There are no elevators and we had 2 large bags we had to carry upstairs. But the staff was helpful to help us carry oir bags. The location was convenient to the highway and a Walgreens and gas station

Checked in late (2am). Was fast, not friendly or rude, just meh. No explanation of amenities, just room number. Bathroom had hair on the walls and there were stains on the bed. One side of the nightstand was plugged in and couldn’t even reach a plug. It had a USB port that was rendered useless. Cleaning service used some sort of wax or cleaner on the wood (linoleum) that made the whole room slick, like it had a film on it. Made it super slick when getting into the shower where I almost did the splits. Breakfast was super basic, what was left. One waffle maker was broken. I was eating when the attendant come through and shut everything off. Didn’t ask if I needed anything before she turned off the machines or put anything away, not even eye contact or any sort of acknowledgment and I was clearly visible and still eating. Cut breakfast short and went to use the lobby bathroom, almost choked. It was not kept well. Overall, property has seen better days on the exterior, the room was fine aside from the items I mentioned, staff not friendly at all, and attention is needed on the small things. Good for a place passing though and nothing else.

Read reviews prior to booking and did not notice any issues. We had two young children (under 2 yrs) with us. Originally going to put us on the 2nd floor but no elevator - not feasible. They found us a first floor room that worked. Initially it looked fine - no issues, clean, quiet, etc. First night was fine other than daughter went out for a smoke before bed and noticed some lady creeping around the corner watching her. Second day - walked out and a couple were having an argument in the parking lot - looked like an employee and their significant other - right outside the main doors. Returned to hotel that night about 9:30pm and there were parties going on in several rooms with doors open and loud music. Also side doors to building were propped open so any one without a card could walk in. Multiple people out smoking weed outside our windows walking up and down. They didn’t appear to be guests because they got in cars to leave after a bit. Did not feel safe to have children under 2 in this area. Again - I’m very familiar with Kenosha/Racine area as I grew up just west of here and my immediate family all live within 30 minutes. Will not stay here again - don’t bring children here!

i personally wish there were better and more channels on the television. I also think the vending machines could be a bit cheaper. i also wish the rooms service menu was vetter because i tried to order and it was forcing me to use cashapp to purchase things and also said it would take 2 days for the food to arrive for some reason. but aside from that, the room was nice and clean and i had a good stay!

Stairs and hallways looked like they had not been vacuumed in a long time. Chair and ottoman in our room had lots of stains on them. Air conditioner very loud. Smoke alarm didn’t have a battery and we talked to the staff twice about it. Nothing done. Will definitely not book there again

-During mid breakfast there was zero hot food left and zero waffle batter. Staff was made aware and still did not refill the hot food.
-The common areas all smelled like sweaty shoes.
-The room itself was in ok shape
-The air conditioner fan made a god awful noise all night.
-front desk staff was out smoking as we walked by her to enter the hotel for check in and left us standing there waiting to check in.

Definitely spend a little more to stay somewhere else. Luckily we only needed the room to sleep in for one night or I would have found somewhere else to stay. The hotel doesn't have an elevator so you will have to take multiple trips up and down if you have multiple/heavy bags. The floors looked like they hadn't been swept in awhile and appeared to be blood on the floor. The shower has mold in it and you only get 2 bath towels so nothing to use as a mat or wash cloths are available. There aren't any sample toiletries so don't forget anything or you have to go buy new (luckily the location is close to a lot of shopping options). The sink didn't drain and the AC makes loud popping noises the entire time it is running. The walls are paper thin so everything going on around you sounds like it is happening in your room. The refrigerator/freezer is beyond disgusting. They keep them turned off so good luck trying to get it cool enough to use for awhile. The freezer smelled atrocious and had mold all over. If you say anything to staff about issues they just kind of shrug and say \"okay\". I don't recommend and definitely won't stay again if I am ever in the area.

