet, relaxing place in a town with some real charm, and I think it offers decent value for money. I'd go again.

We were 4 people in our 20s and there were quite a lot of old people around. nevertheless, we had a fantastic time. The rooms were well equipped and very clean and the staff friendly and helpful - booking restaurants, taxi, car rentals for us etc.

We had a 2 bed apartment which had a private sunbathing area also one not so private but could see mount Tiede from the patio area. The kitchen was well equipped. staff friendly & helpful. The entertainment could have been a bit more modern but overall very good. My sister mentioned it was my birthday so was given a voucher for a bottle of Cava in the bar, which was a nice touch.
Close to the beach front but quite a steep walk back, so not suitable if elderly or unfit.

Central location

This hotel is in a central location for visiting Puerto as well as trips along the north coast of Tenerife. It enjoys plenty of facilities - pool, bar/restaurant, Wifi, entertainment but is also close to the town centre for all that Puerto has to offer. However it is situated on a hill - good for building stamina but perhaps not so good for those who find getting around difficult. I have stayed here on several occasions and have enjoyed my time. I certainly would return to this hotel again.

Overall my stay at Apartmentos Casablanca was first rate. Some of the receptionists were exceptional ie Maria and Candy who I found to be extremely professional. One of the receptionists however was a bit snobby particularly when I enquired about the library, she actually asked me in view of a number of other people if I was staying there and asked me for my room number. I found her attitude to be quite rude. But then again there's always one. The staff in Bar Casablanca were excellent even though I was only drinking soda water when there. My apartment was excellent, it was clean, with a well equipped kitchen, fully tiled bathroom, fresh towels, a balcony and a BBQ. I had requested a room with a view of Mount Teide or the pool and was generally satisfied with the room I was allocated. Although the bar food menu was okay it could be improved by introducing new food ideas, maybe a daily special. I was not impressed with the tagliatelle carbonara as I believe this had been microwaved before service. The salad was a bit boring too! A bottle of complimentary wine was left for me but I do not drink and I also did not have a fruit basket. Maybe an idea to supply a bottle of water and some sachets of tea or coffee with milk and sugar and a packet of biscuits for those people who arrive at the complex after 10.00 pm as there is nowhere available to get such until the next morning. After a lengthy journey this would have been ideal..

Good location for clean and friendly hotel

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment was spotless and the services very good. We used the pool every day and the bar on entertainment nights. Prices for food and drik were reasonable. The hotel was only part full when we stayed so fairly quiet - I imagine it may get rather busy at peak times as the pool area is quite small.

Arrived to a beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean apartment, we had a wonderful stay and would definately go to the Casablanca again x the staff were friendly and helpful at all times x The hill is very steep down to the town but it's only 3.15euros back to the apartments from anywhere in peurta de la cruz x

Excellent place to stay.

An exceptionally pleasant experience with no problems whatsoever. They remembered us from a previous stay. The apartment was clean and extremely well furnished and stocked. Unlike most apartments we have stayed in, washing up liquid, dish towels and coffee filters were provided. This is a small thing but shows the attention to detail. They knew that it was my wife's 60th birthday on the Tuesday of our stay and invited us to have a bottle of Cava in the bar at their expense. This was a very nice touch and was greatly appreciated.

All in all a very pleasant experience and one we will repeat in years to come. Thank you very much for making our stay so pleasant.

Exceeded our expectations

We've just returned from 5 days here and it really did exceed our expectations. We had a studio apartment which comprised a double bedroom, small but fully fitted kitchen with table, sitting room with dining table leading out to a small balcony with space for small chairs and table. Also, a good sized bathroom. It felt as if we were staying in a home. Everywhere is immaculately clean. In fact, funniest moment was watching a man hoover the bowling green! The staff at reception were really helpful and pleasant. We didn't use any of the complex facilities but they all looked really nice. Our room was 5204 and it overlooked the centre of the complex. It really wasn't noisy. The only downside of our room was that sun didn't reach the balcony until mid afternoon and because of the position, you didn't get much sun even then. Still, there were plenty of loungers laid out around the grounds & reserving them with your towel wasn't acceptable! There's plenty of storage for all your bits and pieces. The weather was mixed for our stay with Saturday being overcast, very windy and with intermittent downpours. However, it was still warm. Another reviewer did warn to take something warm for evenings and I'd agree, plus slippers. Bus 343 from south airport takes you nearly to door. Mini-mart 2 mins from front door closes at 10pm (8.30 on Sun). It is v steep area so not for infirm. Bars across road, up the alley, do good, cheap food then walk it off by going up street to viewing point.

Fantastic apartments, great staff

We have just returned from a week long stay at the Apartments Casablanca and would highly recommend them. Lovely clean apartment and fantastic friendly staff. Fresh bread and croissants daily in the bar was a great help for breakfast and the apartment and kitchen were well equipped. Good quality travel cot for our son too who is 5months old and who slept very well in it. Free wifi in our room was also good.

Not that we needed air con at this time of year but it didn't seem that the apartment had it which might be a problem in the hotter months. Also our room smelled quite smokey when we first arrived.

Otherwise great, we would definitely stay again in the future.

Believe the reviews We had a very relaxing holiday Staff some of the best ever come across and facilities in good order if you want them but not in your face if you want to ignore them Food does not pretend to be fine dining but it is very reasonable One of the best holidays we have had So there are some steps down to the town ,we are pensioners --- probably not as fit as we should be ----too much eating and drinking-----so we just took our time and there is a tapas bar towards the bottom not to mention the baker ---cakes and coffee at the bottom! Very good will doubtless be back

we had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff that welcomed us was very friendly informative and helpful. The pool was ok and the room very comfortable. The location was ona hill near the town adnwas a 15 minute walk to the centre quite steep going back.

Lovely apartments. Simple but comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Well equipped but could have done with bowls in the kitchen. Useful touches like supplying soap, tea towels and washing up liquid. The complex is great with a lovely pool area, bar and entertainments. Carpark is a bit awkward. But overall really great experience.

Excellent apartment resort with great service

Casablanca is a very professionally run resort complex with excellent apartments, friendly and helpful reception staff with on-site basic but adequate restaurant facilities. Pleasant pool area and humorous organiser of bowling green competitions for those who like bowling. We will return again soon.
