Room was very old + sheets were dinghy. Wanted a room change but the girl said they were full. Went to Walmart to buy sheets + pillows to put over the bed. The worse hotel we ever stayed in. We had the corner left room. It also had 3 beds, Whitehall was weird for two people. We would not recommend this hotel!

I'm reading the room at 2 star because although I booked a smoking room accidentally, didn't notice that when booking and I'm not a smoker, there were some damages to walls, lamps, and broken tile on the bathroom floor. Night service was very \"I don't care\" attitude. Day service was better and all the day staff were friendly.
As for the location, I booked only for a day, the beach was essentially across the street in the \"backyard\" of another hotel. If you ask nicely, they might let you walk around to the water. Also good fast food around.

Reservation was do a king room.
They put us in a two queen room.
Hair dryer did not work, went to front desk and was told they did not have a spare as they just replaced 6 already.
We had to purchase a hair dryer.
Other than those two issues, the rest of the stay was bearable.

Staff was unprofessional..Not 1 person smiled or welcomed us to the property..the night shift desk guy was asleep and never spoke a word to us..it looked as tho your staff was mad at the world..very unfriendly..they never even said thank you when we checked out..in fact they didnt even speak when we left...will never stay again and will make sure to spread this message to my friends and family.

The staff was friendly and helpful. And my room was very clean. The bed linens also looked new. However, the furnishings were in very sad condition. And the couch was very stained and in poor condition. There were also some broken tiles in my bathroom. And I have one other complaint. The pictures make it look like there is a breakfast area. There isn't. There is also NOT a restaurant on site. There is a Pizza Hut next door, though. Beach access is a short drive away despite the hotel being across the street from it. It's a fine hotel and appropriately priced for what it offers. But it needs an update and a partnership with one of the condos across the street to allow people beach access.

Online pics are deceiving!

PICS ARE DECEIVING! don't trust the online pics of this old, nasty hotel!! The only good thing about this hotel it is located off the main drag so everything is pretty much co-located and easy to get to. Me and my friends were only there one night so we tolerated the nasty room. The room was very outdated, very small... the bathroom sink is NOT in the bathroom, it is in the living area! There is a tub/shower and the toilet in the bathroom and it was nasty and old and the water pressure was terrible! We also found a lizard behind the toilet! Yes it's Florida, but at least check the room for rodents before renting it! They also don't offer a continental breakfast and their pool is very small and the area around the pool just looked cheap and dingy.... the room towels and wash clothes were also cheap, thin and old! Thank goodness we were only there one night which was tolerable but any longer than that and we would have checked out and found another hotel!

Do not stay here unless your getting it for $50.00

The microwave cabinet was broken, the bathroom sink faucet was completely loose, one light fixture cover fell on one of our heads, the other light fixture was full of dead bugs, the pool umbrella was completely tattered. I’m enclosing pictures and videos. Paid $160.00 a night and it was t even worth half of that. Hotels.com only talked to the hotel which refused to credit us anything.

The floors had not been cleaned. Had to change room cuz cigarette smoke gave me a headache. Refrigerator was leaking unto floor. And the coffee pot was also broken. The lady clerk was very nice. The bed was clean and very comfortable. The tv was great. Wish breakfast was included so I could have a cup of coffee.

The rooms smelled awful! Hair dryer did not work the outlet with it was ready to fall out of the wall. The room and bed in general just did not want to make you stay. The pool was cloudy. Read reviews after the fact none were good including many complaints of bed bugs. We immediately left I have been emailing the manager for 3 days for a refund has not answered me yet!! Next email/call will be to corporate!

The property is located in a Great area. The atmosphere is quiet. The staff was Pleasant. The property need to be renovated. The other Days Inn in the area are Much More Appealing. Stains of unknown origin were on the chairs, The furniture is Very Outdated & the upkeep of it has been neglected. Towels were not available @ night. I was given Colored towels that you would use at home. Last but Definitely Not Least...I Encountered ROACHES!!!! I was Very Disappointed. I'm not accustomed to the Days Inn Brand being of this Quality.

There was no WIFI which put a huge dent in our plans.
The gave us a password but didnt work, THEN wanted us to contact customer support.

Bathroom door would not stay closed or lock which made showering privacy difficult.

No breakfast offered. Nothing, zero, zilch.

Sheets were never changed or cleaned on our 5 day, 4 night stay.

Iron was missing from room,so clothes were wrinkled the entire trip.