The property is old and I understand wear and tear. My proplem was I paid in advance at Hotels.com. When I checked out I was told to just leave my keys on counter. When I reviewed the bill in email , I noticed that the credit card I supplied at check-in was billed for $5 and $7.50. I stayed in a deluxe room as specified on my purchase. Can somebody review this hotels process for unauthorized charges.

The hotel was ok. Most of the doors were propped open from hotel guests and the whole stairwell smelled like cigarettes. The room was ok. Floor had some bubble ups on certain spots and the toilet moved when you used it like it was loose from the ground. Overall it was ok for the price.

It was ok for a pet friendly inexpensive hotel. Just off the expressway, only 7 miles from the lake and downtown Kenosha, lots to do in the area. The hotel is basic, dated but mostly clean and quiet. I didn't eat the breakfast.

The room was ok. The window was broken and didn’t close all the way. When folks smoked outside, the smell came right into our room. The floors are wooden and I could tell they’re not mopped too often. There were Doritos chips on the floor from the previous guests. Would I stay again? Only if I had a premium room on a different side and arrived early enough to get help if I needed it.

I booked a room for 2 people, when arrived the room they gave me looked like it had a queen size frame and put what looked like something smaller than a full size mattress. The frame was stick8ng out on both sides by quite a few inches. For $120.00 it was crazy!

Through no fault of the cleaning team, the room smelled like dog pee and there was dog poop in the entrance. This is on the owner(s) that were provided the benefit of a pet-friendly hotel. Upon arrival, a staff member was smoking right outside the entrance and that smell was wafting into the check-in area. And the guy that checked us in that evening said MAYBE three words to me. I don’t know…I did not expect luxury but I don’t think the 8.4 out of 10 on Expedia reflects how non-luxury it really is. Positive: it’s close to everything!

Unfortunately I can not leave a good review for this hotel.. although the staff were excellent, the conditions of the hotel were terrible. The hallways smelled horrible and were not clean.
Our room was disgusting the floors and bathroom… I had to ask the staff for a broom and mop and after having to wash the mop like 10 times I was able to use it. Once I started cleaning the hotel room floor I had to change the water like 3 times because it was that dirty... Breakfast was not that great and the breakfast area was also very dirty, staff mentioned it’s because they won’t hire enough personnel so front desk has to also focus on the breakfast area. I was very disappointed in my stay next time I visit Kenosha I will make sure not to stay here again.

This hotel is basic but clean. Rooms are spacious but not many amenities. Location is great, right off the freeway and shopping with a Starbucks across the street. Breakfast was adequate. There was a bad smell in the hallway but it was not in our room. Thankfully we are able to do steps because the elevator was either broken or non existent and we were given a second floor room. Good deal for the price but I wouldn’t stay more than one night.

We asked for a disabled room and we’re given one full-size bed for two people. We were switched to another room with two beds however, the toilet would not flush. The breakfast was very minimal and there were loud partiers outside of our window at 2 AM one of the worst stays we’ve ever had in a hotel.

Breakfast and staff were great. We had hair that was not ours in the bathroom and only one washcloth for 2 of us. When I spoke with the front desk they were very accomdating and refunded us some of our cost. It should also be noted that there is no elevator in this hotel.

What made it terrible? The metal frame the mattress is sitting on? Or the two inch gap at the top of the crookedly hung door? Or maybe the cracked window and broken screen from the outside? Ooorrrrr the truck driver in the parking lot who stood outside waiting for the pizza delivery guy to bring him his dinner?? Yeah. We’re not staying here again. Neither my daughter or I felt safe. We left the room empty and booked a different property in town. Of course we can’t get it refunded but our safety and peace of mind was far better elsewhere

The gentleman at the desk was very pleasant and accomodating when I realized our second floor room wasn't going to work for me. He had a first floor room available, but he cautioned me that it was typically used for guests with pets and I might not like it. He gave me a key for the first floor room and allowed us to check it out before doing a room switch in case it wasn't acceptable. His attitude was friendly and not at all bothered by my need to have a different room. Much appreciated! (The first floor room was perfect, by the way, so we switched.)

