We had a suite. It was very nice.

The pool was “under maintenance” which was pretty upsetting for the kids. The pool was on and looked perfect but we weren’t able to use it. The person at the front desk had no idea when it would be ready.

A comment on the breakfast item ( French toast ).
The French toast was inedible because it was so hard, the plastic knife was not able to break it into pieces.
The room was clean albeit outdated.
The guy who checked us in was very nice and friendly and helpful. The woman at the desk upon checkout was curt and acted like she couldn’t be bothered. Either she was having a bad morning or she’s the wrong person for the job.

Breakfast was terrible. Saw a staff member open the syrup bottle with her teeth. The pool was broken and we had group of kids staying there for the pool and the website has no notification that the pool would not be in use. Will not be staying here again.

We loved the new hotel with the comfortable bed, pillow snd linens. The bathroom was very nice with space and counter space. It’s also nice to put your luggage on the bench. There could be more lighting in the room. The breakfast was great. Loved the brewed coffee

We have been staying at Holiday Inn Express for a few years now. It’s our goto hotel. Everything was great , my only complaint was the pool was closed and not pinned on the site when booking. That was a huge part of picking this hotel as it was a weekend getaway for my wife and I. Other than that it was a great stay. Jenna was great in accommodating us with a later check out. She was definitely a sweetheart

The staff was friendly. There was too much smoking going on in rooms on the 2nd floor. The smell of weeds constantly coming into the room I was staying with my two daughters. There was way too much banging coming from the other room it was hard to sleep throughout the night. The ice machine was not working in every floor I had to go to the fourth floor very inconvenient.

The room was supposed to be accessible. The bed was so high I had a lot of difficulty climbing into it. The bathroom lacked grab bars where needed, and none at the toilet. The room lacked soundproofing and was very noisy. Lots of door slamming, heavy, stomping feet upstairs, vacuum cleaners running, not restful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the TV was a nice. The best thing about my experience was the breakfast that's included in your stay. It was probably the best included breakfast I have ever had. I appreciated the turkey sausage alternative. Breakfast also included regular sausages, eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, cereals, yogurts, fruits, breads/bagels, and juices. They also had these warm and fresh cinnamon rolls that were amazing. They have a coffee machine that's available 24/7.

We asked for a quiet room and were placed on the 3rd floor. The hotel was busy and we understand that. However, it sounded like there were lots of people in the room above and next to us. There was lots of banging and running in the halls. It was both very late and then very early the next morning. Doors closing and slamming all over the place. There is no way to block out all the noise.

Check in was quick the room was clean and the breakfast was good! I stayed one night for a little getaway it’s in the cut but the Arundel Mills mall is a short drive away. Staff was friendly when I had to chat with them they even let me check out an hr later. I did notice two spots of a leak in my room not sure if they were aware and forgot to inform them.

The hotel itself was good. One elevator was not working properly and several of my guests were in their 80s. Also room keys kept deactivating and had to leave 80 year olds standing in the hallways while going back downstairs to reactive keys. bummer!!!

The stay was ok but definitely overpriced. While breakfast was very good for a hotel breakfast, we were told it opened at 6:30 on arrival day and on checkout day it was still closed at 7. We were traveling with friends, so we decided to meet for pizza in the lobby area one night, which had plenty of tables. We were watching the World Series and the front desk person came over and told us to keep our children quiet. Given the giant party of adults when I had checked in the night before carrying on, I was very surprised.
Additionally, the mattress and the sofa bed in our room was stained. The air conditioner was overly loud. The shower made a whistling sound the entire time you were in there using hot water. I understand it is just a Holiday Inn and not the Ritz Carlton, but I expected more given the price.

First room I checked into had stained sheets. The way the bed was made, room service 100% saw the stain and still made the bed with them. They moved my room, and did not put it in the system that they changed my room because a man walked in while I was in bed because they double assigned it. Management comped me a night, but this is still dangerous as a solo female traveler. While the room was overall clean, there was a hair in my bathtub and on the toilet. The gym was a treadmill that has to have been broken for months, one elliptical, and miscellaneous mismatched weights with no bench. No wonder they allow guests to use Fitness 19 around the corner for free. The omelets for breakfast were powdered eggs and flavorless. No waffle maker; only a pancake maker that made half-cooked pancakes. Zaman Grill is a nice restaurant in the area, for lunch/dinner, five minutes away.

Staff was great in all ny interactions. Room was fairly clean. However this was one of the loudest hotel's I have ever stayed at. Kids running up and down the halls unsupervised after 11pm. Slamming doors and doing ding dong ditch. Add in a 630am fire alarm that wasnt turned off until close to 730 and we didn't get a good night sleep at all.

when I book this hotel room.I requested to set up the sofa bed and when we get there.They said they don't set sofa bed.so we got extra pillow and blankets to set up ourselves.When we took out the top. it has a lot of molds spots we have to spray some alcohol and put a lot of layers sheets .so disgusting and the second day we can not open our door with the key card.I wouldn't book this again

The room was nice and clean. The drain plug for the tub was detached and in the middle of the tub on arrival (Possibly broken?) We went for a swim on Saturday night and there were no towels. When we asked the front desk, we were told that housekeeping had gone home so they couldn't be replaced or replenished.

The bathroom upon arrival was disgusting. I kindly requested it be re-cleaned in which i was “promised” it would be but it never was. Instead, we were moved to another room…
The ice machine on our floor did not work and there was no effort in repairing it (we were here for a week). One of the washing machine for guest use was out of service and after having a conversation with another guest who had been there 3 weeks prior… she said it was broken then too… so again no effort put forth for repair. The pool was digesting and out of service for the first several days we were there… stains on the hallway carpets, the AC in our room was loud and horrible! We had to keep it at 61 degrees just to feel “comfortable”. We will never stay here again….

Overall, our stay was average. However, it could have been exceptional had the rooms been properly cleaned and looked after maintenence-wise. First, the positives, every interaction I had with hotel staff was fabulous. Front desk personnel were so helpful and addressed concerns in a timely manner. Next the negatives, our room was not clean upon our arrival. I could feel grit on bathroom countertops, there was dust over all the furnture, and ourbwindow shade and sheer panel were a hot mess. The sheer panel bottom was coming apart and the wooden bottom was barely hanging to the rest of the panel. The blind itself had holes all over the right side. There was bits of paper and some kind of feathers all over the floor and stayed there until after our 3rd night. It also doesn't appear the toilet ever was cleaned. I also discovered a non working room phone. The hotel lobby itself was really nice and the breakfasts were pretty good considering they need to feed a large amount of folks.