Coffee machine only made 4oz cup of watered down cheap coffee. BRING YOUR OWN!
Staff was not helpful.

The property looked nothing like the pics offered up here.

Wished i would have spent more and got a condo.

The good: location, easy walk to beach.
A pizza hut, chick fil a, and waffle house only a short walk away.

We paid only a little over $100 per night in august.

For the price of this room, this room was horrible. Everything in it was old. From the mattress, to the refrigerator. The t.v screen was blue so you could barely see it. The floor was dirty and hair was everywhere. I chose this room based off the photos and clearly they added filters! This room was disgusting!! And not to mention this room had NO phone. This was the worst stay ever. I was told I couldn't be moved bc they were booked.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE... DONT STAY HERE

UPON CHECK IN THE SHEETS WERE FILTHY, WE WERE ADVISED THAT HOUSEKEEPING WAS OUT AND WE WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE DIRTY SHEETS OURSELVES. THE FLOORS WERE SO DIRTY WE HAD TO WALK ON OUR TOWELS AND SHEETS. THE POLICE WERE THERE EVERYDAY FOR DIFFERENT REASONS. NO BREAKFAST, NO INTERNET, AND THE TV HAD A LINE THROUGH IT. THE STAFF WERE NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. WE WERE GIVEN THE INTERNET PROVIDERS PHONE NUMBER TO CALL AND HAVE THEM TROUBLESHOOT THE INTERNET. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I COULD NOT SLEEP AT ALL. This property is diagusting. I had rented two rooms to fit my family asked for adjoining rooms or side by side. As other room had minors in it wasn’t given. Rooms are nasty sheets had not been changed sand and hair and stains on sheets, ceiling leaking water on bed and down wall, phones in room don’t work, half of the lights in room don’t work, floors are filthy I walked across floor bare foot and my feet were black. Tv remotes not work. Drunks sitting around on sidewalks outside rooms yelling and hollering. This place is ghetto.

We had a great time!

We booked this hotel for our first trip to Destin and it was perfect. It was close to everything, staff was beyond helpful and so nice, it was just what we needed for our quick family get away. We would stay here again. It’s a great place for a more reasonable priced place to stay.

My stay was great. But when ask for more covers at night they didn’t have none they didn’t ask if we need towels or if our trash needed to be gotten out. But for the price it was worth it. They did try to charge me 350 more then what I was told and said I should get it back in a few business days I said no and the beach is not walking distance might as well drive to the public park then walk

We had a great time. Welcomed with a smiling face. Only issue really was the coffee was out one of the nights. And the front desk girl that night was not interested in helping me. She stayed on her cell phone. I was able to turn the coffee maker back on. She stated it’s always turned off. It was on the other nights. I added a pictures.

The room was absolutely filthy it reeked of smoke and what seemed like body odor. Before taking a shower I put a full size bath towel down on the shower floor when I came out I used it to shuffle my way across the floor to the bed so I could sit on the bed without touching the floor the bottom of the towel where my feet were was black the place was absolutely disgusting molding coming off of the wall holes behind the door where the door knob had been covered by a piece of wood that been painted over rust coming from the shower head only half of the nozzles actually working the place was absolutely disgusting.

Don’t recommend, over priced for the room. Room was dirty, drinks left in the refrigerator, clear debris on the floor. Needed somewhere to stay and there was no refunds. Pictures was nothing like the actual room. Tv didn’t work, iron was broken and covered in rust. Towels were stained. There was an opening between the door and floor.

We were excited for the extra space… but that quickly fell flat. The room was filthy- sand on the headboards, dirty floors and baseboards, grime and dust (obviously not cleaned) piles of dust under edges of beds/corners, items left by travelers under beds, fridge had hairs inside on the shelves, toilet lid was cracked and propped on top, lighting bathroom didn’t work…found bugs in the closet.

I went with my daughter for mom, daughter vacation, and we had the best time. Beautiful water, lot of things to do.
The hotel was great. The ice machine didn't work, but I that's fine with us. It was clean, comfortable, and the management was really nice

The service was very friendly and profession! I was impressed by the front office staff. The accommodations were adequate. The conditions were poor (sink faucet was completely loose, paint job rough, and everything pretty old)…but we slept and were safe. It did the job.

Zoey at the front desk is a very kind and attentive and sweet lady. The only thing I was disappointed about is that there was no stopper for the bath tub. I wasn’t able to take a bath.