This hotel was not for me! Solo female traveling for work. My first impression was not good. Waiting to be helped a drug and/or alcohol intoxicated gentleman walked in. I then saw him and another guest do an echange. I paid non refundable so still stayed. Hallways smell like smoke, a couple lights flashing, guest's garbage outside doors. Clean sheets and a warm shower. My TV was partially broken, but i didn't want to try to move rooms so just stayed in my room. Very noisy, can hear everything in the hallway and through the walls, doors need to be slammed to shut. Parking lot is well lit and many cameras on site,unsure if they work though. Later heard from coworkers that this is the local drug deal hotel.

The room was nice as expected. However, what was weird was the room was specially designed for a handicapped person and segregated from all of the other rooms on the first floor next to stairs and an outside door. This room seemed to be absent of all the normal noise dampeners that one would come to expect from regular stays at Days Inn facilities. This room was the opposite. Like it amplimified all the noise from the street, the stairway, the outside door, the room door, etc. It got so bad that I asked the desk clerk if they had any earplugs to help block the noise. She said, \"No.\". I had a horrible night's sleep and instead of enjoying the day in Kenosha, I just drove home.

Building is run down , everytime someon walks on the second floor above it is very loud . Everytime someone goes out the door it slams and makes a loud noise, which is like every 20 minutes .
The ice machine is leaking water all over the carpet floor in the hall and is squishy with water soaked carpet.
Definately not a good nights rest , with all of the noise , I'd rather stay somewhere more quiet and where the property is better upkept.

I only gave it two stars because I liked the lady at the front desk. She's a younger girl with glasses. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. For starters, the first room we were put in which was 141 reeks so bad of cat pee that my eyes were watering. She changed us to a new room that smelled good but the TV, hairdryer and room phone didn't work. The tv didn't even have a cord. The walls are so paper thin, if you turn the fan on, the walls just might blow the hell away. I felt so robbed not having 3-D glasses for this surround sound theatric experience. This would be of arguing people. Doors slamming People walking around upstairs as if they just bought concrete shoes. Than stomped. All night longggggggg...but hey it's a hotel. So I have some understanding. However.....
That cat pee room though needs to be stripped and redone or put up some biohazard tape. I'm not playing. It's bad.

For the first 2 nights I just had the sheet and the top sheet but when I asked they gave me a comforter. Coffee was terrible. Hot breakfast was good but the same every day. Found an old used soap in the bathroom on the top of the bathtub, and the bathtub was not that clean

The sink ran slow, there was black mold above eyesight left of the shower head in the corner, the toilet wabbled on the floor and the usb plugs next to the bed didn’t work. First, there is no elevator here. There are people who really need to know this.

I like to start with the positive. There is this amazing mirror in the room. I took a pic, but don't think I can post pics in this review. It really is lovely. Also, it was pretty cold that weekend, and the heat in the room was great. The bed was comfortable.

It smells as soon as you enter, some combo of cigarettes and pets. Same upstairs.

The coffee in the room was a bust. The only thing there was decaf. I asked the housekeeper if I could get regular, and she could not find any. Fine, I tried to make the decaf. The little pod thing does not fit in there. It fell out and hot water went everywhere.

There were cigarette marks on the shower and toilet lid. The worst part was that the toilet rocked. Someone put a piece of cardboard in the back/bottom (see pic), but it did not help. And it was a new toilet, there were still stickers on it. But they did not install it correctly.

The room had multiple hand towels, but only one face washcloth. I called the desk and asked if I could get more face clothes. She volunteered to bring some up. What she brought up were hand towels, she said this was all they had. I thanked her and told her I didn’t need them.

The floors were really busted up, uneven, kinda dirty. They were a really pretty color, but installed horribly. A missed opportunity.

I am giving two stars for the bed, and because the young woman brought up hand towels at 2am.
