Great stay!
Rance
Perfect for the price. Cute, clean rooms. I could have used a quick update about using and emptying the humidifier, but it worked out. Easy walking access to the boardwalk, restaurants and music venues. I'd book again!
Kristina
We always stay at Village Inn Destin. It's our favorite spot.
Kelli
This Staff defines southern hospitality; we had several unforeseeable events on this trip. This Staff went above and beyond to help us out, even going so far as to give us a ride to the baseball tournament my son would have missed playing. The rooms are perfect for a beach goers retreat or busy family; they are walking distance from the Harborwalk and the best restaurants. Room service leaves you alone but brings fresh towels every day. The pool was the perfect temp and never to crowded. We will be back because The Village Inn has everything you need at an affordable cost, leaving funds to enjoy all Destin has to offer.
Summer
Everything was nice , the staff, pool, location but we stayed a full week and the floors were dirty when we got there and they never mopped them the whole week we were there, I think they may have sweep them once,we had to wear our shoes in the rooms and wash our feet before we got in bed and some of the outlets need replaced , our chargers kept falling out, but still good people and location
Yosmaira
Justin
The staff are so friendly! The room was big! Literally could fit a queen air mattress in there along with the two beds. The breakfast was GREAT! The room is a bit run down looking, but the beds were great and comfy and even had a warm blanket that you dont even seen in higher end hotels. Definitely would stay here again. Location was also great! Definitely in the mix of good restaurants and bars!
Dana
Unit was clean, close to area attraction, staff extremely nice and helpful.

The room was exactly what we needed for our stay. My son absolutely loved the breakfast every morning. The pool was very clean and we while we were out there everyone was very nice and friendly, plenty of towels for everyone. I will highly recommend this place!
Quaneka
The room was very spacious. The beds were huge! I was really surprised at how clean and well put this motel was especially for the price that we paid. The staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast? Omg! They serves biscuits and gravy with sausage patties!!! 10/10!!!! If you’re interested in booking & kinda hesitant, this is your sign to BOOK THE ROOM! Don’t wait just book! Promise you won’t be disappointed
Sandra
The room could have been more clean. There was a bad smell in the room.
antonella
no ice machine working , dirty floor all over the building.
Maribel
Great staff; even though they were extremely busy they were welcoming and composed.
Only downside is the beds being a bit on the stiff side for my liking but we only stayed for 1 night so it was ok.

Clean room, staff was very nice
Joshua
Property was great. The location was perfect, walking distance to the warf and restaurants. The hotel does have an ice machine on site to fill up coolers. Staff was friendly and took care of rooms well. Parking is a little tight but that also might be, because I have a bigger truck, so standard cars and trucks should be fine. The big plus for me was that they have a $20 early check in fee. Which for me, that worked out great. I got to get in 4hours earlier and get all settled in. I would recommend this location and would stay again
Patricia
5 estrellas ala recepciónista del turno nocturno una actitud positiva y muy amable con los latinos, sin embargo hubo mucho fumador en la piscina donde es área donde se encuentran niños jugando de ahí todo agradable
Iban
The hotel is in a great location. It’s at walking distance from eateries. Right behind the hotel to the right on the alley way is a great Mexican little trailer truck/restaurant. In the front of the hotel is a great chicken eatery, and across the street there is restaurants and the harbor walk. Night life there is great! Now to the rooms.. The beds are comfortable, clean, and spacious. You can’t beat the price for a good clean room. The pool area is great and the best part is that it’s next to the ice machine, washers & dryer, and vending machine. I definitely would stay there again.
Cheryl
This is a budget option near the Destin Harborwalk.
Stephanie
Overall, this place was pretty good. It included breakfast and we were all able to find something we liked. The people at the front desk were nice. The pool was clean and towels were even provided if you didn’t have your own. We stayed 5 days and our room had clean towels provided each day. The bedding was only changed twice, which is kind of rough given you’re going to the beach and everything gets sandy. I don’t think the bathroom was cleaned while we were there, but I can’t be sure. The last day we stayed I had to ask for an extra roll of toilet paper, so it makes me think no one even went in there. Positive experience overall though.
Darrell
Our cleaning lady was awesome and very helpful

