The room was relatively clean. The beds were comfortable, enough dishes for 2. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower. They up charged to use the room safe plus a deposit! Also we requested a fan and they asked a 20 Euro deposit and $3.00 a day! Seriously! Next they’ll have a coin operated elevator! Staff were friendly, helpful and it was a good area for restaurants and shopping, etc. Too far to walk to decent beach though.

First it’s cheap compared to others so that has to be factored in BUT it’s very dated and dirty unfortunately. There is no air con in room nor heating . You have to rent a fan and have to pay for the safe in the room !!!
It’s just really old and tired and more 1 star property . The reception staff were lovely and helpful if you wanted to know anything - pool man was really unpleasant though. Got loungers and went to toilet - came back he’d removed everything saying can’t reserve - told him I went to use bathroom and he said either use the one in pool area (which was dirty so not doing that) or can’t keep the lounger!!! He was borderline aggressive .

Had a great stay here. Staff all extremely friendly and couldnt do enough for us , from the receptionist on arrival, to the cleaners , to the breakfast staff - nothing was too much trouble. Pool cleaned every morning while we breakfasted. Room was more than big enough , with a small balcony and some cooking facilities ( we didnt use ) - Microwave, hob and fridge , So much more than expected for the price. We recommend paying for breakfast as it was an awesome selection. In a nice area with plenty of bars and restaurants. We rented a car , but sometimes a little difficult to find a parking space ( though we always eventually found one nearby after approx 5 - 10 mins driving around ). Unsure how you would cope here without transport. We would definitely book here again !!

The stay was great after a big initial problem was sorted out. The room we were allocated (604) was on the ocean side of the building and had a great ocean view. HOWEVER the two apartments either side were privately owned and were occupied by VERY noisy Spanish people/families. So almost immediately we went to Reception to ask if we could change rooms. There were no rooms available that day for what we had paid so, to get a nice quiet room facing the pool we had to pay another 10 Eur a night. The new room was great, nice an quiet and from then on we had a very enjoyable stay. There are quite a number of these privately apartments snd they obviously need to be much more monitored/controlled.

I’ve been coming to this property for over 20 years and after a 6 year gap due to covid etc it was nice to be back. It’s 3 star so it’s basic but nice. Recently refurbished with better equipment in the mini kitchen and now even a hairdryer. No evening meals anymore, but plenty of options nearby. Pool nice but missing a few tiles which makes it look dirty, but I saw plenty of cleaning etc. grounds kept nice. Staff friendly. Used the laundry €6 for a wash. All in all nice to be back and nice to see those little improvements.

Enjoyable return visit.

We have visited Coral Teide Mar several times in recent years and have always been very happy with our experience. The reception staff in particular were very welcoming and helpful.
Our only comment is that the hotel needs updating in some public areas and while our bathroom was adequate the fittings were worn.

The staff at Coral Teide Mar could not have been more helpful and accommodating however the apartments needed a little attention, chipped cupboards, missing bars on inside of fridge doors, broken washing lines, missing sink plugs etc. and would benefit from a few additional items such as a toaster or grill, ice cube tray, additional pillows, more hangers, dish cloth and tea towel. Sun beds are uncomfortable, would benefit from some cushioning but overall was ok for the price

It has a lovely garden and pool area, with views of Mount Teidi, that is a perfect place to relax. Do choose a pool view room if you can. Great views of the sea are only a 5 minute stroll away, with plenty of shops and a supermarket even closer. And a regular, friendly maid service. Very pleased we chose it.

yes what is good it is an old fashioned Spanish hotel with a beautiful garden & pool which you can see is being updated since the( Thomas cook holiday company fiasco) ! it also has a mix of mainly paying guests with a few residential apartments it also has a very good mix of nationalities mainly Scandinavians this time , the staff are very warm helpful and polite even to Brexit English ,just a nice not dirt cheap but good quality hotel now even offering evening meals !

