The tv was ancient. it wasn't a smart tv, it was like one of those flat screen 720p TVs with an antenna xD! For the price, idk. Plus the breakfast sucks ! This hotel is over priced. No hand soap, and the shampoo was out.

Overall the hotel was fine. The building was kinda cool and I really liked the lobby decor - kind of a sophisticated mad hatter furniture vibe. They seemed to have trouble communicating though. They have a notice in the room that if you would like the room serviced you need to tell the front desk, either a full cleaning or a \"refresh\" which brings in fresh towels and toilet paper etc. We asked for a refresh after the 2nd night, when we left in the morning and were told it \"might be too late\", needless to say it did not happen. Asked to be schedule for the refresh the next day and again, it didn't happen. We happened to run into the employee who was cleaning and asked her when she would be in our room so we would not be there in her way - not on the schedule. I'll give her credit though - she made it happen and did more than we asked for. Anyway, I booked a room for myself and husband and then added a second room for my son and his gf and they also asked for and did not get the refresh service. (add in that there was a used washcloth lingering under the bathroom cabinet when we checked in and we would probably make a different choice next time)

The only that was a problem for me was there was no coffee or tea amenties before 7:00 am, but the young man at the front desk on 02/08 went and took care of us. Very impressed!

We stay her quite a bit - they really need to up the housekeeping and room inspection. We had to be moved as soon as we got there because the heat was not working. The second room we were put in had no blow dryer - we found it eventually in the closet. There was no options for alcohol and only one pod for the coffee maker. The doors on the shower dont work so the door leaks all over the floor. It doesnt look like they have cleaned the windows or sills in quite some time. It is a nice hotel they just need to clean it better.

The entire hotel is beautiful. Special and upscale but at a reasonable price. Quiet, Comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms. Desk staff was very helpful. We had one slight issue that was quickly resolved and was given complimentary coffee at the cafe for our troubles which was not necessary but appreciated. Ate at the cafe for breakfast and staff was also very welcoming. Will stay again!

Hotel should be called “The Bare Minimum”. The worst housekeeping i’ve seen in a hotel that I’ve stayed at. Hair on bathroom floor by shower, dirty mirror with stains, headboards covered in dust. Base boards covered in dust. Flashing lights in room from fire alarm, you can hear the loud wind all night from the outside through the Ac/heating wall unit. You can’t sleep.

I really enjoyed my stay here and the staff was quick to correct a few issues that arose. But — I got charged for two cocktails after check out when I only enjoyed one of them. There were three cocktails when I checked in and two remained when I left. When I called to follow up on the charges, they said that housekeeping marked that two were used, even though it should have been only one. They didn’t correct the issue, so I essentially paid $40 for a pre-made Old Fashioned. Not cool. I will find somewhere else to stay on my next trip out to see my family.

If you don’t mind dragging your suitcase up 3 flights of 10 steps just enter the front door where no one greets you, no bellhop in sight, and you feel like you’ve entered a courtroom, after Driving 1 hr from the airport, then this is the place for you. If you don’t mind 3 unsmiling employees sitting behind a desk, while you struggle with you suitcase , this is, again, the hotel for you. I keenly felt like I was disrupting the nice day the three people behind the desk was having. Worst of all, they don’t allow pets!?!? The only thing they consistently well is charge exorbitant prices so you can feel good about yourself when you tell friends you stayed at the Stella. I’ll take the Hampton Inn over in 6th street which is right in the water, a walking/running path, and you’re welcomed like family for a lot less. Stay away from Stell!

This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant on the first floor that was both nice and reasonable. There is a downside that may depend on what room you are in. People in Kenosha are not big fans of mufflers and my room was on a street corner. The room shook at times. I did love the place, saw a swing band on a lower floor, went for ice cream across the street. Sleeping? A bit harder.

We loved the quaintness of the rooms and hotel. The area is fun to walk and see the old and new of Kenosha. The shampoo and shower gel was Beekman and oh so heavenly! The room felt damp though; maybe due to an unfinished ceiling.

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. I would have rated it a 5, but unfortunately there were a few issues. The refrigerator didn’t work, and it wasnt fixed even after we brought it to staff's attention. Also, the conditioner bottle in the shower was empty, and the body wash was nearly empty. And the in room coffee is not good. There were many plusses: the rooftop terrace where we listened to live music, the ice cream shop across the street, the dinosaur museum a couple blocks away. The hotel restaurants did not disappoint and they were reasonably priced. The cafe offers a $7 soup and salad bar which included a delicious clam chowder, and the restaurant provided a large selection of seafood dishes on Friday.

The Stella is a hidden gym and I would actually travel to Kenosha to spend a quiet couple of nights at this hotel. The rooms are amazing. They have a great rooftop bar. There’s dining and a coffee bar in the morning. Staff is professional. This hotel was definitely the cherry on the cake of my business trip!

It is a beautiful hotel, Very clean and friendly. However the corner baseboard fell off, the handle on the shower came off and the toilet was installed with out a lid. Maintenance fixed the shower door handle immediately and put in an work order for the baseboard. The lack of a toilet lid is gross. Every time a toilet without a lid is flushed, micro bits of dirty water will disperse. Whoever decided to install toilets like that are ignorant of the hygienic impact to the bathroom environment.

Property is clean and convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. Do not expect your room a minute before the 4:00 check in. The hotel is very nice and updated. The room was nice but hard to sleep due to noisy (rattled all night) air conditioner. Also, the smoke detector has an obnoxious flashing light all night long. If you like total darkness to sleep you are in trouble as the flashing light lights up the room.

There is not hotel parking at all! Your options are across the street at the very busy ice cream shop, or, across the other street at the church parking lot. Neither are that far. However, if you have any bags, either parking lot are not that close or convenient!
