What an amazing week we’ve just had at this amazing hotel.

We’ve just come back from a weeks stay at the Atlantic Mirage hotel, we booked it back in July 2024 and we were so looking forward to our stay, I then started to read some of the reviews and got a little worried, I looked at cancelling the week before our stay but would’ve lost 50% of the cost, However, I’m so glad we didn’t cancel, because this hotel is amazing, every member of staff was so polite and couldn’t do enough for you, the rooms were amazing, the gym area was a really good size, the roof top area was amazing and offered drinks and food, the pool on the ground floor was a really good size, again this area offered food & drink.
The breakfast had everything, even sparkling wine & Caviar………..
The only issue we had was, the water in the shower doesn’t drain off as quick as it’s coming out the shower head, so it can start to flood the bathroom, just don’t have it on full blast and you will be ok.
We loved this hotel and what it offered us so much, we booked to go back in April, we can’t wait.

This hotel was the final stop of our Tenerife holiday, and we stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel as we had a planned route and were out during the day, but starting each morning with a wonderful open-buffet breakfast included in our reservation made our days even better. The friendly, helpful and kind staff truly enhanced our experience.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, and our room was beautifully designed with a modern, stylish interior and a stunning ocean view. At the end of the day, relaxing in the rooftop hot tub while enjoying delicious cocktails and that incredible view was the perfect way to unwind. The overall guest atmosphere was calm and refined, which made our stay feel even more special.

In the evenings, we enjoyed the Mediterranean vibe and Latin music at local pubs within walking distance. One evening, we also had dinner at the hotel and were very pleased with the wide variety and high quality of the menu.

We are truly happy that we chose this hotel to spend the final days of our holiday. Thank you to the entire team for being part of our beautiful memories.

Great hotel! Loved leaving the deck doors wide open to get a nice cool nights sleep. Views were amaxing. The cocktail bar on rooftop had lots of fun drink options. Views from room were incredible! Took the bus from TFN to La Paz-easy walk to hotel. Also took it to TFS when i left. Hotel is convenient to many great restaurants without heading to old town but would highly recommend going down there as there are many street cafes and fun watching the surfers too!

Beautiful hotel in a very quiet location. Super clean and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional and the roof top \"Vertigo\" Lounge Club is a hidden gem. Shopping is close by, but if you are looking for copies, then you are in the wrong place. It's either souvenir shops with I love Tenerife tops and towels or proper designer wear, nothing in between. Would highly recommend this hotel if you want somewhere quiet to chill out and relax fully.

We arrived quite late and when checking into the room, there was an issue with the toilet. It kept making a hissing soudn every few minutes which could be heard from the room and made it difficult to sleep. We raised this with the night reception staff who were unable to help - either by having someone look / move our room. This is perhaps unavoidable but there was no apology ot offer of any compensation. The toilet issue was resolved the next morning. Our arrival also coincided with the Tenerife hotel employee strikes so likely had an impact. The stand-out pro of the hotel for us was the roof terrace with hot tubs and sun loungers with fantastic sea or mountain views. The cocktails were good and there was a low-key DJ in the evening too. A great spot. The staff there as well as in the restaurant for breakfast were also lovely. I had a fantastic massage in the Spacio Spa too with Candy. The sea view from the room was also lovely. I'd say the downsides were the arrival as well as the room perhaps not being as \"premium\" as it appeared from the photos - you also had to pay additional for the robes and leave a deposit for the hotel towels which had to be rented from reception to use the sunbeds. The spa access was also at a cost. It is about a 30 min walk from Puerto de la Cruz centre and involves a pretty steep hill so be careful if you have any concerns over that. Overall, we had a great stay but perhaps not as \"lux\" as expected and the start let it down.

Amazing view, can see the ocean in front of you from the balcony. Facilities were good - pool, spa, gym. Food was decent and varied, but not amazing. Room was large, modern with some nice touches.

However, for the price it lacked the quality that I expected from a 4* hotel. Our drain smelled a little when showering and the shower flooded when on full power. On our last night the whole dining room smelled like sewage for some reason (staff gave no explanation). At times the staff were quite rude and unhelpful, especially when taking drinks orders in the restaurant.

