The staff are really friendly and the hotel was very clean. Food wasn’t great, not a lot of options, but what was there was nice. The Hotel is very dated and really needs a refurbishment, it definitely is not a 4 star hotel in its current state.

For the price it is similar to 3 star hotels for the same value and probably no better.

Also if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday this is not the hotel for it, lots of people out to party and lots of loud children including out of normal holiday terms.

As others have said, the rooms and decor are a bit dated, but not to an extent that it affects the overall enjoyment of the hotel.
The only other slight downside is a lack of diversity and selection on the food and the usual issue of bar staff deciding to \"overlook\" Brits waiting at the bar, in favour of locals who arrive after!

Location is great, outside of the centre enough to be quiet and only 5 or 6 euros in a taxi to the centre of town.
Stunning views of Mount Teide! Pool is lovely, as is the Spa.
The staff (apart from most bar staff) are lovely and very welcoming and happy to help. In fact, the staff really make the stay all the better and more than make up for the minor negatives most people mention.

Staff was very quick to help. Food was delicious and varied. Many places outside the room to hang out. Coffee was weak and rooms were a bit cold. Staff was quick with extra blankets and a space heater. Gym did not open until 10 am. Earlier would have been better.

Nice basic family hotel. Room a bit tired and very basic. Noisy a/c in room. Buffet style restaurant, food nice but not a lot of variety. Nice freshly cooked omelette at breakfast. Very small carpark, charged us 10 Euros per night. Long walk to town centre and sea front. Taxi about 8 euros each way.
Very nice spa with pools, sauna and steam room. Hot and cold showers and cold plunge pool. Treatments available if you pre-book.

The hotel is set at the back of Puerto de la Cruz, but has good views across the town. There is parking, and at the time of writing, the cost was €10 per night. Although parts of the hotel are a little dated, it is clean, and well run. Staff were very friendly. We had the all inclusive. The food was a good variety of Spanish and International cuisine, and there was plenty of choices. The hotel had plenty of amenities, such as gym, tennis court, table tennis, petanque and pool to name a few. The hotelbhas extensive and well maintained gardens. Every evening there was entertainment each from 9-10.30ish, which was usuallya variety act. There is a free bus into town several times a day. The hotel lobby also has a an excursions booth. The room i had was large and clean with daly housemaid service. I really enjoyed the experience of The Blue Sea Jardin.

Excellent hotel for a break for the UK

Quality food - possibly too much (!), pleasant bar staff and fun entertainers who run activities for children & adults as well as providing evening entertainment.

Housekeeping was superb - absolutely fantastic service.

The hotel had a lovely view of the volcano and the mountains, but it was quite a long walk away from high street down a steep hill. It wasn’t a problem to do the walk a couple of times, but definitely not every day. There was a little bit of a language barrier, which we didn’t expect, because we knew Tenerife is a popular holiday destination for many, but the staff were lovely, in particular one of the ladies, whose name I didn’t unfortunately get, who was very helpful and patient when I was putting my poor Spanish skills into practice.
There was good entertainment during the day and in the evening. Dani was great and made us laugh many times.
It is a hotel with great potential, but still with some work to be done, as it is so far from centre of town, they have the difficult task to make sure most of what one might need on their holiday is provided and they seem to be going in the right direction (there were some repairs being done during our stay).
We would love to return in a few years time to see how they’ve grown.

Had a very relaxing stay at costa jardin and spa - most of staff very friendly rooms cleaned every day and towels changed when requested
Location on the outskirts of Puerto de La Cruz the hotel provided a shuttle bus about five or six times a day to the shopping centre/centre of Puerto de La Cruz and back again which was very helpful as a very steep walk back to hotel
Outside pool - pool table - snooker table all very good
Food was okay always found something to eat - dissapointed that one day chicken was pink (from show cooking) so check it’s all cooked but rest of times was good
Met some lovely people all trying to make the most of the sun at this time of year being close to volcano and height of hotel from sea level I think affected cloud level but it never stopped us having a great time
Plenty of choice of drinks at the all inclusive bar and fruit and sandwich outside of meal times which was helpful if you had been out and missed a meal
Only disappointment was we booked this hotel as it had indoor facilities - indoor pool jacuzzi and spa but it was out of action being refurbished which would have been nice when weather wasn’t nice enough to sit by outdoor pool - I feel we should have been informed about this before our stay and we never received the facilities we payed for and was offered

The hotel stay is good. Staff are nice and friendly. However the food options were very limited with negligible vegetarian, international or local options. Food was recycled over multiple days. Leftovers from one night were recycled into a different dish the next day. Dissappointed with food in this hotel.