Great price and by the beach. Clean rooms but no attendance. We stayed for 3 days and they never cleaned room while gone but maybe its upon request only? pool was great and vending machines nearby. our icemachine was always out but that had another one at another building we used. tv is very small but work. comfy beds and clean shower. toilet is very short but worked great as we have a 4 year old. Weve stayed here twice and will be back. Coffee is good! Lady at front was super sweet.
Katherine
The room was clean and within walking distance of the shops and beach. It was a great place to stay with a nice warm breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Marvin
We stayed there on June 9 2026 for 3 days the room was clean and the staff was very helpful and nice
Kim
Absolutely loved Millisa. Every question she had a very polite answer for. My only issue is really the towels. The cleaners never put enough towels in the room for 3 of us. I had to consistently go to the front for towels.
Akbar
Good Hotel. Will Stay again.
Amy
My stay at the Village Inn was great! The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful & friendly whenever I had any questions. They also allowed me to check in a couple hours early which was amazing.
I don't like to complain so I didn't say anything but the floor in our room was incredibly dirty. I don't believe it had been cleaned in awhile. I spilled a little water from my cooler & when I wiped it up, the towel was completely black. I just made sure to wear flip flops when showering & walking in the room at all times. The bed was clean & incredibly comfortable & that was the most important thing to me!
The bathroom also had a very strong stench of urine. Again, I suspect this was from failure to clean the floor (possibly from someones pet).
The breakfast & coffee was spectacular! A huge bonus while on vacation! We took full advantage of getting coffee every morning along with breakfast before heading out for the day.
I would stay here again next year & I would highly recommend it to others. My only complaint was the cleaning crew put a little more effort into the rooms. As it felt like the bed was freshly made & clean towels were put in there & that was about it.

Generally, it was ok, the only thing was that we found a roach in the room, we supposed that the next day would be cleaning, but it never happened!!

Excellent stay
Tai
Clean room, breakfast is good.
Jason
The room was very clean and beautiful location . Great service
Roger
One night stand bulb not working, one bottle of the shampoo is used
Rosimari
I liked everything except the door of the room getting jammed when opening and closing.
Frank
Nice little hotel. Convenient location. Clean. The only issue was my fault in that we accidentally picked a smoking room not realizing that was still a thing. The smell was fairly strong in the room even though it was clean. Sadly, there was no maintenance on staff to assist.
The solution was to simply buy some Febreze and spray it to kill the odor. It worked quite well and within 15 minutes or so the smell had more or less dissipated. This led us to think, perhaps that can be part of the cleaning process. Yes it is a smoking room but it is not necessary to be blasted by it when you first open the door. In the morning, that smell was gone. The power of Febreze has a new level of respect from us!
To be clear, the sheet and pillows and hard surfaces didn't have the sent. It was mainly the curtains, soft chair and a little on the headboards and bathroom walls which we thought was odd.
The place as a whole is lovely and an ideal spot if visiting Destin on a quick trip or a budget. Would stay there again. Just make sure you pick the right room and if you end up with smoking and don't smoke, bring Febreze just in case!

Yes breakfast was good

Some part of the building weren't 100% working. Things like the ice machine in the main building. It was all very minor. The room was clean and comfortable and the A/C was both cold and QUIET.
Gayle R
Very comfortable and clean room for 2 adults and 2 kids in double queen room with microwave and small fridge. Nice pool, parking and laundry facilities. Staff, including maintenance was excellent. Breakfast was ok, but limited seating. Location with crosswalk to Harbor Walk and affordable rates were fantastic. Would not hesitate to stay there again!
Tammy
The toilets were super short. And although the beds were very comfortable they were super high. (Had to take a running start to get up on them..lol.. js)... But the room was clean and quiet and the AC was cold.... Staff was nice. Location was convenient, Pool was nice and clean. All in all it really ok....

ok
William
Friendly staff, comfortable location and central. Bed was so comfy I stayed in more than I had anticipated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Room was clean, there was some noise from the neighbors, but was negligible and they didn't party through the night. Had a great stay. Room was clean. Would definitely stay again and again.

Rooms were clean, peaceful stay and Melissa was absolutely wonderful 😊 definitely recommend talking to her when your down on vacation!!
Sam
Good location. Landscaping was beautiful. Breakfast was average with only bananas for a gluten-free option. Room needed updated and was very humid and moist. Floor was moist and sand/dirt stuck to our feet constantly. Bed was very high but comfortable. Toilet handle had to be held down to flush properly and water presser was low. Pool appeared to be clean with a nice seating area.
Lauren
Property well kept staff helpful our stay was pleasant and peaceful compared to many. Definitely recommend to future travelers.
Ashley
They’re really nice, the pool was great. My kid had so much fun!

