The room was nice as expected. However, what was weird was the room was specially designed for a handicapped person and segregated from all of the other rooms on the first floor next to stairs and an outside door. This room seemed to be absent of all the normal noise dampeners that one would come to expect from regular stays at Days Inn facilities. This room was the opposite. Like it amplimified all the noise from the street, the stairway, the outside door, the room door, etc. It got so bad that I asked the desk clerk if they had any earplugs to help block the noise. She said, \"No.\". I had a horrible night's sleep and instead of enjoying the day in Kenosha, I just drove home.

Building is run down , everytime someon walks on the second floor above it is very loud . Everytime someone goes out the door it slams and makes a loud noise, which is like every 20 minutes .
The ice machine is leaking water all over the carpet floor in the hall and is squishy with water soaked carpet.
Definately not a good nights rest , with all of the noise , I'd rather stay somewhere more quiet and where the property is better upkept.

I only gave it two stars because I liked the lady at the front desk. She's a younger girl with glasses. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. For starters, the first room we were put in which was 141 reeks so bad of cat pee that my eyes were watering. She changed us to a new room that smelled good but the TV, hairdryer and room phone didn't work. The tv didn't even have a cord. The walls are so paper thin, if you turn the fan on, the walls just might blow the hell away. I felt so robbed not having 3-D glasses for this surround sound theatric experience. This would be of arguing people. Doors slamming People walking around upstairs as if they just bought concrete shoes. Than stomped. All night longggggggg...but hey it's a hotel. So I have some understanding. However.....
That cat pee room though needs to be stripped and redone or put up some biohazard tape. I'm not playing. It's bad.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Fridge was either too warm or freezing the food. Forgot to tell them. For the first 2 nights I just had the sheet and the top sheet but when I asked they gave me a comforter. Coffee was terrible. Hot breakfast was good but the same every day. Appreciated actual potatoes.

Do not recommend. People vaping openly in lobby/breakfast area. Dirty rooms (hair, stains on walls, stains on bedding), broken flooring, terrible beds, and noisy heaters/ac. Staff are used to it and accept the condition.

Found an old used soap in the bathroom on the top of the bathtub, and the bathtub was not that clean

I stayed 4 days and never had the room maintained or supplies replenished. The sink ran slow, there was black mold above eyesight left of the shower head in the corner, the toilet wabbled on the floor and the usb plugs next to the bed didn’t work. First, there is no elevator here. There are people who really need to know this.

I like to start with the positive. There is this amazing mirror in the room. I took a pic, but don't think I can post pics in this review. It really is lovely. Also, it was pretty cold that weekend, and the heat in the room was great. The bed was comfortable.

It smells as soon as you enter, some combo of cigarettes and pets. Same upstairs.

The coffee in the room was a bust. The only thing there was decaf. I asked the housekeeper if I could get regular, and she could not find any. Fine, I tried to make the decaf. The little pod thing does not fit in there. It fell out and hot water went everywhere.

There were cigarette marks on the shower and toilet lid. The worst part was that the toilet rocked. Someone put a piece of cardboard in the back/bottom (see pic), but it did not help. And it was a new toilet, there were still stickers on it. But they did not install it correctly.

The room had multiple hand towels, but only one face washcloth. I called the desk and asked if I could get more face clothes. She volunteered to bring some up. What she brought up were hand towels, she said this was all they had. I thanked her and told her I didn’t need them.

The floors were really busted up, uneven, kinda dirty. They were a really pretty color, but installed horribly. A missed opportunity.

I am giving two stars for the bed, and because the young woman brought up hand towels at 2am.

The breakfast could be managed better. Quality was not good with foreign material in imitation watered down scrambled eggs, cold sausages not microwaved warmed enough. Half of the times things are out. The room itself was nice and comfortable. Some of the people staying there look like they came out of a halfway house with the linger of weed in the hallway.