I could hardly sleep - the hotel is located at the main pub street and the blinds were insufficient to keep the light from the bright neon signs outside dark. Also, there was a lot of noise - even in the morning from the bakery across the street.

As mentioned, the property does not have any onsite parking lot. The area around the property is apparently public parking. I had to park several blocks away after a day of site seeing, not a big deal for me, just something to keep in mind. The staff and the property itself was wonderful.

Enjoyed my stay. Very nice room with a great view of the atlantic ocean. My room was cleaned every day and my favourite thing was the mood lighting and frosted glass features in the bathroom.

Overall the other guests were quiet and respectful. My room was near the luggage storage room so around check-out times you would hear people go to and fro with their suitcases but I was not too bothered.

Vertigo Lounge was also very lovely with great cocktails and accomodating staff. Great area to catch the sun and also several Jacuzzis.

The spa was okay, but not really for me. Not all guests adhered to showering after the sauna and before the jacuzzi/pools so I opted to use the jacuzzis at Vertigo.

Great location, close to many restaurant options and easy walk to Puerto de la Cruz.

There was not enough space on the car park. We also made a remark to the reception about the lack of staff at lunch time: 2 staff for up to 35/40 clients on the rooftop. The staff was still lovely and doing their best but had to run from table to table. We felt sorry for them. In the evening, however, there was too many for very few customers. We saw the following day that the hotel listened to our feedback as there was more staff for lunch.

It was an ok stay. There were things that we expected that we didn’t get. Felt nickel and dimed. You had to pay for the safe in your room. Deposit for pool towel and they charged to get a fresh one each day. One large bottle of water for the entire week would have expected one each day. Wifi was terrible. They allow smoking on balconies in a resort with no central air. We couldn’t have our patio door open due to your neighbour smoking

The hotel was great. Very spacious room, comfortable bed and lovely view from the balcony. Breakfast buffet plentiful and lots of choices. Pool and hot tubs not too crowded with lots of good quality sun beds and a 'no reserving' policy which seemed to work. Bars a little pricey but a good selection of drinks available. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking was a bit of an issue but on-street parking was available nearby once the hotel parking was full. Our favourite local bar/restaurant was the Bellamar, situated a short walk away. We had 2 excellent meals there including a very spectacular Paella.

Nice hotel, great room, very clean. Friendly staff but unable to help with certain things because of very rigid policies and instructions they have to follow. Breakfast and dinner had a good selection of different dishes. Coffee was abysmal and the machines certainly need cleaning or replacing.
The biggest issue is that their terrace bar, which has very beautiful views and hot tubs for the guests, but the music played there is so incredibly loud and the playlists are so annoying that the space is rendered unusable. Mostly empty every day, the hotel owners have not picked up yet on the fact that the majority of their clients are over 60 and not there to 'party'. Unfortunately, we could also hear the music and the thumbing of the bass very loudly in our room in the evening. The staff managed to get them to lower the volume for a couple of hours but not completely stop.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and would not book again there. It's a shame it is so badly managed, as the rooms and the views are beautiful.

Unique hotel set into side of a cliff. All rooms are ocean view with nothing but sea stretching out in front of your balcony.
Room was better than expected with a huge King size comfortable bed. Fell asleep each night to the constant crescendo of crashing waves. Just awesome
You check in on the 7th floor (ground level of parking lot and pool area). Roof top seating area and hot tub on the 10th floor.
Pool and roof top areas are mostly breeze less which means that even a sunny day of 18C or 65F is more than enough heat to need cooling off. Pool is not heated.
The walk down to the very nice waterfront of restaurants and shops is 20 minutes. The walk up is good exercise and you might even need to take a rest halfway up.
Very safe and family friendly town. One of the few places we wish we could have stayed longer.
The only real downside was the parking which you will see in other reviews. Arrive around 2pm for best chance of parking at the hotel otherwise be prepared for a 10 minute walk

Food at the buffet was adequate but I think that was more to match the clientele who wanted to simply chow down. Have a cerveza or sangria on the rooftop terrace and admire the views and take in the tranquility. We sure did.