Good hotel with exceptional selection at breakfast both hot and cold food for 6 euros a day. Only downside was Wi-Fi is not included and if required is charged at 5 euros a day or 10 euros for 3 days per DEVICE! Also even when paid for not good in our room. The Wi Fi really lets the hotel down and should be included in these days.

The staff could not have been any friendlier or more helpful. The room wasn't fabulous but it was clean, comfortable, everything worked fine (hobs, sink, taps, shower, etc) and had a fantastic view over the pool and gardens.

The bottom line is that we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to return here.

My partner and I had stayed previously in this Aparthotel. We come back here because it offers all the amenities we like at a reasonable price. I enjoy tennis, my partner likes swimming. We enjoy dancing and we have found two places close by to the Aparthotel that offer dinning & dance in the evenings. The weather in the North of Tenerife is better for us than in the South. The view from our room was fantastic. We enjoyed the food and the music in the evenings. There is a well stock supermarket just round the corner.

Very comfortable stay for the price

Not luxurious, but comfortable, clean and friendly for the price. They had no problems with us keeping our bicycles in our apartment, which was a nice easy-going, friendly and flexible attitude. They were helpful in the event of a medical problem. The garden is nice, sunny and peaceful. The area is nice and chilled out, near the lovely Botanic gardens.

We were not wanting a beach holiday. The hotel does have a pool and pleasant surrounding area for sun bathing. We hired a car and found our location convenient for various excursions. The 3 star rating reflects the hotel accurately. The staff were very cheerful and friendly, there was usually someone on reception who could speak English. Our sheets and towels were changed most days. You needed to go down to the foyer to get wifi, not a problem for us.

Basic aparthotel set in lovely gardens/pool area

The weather was unusually poor for much of our stay - unusual even for November - we are regular visitors to La Paz so speak from experience.The first week of our month's stay was very warm and pleasant, however. We last stayed in Teide Mar Apts 8 years ago and it is a shame that only basic renovation work has been carried out. The block needs upgrading if it is to make the best of ts location and good staff. I resented being charged for use of Wifi in the entrance zone to the tune of up to 5 euros per day. Never before have I been charged for internet access in a hotel, as a paying, residential guest. Similarly, there is a charge of up to 3 euros per day to use the TV. - useless if you don't speak Spanish or German! The TV is very small and old.

Fairly decent hotel, get what you pay for

Our time at Teide Mar was quite enjoyable - the room was quite decent, clean, and well looked after, providing a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the pool and the Teide volcano (book a room with a view of the pool, it's much better than one of the street), crockery and cutlery for breakfast in your room, and large, if not somewhat firm beds. The staff were helpful throughout, although a little absent when we went down to the bar for a drink one evening, but happy to help otherwise. The other patrons of the hotel were either fellow holidaymakers, or those who owned their apartments there, which wasn't a problem, but for a somewhat stuffy dog smell in the corridor leading to our room. We didn't opt for the meals, or entertainment, as there was plenty on offer outside the hotel. For what it is, Teide Mar provides decent value for your money, but isn't a high standard.

We stayed half board and found the hotel and surrounding area very enjoyable. The food from the buffet at breakfast and dinner and service from the staff was excellent. There was plenty of choice and plenty of it. It was good to actually get a taste for traditional foods of Tenerife in the hotel as most bars and restaurants through out the Island were either catering for the English or Germans.
Swimming pool and outside area's were also very nice.
We had a hire car for the two weeks and everywhere on the Island seemed to be accessable within two hours, Anaga mountains, Teide, Los Christianos, Santa Cruise, Los Gigantes Ycod etc etc.