Hotel, the pool with a lot of sunbeds and the gardens with all the flowers, palms and everything were really nice. Also the location is really nice, only park the car is sometimes pretty hard. What was definitely worse was the food, we were excepting much more from 4 star hotel in Europe, quality of the food was really poor. I don't mind the small selection, but I thin the quality is important. Even we had all inclusive, we went to eat several times outside to the city. We had the cheapest room, but I still at least excepted to change our towels. This never happened and we stayed there 5 nights! Only 2 sockets in the room and one of them worked only sometimes, another one in bathroom, so charge the phones, laptop and other things we needed to be able to work, was little bit challenging. It's little bit sad because this hotel has a great potential. But stuff was really nice. Fortunately we are really easy going persons so we enjoyed the stay here anyway, even without clean towels, but next time we will probably stay in another hotel.

I really liked the hotel overall. The pool area and terraces were lovely and the grounds were beautiful with all the plants and flowers. Shuttle bus into town was great and punctual, we used it a few times.

Food was a let down, not enough choice. What was available wasn’t bad I would have just have liked more options. Also the animation staff were present but didn’t do much. Mini disco is advertised at 20:30 and at 20:40 I had to knock on the door to ask if there were actually doing it. This also happened with the kids club during the day which should have been 10:30-12:30 but finished earlier and earlier everyday and there were around 5-6 kids waiting there daily so they had no excuse not to open. They just didn’t want to, which was a shame cause the kids loved it!

Hotel dated bathrooms bedrooms need make over. A fantastic pool and plenty of sumbeds. Some female Reception staff quite rude. Others very nice.
Good buffet food always plenty of it. Sofas need cleaning upgrading in public area. But house keeping excellent rooms and public areaa very clean. A good location for a break. Shuttle bus through day to town. Taxis only 5 euro if not wanting to walk up hill on way back! All in all a very nice place!

The hotel was ok - lacked things that would have made our stay more comfortable: tea kettle, fridge & tea making facilities.
The hotel is a distance from main area but we didn't mind the walk. But having tea making facilities like a kettle would have been nice rather than pay €1.50 every time we wanted tea.
The hotel had 2 irons!!! And no ironing board.
Everything you wanted required a deposit.
Beach towels were shredded and lacked fresh laundry look.
Housekeeping isn't very thorough. In the end, we didn't want them cleaning our room & just changed towels.
The reception (except Sonia) lacked English & communication skills.
The only good thing about the hotel was the pool and there were families which was nice.
Don't except anything great as you will be disappointed.
If you want basic facilities & no communication with any staff, you'll be fine.
It's too bad as we think this hotel has A LOT of potential to be a great place.

Great hotel if you want to relax!

The hotel was perfectly convenient (if you have a car). It's about a 15 minute walk down the hill to the hopping part of town with restaurants, bars, clubs, etc....For families that just want to mostly enjoy the hotel with all its amenities then this is a GREAT place! My biggest concern are the mattresses. Mine was HARD..not firm, but hard. I had to get the extra blankets from the closet and make an extra pad under the sheets. I stay in more than 65 hotels each year and this hotel's mattress ranks in the top 5. Bring an extra pad unless you are used to VERY FIRM mattresses. Parking is a bit challenging around the tiny circular driveway, but the neighborhood is relatively available if you need to park the car. I would stay here again since the value is outstanding!

I'm very happy with the hotel staff at the reception, the cleaning ladies and the people in the bar.

Over all I'm having an okay stay here, but I do have some issues that makes me sure, that I won't come back or recommend this hotel to others.

I find it strange that the pool closes at 6pm. It's very early.

The wifi doesn't work in our room at night.

The variety of food in the restaurant is good, but the quality doesn't match.

It would be nice if the bar had a list of drinks they can make, so the customer can see what he can choose from.

I find it very disturbing that there are so many drunk guests at a family hotel. Some of them I've seen become quite violent, loud and rude.
One morning we saw that one of the room's refrigerators had been thrown over the balcony and is now laying on the ground outside our teresse.
There are also some people that smoke here, and that okay with me, but when they use my balcony as an ashtray, I find it disgusting.

It's super weird that there are chickens walking around the pool area. I think it's very unhygienic that I can walk around in chicken poo when I'm going for a swim.

My room was facing north. The room was nice, but the view could be better. Maybe some landscaping could improve the area.