There must be an issue with plumbing as we checked in a customer was complaining his room was flooded from the shower again and the staff had not resolved for three days. We checked in and we’re only staying for one night and room flooded from shower very quickly. Staff were not really apologetic and seemed like they did not care. Worst service I think I have ever had.

Wonderful location,stanning views ,quiet place,amazing hotel roof terrace and swimming pool.Hotel lift goes slow what causes a bit annoying waiting in the morning and evening when all guests use it to the restaurant.The alternative is running up and down the stires what is not always pleasant.Spa area is good,has wonderful design ,but we mension some problem with the electrisity in the sauna( ligthing)and steem room never riches the optimal temperature to be warm enough.I had a massage as well and I'm very happy with.Food and service was very good as well.We had wonderful New year dinner and party with nice music.So generally very pleasant and memorable stay.We wish to visit this hotel again.

Parking in front of hotel is limited. Had some problems with lifts not working. Hotel is being run at very high occupancy and sometimes had to que at breakfast for a few minutes.

Sound of the sea from your room

This hotel represents excellent value for money. I had bed and breakfast in a sea view room which had a small kitchenette and balcony overlooking the Atlantic. I left the balcony doors open all night and had the sound of the ocean waking me up on the morning. Not many places you can stay and have that experience. The balcony was on the cliffs with the sea below and uninterrupted view of Puerto De La Cruz from on high. It’s a trek to the town and uphill on the way back which does get a little tiresome if on foot as I was but it’s only a small price to pay for the location away from the town but close enough to enjoy it. Highly recommend.

We loved the rooms for their big beds, the wonderful seaview, great lighting, fridge and kettle. The staff were always pleased to help us. We always came back to a clean room which was especially nice as some of the beach usually came back with us! We only had breakfast and enjoyed the massive choice of food. If you like cocktails the rooftop Vertigo Bar served a wide variety of delicious, beautifully presented cocktails. Loved the Spa, what an amazing treat, trying out the different water 'treatments' was fun. We used buses and taxis to get to and fro from the beaches and centre of Puerto De la Cruz. El Teide was stunning, a long bus ride but so worth it. Try to go on a day with little cloud and low winds if you plan to use the cable car.
My only negatives, just 2: as a non smoker, guests are allowed to smoke on balconies, and smoke drifting in occasonally was extra horrible when you all you want to do is to breathe in fresh, sea air; the music from the rooftop was fairly loud in the afternoons and we wondered if it bothered local residents. Would I go again? Absolutely, we loved it and were sad to leave. Thank you for a great holiday!

Overall great stay, extended several times to a total of a week. Big rooms, all with sea view, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and new facilities.
The only down side for me was that the WiFi was awful. I had some work meetings to do while away and ended up buying a wifi dongle in the town, which was still not great. Otherwise was a great place to do some work given the size of the rooms, quiet location.

There are couple of good things about this hotel, however, during our 9 days stay we need to feedback following negative points-

1, During check-in, the reception wasn't really helpful when we asked for any advices for local restaurants, we got the answer why not try our hotel restaurant.

2, The room facility doesn't explain that this is a 4 star suite and spa hotel
-only give you all in one shower wash on the wall, instead of separate shampoo and body wash, conditioner. It made our hair and body very dry. As a hotel near beach and having swimming pool, you can see any body lotion pack, which is a basic for most resort we stayed.

- no air conditioning during winter time, but everyone knows Canary Island still get to 28 degrees

3, We asked for room slippers and bathrobe, which again is basic for 4 star hotel. We been told to buy our own one slippers from the shop, or pay 15-20euros to hotel for their bathrobe.

4, The WiFi throughout the hotel wasn't great, signal was really unstable. You get a ticket for two device when check-in, but this should be unlimited nowadays for a 4 star hotel.