Good budget hotel

Looks nice from outside, upon arrival we had to confirm an attraction booking but had trouble with phones so the chap on reception phoned for us without being asked. Hotel and room clean although a little tired. Spacious room, large balconies. Only one day a week towels not changed/room made up. Gardens and pool looked good, plenty of space.
Upon leaving the hotel along the corridor another guest was arriving with six legs (cockroach). Did not sample the breakfast or dinner (buffet) as dinner 11 euro and so many nice places nearby doing three course deals around 8 euros. Dining room/bar looked clean and spacious. Hardly saw anyone in bar. One night of entertainment (Sat) ok if Spanish.
If like entertainment check out big hotel diagonally opposite Teide's entrance. Taxis always available outside, range from 3 - 5 euros to/from town if don't like 20 minutes walk (lots of steps the shortest way). Would recommend if on a budget, also would recommend hiring a car as most attractions apart from Loro Park are miles away. Good bus services and plenty of coach trips if rather avoid hire car. Kitchen very basic, kettle, fridge and small hob and just enough utensils.

Could be nice with some TLC

The Teide Mar is in need of a serious makeover - the reception is smart enough but the lifts (rattly), corridors (broken floor tiles) & rooms (gloss paint needed re-doing; dirty grout/seals in bathroom )need a complete overhaul. The pool needs retiling & some heat would have been nice - it was very bracing in mid March!

The owners should also provide rooms with double beds - our request (made well in advance of arrival) was not met.

Hotel was large and friendly. Huge public areas. Did feel like a hotel who's days of glory had been in the past! Room size was good and the room was clean, but very basic. Worst thing were the beds, which were quite uncomfortable, so if you have trouble sleeping in a strange bed, this might be a hotel to avoid. Kitchenette was OK but the fridge was a bit on the noisy side. We had a balcony with a garden view and of the Teide which was very pleasant. Having said all the above, we had a nice time. I think it would be a fine hotel for people who are not too fussed about creature comforts.

Good location, good value for money.

This is self-catering accommodation and is very nearly excellent value for money. In our room, the kitchenette let things down badly - distorted, broken worktop, tap barely attached, cooking utensils minimal. However, everything worked and we managed simple meals. The beds were firm but comfortable, the bathroom a bit tatty but serviceable. Elsewhere, the hotel looked tired and dated, but is decent enough. We suggest you avoid rooms at the front, as this side is dominated in the evenings by loud music from the bar which faces the street on the ground floor, though, to be fair, the music stopped at 23:00. The pool/garden area is nice. One of the best things was the helpful and pleasant staff on reception; we were allowed to keep our room until late on the last day. The location is good, with a good supermarket (the Sumo) nearby and plenty of good restaurants. We found the walk down to the town centre and back no problem. Parking very near the hotel can be difficult - you can always find somewhere, but it could be a few hundred metres away. Recommended with some reservations; value for money is good.

A basic hotel but well located to tour the area and it was surrounded by shops and restaurants and near to the sea. Parking is on the street but there was no problem in parking near to the hotel. Staff were helpful, our accomodation was on the ground floor and the patio door was only secured by a door chain which alowed it to open about 3 inches. This was obviously unsatisfactory and the reason for the low mark above. However when it was pointed out a bolt was fitted to solve the problem. Food was buffet service and though we looked we decided to both dine and breakfast out. A German cafe nearby (Sandra's# provided an excellent and good value breakfast #3.5 euros), and there were plenty of places for dinner.
The pool and public areas were pleasant and well maintained.

Simple no-fuss hotel, relaxing atmosphere

Stayed in Teide Mar apartments for 11 nights in September 2012, very good value for money and a very relaxing stay. Rooms were of a good size, basic but had everything we needed. We were self catering and ended up eating out for most meals so cannot rate the food. The cooking equipment is good and everything was clean. During our stay we had to move rooms as building work was taking place above our room and would carry on for the duration of our stay which was very noisy and disruptive, but the staff were helpful and gave us a replacement room straight away without any fuss. The hotel seems a little tired in some aspects but everything is in working order, we did have a small leak through the ceiling in our bathroom which we reported to the reception but that was the only thing that I could complain about in regards to the condition of the hotel, as it was kept very clean and tidy.
Lots of little shops and restaurants nearby and also 2 supermarkets so you can easily buy in food if you want to cook for yourself. The town is about a 20 min walk down lots of steps but taxis are cheap and there are a lot of hire car companies close to the hotel, the botanical garden is worth a visit and there are a couple of nice restaurants opposite the gardens which make a change from eating in the towns centre. We really enjoyed our stay and it was great value for money and a great location as easy to get around by foot along as you don't mind the steps.

