Our bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived. Looks like they missed it. The hallway to our room is always dirty. We have to beg for new towels and they always forget to bring to our room. Tv is small and old. AC is the best. So cold. Balcony comes with chairs is a plus. Location is the reason to stay here. Price was heavy but I say was almost worth it. Staff was friendly at least thank god.

Our all time favorite place to stay!!! Excellent restaurants Plus the Harbor Walk with great choices for dining and entertainment also within walking distance. We always take our boat which we can leave in the water and dock there. Beautiful view of the Harbor with nice pool overlooking the Harbor!

We stayed at The Inn on Destin Harbor and had a great experience. We originally booked for just one night, but decided at the last moment to extend our stay. Unfortunately, most hotels nearby were fully booked, and we were having a hard time finding availability.

The front desk staff was extremely sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to assist us and managed to secure a room for that night. Because of her effort, we were able to enjoy one more beautiful day in Destin.

We really appreciated the hospitality and excellent customer service.

The location is also a big plus — most attractions, restaurants, and shops are either walkable or just 1–2 miles away, which made everything very convenient.

Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and a perfect location. Would definitely recommend!

Staff was fantastic. However, the halls and room reeked of marijuana. Paid $1000 for two nights to smell filth although hotel signs clearly indicate no smoking of cigarettes, vapes or marijuana on site.

The staff made this bearable.

Soap holder in bathroom taped to wall. Paint falling off ceiling. Balcony extremely nasty.

Bed was extremely comfortable and mini split kept room very cool and comfortable.

Limited parking

Location isn’t as convenient as it seems.

Pool is great.

Breakfast is nothing but cereal and danishes. Don’t get hopes up with free breakfast.

Would I stay here again….no. Was its a good stay, yes. But again, the staff was the best part.

I had arrived a few hours prior to check-in and thought I’d ask if it were possible to check in sooner even if for a fee, however, the clerk on shift at that time gave no room for conversation and had us wait to check in. Once we had a room and able to explore the property I noticed there was a lot of debris out by the shoreline of the building including an old, broken boat motor near the kayaks that are offered for guests to use. Another unusual thing I experienced was that this property DOES NOT offer housekeeping services and should you need more towels and ask the front desk you might overhear the staff member or two discussing how many you can receive. It’s not like I don’t put my pile of previously used towels outside of my room to be picked up and switched out. Continental breakfast is always a plus and one reason why I booked with this company, however, it’s very basic; Fairfield has a better selection, just saying. So because there is no housekeeping, your room floors may feel sandy for the 5 days you’re staying and your bed will not be refreshed but it’s not the worst I suppose. Affordable and simple.

Me and my granddaughter stayed June,2026. We had a harbor view. And it was really great. The room and the property were clean. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was good. I would stay here again. We felt safe at this hotel as well. It is a smaller hotel with 5 floors. We were close enough to everything we wanted to do as well. The Henderson Beach state park is very close by and is an awesome way to get to the beautiful Emerald beach.

Bathtub was flimsy, sink slow drain, no toilet paper holder, iron board broken, sliding door to balcony off rolkers and no outside handle to come back inside. Very unsafe, hall carpets dirty.

The hotel room was decent. I am glad I got the harbor veiw room. In the hallway for floor 3 the carpet needs shampooing. The ac unit blows non-stop. The compressor was on the balcony. The unit was old. The compressor kept tripping off. But maintenance came to fix. Friday was a live band at the pool. Saturday they played BINGO at the bar! Staff was cool. The bar drinks were awesome. Breakfast was grab and go. The water taxi pickups in the harbor at the hotel out back. The nearest beach access was at Henderson Beach State Park, which is 10 minutes down the road. This hotel is walking distance to Harbor Walk.

The picture does not accurately reflect the hotel.
The ice machine should be in a closed in room, not in the hall across from our room - we stayed two nights and both nights, someone decided to fill an ice chest between midnight and 2 in the morning.
The ceilings looked as if there was mold that had been painted over.
There were breakfast sandwiches for breakfast - but no instructions on how long to microwave them. Since I do not purchase these at home, it was a guessing game at how long to heat it.

Great location, the harbour views are way better than the other side. I phoned ahead to ask for and was promised an early check-in. On arrival at 3:10 pm we were told our room was not ready. Yet rooms were ready for customers who had booked directly. Seems Hotels.com customers were treated as second class. Our room was the lowest corner under the staircase, that obscured the harbour view. Request a high floor.

This property doesn't deliver towels to your room. You need to go to the front desk and retrieve them daily. If they say they can find them. Also they make you check out and in pool towels. This has never happened at any property we have stayed at. Cleanliness is poor at best. Handles on doors, pool access were actually black from not being cleaned. Carpets in hallways had blackened trails throughout. The paint on ceilings especially the bathroom was pealing from moisture damage. We would not recommend anything from this property except for the view.

Our stay at the Inn on Destin Harbor was wonderful. The harbor view from our room was absolutely amazing, and one of the highlights was being able to see dolphins and other marine life right from the room. It made the stay feel peaceful, relaxing, and memorable.