First I was given a card for a room that was already occupied. The room I got was fine--clean and large, but the bathtub wasn't really safe--it only had a couple of strips to keep you from falling down in the slippery tub. Although the room was clean, the carpeting on the stairs was filthy, and the garbage that was piled up in the outside receptace was there the next day. The other issue was the lack of care for the breakfast area. Sparse selection, no napkins available, no decaf coffee.

I wasn't horrible, but I won't stay there again.

Staff did not greet us upon arrival. Our room key was given to us, but when we went to the room the staff was still cleaning it. We let them finish and said to take their time. We came back after the cleaning was done to sticky floors and sticky dresser in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the rest of the room was clean. A little smoke smell in the room, but not too bad. The room had a desk with no chair.

Our room was not as clean as it should have been. The floor by one of the beds had something on it that looked like a spill had dried and the table between the beds and alarm were visibly dirty. I washed it all with soap and a wash cloth. The window was horribly dirty. The beds were fine though so for what we paid I guess that’s all we get. The room smelled weird, it wasn’t so bad that I couldn’t sleep though. Also I don’t think the hotel has an elevator, I couldn’t find one so we used the stairs.

Checkin was great, very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. Parking lot was very crowded and looked like it needed repaving. Everything but the breakfast was great. Chose this property over others because it has free hot breakfast. I was getting married the next day and didn't want an empty stomach all day. The eggs were swimming in water, so everyone was making waffles, but both syrup bottles were empty. Nobody around to refill. Of the 4 juice options, there was only apple juice and water. Would have been a 5 star if they didn't cheap out on the breakfast.

I didn't like that there were almost homeless people staying with two dogs barking and milling around property. They said they have been staying there for two years. I didn't feel that safe going outside. I even encountered a big pitbull coming down the hallway. Staff was friendly and acommodating . The floors were sticky . I think they should be washed before a renter goes in to stay.

It was difficult to close the room door. It was _impossible_ to close the bathroom door: it was bigger than the jamb that it was supposed to fit into.
In the sink area, the screw that held the coffee-maker's electrical cord in place in the outlet box overlapped the light switch so that it was difficult to flip the light switch.
The breakfast was okay, but it was unfortunate that orange juice was unavailable all weekend.
On the plus side: the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there were enough electrical outlets in the room, and the parking lot was well-maintained.

The floor in the room was dirty upon arrival, the paint on the walls was peeling, the drain in the shower didn't drain properly, resulting in overflowing onto the bathroom floor, the microwave shorted out while using it and was sparking inside of it while in use, resulting in me having to use the microwave in the lobby, the AC unit was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable; had stiff springs and no cushion to it. Was not pleased with the stay and will not be returning.

Poor quality and broken equipment.

There was no climate control in the room. Neither the air conditioner nor the wall thermostat worked at all. Both were completely deaf and never turned on so the room was hot and stuffy the whole night. The toilet seat was loose and there was basically no sound proofing. You could clearly hear anyone is the hall as well as people in other rooms. We got in late and didn't have the energy to try and get a new room.

Over all fine. Not awful for the price, but our TV didn't work, there was also crayon or something all over the screen. Stains on the light fixtures (also crayon or something red?), and sticky residue on the counters/crumbs on the floor when we arrived. Bedding was clean. Cups and TP weren't completely stocked either. No elevator so if you have a lot of luggage be wary that you'll have to carry it upstairs.

We felt this hotel was extremely overpriced for the quality of the property. Our TV didn’t work, so I went to the lobby to tell them. The young girl asked what kind of TV we had in our room. Of course, I didn’t know and was wondering why she didn’t know. She sent me back to the room to find out, instructing me to call her by dialing 0 on the phone in the room. Turns out, there is no phone in the room. Again, strange that she does not know this. I went back to the lobby and the girl followed me back to my room with a TV remote. She used it to reset our TV, but then took it with her, leaving us with the cheap universal that was basically useless.

In addition to that incident, the hotel and room had an odd oder; the wood flooring, bathroom ceiling, and tile was in bad shape; and at breakfast everything was empty.?