The evening front desk clerk was awesome and the pool area was perfect.
Gabriela
Love how they let us stay in the pool late hours and friendly staff
Sharon
The room the doors didn’t want to close right. The people were real nice.
Rachel
The rooms were clean. Quiet area and very close to amenities and the beach.
Kathy
The room was pretty clean but the floors needed attention. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of nice clean laundry
April
It was more convenient than anything, its close to a lot. Definitely not 3 mins walk to boardwalk or beach that was a lie. We somehow ended up with a smoking room for 1 room and it smelled horrible not enough air freshener would get that smell out, but we only slept and showered for the last minute booking. Breakfast was also ok, staff was nice though.
Brandyn
Perfect area and the staff was very nice! The room was a great size and the mattress was real soft to sleep on! Less than a mile from the beach so was a nice drive or walk!

Nice and good location. Friendly staff
Madison
The staff are always friendly here- the morning gentleman even let me in early and brought out bagels from the back because my fiancé and I had to hit the road for the airport before breakfast was open- SO kind! Always clean. My fiancé has major allergies and he did just fine, the hardwood floors help with that. I’ve stayed here twice, and this is officially my Destin hotel- I’ll stay here every time I visit.
Terrence
The staff were very kind and helpful. I had an issue with the room and they made it right . The buildings are older and need some attention . The breakfast was good.
Merle

Amazing experience at Village Inn Destin. The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, always helpful and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh options every morning. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding — everything was spotless and very well maintained. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything and perfect for enjoying Destin comfortably. On top of that, the nightly rates are very reasonable considering the comfort and prime location. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
Tatiana
menu for breakfast very poor. did not take it.
Mary Kay

Room was clean, the lady at the front desk was very nice. The parrot saying Hello was the best part of it all! Down the street from the boardwalk.

Just like an older motel. Nothing fancy but provided what we needed
Deborah
The bed was comfortable and room was clean. Housekeeping came to clean daily and bring clean towels. The room smelled good when we entered the room. While we were in our room in the evening we noticed when we went inside the bathroom we could smell cigarette smoke in the bathroom. We put the exhaust fan on to get rid of the smell. We requested a non- smoking room when booking the reservation since we are not smokers. The breakfast was disappointing because there was not much to choose from. We enjoyed our first vista to Destin. It was a great location close to restaurants, beaches, harbor, and stores, etc.
Cristina
Our room was clean. Staff friendly. Close to the harbor walk and can walk to nearby restaurants. Would stay again
Melissa

There was a hair in the sink, a hair in the shower, a hair on the bed. Just not a nice place.
Khloe
It was a clean, nice place to stay on a budget!
Shannon
Village Inn is affordable, the breakfast declined but Melissa who works the front desk is absolutely amazing. She is so kind and helpful. She always tries to make your stay more comfortable. Thank you Melissa for being so sweet and caring. Oh and patient lol

I was iffy about staying here because the price was so reasonable. All the staff was super nice. Pool was clean. Rooms were clean. And the location is exactly where you want to be. I’ll definitely stay again

Breakfast was way better than I expected, and they kept it out a little past 9 for late risers.
Clean, convenient location, could walk to the boardwalk across the street and a five minute drive to Okaloosa Island beaches. We will definitely be staying here again, excellent value for what you get

During our five night stay in late April/early May, we had the following experience:
GOOD:
- Value for the nightly rate
- Beds were comfortable EXCEPT one side was severely indented from heavy use. Other queen bed in room was fine.
- Daily housekeeping was unexpected but appreciated.
- Friendly, welcoming, and responsive staff
- Quiet nights (except for occasional emergency vehicles passing by)
- Room was free of bugs and visible debris from past guests like hairs, nail clippings, and fingerprints.
- Free breakfast in lobby looked appetizing with good variety of fresh and packaged good.
- Easy, walkable access to plenty of shops and restaurants along the boardwalk. Many other options were just a 5 to 20 minute drive away.
BAD
- Floors didn't seem to have been mopped in a long time. We spilled some water on the floor and wiped up with a wash cloth that came up black and soiled.
-Large gap below the entry door had to be covered with towels to keep room climate comfortable.
OPPORTUNITIES:
- Shower water handle was difficult to turn and tub faucet was very loose. Both were still functional.
- A dedicated water refill station would be great for larger water bottles but spout at juice machine was sufficient.
- No safe in room was a disappointment but we managed fine. No issues with anything going missing.
BOTTOM LINE: All things considered, we would stay here again without a second thought if the nightly rate was similar. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant stay!

Rooms are always clean and very helpful staff.

Room was older but clean. The pool was nice, all staff was friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast in the morning was pretty good! You can’t beat the location for shopping and restaurants. The outside of the hotel rooms could use some sprucing up, but otherwise perfect little spot for a short trip.