This hotel met our needs, the rooms were ample size, extremely clean with a balcony over looking the pool. Teide could be seen in the distance and the botanical gardens were a 5 minute walk away. The hotel restaurant wasn't worth a second visit, the hot buffet was cold. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance were available and served good food. The walk to the local town /beach took approximately 15 mins and was down a good number of steps, which weren't too tiring

Calm place with great garden. Perfect for small children or senior couples

The hotel has seen its glory days pass, but it still has some charm. For us it was a great choice, since we have a two-year-old that could run around on the big soft lawn, and loved the little playground in a secluded corner of the lovely green garden.
The rooms however, have balconies with extremely low and insecure rails that our kid could creep right through, so we had to keep the door shut at all times.

We tried the breakfast buffet, and it was ok, but rather dull. I wouldn't try a lunch or dinner at this hotel.

The surrounding area is perfectly suited for elderly people. Most of the surrounding little restaurants are really very nice, and it's easy to get around with a prom or a wheelchair. Everything is very calm and well-ordered (maybe due to the many german people here?)

Getting down to the city center is a rather steep walk with many flights of stairs, and some very narrow sidewalks. 20 minutes walk without the prom.

Puerto de la Cruz is a very friendly little town and we were never even once disapponted with the food. Last year in Los Christianos on the south side of Tenerife we found only one good restaurant in a full week.

We stayed at tiede mar for one week in Feb'2010. I had read reviews prior and had booked a pool side balcony, which was definitely the best idea. Luckily we got the top floor, so we had great views. So I would request a top floor room again. Rooms were cleaned really well. Kitchen was a bit run down, but had everything we needed. Used the safe for 9 euros in the room which is always handy. Next to the hotel were some restaurants and bars, not many very Spanish, though the ones there were, were lovely; and a 30 minute walk into the main town there were more authentic restaurants there and a lively atmosphere. Tennis court well maintained. Helpful staff. Didn't go to any entertainment or eat in the hotel, so cant comment on that. Handy location. Could never get a sun bed!!!!!!!! Though was happy on the grass. Would stay again, good 3 star accommodation.

Quite liked the Teide Mar

Although the Teide Mar is a bit dated in some respects it is reasonably priced and adequate.We stayed half board and the meals were substantial with limited choices.Not many English speaking guests there but this did not seem a problem and we enjoyed the atmosphere.Overall a pleasant stay in a what you might call a \"unique\" hotel. It was clean and the staff were very friendly.

Das Personal war sehr nett. Die Reinigung war immer sehr gut.

Das WLAN war schlecht. Die Betten waren viel zu weich, sodass man Rückenschmerzen bekommt. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, sondern nur einen Ventilator gegen Aufpreis. Die Hitze staut sich sehr im Zimmer. Zudem sind die zwei Kochplatten nur sehr klein und das Essen in der Pfanne zuzubereiten dauert dadurch sehr lang. Eine Platte funktionierte nicht gut.

Bon séjour passé dans l'hotel Coral Teide Mar. La piscine et l'espace vert sont bien entretenu. Les chambres sont bien équipées. Les lits sont un peu vieillissant donc pas très confortables et il n'y a pas de clim dans les chambres.

Je recommande de prendre le petit déjeuner sur place car sur Hotels.com le prix est plus cher et vous ne bénéficiez pas de la réduction pour les séjours de plus de 3 jours. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet complet et bon.

Es wird sicher hier und da das Nötigste instandgesetzt, das war’s dann aber auch, und das vermutlich seit 20 Jahren.
Das Personal ist nett und gibt sich alle Mühe.
Günstig gebucht und günstig bekommen.
Ich würde das nächste Mal lieber etwas mehr ausgeben und dafür ein schöneres Hotel wählen.