Das Hotel hat Potenzial. Es ist authentisch eingerichtet und der Umgebung super angepasst. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war okay, es ist grundlegend sauber, jedoch nicht hervorragend. Nachdem unser Zimmer gemacht wurde, konnte man leider noch Altreste sehen, als wenn einmal kurz durchgewischt wurde.

Die Betten waren okay, für uns das Kissen zu klein und das Bett zu hart, dafür kann das Hotel aber nichts.

Wir hatten Frühstück gebucht und das war sein Geld überhaupt nicht wert. Alles hat leider überhaupt nicht geschmeckt, war schon kalt, trocken, schmeckte mehlig. Also leider qualitativ sehr schlecht.

Hôtel vieillissant, mais le personnel est très gentil et serviable.
Les buffets est copieux et correct.
Nous avions pris la demi pension donc les boissons ne sont pas comprises il faut payer 3€/personne et par repas pour boire autre choses que de l’eau.
Les lits sont fait tous les jours ou presque mais les draps ne sont pas changés systématiquement.
La salle de bain était en mauvais état, vous mettez les serviettes dans la baignoire pour qu’on vous les change mais on vous en remet que la moitié.
En résumé hôtel correct.

L’hôtel est correct, la piscine et le spa sont propres mais opérationnel.
Par contre français et italien ne prenaient pas le All inclusive. La bouffe est mangeable que par des anglais.
Pour le spa c'est 18€ par séance et les cocktails simple comme pina coloda et mojito ne sont pas compris dans le prix et ne sont fait que vendredi et le samedi soir.

Ich fand das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir checkten absolut kurzfristig ein und es hat alles problemlos geklappt. Das Frühstück war üppig und von allem genügend da.
HP und All In kann ich genauso wenig bewerten wie die Nutzung der sonstigen Anlage.
Diese könnte sicherlich etwas renoviert werden, aber wir waren eigentlich nur zum Schlafen da und es war alles sauber. Die Lage fand ich super ruhig.
Wer einen Parkplatz benötigt, könnte ohne da stehen. Auf Nachfrage, wo man denn sonst parken könnte, außer auf dem vollen Hotelparkplatz, vernahm ich leider nur ein Schulterzucken. Aber nach einigen Runden konnte man dann, 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt, gute Möglichkeit finden.
Ich könnte mir insgesamt vorstellen, dort noch einmal zu übernachten.

Man sieht dem Hotel an, dass es mal sehr schön gewesen ist. Leider ist alles sehr verwohnt und der Garten ist nicht mehr vollständig begehbar. Wir haben Kakerlaken in unserem Zimmer entdeckt. Eklig. Die Betten von meinem Mann und mir waren unterschiedlich hoch. Auf dem Balkon gib es lose Fliesen. Eine Matratze war eine alte Federkernmatratze auf der Mann beim liegen jede Feder spürte. Das Personal ist teilweise freundlich. Es gibt einen Shuttlebus vom Hotel in die Stadt und wieder zurück. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Hôtel très moyen, le spa est fermé depuis longtemps et nous ne sommes pas prévenus à l’avance, le restaurant est médiocre (plats décongelés, sucrés et trop gras, aucune variété) et on ne prévient pas que les boissons sont payantes (prix non affichés).

L’hôtel est bruyant à cause des colonies d’enfants qui viennent là-bas presque chaque jour de la semaine, cela fait du bruit qui résonne dans les couloirs.

Habitación 119 le falta una reforma mas moderna. Mobiliario anticuado. Se ve cambiaron la cabezera de la cama y se ven los agujeros en la pared de la anterior... esto se arregla con un poco de masilla...falta cuidar detalles. Hay un taburete en el escritorio pero mejor no sentarse ya que sus patas se mueven todas...Eso no lo ven? Supongo que tendran habitaciones mas modernas pero esta no..

Notre chambre n 123, vu sur les évacuations de cuisson avec odeur et impossibilité de laisser ouvert sinon odeur horrible, coq qui chante à partir de 2h du mat et porte communicante avec la chambre d’à côté sans aucune isolation acoustique ou l’on a pu participer à la vie des voisins, demande de changement de chambre mais apparemment hôtel complet. On entend des bruits de machines qui fonctionnent une bonne partie de la nuit sûrement dans la cuisine située au dessous.
Cependant personnel d’accueil très à l’écoute et au niveau du self, certaines serveuses ne sont pas serviables. Expérience très médiocre pour un 4 étoiles.