5, The hotel lifts are with long wait, especially during breakfast, dinner and check-out period. It took us once 30 min to get one elevator and it's slow, wasting time

6, Be prepared to pay 10 euros deposit for getting towel from hotel for swimming pool. We stayed 9 days, if you want to change new towel, another 1 euro. This doesn't sounds a good service

Great hotel with top class facilities. Nice sea views from the room and amazing roof top bar with hot tubs. Probably one of the best hotels in the area. Not far from restaurants and city center. The only minor negative things are: limited parking at the hotel, limited cutlery (only small spoon) and glasses. Quality of the breakfast could be improved too.

Had a really relaxing few days at the Atlantic Mirage. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The spa was very reasonably priced spa and was by far the best hotel spa I have used. The hot tubs on the roof were the perfect place to watch the sunset with an excellent selection of cocktails. The room was clean and well designed with a lovely sea view from the balcony. Only downside was the shower seemed too powerful for the drain so overflowed onto the bedroom unless you stopped and started it. Also despite there been a kettle and mugs there was no tea or coffee facilities. Very minor things that would certainly not put us off from staying there again. Looking forward to returning soon!

A Luxurious Haven.

We had a lovely stay at the Atlantic Mirage Hotel, it was very clean and their COVID restrictions made you feel safe. The sunbeds were washed after use, hand sanitisers were located for easy use and everyone wearing masks where they needed to. The hotel was very comfortable and the Vertigo Roof Top Bar was amazing. We had Breakfast each day and the food was always of excellent quality and the staff were very friendly. I am Gluten Free and they catered well for me too. We would recommend staying here.

A few days

I enjoyed my few days here. My room had a view to die for overlooking the Atlantic. It was very spacious and comfortable. The bed and linens were quality. The facilities were excellent. The roof bar, spa and dining experiences were always good. However, the coffee was weak and undrinkable. There was no charge parking my rental car. There were some shops mini mart and restaurants just a block or two away.

Would definitely recommend

We stayed for one week on a B&B basis and found the hotel excellent all round.
The house keeping was top class as was the breakfast and all the facilities.
The pool area and the vertigo sky bar area were very good with plenty of sun loungers.
Rooms were very quirky with fancy colour changing showers and double Flinstone sinks, microwave oven (although not actually used) and very well designed room all with sea views.

Es ist nicht ganz einfach, dieses Hotel kurz zu beschreiben, da es insgesamt ein stimmiges Gesamtbild bietet – mit klaren Stärken und Verbesserungspotenzial.

Besonders positiv ist das durchweg freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Ob Rezeption oder Restaurant – man fühlt sich überall willkommen und gut betreut.

Wir hatten zum ersten Mal Halbpension gebucht und waren damit sehr zufrieden. Das Abendbuffet war abwechslungsreich, frisch und ansprechend präsentiert. Die Auswahl wechselte täglich und bot genug Vielfalt, sodass wirklich jeder etwas Passendes findet. Auch hier war das Service-Team aufmerksam und herzlich.

Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und funktional ausgestattet.

Beim Spa-Bereich hatten wir jedoch andere Erwartungen. Für ein 4-Sterne-Spa-Hotel hätten wir einen kostenfreien Zugang sowie Bademantel, Hausschuhe und eine größere Auswahl an Pflegeprodukten im Zimmer als Standard gesehen. Der kostenpflichtige Zugang passt für uns nicht ganz zum Konzept.

Insgesamt ist das Hotel dennoch eine gute Wahl – vor allem wegen des hervorragenden Service und der überzeugenden Gastronomie.

Essen war sehr gut. Personal war freundlich, bis auf Rezeption. Das Zimmer war einen behindertgerechtes Zimmer, so sah es auch aus. Dusche ohne Abtrennung, halber Kleiderschrank, Steckdosen unten, Waschtisch nur einer usw. Das Zimmer hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen. Das Hotel ist seht hellhörig.

Bel Hôtel, ascenseur inadapté ( date d’avant le réfit de l’hôtel, la climatisation inreglable, toujours du Froid même en mode chaud )
Déjà des éclairages non fonctionnels dans la chambre.
Arrivée à partir de 16h, on demande à aller au Spsa (payant 15€ par personne puisque le rooftop est fermé par cause de mauvais temps alors que l’en entend les rooftop des hôtels voisin.
Bref ça c’est pas top