Buena relación calidad precio, aunque las instalaciones son antiguas está todo limpio y bien conservado.
Una pega lo q suena el frigorifico y mucho ruido exterior.

Globalement bonne expérience, personnel tres sympathique et chaleureux c'est très agréable, piscine avec gazon très bien, petit déjeuner énorme, y'en a pour tous les goûts c'était vraiment top !! Localisation très bien aussi avec des dizaines de resto a côté et pas trop loin de la plage. Un peu difficile de se garer dans la rue car on est en plein centre ville et il n'y a pas de parking mais si on arrive pas trop tard ça reste correct on trouve assez facilement.
Lit très confortable, Ménage fait quasi tous les jours, pour autant l'hôtel est très vieillot, les chambres aussi et on a eu de petits insectes dans la chambre à plusieurs reprises, cest le seul point negatif du séjour.

Hôtel passable. Assez bruyant (passage de la tondeuse à 7h du matin, mauvaise insonorisation), pas très propre.
Bon point pour le nombre de transats à la piscine.

Un hotel con una relación calidad/precio estupenda. El hotel tiene sus años pero está correcto en todo. Muy limpio y el personal de recepción es muy agradable. Contratamos el desayuno que era bufet libre y también estaba bien. La piscina, bien y no estaba tampoco masificada. Asi que lo recomiendo para el precio que tiene.

El personal muy amable .como sugerencia deberían plantearse abrir la cafetería de la sala de juegos un poco de música y un camarero te animan a jugar un billar un futbolín o ver un partido mientras tomas algo sin la necesidad de salir de las instalaciones en la tarde noche

Très bel établissement, personnel très sympathique, emplacement idéal à /- 10 15min du centre et du lago martianez, une station de taxi et arret de bus au pied de l'hôtel au cas ou. Chambre spacieuse et propre, ménage fait tout les jours j'ai hâte d'y revenir !

Viides kerta tässä hotellissa, eli ilmeisesti pidämme siitä.
Ystävällinen henkilökunta, kaunis allasalue,keskivertoa isommat huoneet mökkikeittiöllä, lyhyt matka lähes joka paikkaan( kauppoihin, ravintoloihin, nähtävyyksiin jne)Selkeästi vaatimatonta parempi, mutta matkaa luxukseen on.
Iso plussa siisteydestä.

Em geral correu bem porque foi igual aos comentários que aqui li. A parte em que ficamos a dormir era bastante antiquada e a precisar de renovação. A cozinha tem poucos utensílios. Muito barulho da rua também porque a janela é velha e com fraco isolamento. Num dos dias apareceu nos uma barata gigante na banheira vinda da ventilação. A cama era confortável e a parte da piscina com toda a envolvencia era muito gira. A localização era boa e vinham limpar quase todos os dias. Funcionários simpaticos. Só o estacionamento não correspondeu ao esperado uma vez que tinha lido que estava incluído e afinal disseram nos que é privado e que tinhamos que estacionar na rua

Hôtel avec un accueil très chaleureux.
Calme, reposant … piscine avec pelouse et propreté dans un cadre de verdure aux arbres magnifiques.
Petit déjeuner très simple et bien suffisant, et surtout très propre.
A noter, cependant, quelques bruits la nuit ( touristes bruyants de retour de fête…)
Pour résumer, très bon séjour…

La principal función de un alojamiento debe ser el descanso de sus clientes. Aquí es muy difícil descansar. No hay aire acondicionado ni ventilador y obligatoriamente hay que abrir la terraza para que entre algo de aire pero el ruido es bastante molesto

Hinta/laatusuhteeltaan hyvä, lisäksi ystävällinen henkilökunta.
Yleisilme vähän nuhjuinen, mutta kaikki tilat pidettiin puhtaina.
Hyvä aamiainen( muuta ruokaa täältä ei saa).
Kaunis allasalue. Suosittelen sekä pariskunnille, että lapsiperheille.
Tilavan huoneiston ansiosta ei kuukauden matkalla tulleet seinät vastaan😎