The location was also very convenient and close to many amenities, including restaurants, shops, entertainment, and local attractions. Everything we needed was nearby, which made it easy to enjoy Destin without having to travel far.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Inn on Destin Harbor to anyone looking for a beautiful view, a great location, and a relaxing getaway.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the best parts was being able to see fishes swimming clearly from our room and even dolphins playing in the ocean. It was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, the staff were friendly, and the overall stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves the ocean and nature!

Booked with The Inn because it offered a balcony view of the Harbor. We were early to check in, so we waited until our room was ready. During our wait, another couple checked in and I feel they were given our room. The room they gave us was a cement wall balcony, couldn’t see through it to enjoy the view of harbor. We were above the swimming pool with noisy kids. Also the shower curtain wouldn’t stay in place so water got all over the floor. No toilet paper in room-had to ask for some. Not impressed.

Check-in at Harbor Inn Destin was nice, and the view from the room was great, but unfortunately the overall stay was disappointing. The lobby is older and not as clean as it could be. There were broken tiles, and the elevator area was absolutely nasty and took forever to arrive. The floors throughout the hotel looked dirty as well.
The room itself had a major moisture issue. It was so humid that the floors and carpet felt sticky, there was condensation on the mirrors, and the room smelled very musty, almost like mold, even though we couldn’t actually see any mold.
The first night there was a dog barking in the stairwell most of the night, which made it hard to sleep. The second night was a little quieter, thankfully. The bathtub also would not drain properly and held water while showering. We called the front desk to report it, but no one ever came to fix it.
This property has potential because the location and views are beautiful, but they really need to update the rooms, improve cleanliness, fix the humidity issues, and respond better to guest complaints — especially barking dogs in the middle of the night.

Had a nice lounge area and outdoor seating. Complete with a limited bar and snacks for purchase (good for a quick late night sandwich). We did not use the pool, but we did see people in it.

The rooms were pleasant. We had a balcony with a harbor view, which made up for any shortcomings the hotel may have.

Location was fantastic.
Plenty to eat. Boardwalk was a 5-7 minute drive.
Large chains (Target/Publix/CVS) drive no more than 10 min.

We got here 20 min early, they said our room was not ready yet. Didnt get in until 3:30. The room was nice but the elevator or soming makes a lot of noise all night. We asked to move and they put us across from the other elevator on the same floor. The hotel is non smoking but our neighbors were smoking on the deck. The maintenance guy came over and told him its a 250 fee for smoking. So he put it out.
The parking fee is 15 on the website but was over 18.00 with fees. The General manager was very nice about it but a hummimg elevator is not somthing that will lull you to sleep.

The pros: great location, free parking. Room was clean. Great view of the bay. Thr bar sold drinks until 4 am everyday. Cons:The staff was not friendly or very helpful when it came to getting the ac to work. I requested additional towels and never received them. The breakfast was really grab and go. Jimmy dean breakfast sandwichs, a large variety. They had grits oatmeal packages, fruit and bagels. No insulation so u hear everything going on outside in the hallway. Overall i would stay again

The harbor view was so nice. It was great to sit out on the balcony in the morning or evening. The continental breakfast wasn’t that nice. We were fairly satisfied with our accommodations. I was a bit taken aback when we asked for fresh towels for only the second time in a week, and we were told to bring our used towels down to the front desk to exchange them. That didn’t feel accommodating AT ALL It was our only housekeeping ask the entire week. We even took our trash out ourselves and used plastic shopping sacks for our trash. I found that very strange to ask a guest to go traipsing through the hotel with dirty towels.

When we got in late after 9pm to shower, open the curtain to a dirty bath rag left hanging in the curtain folds. We could not find a light switch to the room only a lamp on the other side after treading through darkness and bathroom light. TV said no connection so we called and was told maintenance will come in the morning. They did not and we forgot so figured it out ourselves. Carpet in the hallways should be removed as they are dirty. Trash need to be picked up. Elevators are suspect so we only took the stairs. This place has so much potential. Beds were very comfortable, AC worked well and showers were nice and hot. Breakfast was nice. Walkable to the Harbor and nice view of Harbor from the balcony.

However, best views of the harbor and even caught a fireworks show from our balcony. Breakfast area and lobby was very nice and the staff was very friendly. TV was very difficult to use. Had to use 2 remotes and couldn't get them to work properly. Hallway floors/carpet were very dirty. Breakfast was subpar.

I loved the pleasant, welcoming attitude of staff members. My room was clean and walking the hallway was wonderful, fragrant experience. The view from my dockside, fifth floor was breath-taking. And I loved the many things to do: swimming, kayaking, water tours, etc. I shall visit this place again when in Destin.

The hotel was nice...Cons were: bfast didnt have proteins other than pork, patio door lock was loose, water takes a while to get hot in the morning. PROs: Wonderful inviting staff, room was very clean, sheets smelled really fresh, outside sitting area was really nice, nice size TV, most rooms have a patio, and walking distance from harborview walk

Room was clean enough. The staff could’ve definitely been friendlier. I didn’t care for the breakfast but it was adequate. I tried to buy some ice coffee in bottles that were for sale but they had all expired 3 months ago. I told the lady at the desk but they were still there the next day and never did get removed. It was very pet friendly. I’m not terribly picky about where I stay as long as it’s clean. The room was cleaner than the rest of the hotel. All-in-all it was adequate especially for the price.
